I believe it's this December. My parents told me they'd pre-ordered it for me as a Christmas gift last year having mistaken the year.

If December's the date, then great!  We could get a release date by then!  But I don't think the game will come out this year, since this year's Kingdom Hearts game will be 2.8, ya know?

Indeed, it would be rushed!  And we don't want a rushed game, ya know?  I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm crazed up to have Kingdom Hearts III, but I'm willing to wait until next year, which is the most likely year the game will release, since like I mentioned before, next year is the series 15th Anniversary, so from a business standpoint, it's genius!  I can see it now!  A Limited Edition, 15th Anniversary Kingdom Hearts III Playstation 4 that's colored silver and has a badass skin of Sora and Xehanort staring down at each other!

They probably got two different teams. I guess also that Nomura is most of the time with the KH3 team.

Yep, that's probably the case!  Square's divided into a lot of different Business Divisions, so that allows for more distribution and management of their different franchises, ya know?
