The animation is so reflective, and also this is one of the first songs released by SiD after their singer got vocal surgery since his vocal cords got all messed up.My second favorite anime opening is a lesser known one, Cras Numquam Scire, by Yuuca. This is from an anime called The Mystic Archives of Dantalian. The song itself is in fact not in Japanese, I believe it is in Latin.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04jKfjT7t-8The lyrics almost sound like a lament if you look them up. Also in fact, in the last episode of the anime, the lyrics are repeated by the main character.My third favorite is Unravel, but to be honest who hasn't heard that. I have never even seen Tokyo Ghoul, and probably won't, but the opening song. It is amazing.My fourth favorite anime opening is...Welcome! DISCO kemokemoke. This opening is HILARIOUS. It is sung by the three main male voice actors, and one of them of course being my favorite, Ono Daisuke. Headphone Jack 1,147 Posted January 19, 2016 Deadman Wonderland had a pretty sweet intro and i also really enjoyed the second opening of Psycho-Pass. It's one of the most visually entertaining intros to a show I've ever seen. The beat is perplexing mainly because of the horns that come in every so often. Also the vocals are catchy and the lyrics are quite weird at first but as you watch the show you'll realise how they fit Yusuke's life perfectly. This is the Blu-Ray so the quality is bumped up but the animation for the original opening is still astounding. It shows off all of Team Yusuke too Have no idea what the lyrics are saying, but this is definitely the second best anime opening I've come across. Makes you think about Hunter x Hunter and how big Gon's adventure really was. The vocals are also really powerful and you can tell Keno put a lot of effort into the song . It fits perfectly with the whole style of HXH. Parasyte, Psycho-Pass OP2, Madoka Magica, Cowboy Bebop, TWGOK, Death Parade, FMA:B OP1, Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, Noragami, Fate/Stay Night: UBW OP2, and of course, Steins;Gate. However, I still got some to show off. My #1 pick that hasn't been listed yet has to be Baccano. One that aired last season, The Perfect Insider. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an unedited version of this opening on Youtube, so here's a cover of it. Or, you can click this link for the original. Has the added benefit of the ability to download it if you so desire. One of my favorite anime, Welcome to the NHK. Any of Durarara's openings. Seriously, I like every single one of them. I doubt you want to be bombarded with all of them, so here's my favorite one.
