Ironically, Re:coded pissed me off to no end for some reason, probably the control setup. I traded it in for a reason; I'd rather see it stay in cutscene style. Other than that, I've heard things about 358/2's combat system, so I'd probably like to see that made into a full-feature remake. I have yet to watch the cutscene movie of the latter, ala 1.5 HD Remix, but I'll get to it. Probably after CoM.

Well, I've heard one of those games is pretty fun.

Either way, I don't think now is a good time to talk about remakes given our current situation. Sometime after? Maybe.

no. there is no reason to go back to those games again. what little they added to the overall story can be explained in cutscenes in newer games if needed.

358/2 is very critical to the story actually. And a lot of people really like it. I wish Nomura would have put it on the PSP back in the day so it could just be remastered.

It's been 7 years since it came out on the DS- it's time for a remake. That way all the games are on consoles. I would also love if they could add a bit more to days aswell. They had originally intended for there to be more content on it, I would love to find out more about what else the organization was up to at this time and also more about Xemnas. And I just love watching all the members work off each other :D

i don't remember what parts of the game were critical to the overall story. of course i haven't played the game/watched the HD cinematic cutscenes in a long time so maybe my memory is just fuzzy. either way i'd be willing to bet that the important plot points Days has could be easily explained in a short cutscene in a future game, if needed. i wouldn't say we need a whole remake to remind everyone.

Too late. It would've been perfect for Wii instead for DS. They had their second chance with 1.5 HD Remix, but it was obviously not a priority to remake the game.

After KH3 I don't want anything related to the old saga and I don't want it before KH3 either.

Yes, but I don't want it to take away from KH3, so maybe they should make it when they port over the remixes onto the PS4, or PS5. I think it should be done but after KH3, as the information in the cutscenes is enough for now, and besides, when they do remaster the games, they are going to need to include everything that was included in the cutscenes of 1.5 and 2.5, so that might take a little work as well.

Of course I'd like Days and Coded to get remakes, as they both need a better control scheme and updated gameplay. That's not the only reason though. I like their stories, but I'm not going to sit down to watch a three hour-long theater version of cutscenes. I mean, if they do a remake, just add the updated cutscenes.

Sure, I'd be up for some full remakes of both games, but personally, I think that's best reserved for after Kingdom Hearts III comes out, because I think that after 2.8, we really should be getting Kingdom Hearts III! X_X

But yeah, I'd love to get the chance to play 358/2 Days and Re:Coded on consoles one day! :D

It's not only to remind us. It's cause we really love the game.

well that's fine and all but you have to consider if that's really worth the time and effort SE would put into a full playable remake of a DS game. at the end of the day i don't think it would be in their best interests to pour resources into a remake of an "OK" game. i honestly wasn't aware that so many people liked it that much. i personally don't think it's an awful game but it sure can get boring and repetitive and again, whatever important plot points it mentions (i don't remember any but i could be wrong) can be brought up again later with no issues. Controls were the least of its problems imo.

either way SE isn't going to remake Days or Re:Coded. they missed that opportunity when the HD Remixes came and went. going back to remake those games would just feel redundant.

The only playable remake I want is Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. 358/2 Days maybe a side-story but it's very important on Roxas character arc. in the Kingdom Hearts series. I was so disappointed that they decided to remake as a cinematic cutscenes instead a full playable game, but they would have delay the game for a year in order to that, but I understand that Nomura to release the game early for us fans. As for Re:Coded no, I don't want to play full remake of Re:Coded because the Re:Coded as cinematic cutscenes in HD 2.5 Remix work very well in my opinion.

Very much so for Days. That game tried a lot of new and unique things and failed on pretty much every front in my opinion. It's a clunky mess, and it could really use a decent remake. Re:Coded is actually a good game with decent controls and mechanics, so it really doesn't need a remake (though a port wouldn't hurt).
