Just today I tried playing my PS3 for old time's sake, and oh my god the PS4 is so much better. I never realized how slow the PS3 was before! Booting up, checking PSN, checking my trophies, loading games, it all takes so much less time on the PS4, Plus, the ability to download and install updates automatically while the system is in rest mode is a godsend; I had to wait 20 minutes for my PS3 to update just to go online.

All that and the Dualshock 4 fits so much better in my hands, and the record function is super rad. Yeah, current gen is great.

Wii U has even better games than the Wii, and a lot of other nice features. The PS4 looks nice, but I think the PS3 library has more games that would interest me to be honest, so I might end up still liking the PS3 more once I get a PS4.

At this exact moment in time, Nintendo is the only one that has made this gen better than last. There were just so many good games last gen and I haven't had any really great games this gen yet. I do think that this could easily change in the future but as of now last gen was better

What do you mean?

Well, in case you didn't get the memo, hi, I'm Deadpool!  I'm taking over Transcendent what's his name's profile for the month, so yeah, I'm just here every day, watching what all of you crazy people do!

To answer your question, my Meow Wow compadre, what I meant is that I want to see if High Moon Studios did the Deadpool game justice!  Cuz I'm Deadpool! Get it? :3

It depends on whether you mean the last gen or previous gen gaming (as in, N64 or SNES).  I prefer older consoles, personally, because there is something about the classic video games (before DLC and Internet) that just made games so fun and enjoyable.  I miss that era, whether it be my age or otherwise, but I would have to go with last gen gaming by far.

Hrm... I would say in terms of quantity of games, previous Gen has the edge (obviously, but also relatively speaking). In terms of quality, though, an individual (native) PS4 game pretty much blows a PS3 game out of the water.

Ultimately I enjoy playing a little bit of everything. I'm currently on the present gen because of things like Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Gravity Rush Remastered, etc.

Yes, my ps4 loads and runs the games better than my ps3. In terms of games, no, I suppose not but the past gen have been out a lot longer so that's be expected

I liked the last gen, which was... What were the last-gen consoles?

Well, I like both this gen and last gen, and the gen before that, and possibly the gen before that. All equally. :)

Rock on!
