supermegaroxas 155 Posted February 20, 2016 So I'm still confuse about the path decision and all that stuff in the game, I received a code from GameStop to download conquest but I'm not sure if do it right now because I want to play birthright first, which I'm getting by the end of the month, and I saw that in case you want to choose the opposite path you must buy the other game at that very same moment when deciding the path. If that's not case then can I download conquest now?
Axtwyt 500 Posted February 20, 2016 Both games follow different story lines. In "Birthright", you reunite with your blood family (the Kingdom of Hoshido, I believe) to fight your adoptive family (the kingdom of Nohr). "Conquest" is vice-versa. The choice is made for you depending on which game you play. However, if I recall correctly, "Birthright" is the easier of the two games.I say go ahead and download "Conquest" if you have experience with other Fire Emblem games. If not, wait for "Birthright". Ven983 490 Posted February 20, 2016 As far as I'm aware, the code you get works more like DLC, so it won't actually work until you get your full copy of the game. I would just wait till you get your copy of the game to download Conquest so that nothing goes wrong. 1 supermegaroxas reacted to this
DragonMaster 1,166 Posted February 20, 2016 Hmm, to be clear, it sounds like you got one of those bundle deals from GameStop that was one physical version of the game (in your case Birthright) and then the download code for the other (so, Conquest in your case)? If what I wrote above is correct, then I'm fairly certain that you cannot download Conquest until you get Birthright. I assume that the download code was for the $20 version of Conquest, which is in actuality treated as DLC for Birthright, and not as a different game. You would actually need to access the DLC shop from Birthright in order to use the code that was sent to you. 1 supermegaroxas reacted to this
Veemon 1,540 Posted February 20, 2016 I'm curious about some other thing regard Fire Emblem Fates. How does it work when you want to get Revelation? Is the ultimate bundle the only way to get Revelation with Conquest & Birthright? Or perhaps can I buy Conquest, then Birthright, to get Revelation as DLC for having data for both games? I wasn't paying full attention to the details. Rock on!

Revelation will be sold as seperate DLC, but it cannot be bought till March 10; only the Special Editions have access to it right now. Without buying the Special Edition, the cheapest way to get the full game is to buy either the digital or physical version of either game, then buy the other version as DLC once you reach the chapter where you make the choice (should be $20) and then buy the Revelations DLC. You can still buy both physical copies of the games, but you will have to stick with the choice of that game and I do not believe that you receive all the benefits that you would from buying the other version as DLC.
