neil98 313 Posted February 10, 2016 (edited) My fears are a bit stupid but here they are: music of the game not living up to the hype (although i know shimomura always delivers), length of the game being too short (i tend to think it will take mere 20 hours to finish) and the greatness of the worlds not leaving space in the disc to add more content to the game, because as u might be knowing, all the worlds will be this kind of "open world" areas, which takes a great ammount of disc space, and thus maybe even causing us to get less worlds in the game than we are supposed to (granted we also hace data install but you know...fear is fear lol) As for story, i know nomura never disappoints me, so im cool with that. Now, if only the game was already out... EDIT: Forgot, but i fear we won't get a secret boss harder than lingering will. I JUST WANT TO FEEL THE RAGE OF DYING AGAIN AND AGAIN!!! Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted February 10, 2016 (edited) I'm afraid that Kairi will be a minor character again and won't be given a chance for character development... I don't care what the haters say about 'it's too late for her so just forget about it,' I really want her to shine in a KH game. Also no romantic development. I mean for crying out loud, this is a game by Square Enix and friggin Disney so seriously, I'm surprised there's no official ship yet. I'll never understand why people use it being a Disney game, of all things, as a reason as to why Sora and Kairi shouldn't get together. How many Disney movies end with the Hero and the Princess living Happily Ever After? Square I can see, but romance is Disney's wheelhouse. If anything it being a Disney game makes it more likely that they get together. And it's not like Square is a stranger to romance either. Zack and Aerith, Cloud and Tifa, Tidus and Yuna, Snow and Sera. And I recall Nomura saying years ago that he'd like to explore that relationship anyway. Not saying they have to kiss, but they should at least tell each other exactly how they feel. Maybe share a poupu fruit at the end or something. Komali 594 Posted February 10, 2016 I hope that it doesn't lose its charm and humor. I am also afraid of too much characters, which means no spotlight for some of them. It can only be solved with multiple playable characters.

Isaix 924 Posted February 11, 2016 I have faith in SQUARE ENIX,I'm sure KH3 will be amazing but I do have very high expectations for the story,I want it to answer all the unanswered questions I had thoughout the series and I feel like a lot of characters like Xaldin,Luxord,Marluxia or Vanitas need more development and I'd be disappointed if they were to be neglected in KH3. KH3 will focus on the 7 lights vs the 13 darknesses and saving the lost friends but I hope they remember that there's more to it then just that. Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted February 11, 2016 He's on this website? Huh, well didn't see that coming. I don't typically like to get into this kind of question since it can be rather vague. I mean, to what degree should I be worrying about something? Should I worry about something that has NEVER happened in the series before that other series' do, like end with the main character dying? Or should I worry about something that the series HAS done before, such as certain plot points being repeated, such as Sora needing to release his heart again for some purpose or another? Personally, I just prefer not to think about that, usually because I have been given little reason to worry in the past. The story has never disappointed me, the gameplay tends to be pretty fun no matter what system I'm using, and the characters always tend to be pretty enjoyable. I'm at the point that I just have so much faith in what they're doing that if I tried to force myself to imagine things to be worried about I would just be needlessly burdening myself. I guess at worst, I would hate to see this become a "Phantom Pain Incident" where for some reason or another Square Enix flips their lid and fires Nomura, forcing the game to be rushed and be released as only half of what it ever could have been. But that's a huge what if, and even then it's pointless as it's unlikely to happen. A more realistic concern would be whether or not Utada will be able to write and perform a new song for the game like with previous numbered titles, and even then I know that's not the end of the world, it would just be one little artistic hiccup that would kind of be bugging me every time I play, but wouldn't tear apart the experience itself. I don't think the community really "needs" to know what the worst possible thing to happen to KH3 could be, because a majority already have their own concerns that I'm sure they're still pretty rational about. The last thing they need is some overhanging theory about what could doom the franchise forever. But that's just my thought about the idea.

Dave 5,715 Posted February 11, 2016 Well, with BBS and DDD basically already doing all of the things that I didn't want to happen, it's hard to say what's left that KH3 could do that would disappoint me. But let's try. -I'm afraid that at least 90% of Team Xehanort's dialogue and actions will be vague taunting and very little in the ways of actually doing anything. -I'm afraid that Maleficent will continue to be sidelined, instead of back in the main even like she belongs. -I'm afraid there will be at least one attempt to make Vanitas relevant, which will tie back to the first point about the villains taunting and doing nothing for thirty hours. -I'm afraid that the game is going to spend way too much time trying to emphasize how important everyone other than Sora is. I get that we're essentially doomed to looking for Aqua and Ventus, but if I have to sit through more bologna about how Riku is immune to Darkness, we riot. -On that note, I'm afraid that the whole "Riku is immune to Darkness and Sora isn't" garbage will be at the forefront of things. One of them willingly abetted in trying to destroy the world, and one didn't. Reasonably certain they don't know how how resistance to temptation works. - I'm afraid that the Princesses of Heart will keep being used relatively poorly. They're all capable and strong characters, and really should be treated as such. Don't let them just wait around in a safehouse or something; let them act, like when they managed to stem the overflow of Darkness from engulfing the world. -I'm afraid that there will essentially be nothing proactive that we will be doing during the game save walking blindly into Xehanort's plan regardless. If the same result will happen whether I play or not, there's no point to playing the game.
lehahiah81 60 Posted February 11, 2016 (edited) The disney worlds not having any importance once again, The X-blade not getting a re-design Worlds being too straightforward and linear, The game not having any backtracking and I mean real backtracking not that thing in KH2 where you just go back to the worlds a second time to defeat a heartless or to get materials for synthesis. I want it having something like the first game where we need certain spells and such to progress, and so we go to one world get the spell or ability and come back where it's required. The game being too short. Static faces in cutscenes Game being too easy. That stupid info bar that shows up in KH2 and other games telling you what you already know to do. Unnecessary censorship for the western audiences, I know it's bound to happen but still Edited February 13, 2016 by lehahiah81

Gameplay wise it improved as it was much smoother, the gummi ship battles were much more fun, but this was about it where it improved and everywhere else just went downhill for me, but that's just my opinion. I know pretty much everyone else praises it as the greatest game in the series, but to me the later games are just too simplistic, and easy.
KH4Real 749 Posted February 11, 2016 If Roxas will die he will sure get a nice ending. In order to beat KH2 KH3 must have atleast the best worlds including Pocahontas . As far now Tangled and BH6 are ok but not the best. Looks like they are skipping alot. 1 Garrett929 reacted to this
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted February 12, 2016 *Strokes my imaginary beard, pretending to be a wise old sage, and thinks deeply upon your question.* Hmm, you pose an interesting question, Mr. HMK! A very interesting question indeed! But honestly, I'm not really worried much about how Kingdom Hearts III will turn out! What does worry me and will probably annoy me is the fact that lots of fans that never played the other games, (Chain Of Memories, Birth By Sleep, Days, Re:Coded, Dream Drop Distance.) are gonna bash on KHIII because they'll probably say sh*t like: Who the heck is Xehanort? Why is the story so confusing? Since when does Roxas have a twin? What the hell's been happening since Kingdom Hearts II!? And that's what's gonna really piss me off, because fans will then bash on Squared Elvis and Nomura and blame them for being confused, when all they had to do was play all the games. It's not like they're not available! There are ReMixes out there, ya know? But yeah, that's my only gripe! But for all of us who've played all the games, we'll get to enjoy KHIII the most! But yeah, I know the story, music, gameplay and worlds will be epic, so I'm positive with this game! Hell, I'm gonna see if I can be able to get myself into the game as a summon, or maybe even a secret boss! #DeadpoolForKingdomHearts 2 mag77 and lehahiah81 reacted to this
mag77 405 Posted February 12, 2016 (edited) There's really only two fears I have, but one of them is pretty stupid. The first one is that SE will rush the development of it. I don't want another Sonic 06 disaster. And while I'm usually not one to complain about the graphics, I am a bit worried about the character models. They look so plastic-like that its a bit creepy. I really hope SE will fix that; I mean come on, this is on a next gen console, the graphics should look better than its predecessors. And the other fear I have (which is completely stupid btw) is that SE will have Lightning be in it and have her as a keyblade wielder. Its not a secret that I loathe Lightning with a passion, but I've already accepted the fact that she will most likely be in KH3. However, they seem so obsessed with her that they shove her into the spotlight in a lot of things. I'm afraid that they'll decide to give her a major role in KH3, and what better way to do that than to make her into a keyblade wielder. It wouldn't be fair to do that since they haven't done that with other FF characters, and it would be very telling on how much they favor her over the others if they do that. And I just wanna see as little of Lightning as I possibly can. Yeah, I know this is a really stupid fear, but it is one of them. That's not really a fear of mine, simply because this will happen; its just a fact. But it will be incredibly annoying when it does. Same goes with the overhype; I already know the game won't live up to some people's expectations, and it will be super annoying to here them whining about it. *Edit: Forgot about DLC and having KH3 possibly being episodic... yeah, please don't do that to us SE. Shimmy 458 Posted February 12, 2016 I try to keep my expectations mild so I won't be disappointed but if Kairi is ignored again I demand we riot If I'm being honest to myself the deaths of characters I'm particularly emotionally attached to (Ven, Sora, Saïx etc.) unsettles me but there's not really anything you can do 'bout that. Not too worried though.

As for Lightning, yep, she's bound to appear in Kingdom Hearts III! (She's such a babe!) My money is on the guess that she'll appear in Mount Olympus to battle Kratos and become the next God Of War, and then I'll dethrone her and become the God Of War myself! Heh, I'm that badass!
