Veemon 1,540 Posted February 16, 2016 Today, I really am eager to talk about some more of Kingdom Hearts! Really! But, I am not interested in super in depth discussion like you normally do. I want to talk about some of the fun aspects within the Kingdom Hearts universe! And as you may have already guessed, I want to talk about the gummi blocks and gummi routes! In this topic, I want to focus it all on the gummi-related things. And we DON'T need to talk about only ONE topic here. You can choose to just chill out and talk about your favorite moments in the gummi routes, and talk about the weird multicolored lumps of gummis in KH1's gummi routes, or even ask for help or give tips on how to achieve the best scores in KH2's various gummi missions! The choice is yours! So, to start things off, without forcing any of you to participate in this exact thing I am bringing up, who wants to talk about the mysterious lumps of gummi blocks in KH1's gummi routes? Rock on! Headphone Jack 1,147 Posted February 16, 2016 i didn't give them much thought, tbh. glad KH2 made the gummi routes more interesting to play through. 1 Movies798 reacted to this
Ultimosora 159 Posted February 16, 2016 The name gummi always made me wonder what they would taste like, strangely.
Veemon 1,540 Posted February 16, 2016 The name gummi always made me wonder what they would taste like, strangely.I was curious about that, too. Is it stretchy? Can you eat it? The word "gum" is defined in a few ways. "A viscous secretion of some trees and shrubs that hardens on drying but is soluble in water, and from which adhesives and other products are made." This may sound irrelevant, but it actually might mean something. Some theories (which means it isn't confirmed yet) have concluded that the gummi blocks were made from worlds that were distorted by the darkness (like how Destiny Islands at the end of KH1 looked when it was being torn apart). So if it is true that the worlds that were consumed by darkness make up the gummi blocks, then this definition can define what gummi blocks are. Possibly. Movies798 1,358 Posted February 16, 2016 The Gummi gameplay in Kingdom Hearts 1 was honestly boring because it was slow and it felt like it was taking so long to get to the new world. However the only thing I like about the Gummi route in Kingdom Hearts 1 was that the world map in Kingdom Hearts 1 doesn't reveal which world is which, instead you have to play the Gummi games to see which world you're going to and after you finish shooting to other gummi the your destination will slowing reveal what world you're stopping at. I miss that in Kingdom Hearts 1 because I like the way I don't see the new worlds on the map, I want to play through the gummi routes and be surprise of which new world I'm stopping next after I finish completing the gummi route. I love the Gummi gameplay in Kingdom Hearts 2 because the gameplay is fast paced and very fun. However what I don't like in Kingdom Hearts 2 was that the world map in Kingdom Hearts 2 would already reveal which new world is which, I mean after completing one world then two new worlds will reveal itself on the map losing it's mystery in my opinion, because my excitement of going to a mysterious new world would disappear. I hope in Kingdom Hearts 3 the world map won't reveal the new worlds because I want to be excited when I play through the gummi routes then once I complete the route then the mystery world will slowing reveal itself, then I want to be like "Oh my God! That's Tangled's world!"
