That one is actually one of my favourite because of... How unexpected and shocking it was, and it just made me want to play Lighting Returns right away On topic, the worst could be... I can't think of one, but FFIV: The After Years one wasn't the best, for example, because... we don't know what happened in Zemus' Moon, and there isn't much of a chance of a FFIV-3 1 Sendou Aichi reacted to this

Shulk 8,623 Posted January 25, 2016 Dream Drop Distance. The whole time travel thing doesn't sit well with me at all. 3 Heartless Plush, Silent and Sendou Aichi reacted to this

Komali 594 Posted January 25, 2016 No, the worst video game ending is Tetris. 3 Exiblade7, Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) and Valhite reacted to this
Kalebninja 188 Posted January 25, 2016 FF 13-2 is one of my favorite endings. It had such happy music and they were all celebrating until she drops dead the music stops and the world gets consumed in darkness, it was the ultimate cliff hanger. Also time travel wouldnt work since those portals were closed. 1 Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) reacted to this
Isaix 924 Posted January 25, 2016 Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 had a horrible ending, nothing happens at the end,you beat the final boss and that's it.You just have to create your own ending in your head I guess, its terrible. Final Fantasy IV The After Years's ending was kinda random with the creator and all that stuff. FFVI and FFX's ending were not terrible but when I beat those games and I saw the ending I was like: wait that's it? especially FFVI. 2 Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) and Sendou Aichi reacted to this

Isaix 924 Posted January 25, 2016 Curious to hear more details on what you felt was lacking from FFVI's ending. I was expecting a bit more from the ending considering how amazing the rest of the story was.Usually when you beat a game you see what happen to the important characters after the end of the game, but we didn't see anything really, they escape Kefka's Tower and that's pretty much it,no final words from Kefka,no 2 months later, nothing. The only interesting plot point at the end was whether or not Terra would survive after they destroy magic because she was half esper and it was cool to see that see survive but that's pretty much it.In the other FF there's always something interesting going on at the end like the meteor in FF7,time travel in FF8,Kuja's redemption and the Iifa tree in FF9,the endless cycle in FF1,etc. but noting in VI. 1 Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) reacted to this

Second, the portals closed with Caius' defeat, and even if he went back in time, how could he save her? He can't stop her form seeing the future, so basically the only thing he could do is go back in time to not complete what he was after so Serah wouldn't die. Sora96 17,256 Posted January 25, 2016 (edited) XIII-2's and X's were amazing. Controversial endings are among the best. The whole point of XIII-2's was to set up LR and it did amazing. In regards to The After Years, no you aren't getting another FFIV game. Tokita busy with his own FF spin-off right now. But could they not do XIII-2 ending make a little bit non ''Everything you did has been for nothing except that one thing but hé... We still have doomsday'' 1. Mass Effect 3 Endings. 2. Batman Arkham Knight: A bad game and bad ''endings'' but I didn't expect it to be so stupid 3. Assassin's Creed 3 ending 4. Assassin's Creed Unity 5. Dave 5,715 Posted January 28, 2016 The worst ending for me has to be Shadow of Mordor. Not only is the final boss a quick time event, but the fact that the game ends with Celebrimbor straight up saying that he's planning on making another Ring goes so far against everything The Lord of the Rings talks about that you can't help but wonder if anyone actually took the time to think about what that meant.
