Speaking of Evil light,we have yet to ever see such a thing in the series which kinda makes it feel bias as if everything should revolve around the generic premise of light being always the force of good and darkness being always the force of evil

Just because darkness isn't necessarily evil, doesn't mean it's something to mess around with (and it's much more likely to draw evil users due to its inherently dangerous nature). It took Riku nearly two years to come to terms with his issues regarding the dark, and most simply don't want to take that risk.

Also, it's a Disney game, of course the standard light-good/dark-bad dichotomy is going to be dominant.

How so? They were trained under the same master right?

Probably, but that hasn't been confirmed, but we can probably assume. The opening scene is about the conversation between Xehanort and Eraqus. No Yen Sid there because Nomura did not say he would be.

Yeah it's Disney, were Clayton was hanged in Tarzan, Mufasa got brutally murdered by Scar,Frollo doing an entire song on his lust for Esmeralda and all the messed up shit he did in Hunchback of Notre Dome..................NOT DARK AT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALL

Anywho my point is I want equal representation.Right now it's just generic good and evil and once Xehanort is kapoof Light will be dominant and it'll be happily ever after...........what I want after KH3 is that the new enemy would use the power of light for a change

Light has it;s own dangerous nature too just as much as darkness. If darkness represents chaos and too much anarchy then Light also, when there is too much of it,can represent an over-abundance of authority and Law as in the case of Eraqus where if there is the slightest bit of darkness in your heart that the denizens of light notice then you're screwed basically

I can mention an example from a game where an over abundance of one of the two can possibly lead the world into destruction in their own way

Even if he doesn't use a keyblade, I want to see some rektfast with Yen Sid's sorcery. I think it kind of gets forgotten that he's something of a tank.

1st paragraph: what? And if you're implying I thought "Disney is childish", no, it was "Disney likes classical themes and is more likely to use those".

2nd: then go write a letter to the developers or something, though I doubt you're going to be successful.

3rd and 4th: this series has already mentioned the balance thing several times, but the classic dichotomy tends to prevail whenever we're talking about a Disney-influenced product (why do people keep ignoring the bold). Eraqus still had good intentions at his core, even if his fanaticism about it was bad. You can't say the same for Xehanort, or most darkness users (Riku being the exception, not the rule). Whatever games you're thinking of may have their own take on it, but I'm not discussing those, I'm discussing KH only.

1st paragraph is a respnd to you that Disney is the reason everything is toned down

2nd:This is kind of a rude response. What I've said is just like any form of criticism and I have the right to say it without you making snarky remarks like this

3rd and 4th:You keep saying Disney-influenced product, yet in the overall scheme of the plot Disney worlds after KH2 have been just filler with only the 7 princesses and anyone related to Mickey and his crew being relevant........the game barely uses neither of it's two source material(Disney and FF) to their potential and as the games went by Nomura forgot that this is a crossover in the first place and now Disney worlds inhabitants and FF characters are relegated to irrelevant NPCs and cameo statuses.

Also, not really, what Xehanort had in mind isn't necessarily wrong(about how Light took over and the balance was shaken)it's just the way he went with it is so extreme just the same as Eraqus. You can't tell me with a straight face that what Eraqus did in BBS was good in any way possible

1st: See edit to my first sentence.

2nd: I meant what I said. No-one's stopping you from wanting such a thing, but I doubt the series is going to take such a direction any time soon.

3rd and 4th: I said influenced, not Disney-dominant (and I'm the last person you'll see wanting more Disney intervention than is already there for this series). Disney likes using all sorts of classical themes in their stories (again, the aforementioned light/dark dichotomy, and there are reasons why that's stuck so long in the public consciousness), so it's natural to see such themes in KH.

I never said Eraqus's behaviour was excusable, but his core beliefs (wanting to prevent the destruction of existence) were certainly better than Xehanort's. If Xehanort ever had a genuine wish for what he perceives as balance, it has long since been corrupted, because his actions throughout the series only show the behaviour of someone willing to destroy everything for his own selfish desires.

Maybe he'll be like Yoda. We all know him as the wise man who doesn't fight but instead quietly sits behind the scenes and stragizes, trying to predict the opponent's next move and giving advice to those who are fighting. Then when we least expect it, probably in a flashback, he'll wip out his keyblade and show everyone that he can kick butt with it.

I would really love it if we got to see a young version of Master Yen Sid!  You don't know how happy that'd make me!  Seeing him interacting with Young Xehanort and Young Eraqus would definitely be a sight to see! :D

And also, I've been having a feeling in my gut that there's going to be at least one moment in Kingdom Hearts III where Yen Sid goes Master Yoda on the Seekers Of Darkness!  It'd be badass if that happened! :D

But yeah, we really don't know what'll happen to Yen Sid in Kingdom Hearts III, but all I know is, whatever his role, he'll be awesome! :D
