Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) 3,859 Posted January 21, 2016 (edited) OK, so I've decided to post a song I often listen to and I think it's got a good message that I would like to share with you. Unfortunally, the song's lyrics are in Spanish so most of you won't understand them, but I'll translate them and leave them in a spoiler tag so you can check them, however they will lack rythm and rhymes. The lyrics aren't too clear, it's not easy to translate a song I've put between () some things to make it easier to understand. The song is fairly long, so forgive me if there's any spelling/gramar mistake I would like to hear your thought sabout this song. Lyrics (English): MC: EL CHOJIN The happiness felt when we're together, it's partly lost when you think of the reason, we're all different with our ways and style, but it's Hip-Hop, and it must be left clear. MC: LÍRIKOHave you ever stopped to speak with yourself?Life can be a different colour if you talk about racism,I'm not here to tell you a speech about Human Rights, neither am I here to speak to you about Romans stories. It's the lucidity opposed to the stupidity that exists,I wonder where the joke starts and ends, good tale told to the peddler, who's another workerwith a family and a future ahead.MC: EL SANTOEach one of us is unique in their own species, there's no motive or reason for it to be despised,it's the fear to the evenness and to disregard the different (things). We're separated by a permanent and absurd social class:the biggest hatred because of the smallest reasonthere's no colour, no comparison, just another episode where the most intolerant fascismisn't healed reading, neither is the racism travellingMC: EL LANGUINo matter how many songs we make,no matter how much we demonstrate,no matter how many victims suffer, they don't fall through the land,we do not get aware, and that's how things end up,and this is how it's written in article number one:"we're born free, and even in rights and dignity",then why is it so hard to carry it out of the paper?MC: KASE.OTall, short, ugly, good-looking, black, white, does it matter? We'll all be bald and under gorund in one hundred years from now, right?Have you never tried to meet/get to know a foreigner?Look at the kids, they know what this is all about, the human race is a crucible, whoever can't see beauty in this doesn't deserve to look at the sun,my partner takes over, for this new worldit's the triumph of love against fear.MC: NACHWhen the racist beast feels rage and death, when the phobia spreads and steams, acusing you from not been the same, when in a global worldlooking for food turnes you into an illegal person, when the law of foreigns traps you without reasonand hipocresy covers it's eyes and ears, racism and marginalization, when they only see the skinand forget about the heart.LOCUSNo one asks you to save the world from its pain,we've all lost hope in a better world, life is so cruel and scoundrel that I understand (you),sometimes being honest/righteous is like pissing against the wind, but don't look at the colour of my skinif what you really want to know is the colour of my notes (refering to money)earthquakes, huricanes, war, starvation, racism is in the human's pocket.MC: OSEBreath this whole breeze (this verse is just to make a rhyme),put yourslef on another one's situation, let's see how long you keep your smile, show respect to the different ones due to gender, ideology or culture,so that affection and sensitivity surrond the structure, because with intolerance you show deficit in brain and heart, today I share my voice and love against the wrong (ideas) and painand lack of inteligence and comunication.MC: NERVIOZZOYou're not racist, dude, you're a foolbecause of your racist parents you're tame!Countries stopped existing yars ago,the broder is in each one of us' skin! All of our grandchildren will be gray! How do you want people to remember you? Like that one who said thathated black people, but hid in case they bit?Coward with no attitude! If you ever face your demonsyou'll see that they're white like you!MC: SHO-HAIWhy the firetruck do you look at him like that?If then you're the first one to buy pirated DVDs from him?I wish for friendship between races, hard to achieve in this firetrucking world packed with rats!No human can be illegal,What's illegal is that some human beings have no dignity.I support the black (person), the Chinese (person), the arabic (person), even the martian,on my side welcome to my land, brother.MC: ZATUGetting pass my 30s,I wrote the one for the children, this one goes to the dadthat shouts strong language a sunday at the pubwhe the black guy he admires can't score. The match is lost from the begining, the side effect is that your son is a social problem, the future is that your daughter asks you for money to go to the cinemaand goes with the son of the guy who sold Kleenex to you. (In the south of Spain you get black people selling tissues to earn enough money to move to another place, that'swhat this last verse refers to)MC: GITANO ANTÓNDiffused reality, doind what must be done, did you see who I am? Tell me who you are, getting payed in papers, denying the pleasuresof men and woman, heroes from such challenge, to fight for their own loveso their children fon't grow up empty (with no food)new generation with principles, teaching good educationdan with no prejudices.MC: EL TITÓWhen pain covers the chest, a heart can stand all that it takes, but depending on the factsI fight for something better, for rightsand the words are taken by the wind, (this is a verse used in several songs, it doesn't have any special meaning in this song)but not these! between oceans there'sa reason and a cause that has dragged tears for centuries,I only focus on the personjudge yourself before judging anyone else.MC: XHELAZZNo, it's not the tone of skin what matters,it's the tone in which you express yourself, racists complain, the foreigner takes his hours at work, (in Spain there's this racist idea of blaming the foreigners because they take our jobs)more hours are taken by the console, and it's Japanese.Pay attention fighting for freedomis more than hating the oppressor,I ask for understanding, as bread is split up with the hands, but it's handed over with the heart.MC: CHOJINOn the one hand I feel sad that this is necessarybut on the other one I'm glad to hear my partners,I can't think of a message more simple, logical, obvious or serious:the problem comes when it isn't seen, and it stays if it's denied.I guess I don't even have to say,It's clear isn't it? Rap is against Racism. Felixx 6,646 Posted January 21, 2016 I read the lyrics first before I listened to the song, otherwise it would have been too confusing The message of this song is AMAZING!! Whoever wrote this song: well done! Seriously, it's sad that racism is still such a big problem in this world I hope that one day in the future it won't be anymore. Great song man, thanks for sharing! 1 Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) reacted to this

The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted January 22, 2016 Wow, I gotta say that this was an amazing rap video! It provided a morally good message about eliminating racism and accepting people, regardless of skin color! It's deplorable to think that racism is still such a big problem worldwide, and it sickens me how there are people that downright hate others that aren't their skin color! I find that to be disgusting, because no person should be judged by the color of their skin! But, sadly, not everyone thinks the same way, hence, the reason why there are still so many racists out there! But, as long as we carry our values and principles with us and treat everyone equally, it'll all be okay! And you know, this is the first time I've ever seen a music video with rappers from Spain! That's pretty cool! ) 1 Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) reacted to this
