Back in the days where I was only 9 and didn't use it, I had no idea of any fanbase, of people bashing other peoples opinions and so on. I just loved the game and was happy But yeah, I just try to ignore such things nowadays. A Heartless Nobody 120 Posted February 28, 2016 While I love the opening for Kingdom Hearts 2, I can understand why some people don't. I just don't understand why they put it at number three even though they said it had good points. My real problem was them putting Final Fantasy XIII on the list as number one. I've heard people bash that game to no ends, but never have I heard anyone complain about the intro. Azure Flame 670 Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) Every fanbase has it's bad eggs, that fly off the handle when anyone says something bad about what they like, even Kingdom Hearts. Unfortunately, people see these few rabid fans as what the entire fanbase is and then not only does it give the rest of us a bad name, but also gives the series a bad name and detracts people from checking it out. EDIT: Also, while we're on the subject of the prologue, I didn't really like it either. I mean yeah, it's good story and gives you a feel of who Roxas is at this point in time, but there are aspects of it that are tedious, especially when you go to play through the game multiple times, especially day two where you're forced to play thorough the mini-games several times to earn Munny just to proceed through the game. That's your opinion of -insert topic here-. I respect you and your opinion." And you have others that are like: "YOU SUCK FOR SAYING BAD THINGS ABOUT -insert topic here-!" "HATERS SHOULD DIE!" "I'M NOT GOING TO TALK TO YOU ANYMORE, IF THAT'S WHAT YOU THINK OF -insert topic here-!" Da da da... And I don't really have the "say so" to tell folks: "You shouldn't be offended over an opinion. Just take it one ear and let it come out the other. Don't get upset over stupid stuff." It's really up to the people of how they react and feel towards the opinion. They can be upset over it. OR They can just blow it off like dirt, like it's nothing! Just like my opinion over Kingdom Hearts. I love it because, it's like poetry to me, it's like I kinda see "life" expressed by a person's imagination, It reminds me of what I was taught about life, and it broadens up my childhood regarding Disney. I also believe people like IGN, Kingdom Hearts haters, and possibly some folks of Disney (when Kingdom Hearts was started all out), that their minds are not FULLY open to understand the story, the characters, why a lot of people love it so much, etc. Yeah, "friendship" is in there, and it's expressed VERY deeply! Putting aside the "friendship", what else do you see as you play the games in the Kingdom Hearts series?! I mean I could just think of things in Kingdom Hearts in a "real-world" perspective. How do we see "Heartless" in the real world? How do we see "Nobodies" in the real world? Can you compare and contrast "Heartless and Nobodies" in the real world VS the Kingdom Hearts series? What about people with "Darkness in their hearts", can you compare and contrast people in the game series VS the real world? The interaction of the characters in the series, can you relate to them any kind of way? Sorry. Got a little carried away with the typing. Mysterious Figure 353 Posted February 28, 2016 To be honest I always thought this prologue was a real drag aswell, it kinda just set up a character that we barely see throughout the rest of the game Honestly Pre-Days I thought Roxas whole existence was kinda pointless, he didn't really bring anything to the story which seemed relevant at the time But having played Days which gave Roxas more depth I would be interested to replay this prologue and heck maybe now that I actually have an understanding of the storyline maybe i'll appreciate Roxas' role for KH2 more. If Watchmojo thinks that the intro for KHII was bad, then okay, that's their opinion, ya know? I personally loved the prologue, because we're given the mystery of homeboy Roxas, and we get the slow but sure hype-up to Sora finally waking up, and by the end of the prologue, we get a sense of where the story's gonna go from then forward, and I think it's badass! But, that's just my opinion. Learn to accept other's opinions. Wait, wrong choice of words. Respect people's opinions. Even if you don't like them, at least respect them, because it's what the person's thinking.
