Nirvana Chronicles: Awakening to Dawn (Role-Play(GOLD GENESIS))

"Tch," Lance let out before attempting to escape Mark's reversal. He quickly pointed the conjured sword downwards, turning it into a coiled spring that propelled him upward towards the sky. However, he had been cut a bit because the reversal was unexpected and fast. "You never make it easy for me huh?" Lance shouted from the sky. He raised one hand upwards. "Darkness Materialization: Black Hammer!" Lance shouted. He dropped his sword and held a conjured black warhammer, just about doubled in size compared to a regular warhammer. "Try and reverse this one!" Lance shouted, crashing the hammer down at Mark while he was in the air himself.

Mark, already guessing what would happen due to Lance's shouting, took a large sidestep to the side. Mark then immediately fired a blank at Lance. "Y'know Lance, you really shouldn't announce what you intend on doing." Mark spoke in a calm matter, much differently than how he would speak in casual conversations. "You shouldn't make it so easy for your opponent to predict what you intend on doing in a fight."

(Sorry guys! Today was rather hectic.. College life...)

Outer Castle Walls

--------------------------

Red dodged an incoming punch from one of the knights, returning it with one of her own, knocking him upwards. "Foxfire Tail Swipe!" Red said, summoning a tail made of fire. She turned around and whacked the knight upwards. Yellow trapped a couple of knights in materialized boxes of light. He compressed the boxes a little and exploded them, knocking the soldiers out. "Well, that was quick," Red sighed. They had left a clear trail of corpses. And with a giant hole in the walls of Ur, the three had almost completed their "Emergency" mission. Blue hopped up the giant walls to meet the three. "Looks like we can keep moving on," Blue said as he took off his cloak. Red did the same. "This was rather too easy I'd say," Yellow replied.

Suddenly, the three came faced with a fireball. "I got this," Red notions the other two to stay back. Red summoned a fireball of her own. However, this one stuck to her hand. The fireball made contact with Red's, dissipating and synchronizing into Red's fireball. "Fire has no effect on me. My foxfire can also consume other pure forms of fire," Red said. She nodded at the other two. Blue and Yellow nodded back and went on ahead, leaving Red and Viola alone. "Who are you, wizard?" Red asked her before the fight began.

(I know who called dibs on Red.. Don't worry, you will fight Red. This is a "Filler" trust me. :))

Training Grounds

-------------------------

"Heh, looks like ya got me!" Lance landed and shrugged. He couldn't win them all. "Though, had it been real," Lance began to say as he pointed to the magic-filled wooden sword stuck in the ground that he had dropped earlier in the fight. He had purposely struck the hammer in the direction he wanted Mark to dodge to get him closer to the sword. "You know we've studied what happens to an item when overloads in mana," Lance smiled. He was referring to their "Magical Science and Theories" class. The two both knew that the item would explode. "It would've been a double KO, haha," Lance laughed.

-Alexander Cruz - As the swords clashed Alexander broke out of the clash by throwing his arms upwards, alongside the greatsword it was bound to at least knock Aria back.He had to admit, small swords had a better advantage at parrying than a greatsword, while a greatsword has great blocking potential, it wasn't the same as parrying. "So, do you have any magic?" Alexander asked as he jumped back after breaking out of the clash, disappearing in the blink of an eye with usage of void magic, quickly reapearing behind Aria with a horizontal swing, aimed at her torso from.

The wooden sword hit Aria, throwing her to the ground."Surprisingly not really." She admitted, running the wooden sword against the dirt for some cover as she dart over to Alexander, aiming towards his left side.(Sorry short post.)

This day continued to get worse. This one was impervious to fiiiiiire. She took a deep breath, and held her wand steady again. "Viola. And you?" She questioned him, hoping to stall for as much time as she could while she figured out what exactly she could do. She wasn't defenseless without her flames, but her life was made far more difficult than would be otherwise. "And why are you doing this?"

Mark snickered a bit, realizing that it would have been a fatal flaw on his part, but... "Only with somebody stupid like you," Mark responded while finishing his own thought. "You should know better than to do that, though. The only way a move like that would be smart is if you were close to dying, anyways." Mark sighed a bit, shaking his head a bit. "Regardless, you fought well, Lance. Just as well as all the other times we fight. Whether that's good for the sake of being good or bad for lack of improvement, that's for you to judge. Or, well, the teacher."

When the boy opened his eyes, he realized a pair of breasts were pressed against his arm. He just stared at the ceiling, silent for exactly twenty three seconds.

"I told you to wear clothing."

A small whining noise emenated from the owner of said breasts. "But this is more comfy!"

Kobyashi reached over and flicked the girl's forehead, not once looking away. He sat up after that, the sheets falling around his waist. The nightshirt he wore covered the only scar he had, but the girl beside him knew it well...or, more accurately, the feminine magical construct he himself had created, knew. He called her Sakurako Ichinose, and while she was in reality made through magical means, a sort of golem, or doll...Kobyashi treated her as human. She felt human, acted human, and fought to prove her life was for real.

If only she would wear clothes when invading his bed, then he'd consider his experiment a success. Until then...it was a successful work in progress.

Sakurako was already pulling her gown on as she got out. He reached out and activated the magic shower - he didn't care for baths, and it was quicker in the end. Undressing and stepping in, he held a hand out behind him.

"No."

Sakurako pouted and left. Finally with peace, quiet, and warm water, he began to think. He was already late to school, but he did not need the Academy. He created his Amenonuhoko, or, for short, Amenon Guns. His opus of that was currently sitting by his coat ten feet away, while his Tonbikiri opus was probably eating his cake. Like. Always.

Cleaned and finally dressed in his trademark white and mint coat, he stepped out to find Sakurako ate his cake. Not at all annoyed, he pulled out the backup cake from the fridge and handed it to her as well, before starting a fire. He was going to make breakfast.

Pancakes. Pancakes would do.

And so, he cooked, not really caring about the Academy. He'd pass his Page test without problems. His personal training times would suffice well enough.

(Here we go :D)

This day continued to get worse. This one was impervious to fiiiiiire. She took a deep breath, and held her wand steady again. "Viola. And you?" She questioned him, hoping to stall for as much time as she could while she figured out what exactly she could do. She wasn't defenseless without her flames, but her life was made far more difficult than would be otherwise. "And why are you doing this?"

(Red is a girl xD)

"Don't worry about it," Red snapped back. She then pulled out a pocket watch and checked the time. "Five minutes," Red whispered to herself. "I'll say this much: This kingdom will be destroyed soon.. VERY soon!" With that, Red dashed away, using fire to ignite and boost her speed with every step.

"Well I did get shot," Lance mumbled back. He then looked up towards the sky. "Heya Mark.. Don't you think this war has gone on for too long? I mean.. peace exists in this world... right?" Lance asked him. The reason for him being at the academy was for Lance to become stronger and one day, stop the war. But what if, just what if, peace cannot be attainable in this world? From as far as the history books date back in Ur, war has always been imminent in the world.

In the middle of his thinking, Lance heard an explosion from somewhere near the training ground. Lance quickly turned in the direction of the explosion. Smoke rose from the main castle with a huge chunk of debris falling into the town. "Emergency Evacuation! Everyone follow me!" Sir Vance shouted. The town and the many crowds of people who were once shopping so calmly, were now rioting the kingdom in panic. For the first time since Lance has been here, Ur has been in complete chaos. However, he didn't want to evacuate with the others. He wanted to see what was going on.

Marcus had his fun with several books whilst he found the time to sneak about the library. He managed this by asking a bird where people sit for long periods of time silently. It was quite effective and with a little gymnastic know-how he got in precisely where he intended. He did show his older brother beforehand that he was about to venture inside and a reluctant nod was the reply he received. It was strange how everything was devoid of information about the spring they were looking for. Then suddenly debris began to fall around town. To this he quickly got to the window and whistled in a strange manner.  In mere moments a gryphon swooped down from high altitude and past the window where he had entered and awaited for him to mount. He did si in a jump out the window.

"C'mon we have to find Shaun."

Back in the training grounds Shaun was failing miserably at his intended role of being unnoticed. Lucky for him or rather unlucky for UR the catastrophe started. Immediately he gazed around his eyes searching for his brother and yet there was no sign. He was unsure whether the signs earlier meant that his brother went into the city or into the school. He assumed the former and began rushing out. As there was a crowd in front he was forced to use his physiomancy to make a massive leap scaling quite literally the whole crowd. His pace grew as did his confusion as he shouted:"Marcus! Marcus!"

Aria imminently stopped, looking over in the direction of the main castle.

"Alexander, get moving. I'm a reaper, I live by strict rules." She dropped the wooden sword, rushing over to her rapier sheath. She unsheathed it, pulling a black hooded cloak out from her bag as well.

Aria started running towards the castle, but stopped.

"Lance, everything okay?" Aria asked.

She noticed that he was holding back from going with the others, and she really shouldn't be holding back too.

Alexander stopped as he heard the explosions, as Aria soon followed, and mentioned her being a reaper, something which confused him at first, but he didn't pay much attention to it, hurrying to his greatsword, and putting on his hat and face cover from his attire, he went outside with the others.

He stopped next to Lance and Aria and whoever else was nearby, "An attack? now? the kingdom's scouts failed their duties?" Alexander asked as he held his greatsword on his shoulders.

"Maybe, but we've gotta check it out!" Lance replied. He noticed a strange figure leap towards the city, passing the crowd of people in one action. Could he be part of what's going on maybe? Lance thought to himself. He shook his head. Now isn't the time to be making speculations. He wanted to see what was going on exactly in the kingdom. He turned to his left and right sides to see Aria and Alexander. "I'm not sure what's going on, but I intend to find out," Lance said. He looked around to see that the Sir Vance had left them, which meant they were free for the time being. "Come on if you want guys! I'm headed to the armory," Lance started running towards the castle. If it was an attack, then he would have to be prepared  - and a wooden sword wouldn't cut it.

Blue and Yellow

-----------------------

Huge debris chunks descended from the castle to the city below, making the people panic. Blue and Yellow could be seen from atop a roof. "You missed," Yellow critiqued Blue's attempted assault on the castle. "Hey! It isn't easy to fire a long-ranged concentrated bolt of fire accurately!" Blue shouted in his defense. Blue did have a point. When it came to firing a concentrated shot with a "free-willed" substance, accuracy is almost always an issue. Yellow sighed. Instead of doing this quietly, they just ended up causing a huge uproar in the city. "Hey! Sorry I'm late," Red dashed to the other side of Yellow. "Red how much time left?" Yellow asked her. Red checked her watch. "Four minutes and thirty seconds," Red replied. Yellow sighed.

"Stand back you two. I'll get what we came here for. Just make more of a scene in town," Yellow told the two. Blue and Red saluted, dispersing in their separate ways.

Yellow headed for the armory.

Mark, having been in shock after what's just been happening, finally snapped out of it when Lance made a dash to the castle. "H-hey! Lance!" Mark began following Lance, eventually catching up with him. "Lance, are you sure about this? We're probably going to get into some sorta fight. Are you sure you ready for that?" Mark's face was part anxious, and part worried. Though whether or not Lance was going to fight, Mark was willing to fight.

The big bad's entrance:

With the army assaulting the kingdom of Ur Edren Lorven sat high and mighty on a throne he had several slaves carry. Small elite groups were mobilized throughout the city and his was the task to coordinate them. Using flocks of ravens his messages flew to the groups in giving the orders. His main objective here was not conquest however but more on the lines of assassination. Some of the parties had invaded only to retreat moments afterwards and some just vanished into the crowd.

He gave a smirk at his own plan and looked at one of his pets.

"Endymion ... So it seems... The malediction will eventually spread and these worms will be crushed by the onslaught. So do not worry my dear Endymion you will drink your fill." He said all that to one of his pets as he were conversing with it. The one he spoke with now in particular was marked with a small golden chain on it's claw. He raised a hand for the servants to drop his throne but as they did so several ravens grabbed ropes attached to it and began lifting. Soon it took flight and was soaring and obscured in a flock of his pets who obediently led their master over the walls so that he may personally oversee the situation.

"Darkness fills your eyes and dulls your senses. Before you I am but a nameless shadow." he said to no one in particular and yet held a satisfied grin as he observed all the things that took place below him. He could feel the impatience of his flock and their desire for blood would soon be sated.

(What army? It's just 3 people)

(It said several small groups most covert and doing sabotage. It's actually a pretty common tactic to use a small group as a diversion whilst spies slip in among the confusion.)

(Alright let's continue!)

Blue and Red

-----------------

Blue and Red continued to cause a wreck in town, distracting the local knights policing the area from Yellow's assault on the actual castle. Blue avoided a knights blade that was thrust at him, countering with a judo flip and punch to the knight's stomach with an flame enhanced fist. "You think we'll make it out here alive?" Blue asked Red who was also just finishing off a couple of soldiers as well. "Who knows? It's for the good of the kingdom.... right?" Red replied. The two paused for a minute in the confusion. "Yeah.. Justice Above All Else," Blue replied. The two looked at each other and nodded. Another explosion occurred in the distance. It wasn't in the direction that Yellow was headed. Was there another attack? Red thought to herself. She shook her head. Now wasn't the time to be making speculations. The two nodded to each other and both took off in the direction of the academy.

Lance

----------------

Lance paused in his tracks to think about Mark's words. He clenched his fists. "All my life, I've been training.. But not once have I fought using what I know to help people," Lance tensed up. "Now my only home is in siege. If I won't do anything, I don't think I can live with myself," Lance replied. With that, he begun to take off. "Follow me if you all feel the same. We're going to the armory."

(Don't worry. It changes nothing plot wise. it's basically just an excuse to use for the big bad to know what's going on.)

Shaun

Shaun was just about to continue his rush when he heard someone mention an armory. He controled himself and threw away the spear he had been holding. He noticed some of the were already following. Best thing he could do is hope Marcus won't get hurt suck it up and act like he belonged there ... How hard could it be? Somehow he ended up being the third to follow right after Mark.

Marcus and Edren

"Easy there boy easy. he said to the griffon he was riding and kept taking sharp turns through the city streets flying as low as he could. He was worried about archers or anything that could strike him from the sky but was soon distracted by a very unusual raven.

"Well this looks bad." He said to himself making his mount slightly uneasy. A few pats on the head managed to calm it down however and he gained just a little altitude to see what was happening in the sky. In the middle of everything he saw a dense concentration of the black feathered birds flying in circles around something. Even through the mass of avians he felt a a dark gaze directed at him and for some reason he heard all the Ravens scream

"Master hungers master thirsts. Will his wrath befall you first?" As he understood that he made the griffon take a dive and began makind distance between him and the presence.

Alexander Crus -

"How did this happen in the first place?" Alex asked still surprised at the panic this whole thing caused, to both civilians and many students too. He did not wait for Lance to finish his talk with Mark, and by the time Lance told everyone that he was heading for the armory, Alexander was already a good few meters ahead of him, "Way ahead of you Lance. We don't have time to stand around, lets go." he said as he started heading to the armory.

(*throws salt on the wounds of the roleplay*)

Aria already knew there were people dying, as her skin was starting to fade color. This happened when she was transitioning into a real "battle", or "soul-capturing" mission. Her skin would fade and she would gain the abilities of a fully experienced Grim Reaper.

Aria was not a fully-grown reaper. She was practically still in training.

Before every reaper collects souls, they transition to a more dead look. Aria didn't exactly know why this happened, but the Society she was in said it was something having to do with the impact of psychically releasing the souls.

It was weird and scientific and Aria didn't really care about the technical parts.

"Lance, I can't waste my time. I'll catch up with you guys when you get on the field." Aria called out to Lance.

Her battle gear was on, even though it wasn't much, and due to the Reaper Transition, her skin and eyes were flushed, her hair longer and her dress black in color now. She pulled on her cloak hood, and looked at Lance one last time before running off to the battle field, joining the few other Reapers collecting souls.

Aria could not let her guard down however, even though she was a reaper, she still could be targeted. She slowly ascended into the bounty of chaos, stopping along the way to bodies of adults and guards impacted by debris that were killed, Aria cutting them with her rapier.

The rapier would glow faintly a grey color before the glow faded into Aria, absorbing the soul of the dead body.

((((TIM DON'T KILL ME. I NEEDED TO DO SOMETHIN.

Here is Aria's...not complete Reaper form. Because she is still not a fully fledged Reaper yet. And sorry if I seem out of character, I haven't roleplayed as her in a while. http://i1321.photobucket.com/albums/u544/SodomIngaCV105/ACTTUALL_zpsdmwv6qlc.jpg )))))

(I thought this RP would die.. Well guess I was wrong! :D)

Lance

---------

Lance nodded at Alex, who was already on his way. He started running after Alex, taking one last look at Aria who took off in the opposite direction. He did not stop to look at the corpses of innocent people. Now wasn't the time to mourn. He needed to get to the armory in order to be more effective in this battlefield.

"Not so fast! Where do you think you're going?" Someone shouted from above the group. A spark of fire ignited the ground in front of the group, creating a giant firewall obstructing the path to the castle. Red and Blue jumped in front of the group. "Blue..." Red whispered. "Yeah. I know. These guys are different from the guards here," Blue whispered back, folding his arms. It was as if the noise and chaos around didn't exist for a moment as they stared the group down. "You. Shall. Not. Pass here!" Blue shouted a them.
