"Nomura: Master of Master plays quite an important role in KHx Back Cover and by the way, he also appeared in KHx in a black coat." What do we think about Master Xehanort possibly being the Master of Masters after Nomura stated this a while ago? Maybe because Xehanort is a Keyblade Master and he is supposedly the Master of five foretellers', is why he's dubbed the 'Master of Masters'? Cricket 1,180 Posted January 26, 2016 What is there was no true Master of Masters at all, and MX just went back in time to dub himself the Master of Masters and thickens his plot to take KH...ugh...I hate thinking this. Your theory is a possibility since time travel now exists. 1 Henne reacted to this

I don't recall Nomura saying the Master of Masters (grandmaster to keep it short) wears a black coat. I remember him saying that the traitor would stick out from the pack and would wear a black coat. Could you find the interview and give the link so I could reread it? I just want to be sure before I offer my opinion.

Nomura: In “KHx Back Cover”, there is quite a turn. By the way, in “KHx”they have appeared in a black coat." It's about half way down in the interview and I remember reading something similar to that too but in all honesty I can't find it, it would be cool to see that again so we could compare and contrast them. No no no, he said the master of masters has pointed out who stands out as a traitor and Nomura also says a little later that he appears in a black coat. I had to read that portion a few times since it was a little confusing reading it and understanding who he was referring to. He didn't say the grandmaster was in the coat. Besides, in the nightmare in the KHX walkthrough, he wouldn't have a dark threatening presence. 1 SnowPint7Fourths reacted to this
Guest Posted January 26, 2016 (edited) I'm going to go one step further, the Master of Masters is related to Xehanort. The obsession to darkness may be so strong that it's hereditary. And to add insult to injury, the Sixth Foreteller tries to hide the fact that he was trained by Master Xehanort's relative, because, he doesn't want him obsessed with darkness, however, that all comes back full circle. Or, as you've said: The Master of Master is Master Xehanort reincarnated. Edited January 26, 2016 by Guest

KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted January 27, 2016 Thanks for the clarification mate Of course! Hey, I could see how you could have been confused. I had to read those few lines a couple times over because of how he said it.
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted January 27, 2016 It would be intriguing if the Master Of Masters actually ended up being Master Xehanort himself! It would prove to be quite the intriguing twist!
KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted January 27, 2016 It would be intriguing if the Master Of Masters actually ended up being Master Xehanort himself! It would prove to be quite the intriguing twist! Twist, yes. However, it won't happen because Nomura has said the grandmaster's role is small and all he does is warn about the traitor standing before the Foretellers. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

Thanks for clearing that up for me!
Carius229 2 Posted February 1, 2016 Plus Xehanort wasn't born around that time. To travel to a time period he needs some version of himself there. Otherwise he can't show up. The only way Xehanort could of possibly done it is if a Foreteller generated a version of him with their Book of Prophecy. Although I don't think such a thing would count as a version of him at the destination. I'd be disappointed if it turned out like that.
