Business Division 1 is a Square Enix Japan studio headed by legendary Square Enix Producer & Executive Officer, Yoshinori Kitase. Business Division 1 also includes legendary Square Enix Director & Writer, Motomu Toriyama. For more details on the studio please see here.

 

Right now the studio has 4 rumoured projects and they're:

 

FINAL FANTASY X-3 

 

New Parasite Eve title

 

The Lightning Saga – A collection featuring all 3 games from the FINAL FANTASY XIII series on PlayStation 4 & Xbox One

 

FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster – Windows PC

To be honest, the chance of one of the first two being in development right now is 80%.

 

NOTE: Some people are getting confused. The poll asks which you hope is happening most. The reality is it's highly likely 3 of these 4 are happening.

The Lightning Saga. FFXIII is an amazing game, and it is worth to be put all together in one big game, and if new stuff is added to them, that would be great

 

FFX was great, but FFX-2 was dissapointing for me, and I prefer to consider that FFX ended in the first game, so I'm not really hyped for X-3.

The Lightning Saga on PS4 would be cool too, but I just bought them on PS3 a few months ago, and haven't finished them yet (wish I had more time), so I'd prefer FFX-3

Ah okay, my bad. I would be most excited for FFX-3, and considering the topic you made about its possibility, I assume it's one of the 3 which are likely to happen

Haha. It's more like the X/X-2 HD PC port is almost certain, the XIII series coming to PS4 is likely and Toriyama's project is most likely X-3 or a new Parasite Eve.

I vote FFX-3. The reason is because if I didn't I would disappoint Sora96 here and he would rebuke me. Also, because I strongly think the evidence he has put forward adds up to a X-3. I will take it with a grain of salt until I see it in the flesh, but I strongly think we will see a FFX-3.

Not true at all. I'm gonna get super excited for whatever Motomu Toriyama's new project is, X-3 is just the most obvious and I'd instantly love it. Haha.

I voted for Parasite Eve personally. I'd actually love if BD1 remastered all PE games for PC or PS4, them make a new one. It'd be a monumental undertaking for them, but so is FFVII Remaster.

They won't and can't. They didn't make those games. The guy who directed the first one is the head of BD9 and the sequel was made by the Osaka studio. And VII is a remake not remaster.

Lol. No. They aren't remaking the first one nor the second. To remake the first one you need Tokita and he is too busy with his mobile games. To remake the second you need the Osaka studio but they're making KH3. Square Enix aren't wasting their #1 studio on just remakes either.

If not for that stupid Audio-Drama, I would want the Lightning Saga. With all the DLC of course. I love the Lightning Saga.But I need a X-3 to drown out the Audio-Drama. I just try to pretend it doesn't exist until X-3 comes out...

Hope Square Enix doesn't Koei Tecmo the PC Version which means DON'T TIE THE FRAMERATE TO THE GODDAMN PHYSICS, I'd rather not have the game run at speeds only Quicksilver can play them at thank you

How good are they at porting because I don't want a Toukiden Kiwami on my hands, they better 1. port the PS4 version, 2. add SLI/CrossFire Support, 3. Make it accessible for mouse and keyboard users, 4. have scalable graphics options(4K, 1440p, 1080p, Custom, Low, Med, High, Ultra textures), make sure it runs at 60+ FPS, if not at least make it unlockable, to where it doesn't break the game

Well they did the PS4 remaster themselves. Haha. Of course they'd port the PS4 version. 60+ you aren't getting that. LOL. Square Enix does not care about frame rate. XV's only going to be 30. Look at Type-0 HD on PC. Only 30. What you will get with X/X-2 HD. I have no idea what SLI/CrossFire is. They usually do have keyboard support fine. Graphic options and resolution options will be limited, don't expect too much.
