Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted February 14, 2016 The KH series made me cry twice. Once was when I was listening to Xion's theme in a car. I cried rivers because of how sad it it. I cried also watching the DDD opening during the 10th anniversary KH event in Japan. The nostalgia just hit me in waves thinking of how far KH and I have gotten. I also cried watching the ending of The Walking Dead: Season One by Tell Tale. It was so sad and I was watching a Let's Play too on top of that. SpeedRave 59 Posted February 14, 2016 For me it was The Ending of Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core and Final Fantasy Type-
Komali 594 Posted February 14, 2016 Assassins Creed 3 and 4 made me cry somehow. AC3 because Connor never had a chance to say goodbye to Achilles and they always had different opinions but Achilles was a better father to him than Haytham could ever be. Assassins Creed 4 because it was sad to see every dead friend of Edward looking at him in his imagination and while this lady sang this beautiful song, Edward meets his little daughter the first time and he gives her flowers. This was so cute and sad at the same time, because he gave up his pirate life and remembered every person he met, but at the same time he has a hopeful future with his family. 2 HeyMouseSayCheese and FlyingEggplant reacted to this

HeyMouseSayCheese 1,133 Posted February 14, 2016 The ending of The Walking Dead Season 1, because that game is designed to break your heart. (Also one of the endings of Season 2 made me choke up a bit, though not to the same level as season 1.) Assassins Creed 3 and 4 made me cry somehow.AC3 because Connor never had a chance to say goodbye to Achilles and they always had different opinions but Achilles was a better father to him than Haytham could ever be.Assassins Creed 4 because it was sad to see every dead friend of Edward looking at him in his imagination and while this lady sang this beautiful song, Edward meets his little daughter the first time and he gives her flowers. I agree with you on 3; people like to give AC3 a lot of shit, but it had one of the better stories out of all the AC games. I'm admittedly a sucker for dad stories, so the relationship between Achilles and Connor and the parallels between Haytham and Charles Lee hit me right my feel bone. The optional scene where Connor is talking to Achilles' grave is one of the most somber in the series for me.

His inner conflict, his relationship to Haytham and Achilles and his story made him a tragic character. I wish there would be another game with him. Headphone Jack 1,147 Posted February 14, 2016 KH2's ending made me tear up a bit, Life is Strange definitely struck an emotional chord with me, Persona 4's ending (not the Golden epilogue), and Portal 2 (not because of how sad it was but because of how incredible the game in general was) to name a few. FlyingEggplant 116 Posted February 14, 2016 I am a generator of tears and I cry way too easily. But here we go... The Terra and Aqua scene in Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance kills me. Admittedly the parallel between Roxas fighting Saïx in days and Sora fighting him in Kingdom Hearts II got me. "Different name fate." It never occurred to me that Saïx lost his fight with Roxas before Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky. My heart still hurts. Pokémon ORAS/RSE. The fight with Wally always manages to tear me up :') TWEWY "If you give up on yourself you give up on the world." ...And lots of others. The fight with Wally in ORAS is amazing! never really enjoyed it R/S/E but in ORAS it's one of the most memorable moments in that game 1 Shimmy reacted to this
VisitJoan 2,713 Posted February 14, 2016 I don't really cry at games and movies and such but the Dearly Beloved at the end of Days came close.
Shulk 8,623 Posted February 14, 2016 EarthBound is the only game that's ever gotten me to cry. Not because it was sad, but because the ending was so well done and really made you look back on your whole journey. The fact that it actually makes the player a part of the story too just made the ending even more amazing. I usually don't cry over games, but I do get sad pretty often. Xenoblade Chronicles. The plot twists and emotional moments can make the most stern person on this planet swell up with tears... F**k you Dickson. Xenoblade's never made me cry, but it got me very close very often... The scene after the battle with Lorithia and the ending both came very close.

mag77 405 Posted February 14, 2016 There have been three instances where I remember crying. The first one is Xion's death in 358/2. I just love her and Roxas, and seeing her dying and Roxas's reaction was so heartbreaking for me. The second one, which happened a long time ago, was When I first played Dragon Warrior IV with my dad, I was about four or five years old. In the begining of the fifth chapter, the hero's home town gets completely destroyed, and seeing everything gone and the people dead (as well as hearing the very sad music) made me bawl my eyes out. Seriously, it took me like 30 minutes to calm down; I was that upset. I still get sad seeing it, but I don't cry anymore. The third one is Hearing Rosalina's story in Super Mario Galaxy. The first time I heard the fourth and seventh chapters, I cried pretty badly. The music's just so sad! I actually still cry seeing it, depending on what mood I'm in. While these are the only times I remember, there have been a lot of moments that made me teary eyed In Dragon Quest V when the hero's father gets killed by the main villain. His death is so tragic because it shows that he is beating the villain's lackeys super easily. Right when he's about to win, the villain takes the hero, who's only a little kid, and threatens to kill him unless the father allows himself to be beaten to death. Its just really sad, and the music that plays during it fits really well. After his death, the villain takes the hero and makes him a slave for ten years, which makes the father's death even worse. Going back and replaying it, it makes the bridge scene with the father and the hero incredibly sad because its the last time they spend together. Another part in Dragon Quest V when the hero and his wife get turned to stone by the main villain. It shows that they are aware of what's happening while they're statues, but they can't do anything. Showing the time go by while they're in that state is pretty sad, especially since their children's first ten years are spent growing up without them. In Dragon Quest VI when the hero gets his memories back. I think its mostly the music playing during it that does it; although the memories are kind of sad too. A lot of times in Dragon Warrior VII. Well, the plot is going back in time to save all these towns and kingdoms from darkness, so some sadness is to be expected. The one scene that really stands out to me is when the robot keeps giving soup to her dead master. Its just really sad to see that the robot doesn't know what death is and can't comprehend it. The music that plays during it is probably the saddest music I've ever heard, and that is saying something. The ending in Super Paper Mario. Don't know why, but it makes me sad. Galuf's death in Final Fantasy V. Seeing him fight Exdeath, even though he's dying, in order to protect his comrades is pretty touching. For me this is the saddest death in all of Final Fantasy. Later on, seeing Krilie talking to his spirit and having him comfort her is sad too. Aria's death in Final Fantasy III is sad too, but I think its because of the music again. Papyrus's death in Undertale if you do the Genocide route. He's my favorite character in the game, and killing him just breaks my heart. What he says to you right before he dies, about him still believing in you and that there's still goodness in you despite what you've done, hits me right in the feels. I'm actually surprised that I haven't cried, because this is the saddest death in video games for me. San's death in Undertale in the Genocide route that's the only time he dies but I digress. He's my second favorite character in the game, so yeah I think its obvious why his death makes me sad. Him doing everything in his power to stop you makes it even worse. Undyne's death in Undertale in a Neutral route. Her saying she won't die as she melts actually makes me kinda sad, which is weird because I don't really like her. These are the only instances I can recall for this, but there might be more that I'll remember later. 1 Exiblade7 reacted to this
Guest Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) Xenoblade was also touching but I don't think that as much as FFXIII The realisation that Dickson (a father figure of Shulk) was using Shulk as a vessel for Zanza was far more emotional than any Final Fnatasy XIII moment will ever be. Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) 3,859 Posted February 14, 2016 The realisation that Dickson (a father figure of Shulk) was using Shulk as a vessel for Zanza was far more emotional than any Final Fnatasy XIII moment will ever be. That's your opinion mate, to me FFXIII LR was superior in that aspect.
