So I was asking If there was anyone kind enough that had extra mew codes to share and suddenly got a ban. Why, I asked the moderator and he/she said because I supposedly was begging for the code

It is against the rules to do so.

Banning is their way of punishment. Let them know you did not know and you are sorry and ask if it was permanent or if its temporary.

You just ask for it at the counter and they'll give it to you. When I went for the Diancie event, I didn't need to buy anything. They even gave me some extra codes for my friends.

I bet he wasn't the only one who "begged" for codes, hence why he/she got banned without warning; mods got tired of the amount of people making new posts.

Don't they usually have some sort of centralized thread for codes? Don't frequent the subreddit often, but that should be the case if they don't do that already. I can't imagine having to sift through all the code begging threads.

 

Edit: Here's the thread for it lol. Don't think you'll be able to comment since you're banned, but you'll probably want to PM someone who says they have a code to give away.
