UPDATE: I just found out that this was never pitched to Disney in the first place as you have to work internally in the company to green-lit an idea... and neither creators had. Firaga 5,947 Posted January 6, 2016 (edited) Disney already makes a shitload of money marketing all of these characters individually. I don't think this is really an error on their part. Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted January 6, 2016 Damn, they literally have EVERYONE in it! If only Kairi was in it too ^^' No matter, I think it looked awesome! I'm very sad that this is a scrapped project. It would've been great. Perhaps in the future they'll pick it back up again.
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted January 6, 2016 It would've be kinda interesting to see all the different characters in one film, but a lot of it would make zero sense timewise: Aurora was alive in roughly Medieval Times, while Meg was Ancient Greece, with Mulan being Imperial China, and Elsa being 1500's Norway. How in holy hell do all of those timelines cross into one?

Disney has never made an attempts to put the princesses in the same timelines outside of House of Mouse, so the short would've been confusing.

They all live in the same house. Of course, it's just a comic made by someone who works (i think, not sure) for Disney. Or least asked for permission. KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted January 7, 2016 Wow, I didn't even know they would make a film with all the princesses (no we are not talking about the ones of heart). What do you know?

How in holy hell do all of those timelines cross into one? Actually, the reason as to why it was cancelled was for two primary reasons: 1) The hand drawn animation department for Disney Animation shut down, and because of this, they decided not to actually go through with the idea. 2) The two directors snaked on each other. They had creative and personal differences and those differences got the better of their camaraderie. It's not out of the realm of possibilities for this idea to be revived in Disney's Paperman/Feast animation style.

In layman terms: this was nothing more than fan-fiction, but by god, this looks so believable!
