CrystalRaine 77 Posted March 6, 2016 So, you know how there are cosplay costumes for your Avatar? Well I noticed something on a few of them that is really bugging me… On the Avatar outfits of Sora, Riku, Neku, Shiki, Mr. Mew, and the Organization XIII coat are very prominent (especially in Mr. Mew’s case) silver stars. These stars do not appear on the characters’ outfits in previous games, nor do they appear on any other Avatar outfits in the game. For instance, take Sora's oufit. Look closely, and you’ll notice that in his KH3D costume, his crown necklace has changed to a star. The same is true for his KH1 outfit. Both of Riku's outfits have one too! (On the male 3D outfit, instead of a star on the chest, there is a chain of silver stars on his belt) Neku's headphones have a silver star on the side, Shiki's cross necklace has changed to a star, and Mr. Mew (Shiki's stuffed cat) has a giant star around his neck. None of the stars are present in their KH3D incarnations. The drawstrings on the Organization XIII coat have silver stars attached - in every other appearance, they are just regular silver cords. What do all these characters have in common? They have all existed at some point within the Sleeping Worlds. The silver star does not appear on costumes of characters who have not existed with the realm of sleep, and there are no costumes of characters who appeared in the sleeping worlds who do not feature the silver star. So what does this mean? It could be nothing, but I find it incredibly hard to believe that they would bother changing some costume elements to a star when the rest of the clothes are accurate to their appearances in other games; Why bother changing Sora’s crown necklace to a star, for instance, unless it was for a reason? Why would they add a huge Silver Star to Mr. Mew, of all characters, unless it meant something significant? We know that the concepts of dreams and sleep play a big role in Kingdom Hearts χ, with Chirithy being a dream eater and Ephemera contacting Skuld within her dreams, so it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that this is being done deliberately. Speaking of Chirithy and Skuld, let's take a closer look at their designs: As we can clearly see, Chirithy has the Lux symbol (silver star) on his purse, and Skuld also has a chain of silver stars on her belt. The Players' starting keyblade, Starlight, is also based on a silver star motif. If the silver star is associated with Lux and quite possibly the Realm of Sleep, then is this a subtle hint that Daybreak Town is a sleeping world, and is there more to Lux than what we're being told? Could it be a kind of Recusant's sigil of sorts? 8 Ienzo88755, Toominator, EternalReckoning and 5 others reacted to this
Guest Posted March 6, 2016 What i f the "X" is the recusant sigil of Darkness and the Star is the recusant sigil of light?
CrystalRaine 77 Posted March 6, 2016 What i f the "X" is the recusant sigil of Darkness and the Star is the recusant sigil of light? My thoughts exactly! Considering the Recusant's Sigil is in the game's logo, it must have some significance to the game itself, but of course that's yet to be seen I'm going to keep tabs on all the future outfits to see how this develops, because it's absolutely fascinating

CrystalRaine 77 Posted March 8, 2016 Well, if this hypothetically the case, maybe the sigils were created by the foretellers to keep track of their Keyblade followers progress? Or to make sure they don't step out of line and discover the truth... Oh my gosh, this game is looking more and more like The Matrix every day D:

But then that begs the question, what exactly is Chirithy, The Foretellers or the Masters of Masters hiding?
CrystalRaine 77 Posted March 9, 2016 Interesting idea. But then that begs the question, what exactly is Chirithy, The Foretellers or the Masters of Masters hiding? I can't say for sure at this point, but what I do know is that I don't trust Chirithy or the Foretellers at all right now, especially Chirithy - every time the Player seems to go slightly off course, the Chirithy is always scolding them... it's suspicious for sure.
