In this order:

 

10. Charizard (Shiny) => He's very strong, and when he's black looks really cool and intimidating.

 

9. Drapion => As soon as I saw an image of him I just needed him in my team. He didn't turn out to be as strong as expected, though.

 
8.Metagross => One of my Pokémon Emerald Version team members. He's amazingly strong, but a bit slow. He's still very cool, though.
 
7. Agron => Another Emerald Version dude. Same as the one before, but even cooler :P
 
6. Torterra => My Diamond Version starter :D Quite strong, and his pokédex entry makes him cooler than what he already is! (Continent Pokémon)
 
5. Groudon => Another Emerald dude. Strong, cool, and very useful with a fire and plant based Pokémon team (trust me, I've tried this!)

 

4. Dialga => My favourite Pokémon for some time, but as the hype from the Sinnoh hype decreased, so did my hype for this one. He's still top 5, never the less!

 
3. Mewtwo => His film is the best! Also, he's strong, and using him in the same team as Groudon using Flamethrower is amazing :D

 

2. Rayquaza (Shiny) => Never had him Shiny :( However, he's just too cool, Rayquaza is top 10 for me (he would be just behind Groudon), and if he's Shiny he's just my second fav! Very, very, VERY strong, by the way, and in the same team as Groudon makes a good combo, as while Rayquaza is in the field the weather can't change, so the sunshine is eternal!

 

1.Venusaur => Don't know why, but he's my favourite Pokémon of all time! He's strong... kinda xD

Okay here I go!

 

 

10. Gogoat (I really like its simple design and has a decent moveset, and is also the first Grass Type to really like and have on a team)

 

9. Vanilluxe (I don't care what everyone says. I love ice cream. Vanilluxe is an ice cream. There's a connection here. Still, it would had been great if it performed better in battles.)

 

8. Garchomp (Awesome dragon pokemon which is powerful and had a great design.)

 

7. Zoroark (I really like its design and Illusion ability. It performs decently in battles and so I really like it)

 

6. Swampert (My first ever Pokenon, it holds a special place in my heart. As a kid my parents first got me Pokemon Emerald and so I never got to play earlier gens until the remakes. I remember starting with Torchic which I kept losing with. But after reseting I picked Mudkip and I started winning (It was actually my bad playing that made me lose with torchic as a kid), and so Swampert is one of my favorite.)

 

5. Swellow (I never treated this pokemon like much. But when I started competitive battling, I decided to try Swellow out and I was SHOCKED! The thing can outspeed everything and that Toxic Orb + Facade Combination can sweep through teams. Swellow has saved me from many tight spots.)

 

4. Samurott (My most favorite gen 5 pokemon. I wouldn't had placed it so high on the list though if it weren't for a Nuzlocke story I did based on a playthrough. I got emotionally attached to the him and in the end...Died.)

 

3. Lanturn (Best Pokemon. Typing aside, I will never forget the time Lanturn, equipped with a Rocky Helmet, survived 3 attacks from an Yveltal. I was SO surprised that I just had to record that crazy fight. That's why Lanturn is one of my favorite.)

 

2. Charizard (Design and Nostalgia plus epic Mega Forms and good competitively. I just love this pokemon.)

 

1. Latios (Design plus the movie (in which I cried as a kid) this pokemon wins first place because it has it all.)

 Very cool selection there, rayquaza is my favorite pokemon and i'm currently trying to get a shiny rayquaza in heart gold becuase I missed the event =P

1.) Lugia - A classic legendary Pokemon. And my favorite since the Pokemon the Movie 2000.

2.) Charizard - Another classic pokemon. And my favorite fire type since the first series.

3.) Swampert - Because he's one of the best water pokemon since I play Sapphire, Emerald, and Alpha Sapphire.

4.) Pidgeot - My favorite flying type since the first series.

5.) Absol - Because she's of my favorite dark type pokemon since Sapphire, Emerald, and Alpha Sapphire.

6.) Manectric - Because he's my favorite electric type pokemon since Sapphire, Emerald, and Alpha Sapphire.

7.) Flygon - Because ground and dragon is a nice dual type pokemon. And one my favorite dragons in the pokemon series.

8.) Kyogre - Because Kyogre is one of my favorite legendary pokemon after Lugia. He's one of the best water pokemon and he looks like killer whale, my favorite whales!

9.) Gardevoir - Because I love psychic fairy type pokemon and she's one of my favorite pokemon on my team.

10.) Articuno - A classic legendary pokemon since the game and Pokemon the Movie 2000 and my third favorite after Kyogre.

I honestly haven't played Pokemon in a while, but here would be my top 10 :) :

 

10. Garchomp (Great dragon Pokemon, and quite strong)

 

9. Suicune (I love dogs, I love water type Pokemon and I love Legendary Pokemon. Suicune is all of them :D)

 

8. Samurott (The only Pokemon of the 5th gen I really like tbh. But he's great!)

 

7. Dialga (My second favorite Pokemon of the 4th gen, and still one of my all time favorites. Also amazing design)

 

6. Mewtwo (Really strong, and I loved him in his movie xD)

4. Rayquaza (My favorite Pokemon of the 3rd gen. When I first got him at level 70, all of my other Pokemon were only at level 50, so he was VERY strong to me xD)

 

3. Pikachu (I just love Pikachu! Mostly because of the Pokemon anime, where he was one of my favorites characters xD I also love him in Smash.)

 

2. Empoleon (My favorite Pokemon of the 4th gen! Awesome design, really strong, and a water type Pokemon ;) I've played Diamond dozens of times, and got really attached to this Pokemon :))

 

1. Mew (Mew is my all time favorite Pokemon! His design is so simple, and yet so incredible. The most mysterious Pomeon imo, and I loved his interactions with Mewtwo in their movie :D)

I'm uneasy about having exact favoritism towards my Pokemon, like I can't just love ONE the most. So, I will list my group of favorites in one color, then 2nd favorites in another, and so on if needed. There won't be an exact order number-wise, but the groups will be listed in most favorite first.

 

 

 

1: Greninja

2: Samurott

3: Oshawott

4: Frogadier

5: Mudkip

6: Swampert

7: Torterra

8: Lapras

9: Zekrom

10: Pikachu

Note before hand that most of my experience with Pokemon was with first gen, and then Black and White, so there's not going to be a lot from the middle in here.

 

1. Koffing. From the start, Koffing has been my favorite. Maybe it's the smile, maybe it's the simple design, but Koffing has always been at the top of the list.

 

2. Paras. This is more of a personal one, since Sparky the Paras was part of one of my best teams I had in Blue. 

 

3. Muk. It's the contrarian in me, but I can't help but root for the poisonous glob while everyone else fanboys over the "prettier" Pokemon.

 

4. Blastoise. Blastoise was actually the very first Pokemon I ever saw, off of a trading card from something. Stuck with me.

 

5. Galvantula. Again, part of one of the best teams I ever had. You and me, Ungoliant.

 

6. Krookodile. Know who else was part of that team? K.Rool the Krookodile.

 

7. Trubbish. A good set up man for a long fight: throw in some toxic spikes, toxic others as need arises, and stockpile and bide your time. The only sucky thing is that when they evolve to Garbador, the Weak Armor attribute basically screws up the whole strategy.

 

8. Jigglypuff. Admittedly more because I use her a lot in Smash Bros.

 

9. Nidoking. I like it mostly because you can catch a Nidoran early on, and invest your time in it until you have a tank less than halfway through the game.

 

10. Ho-oh. The only legendary on this list, whom I like mostly for the design.

10. Eelektross. Can't say much besides the fact he's freaking adorable sorry. No weaknesses is a plus though. Mine's name is Noodles.

 

9. Armaldo. Bug dinosaur? I'll take 48 please. Called mine 'Fred.

 

8. Crobat & Weavile fight to the death for this spot. I love them both help. Named Robin and Spicy respectively.

 

7. Honchcrow. Mafia Bird. Yes. Named Cher Ami. 

 

6. Cinccino. Cinccino is so cute what the heck. Called mine Gucci.

 

5. Helioptyle. It's an electric puppy lizard which happens to be everything I love in life. Named Nikola.

 

4. Absol. Another childhood favorite of mine. I've always adored his concept and his mega is gorgeous. Currently named Peril.

 

3. Galvantula. It's an electric tarantula need I say more? Named mine Hugs.

 

2. Hydreigon. Ah yes the demon dragon who I feed cupcakes to in amie, I lovingly named mine Puppets.

 

1. Treecko, or rather the entire Treecko line. I first saw the little lizard when I was... 3 years old (?) and I thought it was the absolute cutest thing in the world and begged my brother to pick him in Sapphire. Treecko still has a special place in my heart and is still the cutest thing ever. Period. My current Sceptile's name is Venice.

 

I love every 'Mon though. I've played every generation so I have experiences with everyone, but gen III and V tend to resonate with me the most.

With mega evolutions, it changed my order of which Pokemon I like, but the top 2 always remain the same. Here's my list:

A lot of dragons there, dragon type is my favorite!

Giratina and blaziken look pretty badasses! darkrai is my favorite dark type pokemon and Gardevoir really has a beautiful design
