"What we did to improve the rendering on these titles (FFVII, FFVIII) was mainly to adapt the game to the latest resolutions and have the best full screen experience on the latest devices." They do not consider them to be remasters. Shinji Hashimoto called it upscaled. With the exception of I, II and XI I fully expect all mainline games on PS4. Edited February 10, 20169 yr by Sora96

PS4 will have a much longer lifespan than PS3 due to critical success.
