lehahiah81 60 Posted February 16, 2016 1) Why it's so hated? 2) Why don't you want it? It sure was lotta fun back in KH2. Sure, the animal forms have its limitations and all, but still, is very enjoyable and creative. Also, Sora and co wouldn't be transformed into animals in most of the films I listed, except for MAYBE, Dinosaur, Chicken Little and A Bug's Life. I can't really go into full detail on why I hate Chicken Little because that would take too long, but my main reason is because of the characters. As for transformations I don't think they would be needed for Bugs life or Chicken Little since those are Anthro, I was mostly just talking about those that would limit our controls not just our appearance. I did enjoy pridelands, but just don't feel the transformations necessary.
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted February 16, 2016 (edited) Put this...... OR THIS!!! NOMURA, I BEG OF YOU, MY MAN!!! PUT BOTH OF THESE CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED DISNEY FILMS, OR AT LEAST JUST ONE IN KHIII, AND I'LL BE HAPPY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!! :') But yeah, all of you have some pretty good choices, too! But really, no matter what worlds Nomura puts in the game, as long as one of these two, or hopefully both, make it into the game, I'LL BE FRACKIN HAPPY!!!! Jingilator 922 Posted February 16, 2016 Hey guys, I'm back. As you may know, I posted an idea for Spirited Away being in Kingdom Hearts III. Here's my complete idea for the world (minus exploration, of course.) I decided to drop the second visit since it would only make the game longer. You'll also notice a few story-wise changes in here. World History/Film Events (sorry if it's a bit long.) Ten-year-old girl Chihiro Ogino and her parents are moving to a new home when the dad takes a wrong turn and the family enters a tunnel into the spirit world, which the dad thinks is an abandoned theme park. The parents then go to an empty but functioning restaurant and start eating like pigs. Chihiro discovers a bathhouse and meets Haku, who warns her to leave before the impending sunset. Chihiro rushes to her parents and begs them to leave with her, only to find they have literally been turned into pigs (a shape the angry spirits most likely thought fitting for them). What's worse, the path back to the tunnel is submerged by the witch Yubaba, leaving Chihiro frightened and alone. Haku then finds her and recommends taking a job from Kamaji, the spider-like boiler man of the bathhouse. Lin, one of the employees there, sends Chihiro to Yubaba, who initially refuses her service, but then accepts her and changes her name to Sen. As stated by Haku, Yubaba traps people in the Spirit world by taking their names, and that they slowly forget them. While she's working, Sen meets No-Face, and believes him to be a customer (when really, he is the guardian of a polluted river). When most of the staff is sleeping, No-Face later tempts them with gold, and swallows three of them whole. Later, Sen discovers shikigami attacking a helpless dragon and recognizes the latter as Haku. When Haku crashes into the bathhouse badly injured, Sen follows him upstairs, and discovers a stowaway shikigami that transforms into Zeniba, Yubaba's twin sister. Zeniba says that Haku stole a seal with a deadly curse on it. He then dives into the boiler room with Sen and Boh, a giant baby turned mouse, Sen feeds him part of an emetic dumpling that causes him to vomit both the seal and a black slug, which is crushed by Sen. She then sets out to return the seal and apologize for Haku, only to encounter No-Face, who has grown to a large size. Sen feeds him the rest of the dumpling from before, causing him to vomit the workers he had previously swallowed and slowly return to his normal size. Angered by the damage done by No-Face, Yubaba blames Sen for inviting him and orders her parents slaughtered, right before Haku reveals that Boh is missing, promising to find him in exchange for Sen's name and parents back. After finding Boh and reuniting with Zeniba, now named "Granny" and having No-Face as her spinner, and freeing Haku from Yubaba's control (initially thought to be caused by the black slug from before), Sen returns to the bathhouse, Yubaba challenges her to correctly guess which of the pigs are her parents. This leads Sen to point out that none of them are her parents, and the curse is broken, and Sen's name changed back to Chihiro. Haku takes to the entrance and promises to reunite with her in the future. Chihiro reunites with her parents, who do not have memory of what happened, and the three drive away from the tunnel. Plot/World Story So I'm guessing that Sora, Donald, and Goofy would most likely arrive right before the time that Chihiro's parents are turned into pigs. They would land near the bathhouse and Sora would run up to and examine it, having never see the world before. The gang would then meet Haku, who warns them to leave before sunset (unlike warning Chihiro/Sen like in the film.) Being himself, Sora would ask why Haku's being pushy, but Haku's answer would only be that he would distract "them." Lost and confused, Sora, Donald and Goofy would ponder the reasons of this world, shortly before running into Chihiro, who says she's lost her parents. Hating the sight of anyone sad or hurt, Sora agrees to help Chihiro find her parents. That's when a group of Heartless attack the four, prompting Sora to tell Chihiro to stay back from the Heartless, easily defeating the latter. Afterwards, Sora and the others decipher that one of the Seekers of Darkness (I'm gonna have it be Young Xehanort tampering with the world order) has followed them there, but Chihiro doesn't understand, so Sora explains. The four eventually find Chihiro's parents, but as pigs. Confused and scared, Chihiro frantically runs away, worth Sora and the others chasing after her. After fighting their way through the village, now infested with Heartless and most likely Nobodies, the gang catches up with Chihiro and meet up with Haku, who apologizes for before and introduces himself. They then go to the bathhouse and meet Lin, one of the employees there. Lin introduces herself and her boss, Kamaji, to the group, then telling them to see Yubaba, the tyrannical owner of the bathhouse. You changes Chihiro's name to Sen, and the gang then part ways. Sora reflects on Yubaba's dark heart, then setting of to search for the x-Hole (something I'm making up; it's a Keyhole related to the x-Blade, which Sora would probably need to face Xehanort) of the world. Sometime later, they encounter the shikigami horde that attacked Haku in the film, and go after them. After landing in the bathhouse, Sora, Donald and Goofy would go to the badly injured Haku, and shortly afterwards fight of the shikigami, one of which survives and turns into Zeniba, who Sora initially mistakes for Yubaba. Zeniba warns them about the seal that Haku stole and had eaten, and grants them the possession of Boh, the baby turned mouse. The three then resolve to find a way to remove the seal from Haku, and are given the emetic dumpling that, when they reach him after fighting through Heartless, causes him to vomit the seal and the black slug that had previously controlled Haku. Haku comes to and, upon seeing Sora and the others, warns them about No-Face, the guardian of a polluted river. As in the film, No-face tempts him victims with gold and swallows them whole, as he did with the three staff workers at the bathhouse. Haku joins up with the three and they all rush to Sen's and No-Face's location. Stopping No-Face just in time from tempting Sen with gold, Sora, Donald, Goofy and Haku tell Sen to make a run for it as No-Face takes on a monstrous form and attacks the four, only to be defeated in battle. Yubaba chimes in, enraged by the damage done, blames Sen for inviting No-Face, and orders her parents killed along with Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Haku, but not before claiming that someone in a black hood (one of the Seekers of Darkness) had known of No-Face's rampage and that Sen, Sora, Donald, and Goofy were responsible for it. Sora, being familiar with the Seekers of Darkness, catches on quickly and tries to convince Yubaba that the man in black was lying to her, but Yubaba does not listen. Haku eventually realizes that Boh is missing, and they set off to find him in exchange for Sen's name and her parents freed. The four do, and shortly before having to guess the pigs with Sen, are attacked by a giant, flower-like Heartless and encounter Young Xehanort next to it, and Xehanort offers Sora to trade his heart for a piece of Xehanort's if he wants to grant Sen her freedom and see his "friends" again, but Sora obviously refuses, and Xehanort exits the scene as Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Haku battle and defeat the giant flower Heartless. Shortly after, Sen rushes to the four and asks what happened, so Sora explains. Yubaba then comes in, and challenges Sen to guess which of the pigs are her parents. Before she can try, however, Sora looks ahead of time and correctly states that none of the pigs are Sen's parents, and Yubaba, having been outsmarted, grants Sen her and her parents' freedom, and changes her name back to Chihiro, then leaves, never to be seen again. Afterwards, a hole appears in the sky, revealed to be a x-Hole. Sora closes it, and tells Chihiro that he, Donald, and Goofy, are on a journey. Chihiro and the others bid them farewell, as they continue their adventure. I was thinking that maybe the shikigami and No-Face could be sub-bosses, and the flower Heartless be the main boss of the world. The world name (I can't remember if I posted this before) could be "Spirit Bathhouse", and the Keyblade for completing this world would be "Heart of Benevolence", a Keyblade that makes up for its horrible range with an 85% boost in healing magic. 1 SRKTVAMDGRLXN reacted to this
SRKTVAMDGRLXN 232 Posted February 16, 2016 I only want to see him fighting. Also Oswald belongs better to Epic MIckey. And still many people (even some KH fans) don't know him, so KH3 looks like a perfect opportunity to make him shine once more, as well as the other forgotten/underrated Disney productions (TV shows/films) mentioned at the start of this topic/post. 1) Why it's so hated? 2) Why don't you want it? The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted February 18, 2016 You really think our ideas/choices are pretty good? Yep! I mean sure, odds are we won't get all these worlds in KHIII, but hey, I think it'd be a pretty good trend to have at least one or two animal themed worlds in future KH games! That way, movies like Lady And The Tramp, Oliver And Company, and all those other critter flicks will have their time to shine! Putting them all in just one game would be overkill though, cuz I don't wanna be an animal the entire game! X3 And there's some shows that could really work with KH, given that Nomura and Squared Elvis get their know-hows on how to put 'em in the KH games, and Studio Ghibli flicks could also make the cut, since Disney helped bring 'em over to American shores! Overall, there's good world ideas, we just have to see how Nomura will handle it all in the future! 1 SRKTVAMDGRLXN reacted to this

He would be himself (human). Well, that could happen, but remember that in worlds where the circumstances differ, he's transformed into different versions of himself! For Atlantica, he's a mermaid man! For Halloween Town, he's a costumed vigilante! (Heh, but my costume is far better!) For Pride Lands, he turns into a savage little kitty cat! See what I'm going with here? Sora would look too outta place in worlds where there are strictly animals in them, ya know? Cuz those critter flicks obviously star the critters, not the humans, ya know? But then again, Disney Castle's filled with animal freaks and Sora's still a human...so you could be onto something, kid! 1 SRKTVAMDGRLXN reacted to this

This same thing can be said about Halloween Town (and Christmas Town) and The Grid/Space Paranoids. 4) Exactly my point. Seriously, Sora didn't even have to be transformed in 100 Acre Wood (a world inhabited only or mostly by animals), nobody in that world thought it was strange to have a human around and the boy understands perfectly what all the animals there say. But, in Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians, Oliver & Company and other films/worlds, there are humans around, so Sora and co don't need to be transformed in animals to communicate with them (and humans), as they (the trio) could pretty much understand what both of them say. 5) ^^ ^_^ 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

IwasBornAsVentus 396 Posted February 26, 2016 Wow Im very late to this topic (I like your list) Im very happy to see that you mentioned Dinosaur cause I don't really see much request for that one. I see no one have mentioned Brother Bear so I guess I do since I really love that film and see very much pontential for it as a world. Brother Bear is a roadtrip adventure drama movie with a coming of age story about loss and redemption with very powerful themes that I think fits perfectly with Kingdom Hearts. Kenai's growth throughout the film is amazing to see, he started out as a very ignorant and selfish man but during the course of the film he matures and understands his faults and takes Koda under his wing as a brother instead of remaining as a human. I think he's growth could really show Sora that not every person who seems bad can't turn over a new leaf. The world itself is beautiful and mysterious and the spirits could play a very interesting part in Kingdom Hearts. 2 SRKTVAMDGRLXN and The Transcendent Key reacted to this

Ventus_ 396 Posted March 3, 2016 (edited) In the case of Aristocats and Lady and the Tramp, the heartless and nobodies can't really be worked into their plots, they don't have strong antagonists, I don't know that one could say that Lady and Tramp has one at all and Sora wouldn't be believable in the form of domestic pets. Perhaps plausible scenarios can be arranged, and if SE can manage that power to them. I'm not saying that I don't appreciate the films, I find them to be quite well done (although the rich lady leaving her estate to her cats is a bit stupid, does anyone actually do that?), I just don't immediately see how they'd fit into KH. The Lion King was a unique case because it's one of few films starring animals to have a humanized plot (inspired by Shakespeares Hamlet actually) with a convincing alternate Sora form and an antagonist who acted out of darkness and power hunger much like the rest of the villains used so far. In Simba's Pride, Scar is even described in a very KH manner as having "a darkness in him that he couldn't escape". Now Chicken Little wasn't forgotten but rather was unmemorable to begin with. It might actually be Disney's least successful film of all time or else is one of them. The plot was weak, the characters lacked depth and again there is the issue of there being no antagonist (the aliens seemed like it but actually turned out not to be). The only really notable thing about it was the soundtrack. At least, I thought there were some good titles. The worlds I want to see most are: Treasure Planet The Emperor's New Groove or rather it's scrapped original concept Kingdom of the Sun Atlantis The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I also support Dinosaur and The Great Mouse Detective from OP's list. Mickey's Nobody? Considering that Oswald was created before Mickey and was stolen, what if it were the other way around and Mickey was Oswald's nobody? I believe that would be kind of an epic plot twist. SRKTVAMDGRLXN 232 Posted March 8, 2016 The trouble with Aristocats and Lady and the Tramp is that the heartless and nobodies can't really be worked into their plots (1), they don't have legitimate antagonists (2) and Sora wouldn't be believable in the form of domestic pets (3). It's the same case with most animal films. The Lion King was a unique case because it's one of few to have a humanized plot (inspired by Shakespeares Hamlet actually) with a convincing alternate Sora form and an antagonist who acted out of darkness and power hunger (4) much like the rest of the villains used so far. In Simba's Pride, Scar is even described in a very KH manner as having "a darkness in him that he couldn't escape". Plotwise The Great Mouse Detective would work but is still questionably believable in terms of transforming Sora to fit in. Would he really work as a mouse and what would that make Donald and Goofy? Bugs? I'm on the fence (5). Now Chicken Little wasn't forgotten as opposed to unmemorable. Again there isn't an antagonist nor is there a strong plot or protagonist characters. The worlds I want to see most are: Treasure Planet The Emperor's New Groove or rather it's scrapped original concept Kingdom of the Sun The Hunchback of Notre Dame (6). Considering that Oswald was created before Mickey and was stolen, what if it were the other way around and Mickey was Oswald's nobody? I believe that would be kind of an epic plot twist (7). 1) Explain yourself, please. 2) and 4) They don't have legitimate antagonists? You mean a rat who tries to kill/harm a newborn baby, a dogcatcher who probably "puts dogs to sleep" (if you know what I mean), an old lady who adores her evil cats (and mistreats dogs in general) and a butler who wants to get rid of his mistress's cats (by any necessary means) just to inherit their money are not acting out of darkness and power hunger? 3) and 5) Ummm...who told you Sora and co. would be transformed in animals in those worlds, my friend? The least it could happen is: they would be shrunken (in A Bug's Life and The Great Mouse Detective cases) to fit with the environment/characters, but, aside from that, they would be completely normal. 6) It has appeared in KH3D already, buddy. Unless KH3 covers the second movie's plot or creates an original story just like BH6, it sadly might not come back... 7) Aw, shucks, thanks (0)! ^_^ Ooh, how could I have forgotten about this film!? Now I feel ashamed that I forgot about it! But yeah, the whole film is interesting, and I could definitely see Brother Bear fitting in quite nicely with Kingdom Hearts (1)! Let's hope it ends up being there! Ooh, and Dinosaur's great too (2)!!! X_X 0)  1) Same here. 2) Right? 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

Indeed, Dinosaur is awesome! I love that movie! I grew up with said film!
Ventus_ 396 Posted March 9, 2016 (edited) 1) Explain yourself, please. Not substantially, in the case of Lady and the Tramp while Aunt Sara and the siamese cats display cruelty towards the protagonists, their roles are brief and don't impact the overall story. In fact, Sara might not have actually been cold hearted, her reaction to the rat suggested that she was merely being paranoid that Lady was a safety risk to the baby, which the cats setting her up to appear destructive didn't help with. The rat isn't even a character, it's a cameo, a plot device. With Aristocats, I guess I just don't see the strength or sense in a rich woman leaving her estate to her cats let alone the butler's hatred being towards domestic animals. I love animals, I have two dogs and a cat but I just don't see it fitting with the theme of KH. If something like that was plausible why have they not used Cruella De Vil, considering that they used the Dalmatians in the first game? 3) and 5) Ummm...who told you Sora and co. would be transformed in animals in those worlds, my friend? The least it could happen is: they would be shrunken (in A Bug's Life and The Great Mouse Detective cases) to fit with the environment/characters, but, aside from that, they would be completely normal. Then why was Sora transformed into a lion in the Pridelands in KHII? Shrinking him may be plausible for The Great Mouse Detective or a Bug's Life, that I'll grant, I but if we're going to entertain the notion of using Lady and the Tramp and Aristocats, you have to look at it in retrospect. Sora is portrayed as being unable to verbally communicate with four-legged animals in human form. We see this with the Dalmatian quest in KHI and once again the Pridelands in KHII. Or are you suggesting the non-communicative/narrative concept the Dalmatian thing used? Now that could be interesting. 6) It has appeared in KH3D already, buddy. Unless KH3 covers the second movie's plot or creates an original story just like BH6, it sadly might not come back... I'm aware of this but, at least some worlds in 3D strayed from the initial portrayals and incorporated KH into the film storylines instead of the other way around. I'd love an original adaption of HOND in KHIII with an elaborated use of Frollo as a member of Maleficent's council. Gahhh, I wonder if Brother Bear has been considered to be in Kingdom Hearts III? Indeed, Dinosaur is awesome! I love that movie! I grew up with said film! OMG, I can't believe I didn't think of Brother Bear! I support it!
