Dragon Ball GT Re: A New Grand Tour (1x1 with Griewer)

~At night~

 

In the ship, everybody was in there beds sleeping, peacefully knowing that they were now on track. All except for the red tailed boy who was sleeping next to Chie's bed. He opened one eye, making sure that Chie was asleep, then slowly slid out of his bed. He tip toes through the snoring sounds around him, trying as best as he could not to make a sound. He then stopped in front of wooden stairs, which he slowly climbed on. Yuki cautiously looked around with each step took up, until finally making it to the top, he whispered: "Pan? Cousin Pan? Are you awake?"

It was night...or day who knows. They were in the space and Pan did her best to fall asleep but her eyes just kept opening again and again and she couldn't help but spin and turn, not finding the perfect way to sleep. She tried concentrating on her breathing, but the snooring and snoozing kept her coming out of it every time. She was about to give up, when she heard a soft movement. She stayed still, listening to the sounds. Then came Yuki's low voice.

"Yeah, I am." she whispered back and turned towards where she suspected the boy to be. "What are you doing? Why aren't you in bed?

Yuki silently snickered. This was coming together perfectly. "Hurry and put your clothes. Meet me at the Gravity Room. I've got surprised." He said with a wink. He then slowly stepped downstairs and tip-toed once again through the sleeping allies. He then slowly tip-toed towards the door and looked back at Pan. "See you there!" He whispered before tip-toeing out of the room.

Pan sighed and rolled her eyes. To the gravity room... really. She had a bad feeling about this and she really hoped it won't turn out to be what she was expecting. She sat up, put some clothes on and followed the boy towards the room. While she was moving towards the gravity room a third pair of eyes followed her and Yuki's movement. It was Lukai. She was a light sleeper so she woke when she heard the movements. She didn't do anything though, merely watching as they entered the gravity room.

"So? What did you want to show?" Pan asked the boy.

Yuki snickered once more and jumped up to press the button to open the door. He then ran inside and stopped with his back facing Pan. Yuki's head then looked down, facing his power medal, Kyusei. "Alright Kyusei. Bring it out." He whispered to him.

 

Are you sure Son Yuki? Is she really the one you want to do this to? Kyusei asked back.

 

"Uh huh. I know she can pull it off. Trust me, she's got power." Yuki said while grinning. Kyusei did not say anything after this response. A flash of light surrounded the medal and Yuki was then holding a cup of water. He nodded and then turned around to look at Pan. "Here you go. Try and drink this." He said with a smile.

"What is inside of it?" Pan looked at Yuki trying to see through the boy's scheme. "I hope you're not trying to pull anything smart or I'll promise to throw you and then you can swim back to earth!" She looked the cup and examined the drink inside. "This looks shady. You drink it."

Yuki shook his head no. "Trust me cousin. You'll feel a WHOLE lot better after drinking this. I know I did! Heh heh heh!" Yuki said. He then put his hands behind his head, anxiously waiting for Pan to drink the water.

 

And you'll be a whole lot stronger too. He thought.

"I don't like that grin of yours" she said still not one hundred percent sure whether it was honestly some gift of good faith or another one of Yuki's mischieves. In the end though she decided to take the mug from his hand. She hesitated and looked at the dark liquid with a hesitant look on her face. What could that have been? It wasn't some ordinary drink that was for sure. What should she expect? A Sour, sweet, salty or something entirely different? She gulped and took a last look at Yuki before she raised the mug. She closed her eyes and gulped.

 

At first it was nothing to be worried off. It was practically tasteless and as it washed through her mouth it left no stench or taste behind, like simple water. Then it reached her inside and slowly she felt something warm. It was tickling her from inside, a nice feeling. But it was soon all over. The tickle and warm left and in their stead a new feeling unveiled itself. Pain. A sharp nerve-wrecking pain that felt unlike anything she has experienced before.

Pan fell on her knees and grabbed her chest, shaking wildly. It took her a good five seconds but she couldn't hold it inside anymore. She yanked her head back, opened her mouth and released a deafening shriek that shook not only the room, but the whole spacecraft.

 

Lukai was already up, but she flinched when she heard Pan's voice.

Damn it Yuki what are doing?! She thought. She got up and looked at the others who were awakened by the noise. Trunks and Goten rushed to see what the source of the commotion was.

Pan in the same time fell on the ground, still in torture because of the mysterious liquid and started rolling back and forth on the floor, trying to fight the pain occasionally letting out another shriek. Her expression mirrored her pain and the way she looked at Yuki when she could... she wanted to kill him. Kill her relative from the future with all her heart.

Yuki's relaxed, laid-back expression soon turned into a very serious one. He kneeled down while Pan was trying to fight the poison. "Come on Pan! I know you can do it. You have to fight it! You want to become stronger, don't you? Stronger than Trunks, stronger than my dad, stronger than Grandpa Goku, stronger than even Uncle Gohan! I know you have that kind of strength inside you. I'm aware that you might want to kill me for doing this, but I'm doing it for a reason! Trust me Pan! I want you to become stronger!" He said, trying to help her. He was aware of this effect all along. He knew that she would feel like this.

 

Son Goku opened his eyes almost immediately not to the scream, but to something he sensed. A power level...One that was increasing to high extensions. He then sat up and looked towards the door. "This energy..." He quickly got out of bed, jumped out and ran after Trunks and Goten. "Do you two feel that?" He said to them. "Something's definitely happening. This power level keeps going up!"

Pan tried to stand up, but even to get on her knees... she needed far more strength than she could've mustered at that very moment. The cries ands shrieks became more frequent and longer and soon before long the silent gaps disappeared from between two and it became one loud deathcry. Pan using every last bit of her power pushed herself from the ground, looked at Yuki once more and suddenly started ramming her own head into the floor again and again... trying to supress one pain with another, or trying to clear her mind. Even she couldn't tell. She couldn't even think. The whole world around her ceased to exist. there was only the pain... and the pain was growing. And while she was at the end of her endurance a voice in her head spoke to her:

Shut down your mind child; Let go of the outside world. Discard your body, your weakness. Shrink yourself into a small glimpse of existence... become no more than a thought. If you push away everything and retain nothing the pain will go away. Herein lies the truest harmony. There is NOTHING.

 

And suddenly from one moment to another, Pan went silent and her hands gave in. She fell on the ground and moved no more. Outside, Trunks and Goten were about to break into the room yelling loudly at this point.

Yuki had a look of worry. He wasn't sensing any of Pan's power at the moment...

Was she...Did he just...

"P-Pan? Pan!" He quickly ran to her, putting his hands on her and shook her, trying to wake her up. "Pan! Pan are you alright!? PAN!"

Did I....Did I screw up this badly...? A tear started to form in his eye. "P-Pan....If you wake up...Please tell me how much you really hate me right now...I'm sorry..." That tear then rolled down from his eye to his left cheek, travelling down off his face and dropped to the ground.

Where... am I? She thought. She couldn't see since she had no eyes and she couldn't ask the question since she had no mouth. She wanted to reach out and touch around or listen to the voices of her surrounding but she had no arms or ears to do either. There was nothing but she felt no pain. It was a serene solitude an eternal perhaps.

"Child... you've done as I said. Well done." It was a voice. She didn't hear it, but rather felt its presence. Like if there was somebody around her, surrounding her, sharing her lonelyness.

Who are you? the thought echoed in the mind.

"Me? I am... the Darkness."

Darkness? Are you... death? Have you come to tell me that-

"No, child. You've come to me. I called you and you answered." Darkness' words didn't frighten her. Here, she felt no pain no sorrow. There was nothing she felt. Nothing remained, but a single thought:

Will I die?

"Do you want to die?"

I... don't know. No, I guess.

She felt a smile. Was it her own? Was it Darkness'? In the end... it didn't matter. There was a smile and she felt warmth again.

 

"...orry..."

That half of a word was the first thing she consumed from the outside world. A boy's voice. The boy's who set her on this short, weird journey. She could've smiled or she could've yelled. But she didn't want to do either. Instead, she opened her eyes (was it the first time she used her eyes? The world never looked so pretty). Yuki was there, and around them others as well (Trunks and Goten probably managed to break the door in). They looked worried, they probably didn't realize she had opened her eyes.

She reached out and touched Yuki's chin. It was soft and warm. It felt nice after that dark, hollow chill she came back from. There she couldn't feel it but now, the memory of that place made her feel a slight unease. But whatever that was, she had time to lament on it. For now... she had to force herself to finally break the abrupt silence so she said the first thing which came to her mind.

"Yuki... you'll do extra chores for this." and smiled at the boy warmly.

Yuki couldn't help but hug Pan after worrying about her so much. "Cousin Pan! You're alive! You're alive! Hah hah hah hah!" He said with joy. "The Ultra Divine Wate actually worked!"

"Ultra Divine Water?" Son Goku's voice was then heard from inside the room. He was standing in front of the entrance. "Is that what you gave her Yuki? The Ultra Divine Water?" He said with a serious look. Yuki couldn't help but gulp at the sight of his child grandfather. He slowly nodded. "Y-Yes. I made her drink it."

Son Goku then walked and stopped in front of Pan. "How did you even get it and bring it to the ship?" He asked. "Back in my timeline, when I was younger, I got a dose of it from Korin's Tower and drank it. I also survived. Then I took a sample from there and kept it in Kyusei." Goku sighed and looked at the kids. "Pan...Yuki...

The Ultra Divine Water is a dangerous but powerful type of water. It can make a person stronger if they have the guts to do it. I myself drank it once. I barely lived." He explained. His eyes directed towards Pan. "If you didn't have any Saiyan blood in you, you could've died by just drinking it."

"And even as a partially Saiyan I could have." she nodded. She knew all too well... she barely made it back. Though it was still impossible to determine what Darkness wanted, did it try to help her or even save her? Or did it try to actually keep her there. Whatever the truth was, Pan hoped that she would never have to hear that chilly voice again.

"Yuki were you out of your mind?" Trunks said angrily. "What would you've done if she didn't make it?"

Before things could've turned more sour, Lukai gently took Yuki's hand and pulled him away from the others.

"I think it'd be better if we'd try to calm down and get some rest." She said. "Thankfully nothing happened and I'm sure there are a lot on everyones mind. Lets get back to this after a getting some well-earned rest, shall we."

And with that Lukai guided the boy out of the Gravity Room just in case.

Yuki looked at the others one more time, then looked at Lukai who was walking him out of the room. "I just wanted to make Cousin Pan stronger. I know she has a lot of power. It's just that...I think everyone looks down on her, like how everyone looked down on us when we came along." Yuki said to her.

 

Son Goku then looked back at Pan, studying her. Then he grinned. "I can already tell." He began to say. "You ain't the same after you drank that water. You've really grown in power! Don't you feel it?" He was starting to be glad Yuki did that. Why he did it, Goku had a pretty good idea. His own granddaughter was getting stronger. 20x stronger to be exact.

"I know Yuki. Your intentions were clear, but still it was kind of reckless. And you should've prepared her for what she was about to face, not to mention the others because nobody really knew what was going on." she said, smilling softly. "And nobody is looking down on anyone. They are just worried which is fine absolutely, not to mention we ARE from a different Time-Line. Anyways, try to get some sleep and maybe it'd be better if you didn't try to prank anyone for a couple of days. I'm pretty sure some of the others might need some time as well."

 

Soon the others joined them and everyone returned to their beds to get some rest. Some of them were uneasy, others felt angry or disappointed and again others instead of looking back stared forward and awaited what tomorrow would bring.

The 2 days of flying through space soon passed, with Trunks not saying a word to Yuki after what he did to Pan, only giving him glares which made him feel uneasy. Though the team acknowledged Pan's newfound strength. They trained in the gravity chamber for some time, preparing for what threats await them. And now, they would soon reach there destination...

 

"Gill-Gill! Dragon Ball Detected! Dragon Ball Detected!" Gill said outloud when approaching a mostly grassy planet, with a small blue line in the middle. Chie, Kona, Yuki, and Son Goku ran into the command room and quickly got into their seats. "We here already? Dang. They ain't kidding around about time-flyin', ya know?" Kona commented. "Next Dragon Ball here we come!" Chie said cheerfully.

"Everyone get ready! We'll be landing in a few minutes!" Trunks said. The son of Bulma during their time in space pretty much took control over the ship and the crew becoming some sort of leader figure (since Son Goku really didn't do anything besides training-eating-sleeping all the time) giving out orders, trying to maintain a sort of organized journey. He was more siff than Goten remembered, but he had to agree that they indeed needed Trunks to take on this more serious approach with all the "kids" around.

Pan became somewhat distant, and much quieter. Her power increased considerably that was out of the question, but it seemed that her unfortunate meeting with Darkness had aken a toll on her spirit as well. She spoke much less and thought a lot more. This worried some, while others took it as a natural behaviour after such a close encounter with death. All in all the happy ship quickly became much less bright and shinny, though it still was a rather happy journey.

"Here we are," Trunks said. "Get ready people! The Dragon Ball hunt begins anew!"

And soon the ship took off into the next planet that held the next Dragon Ball.

 

-Conflict on Planet Mammalia! The Endless Bickering of Strong Sisters!-

 

The ship entered the blue, clear sky. Clouds traveled through the distant air. The surface became more visible as green grass appeared like it was prepared for the ship's landing. "That looks like a good spot to land." Chie said, pointing at the grassy surface. There seemed to be a river close by that separate one land from another, though it looked that way from above. "I wonder what kind of people we'll see! Plus, I've got Senzu Beans in case we run into any trouble." Yuki said outloud.

"Senzu Beans? Sheesh, Monkey Boy! You come with all kinds of things, ya know?" Kona said. Yuki replied with a chuckled. "I always bring some Senzu Beans when I'm going somewhere. You never know what'll happen next." He said.

Trunks looked around carefully, making sure to land in a safe spot so nothing would happen to their ship accindetally. While he was busy landing, the others stayed in their chairs talking to each other, he only listened to them. He wanted to send a remark when Yuki mentioned the Senzu Beans but decided against it in the end. Instead he remained silent while taking care of the landing.

 

One the ship landed, Pan unfastened the seatbelt and left the cabin. She was the first to leave the shuttle. As she stepped onto the ground of this planet, she took a deep breath and looked around curiously.

Chie and Yuki looked at Pan curiously as she left the ship. They wondered why she wanted to get off so quickly. But nonetheless, they unfastened their own seatbelts and followed her, along with the others tailing along.

As the group got out, they would find that this place was similar to Earth. There was grass everywhere and straight ahead were trees with green leaves and brown bark. Behind them is a large river that was acting like a natural barrier that separated the land they were standing on from another side of land where far away, objects seeming to be house like could be seen.

"Ahh...Makes me feel like I'm on Earth again!" Chie exclaimed, smelling the air. The atmosphere felt nice to her. Gill was the last come out, flying into Chie's arms. "Hey look!" Yuki jumped up and pointed to where he saw the village, which was over the river. "That looks like some people live there. It looks a town or something." Yuki said, still in there. "I wonder what kind of food they have." Son Goku said.

"I'd rather just look for the Dragon Ball and leave as soon as possible." Trunks said. "Last time we contacted the locals they tried shooting us."

"But there's a chance that someone inside the village will have the Dragon Ball, no?" Goten asked the other boy.

Trunks shrugged. "I'm not sure about that. At any rate we had lunch not that long ago. For now lets keep focusing on the Dragon Ball. We still have time to try to local cuisine after finding it."

"Or we could split up as well." Lukai said with a beaming smile.

"Hey uh, hate to put a dent in ya'll's plans," Kona began to say. "But Monkey Boy, Hungry Hippo, and Ms. Pink are already goin' their own way, ya know?" She pointed the direction of the river, where Son Yuki, Goku, and Chie were flying over the river and heading to the village. "Guess we should follow them. Maybe some folks 'round here knows about the Dragon Ball." She said to Trunks. In a puff of smoke, Kona transformed into a bat, with her arms turning into the wings. "I'll meet ya over there." She said before flying after them. Kona didn't like being left behind, no matter who told her to. She would do as she pleases, which is to follow the biggest squad.

Lukai and Pan followed the others silently.

Trunks clenched his teeth and fists and instead of following them arguing or anything he simply let out an angry sigh.

"What now?" Goten looked at him, trying to smile, which didn't amuse Trunks one bit.

"Go after them. I stay here." He said shaking his head.

"Are you sure?"

"Someone needs to stay here in case another Don Kia appears trying to salvage the ship."

Goten considered his words and nodded. "Alright then. I'll go after them."

"Good, and Goten." Trunks said suddenly.

"Hm?" The two boys looked at each other. Trunks tried to avoid the others' gaze but Goten stepped beside him and put a hand on his shoulder. "What's wrong?"

"I don't want you to misunderstand me. I don't blame you or anything for what happened back there... but you really should keep your son in line."

"My...son?"

"Son Yuki" Trunks said with a serious look. "There was a reason why mother and the others didn't want them on the plane and seeing how reckless the boy is, I'm starting to have concerns."

"I understand your concern, but even if he is my kid... that's-"

"I don't ask you to start scolding him or anything. But I'm sure Yuki will listen to you...and like it or not we will need to use this to our advantage." Trunks said and without anything more to add he returned to the ship. Goten stood there for a few more seconds, and after that went ofter the others.

Everyone (except for Trunks) flew to the village to see who or what was there. They soon landed, getting fully close up view of the place. The houses were made of wood and straw, a fountain producing blue sparkling water was in the middle of the village. So far, it looked normal, but what was very interesting to the kids were the race. "Woah...I don't believe it..." Son Yuki was in amazement. There were people on this planet. Not ordinary people. They all had different skin colors from red to yellow to orange to blue to violet to even graphite! They also had pointy ears to go with it. But the biggest thing was...

 

They all had tails. Monkey tails, cat tails, dog tails, reptilian tails, dinosuar tails, and tails...That just looked like tails. They all had different animal and some original tails. "Woah! They all have tails! Just like me!" Yuki said, looking at his red Saiyan tail. He never knew there would be people like him who had tails. This was exciting for him.
