Roleplay Kuroshitsuji: Book of Roses

Lazarus, due to his fertilizer being made out of flowers, smelled very sweet, much to his own dismay as it made Wulfric cling onto him like a puppy, just sniffing the scent out of him until he got sick of it. "We are glad you liked it, Aya. Getting it ready wasn't that hard." Lazarus admitted. "Yeah, it was acttually very fun! The only difficult thing was when those demons attacked us!" Wulfric added, clingig onto Lazarus still. "Yeah. Those demons were annoying! One of them tried to kill me with electricity and everything! The other one flipped Wulfric while in his wolf form. But at least the strongest one was distracted by Veran and Alexander, which by the way, worked together better than how they talk to each other." Lazarus chuckled. "Very true! Alexander did this thing with a knife and some strings and then Veran did this thing with the guns! Ahhhh~ I ship them!" Wulfric spoke, not afraid to speak his mind, regardless what was in it. "You have a cruise. I'm jelous. I have never been on a cruise." Lazarus complained, apparently not noticing the fact that they had pretty much told Aya what Veran hadn't about the three little demons.

"Demons came to the manor?" Aya then questioned Veran.

"W-Well it wasn't anything major." he stuttered.

"But they were here?" she then demanded to know.

"They were." Veran's eyes turned to Aya.

"And what were they doing?" Aya gave Veran a side glance.

"They weren't after you." the demon reassured.

"Then who were they after?" she asked.

"They were after me." he admit.

"You?" Aya questioned.
"Yes, me. They were sent by someone...I am not sure whom. Three young demons. I disposed of them, and they caused no harm to the manor." Veran informed.

"What did they cause harm to?" she asked Veran.

"I just told you they caused harm to nothing." he snapped back at her.

"Veran." Aya warned.

"They did not hurt the manor. They burnt my arm and I would not let them hurt Alexander, Wulfric, or Lazarus." Veran was starting to get a little irritated.

"Good." Aya sighed, finishing up her breakfast.

"Is that all your questions??" Veran asked, kind of being a smartass.

"Yes, that is all my questions." Aya smarted back off to him.

God they were a mess.

"I'm going to pack your bags for the cruise." the demon walked out without another word.

Aya sighed as Veran left.

"Beast will be beast. Thank you too for being amazing guards." she smiled to her other two servants.

"You guys don't mind keeping close watch on the manor while me and him are gone?"

The pair would be off in only a matter of time.

Wulfric and Lazarus smiled. Something of their grin said that maybe they did speak about the hidden incident on purpose. "We will watch your manor like our own child!" Lazarus said rather proudly as he looked over at Wulfric, who eventually got off him to give him a break. "You should take this chance and enjoy the cruise, Aya! You barely get time off as it is! You should enjoy it as much as you can before the queen decides to fill you up with endless missions and work again." Wulfric insisted, daydreaming where he stood. "I've heard of people going on those cruises! They found so fun! Endless foot and lots of activities and the sea right out your window and the stars in the sky where there is no other lights~" Wulfric said rather chromatically. "It's a shame that you aren't going with Samael, I bet it would have been very romantic for the two of you~" Lazarus teased. "But I think Veran wouldn't leave them alone." "Not unless we gave him Alexander to be busy with." And with that the two laughed, bright smiles as they turned to each other. Before, they were strangers, never meeting, never knowing of each other's existence. Now they were friends, allies, partners in crime. Yes, Aya had brought some bad and death as the Queen's Watchdog. But she had also brought happiness to many too.

After a little while, the group left, headed for the docks by carriage. They dropped the carriage off at a stable and both walked quietly too the docks.

"The Queen said this mission wouldn't be to hard." Aya was reading over the letter again as they wait.

"Well we can never be too sure." Veran commented, looking down at Aya's left hand clutching the letter. The dragon's breath opal ring Samael gave her on her left ring finger.

The two did not wait for long, and were easily able to identify the nobles that stepped into the boat before Aya and Veran were let on. After searching a bit, Veran was able to find the associates of the Queen.

"Excuse me!" Aya called to them, they stopping for her.

"I am Aya Everus, and this is Veran. We were sent to supervise you in this trip." Aya showed the seal upon the Queen's letter.

Of course, why was a little girl like her sent to supervise. Well that was something the Queen, and Aya knew. It was all under Veran's and Aya's watch to keep these people safe. The hands of a demon are welcoming, and could lead you to death.

The group of elegant aristocrats looked at each other and then at Aya. Some were single, others were with their husbands and wives and children as a family. All of them wearing their ever so elegant outfits, the girls wearing large sunhats to keep the sun at bay. They all smiled and chuckled at Aya's presence. Of course, they had heard of her. The Queen's Watchdog, one and only, and her servant. "My, what a cute little girl you are!" "You are simply adorable!" "It's nice to finally meet the Queen's Watchdog, but I never expected her to be so tiny!" They spoke, nodding over at Aya and Veran. One of them cleared his throat, smiling as he spoke up. "Thank you for coming to supervise us, Lady Aya! Though the only trouble we might get in is to having too much fun!" The younger man insisted, holding a glass of some fine wine in his hands. His friends around him had sophisticated auras of their own, from different countries and upbringings and ethnicity. This cruise would not only be a great place for a vacation, but a great place to make associates, and create deals between companies. All in a day's work. "I thank you for looking after us, Lady Aya, but I can assure you we won't get in trouble~" One of them insisted, chuckling slightly before returning his attention to his friends, and so they returned to mingle as they had before. "You're the queen's watchdog!" A little voice spoke. Behind Aya and Veran stood a little kid, maybe around the ages of 13 to 14. He was wearing what seemed to be an attempt of a sailor's uniform, along with a cute little hat. "You aren't an adult at all!" The little kid said, sounding almost surprised.

Aya was thankfully welcomed well. What a relief. Maybe this trip wouldn't be that bad. Veran had his senses peeled for anything out of the ordinary, but as the boat sailed off, there really wasn't much to observe...for him at least. He was offered a glass of wine and had accepted it, though it really wouldn't do much for him.

Aya turned around to a younger boy on hearing him.

"I am technically an adult though-- only just turned 18. My dad wasn't a kid when he was the watchdog though." she smiled down at the boy.

How cute he was.

Aya moved into the crowd of people, finding Veran who had just already started his second glass of wine.

"Not much to do is there?" Aya asked, pulling the cup from Veran's hands.

"Not yet--" he was cut off as Aya took the wine.

"Lady Aya you know that if you drink wine..." Aya cut him off again.

"I just turned 18 Veran, let me try to have some fun....this cruise is a present too after all." Aya gave him a side glance, a mocking smirk on her face as she took a long gulp of the alcohol.

"Plus, you aren't much fun anyways." She commented after the drink.

"I can be fun." Veran tried to defend himself.

"That is a lie Veran, you aren't supposed to lie to me. You are not very fun at all...except seeing you in pain...now that's pretty funny." Aya had left just a bit in the cup before handing it back to Veran, where he sipped up the rest.

"Seeing you in your helpless state is a little bit funny too." Veran commented back.

-Two days later, the second night-
So far, the mission had gone smoothly. This was the best a mission had gone, actually. No attacks. No accidents. Nothing. Just enjoyment, business deals, food, and wonder. It was the greatest vacation that Aya and Veran had ever had. But as it always is, all good things must come to an end. And well, this would end with quite a bang. It was nighttime. The passengers of the first class enjoyed their evening at the ballroom, where they could dance, enjoy the entertainment provided, mingle, and eat and drink all that they could handle without a worry in the world. There was not a single cloud in the sky, the stars shinning ever so brightly, the only other light being that of the ship itself. Slowly the ship entered into a mysterious misty area, a thick fog that seemed out of place, yet not considered unusual within the sea. On the inside, no one seemed to notice, simply enjoying their comfort, even as those outside made comments on it. From afar a wasted ship stood, a young pirate watching the cruise through the telescope from the ship's crow's nest. "Ship ahead!" The pirate called, never wavering on the sight. Below pirates looked up, working on the ship they called home, ready for any orders to come. The ship's captain walked across the deck, his boots knocking against the wood. He picked up his own telescope, taking a look at the cruise ship himself. "Quite a beauty, is she not?" The captain asked. He smirked. "I can feel the riches within my grasp already." With that, the captain turned, facing his men. "Get ready men! We strike at once!" The captain ordered, the crew cheering along. And so they snuck towards their prey. Inside, the people didn't even notice, the loud music muffling any other sound. A couple of pirates dove into the sea, swimming up to the cruise ship and climbing aboard within the dark. Bare footed, they ran across the shadows, avoiding any patrols as they made their way to their assigned destinations. One group headed down to the bioler room, the other to the captain's deck. The captain drank some tea, keeping himself awake for a bit longer in the night. However the door slowly opened, and he and his mates turned to face the barrel of a flintlock pistol. "What is the meaning of this?!" The captain gasped, seeing as the other pirates slowly surrounded them. They were dressed of their own time period, looking like a bunch of children's characters from a play or a show. "Just do as you are told and no one will get hurt." The young man spoke, his status being that of the Quarter Master. "Tie them up!" He ordered. The pirates quickly rounded up the three men, ting them up and throwing them into the nearest corner. The Quarter Master even took the captain's hat, taking a good look at it curiously. "This is so strange. I'll never understand your taste in fashion." The Quarter Master spoke. He threw the hat to the side and walked over to the nearest phone, the one that led to the boiler room. He picked it up, speaking into it. "Are you ready boys?" He asked. "Ready sir!" A pirate spoek from the other line, as within the boiler room the other pirates had taken care of the staff, tying them up as a few of them were unconscious on the floor. The Quarter Master chuckled. "Pull the breaks." He ordered. The pirates below quickly made work, turning off the required machinery, and slowly, yet roughly, the ship stopped moving, and came to a stop. Though not very noticeable unless you were paying attention to the outside. Suddenly, just as quick as the ship had stopped, the lights went out in the entire ship, leaving everyone in darkness. Gasps and murmurs surrounded the ballroom, children crying out for their parents in fear. Quickly one of the staff tried to gain control. "Calm down everyone! Surely there just might be a disturbance in the boiler room. It should be fixed soon." The man assured. He would eat his words, as the sound of cannons echoed across the night, and glass shattered as giant canon balls broke through the windows, smashing into the walls, into the the tables, the chandeliers, and one of them hitting a man straight on, decapitating him where he stood. People screamed, scurrying to run in the darkness, tripping on each other and running into furniture. Suddenly the lights came back on, only to reveal a ship equally as big right next to them just outside, yet ever so much more ancient. On the deck pirates climbed on, hurrying across the ship to gain control. People tried to run only to face pirates in their way, wielding guns and daggers and swords. They were trapped. The entire cruise ship under siege. As people screamed and complained, fear in their voices as they tried to hide in the nearest corners, behind tables and chairs, the Quarter Master showed up in the ballroom, spinning the captain's hat on his finger. "Alright everyone, listen up!" He spoke, his accent being the same as their own. "My name is Arturo, and if everyone cooperates, no one will get hurt." He spoke, a smile on his face.

"So just sit tight until the captain arrives, ok?"

Everything was almost perfect the past two days. Aya was very surprised. She was actually having fun and doing some business, and Veran wasn't causing her too much trouble.

However, that all changed the second night they were there.

Attending a ballroom party, Veran and Aya were close in proximity as they skid across the ballroom floor, waltzing to the music as it echoed.

However the music and all dancing came to an abrupt stop as soon as the lights flickered once or twice, and all went out suddenly.

Some people were quick to light candles as Veran and Aya moved closer to each other. It was said to be something wrong with the boiler room. It wasn't that uncommon for the power to go out, especially on a ship.

But as soon as Veran heard the sound of a cannon, he quickly moved to block Aya as it came soaring through the ballroom. If Veran would not have moved Aya, she would have been crushed my a chandelier.

The cannon hit a lower class man head on, literally head on. It decapitated him. Veran covered Aya's sight from that gruesome mess.

As people started trying to run and spread out, it was clear they were under siege. As the lights cut back on, they were all surrounded. A sword pointed at Veran, and many other pirates wielding weapons to other innocent people.

Veran gave a chuckle as Arturo introduced himself.

"My my...you have boarded the wrong ship, Mr. Pirate." The demon placed his hand on his gun, drawing it.

"Aya, Ihre Waffe..." he muttered to her in German.

Aya immediately understood, Veran handing Aya a white gun.

"If you harm anyone else on this ship, you and your captain will be dead. By the name of Her Majesty, I will make sure of it." Aya declared.

"I was sent on this cruise ship as a birthday present...I guess the Queen's Watchdog can never get a little break." She said out loud, sighing afterwards.

"Oh well...I guess I can play some." Aya held tight onto the gun.

She wasn't the best, but if she needed to shoot, she would.

Arturo laughed. Usually when being threatened by a little girl and a demon one would think twice. But he just laughed. Instead he walked closer to Aya, a soft smile on his features. "So you'll kill me, is that so?" Arturo cooed in a mocking tone. None of his fellow pirates seemed to be disturbed or deterred by Veran and Aya's claim, Arturo being the most bluing about it. However he didn't stop with his surprises, grabbing Aya's wrist and pulling the gun closer to him. "Well then. Kill me." Arturo said. He suddenly shoved the gun straight into his mouth, and with his own hand, pushed Aya's finger to pull the trigger. It went off, Arturo's head exploding, his skull chattering as brain matter and blood splattered on the floor beneath. Pieces of his skull hung by mere threads, the only part remaining being that aligned with the lower jaw. Yet even as people screamed in horror of such death, they only screamed harder once they heard a gargled laughter come from the body without a head. It moved its shoulders, and it had yet to let go of Aya. "...hadenth yer hearth the saying, wagthgog?" Arturo spoke between gargled words, his tongue flicking at the words. Before everyone the blood and pieces of body burnt up into steam, and ever so slowly Arturo's head reformed to its normal self, a twisted smile on his face as his eyes and skin slowly stitched themselves together, and his golden locks regrew where they once stood. "Dead men tell no tales." And just like that at least 3 people fainted. "Captain Antonio on deck!" A pirate called, all eyes turning to the sound of heels against wood. In walked the captain, bringing his splendorous aura with him. His skin was naturally tanned, his eyes gleaming as green as the emeralds that adorned his neck. His jewelry was to be envied by any royal, made out of pure gold and all kind of precious jewels with designs worthy for an emperor, necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, belts. His hair was brown with a slight curl. If the situation wasn't what it was, a few people here and there would have already began to attempt to flirt with the ever so young looking captain. "Arturo! When I said to knock them dead, I didn't mean it so literally." The captain, Antonio, joked, his accent thick as he spoke a language that was secondary to him. He turned to his men. "You boys know what to do. What are you waiting for? Go on." Antonio said, waving his men away. The pirates nodded. Some of them hurried down to the bedrooms and other levels of the ship. Others went ahead around the ballroom, guns and knives in hands as they held large bags, demanding to hand over any gold and jewelry specifically. Others took the chance to eat the food that was still around. Antonio walked over to Aya and Veran. "So you're a Watchdog? My, you might as well be a Chihuahua then, wouldn't you?" Antonio cooed, amused that this little girl could possibly be trouble. His eyes then landed on Veran. "A demon." He murmured under his breath, glancing up and down at him. He then lifted his hands and stuck them like guns, pointing his fingers at Veran. "Well you must definitely be from hell, otherwise you wouldn't be this hot!" Silence. Did...did this pirate just used a pickup line on Veran? "Good one, captain." Arturo said as he gave a small clap. Some of the other pirates clapped as well, smiling at the efforts of their captain, as stupid as it was. "Hehe, that was a good one, wasn't it?" Antonio asked, a charming smile on his face. "But now I'm curious." Antonio said as he turned his attention over to Aya. "What kind of trouble did you get into to have someone like him with you?"

As the shot was fired by Arturo, Veran lunged into action, pulling Aya away from the pirate and making her drop her gun, her eyes shield by his hands in one swift movement.

"You guys are already dead!" Veran held Aya close to him, hoping she didn't even get a glance of the pirates decapitation.

It was a dumb statement at least, of course they were dead. They had disguised their scent.

As the Captain walked into the ship, Aya moved Veran's hands off her, looking to Antonio has he walked in and approached her and Veran.

"If I am a chihuahua, you must be a mere flea." Aya jeered.

Veran almost laughed. Almost.

But Antonio's next comment dropped the laugh out of his chest.

"That was horrible." the demon was brutally honest.

"Also...a discussion like that can be held for a later time." Aya spoke up.

"I was sent here to protect the nobles on this ship. If you will let them travel in peace without harming them...or no further people here..." she lay her eyes on the captain.

"IF you let the nobles and everyone else travel in peace...I will allow you to take me and Veran...and do whatever you would like." Aya folded her hands behind her back.

Veran looked at her, a smirk creepy on his face.

"You don't usually allow people to take you so easily, My lady..." Veran chuckled.

"If it is for the protection of other people, I will give myself...and you up." she turned her eyes to Veran.

"Let them do whatever they wish..." Truthfully, Aya really wouldn't let them do what they wish...she just needed to get them away from the innocent crew.

Antonio laughed at Aya's response. Arturo was more angry. "How dare you call the captain a flea!" Arturo hissed. However Antonio quickly wave him off. "Don't worry! Her personality, I love it! She has lots of spunk!" Antonio insisted. He listened to Aya's proposal about leaving the nobles alive and all. Antonio couldn't help but to chuckle once more. "Oh don't worry! We don't want to kill anyone! We just want to gather your gold and valuables as all. You know, gather more additions to our treasures and all." Antonio insisted as he looked back at his pirates. Soon they walked over to Antonio, showing him bags full of mostly jewelry and pocket watches, anything that had gold and jewels on it. Paper money wasn't valuable to a pirate as much as tangible gold and metals were. he quickly waved them away, ordering them to take the bags full of treasures back to the ship. The rest of the pirates would have searched for valuable items all over the ship, no class spared. "However, I will take you up on that offer." Antonio said as he walked closer to Aya. "Sir?" Arturo asked. Antonio then picked Aya up, almost as if he were picking up a little kid. "I like your attitude, Watchdog! I want you and your friend to be part of my crew!" Antonio decided. "...what? Captain, you can't be serious! These guys will only be a complete bother to us!" Arturo insisted. "Come on! Just loo at her! She's adorable and has the right amount of sass!" Antonio said as he smiled at Aya, setting her down. "Besides, everyone else has their little pirate apprentices! Now I can return having one of my own!" Antonio insisted as he signaled his men. "Alright everyone! Lets get back to the ship! We're heading home!" Antonio chuckled said, everyone cheering as they casually began to walk back to their own ship, bringing their treasures and anything else they wanted with them. Arturo groaned loudly. "I do guess that having a demon on our crew might bring some jealousy to your peers." Arturo said as he looked over at the two. Antonio clapped his hands. "Then it's decided! Arturo, escort these two to get their stuff and get them on board! From tonight on, they're going to be part of the Mariposa crew!"

Aya made sure that her ring was hidden from the pirates sight. If anything were to happen to that ring...

As soon as Aya was picked up, Veran gave the face of a dog about to maul a rabbit, and Aya just tried to put up with it.

"Please sit me down." she complaint, Antonio setting her down.

"I've never heard of pirate apprentices..." Veran muttered to himself.

Aya picked up her gun as Arturo escorted them to their bunker, Veran getting their things together quickly.

The two were lead on board as Aya looked back at the remaining people at the crew ship who might have had some sense of what was going on still in them.

"We will be back." she said sincerely, stepping onto the Pirate Ship.

Veran stood behind Aya as the ship started getting ready to sail. As it began slowly moving away from the cruise ship, Aya looked at the people inside. She would get everything back for them.

The ship was left with questions, and ore than what anyone on that cruise expected. On the Mariposa, Arturo began to bark orders around. Antonio didn't hesitate to step over to Veran. "Welcome to my ship! Isn't she a beauty? I customized it myself!" Antonio said as he spun a bit, showing off his ship. As he turned, one could see a giant hole on his back, revealing a ribcage and non-beating heart. His mortal wound which sent him from the world of the living to Davy Jones' locker. "You'll like it here! You'll make a great part of our crew, right boys?!" Antonio asked, the crew cheering as they continued to do what they did around the ship. Antonio wrapped his arms around Veran's and Aya's shoulders, pulling them closer. "You'll be true pirates in no time! After all, a pirate that wants to stay healthy needs to take his vitamin sea!" Antonio joked, throwing in a pun in there, which received a few laughter from the crew. Even in death they had terrible sense of humor. "Captain, maybe we should explain something to the newcomers?" Arturo suggested, Antonio stepping away from Aya and Veran to get closer to his second in command. "The rules? Oh yeah! No feeding your fellow pirates to sharks! The poop deck isn't actually for pooping-!" Antonio began, only to be nudged by Arturo. "I meant of who we are. If they are going to be part of this ship, they should know the proper history." Arturo insisted. "Oh! That's right!" Antonio cheered, turning around as he gave a bow. "My name is Antonio Alejandro Fernandez De Jesus the third. Captain of the Mariposa! This is my second in command, Arturo." Antonio said as he nudged Arturo around. "And this is my crew." Antonio then pointed over at Veran and at Aya. "Now, what are your names, and what questions do you have for us?" Antonio asked, being rather friendly for a pirate. "We could always just ignore their questions and explain once we get back home. The rest will have their own questions of how on earth did it occur to you to bring these two on board the Mariposa." Arturo grumbled under his breath. "Oh relax, Arturo! The end of the world is upon us! We need to assure we have enough people for our little republic! Even cute little ones!" Antonio insisted with his brightest smile, only to return his attention to the two. "So, questions?"

"I guess its an okay ship for being older..." Aya commented on the ship.

Veran really wasn't sure what to say or do. Sure, Aya dragged him into strange things...but this is one of the strangest things she has done yet. All of these pirates were dead...yet they were reanimated somehow. Reanimated perfectly. They had all of their memories...and threads of a soul, but they were definitely dead.

Aya laughed just kind of out of her mouth at Antonio's jokes.

"I am Aya Elizabeth Everus...and this demon is currently my butler, Veran Sterben. If you would like to ask why I am with a demon...please arrange that at a later time." she tried to say as kindly as possible.

Then once again, Veran and Aya heard about "the end of the world"
"You are the second to say the end of the world is coming...you guys really don't believe it is coming do you? I mean...I suppose the supernatural have a different sense around it but..." Aya let herself stray off.

"I have been away from hell for a while, and I myself am unsure as to what this talk is about..." Veran admit.

Surely all of the end of the world talk was just...a reaper and zombie tale.

Arturo scoffed at Aya and Veran. "For a demon you are way out of touch with everything around you." Arturo hissed. "Yeah! Otherwise we wouldn't be here. Davy Jones let us out after much convincing. It took us forever to convince him though. Have you ever tried to convince the Grim Reaper of the Seas to release a bunch of unruly souls back into the Earth to enjoy what's left before it all goes to poop? It's hard." Antonio insisted. He gave a small bow. "Veran. Aya. I'll remember those names! You guys are pretty lucky we picked you up. You get to have fun with us for the last remaining months of this place existing. Man, I'm going to miss the sea." Antonio admitted wholeheartedly as he chuckled to himself. "This world is going to seize to exist soon. We can see it. We can smell it. Davy Jones himself told us. So we're reliving our days and collecting our treasures to prepare for the next world." Arturo admitted, explaining to the two. "So for the moment, how about I give you a tour around my ship?" Antonio offered with a smile on his face. "Come on, Aya! I'll show you!" Antonio insisted as he took Aya's hand and began to drag her around, showing her all over the ship and its crew mates. While Antonio did that, Arturo took interest in Veran himself. "Do you really not feel it, demon? That the world that we know is at the verge of ending?" Arturo asked, blinking up at him. "You really must have become attached to this world to be unable to feel what we feel. The dread is becoming heavy, you know. The Grim Reapers are being forced to work overtime just to keep up for what is to come." Arturo insisted, getting closer to Veran. If they were any closer it could be considered PDA. "You don't trust us. But right now you don't have a choice. Yes. We are dead. We died after being murdered by the Queen's own men long, long ago. Though not the same as your queen, I'm sure. But we're here, and right now, you're under our flag. Poor little demon you. You've become so attached to this world you used to call home you can't even feel it ending beneath your own feet!" Arturo chuckled. Meanwhile Antonio was already offering Aya shots of whiskey and other alcohol to drink, an age limit for such things not really existing in a dead pirate ship.

"It was not my choice to come back here. If I could have, I would have stayed in hell." Veran admitted, a bit uncomfortable by Arturo being so close.

"I do not feel the world ending beneath my feet because I will not allow it to. Someway or another, I have to keep that girl alive. Not only for her sake...but the sake of the man she loves...and by her orders." He explained, looking into the distance.

"How long do we have? Me and Aya cannot be on this ship for months. She works for the Queen you know..." he informed.

He began to walk away from Arturo, but stopped.

"I'm sure the death I suffered was far more worse than the death your crew suffered. Flames are unforgiving." And with that, he walked towards the direction Antonio brought Aya.

"So Antonio...you managed to convince a grim reaper to let you stay on earth and in the sea...That is pretty interesting." Aya was enjoying her small tour. The boat was grand. It was old though. But grand.

"How long until you dock? You aren't really planning on having us here for months..." Aya was offered whiskey and alcohol.

She simply stating at it.

"I just turned 18...it's probably not a good idea for me to have alcohol." She turned to Antonio.

He almost spoke as if he was drunk all the time anyways.

"Oh don't worry!" Arturo assured. "Well arrive in a matter of minutes, actually! Maybe thirty, at most. We got to enjoy the winds." Arturo said as he walked around Veran. "We have a few months to go. That's what Davy Jones told us, anyways." Arturo hummed as he listened to Veran. "So you were burned alive? That had got to suck." Arturo laughed a bit. He crossed his arms. "We were one of the greatest pirates ever. We were on our way to join the names of Blackbeard and Avery. Then the Royal Crowns of different countries came after us. Even after we help against the enemies they have the nerve to tell us to stop once when we are at our top! We didn't stand a chance against that ambush. It's not fair, you know!" Arturo complained to Veran. "You know. It's not too late to be a pirate. Though in this day and age it wouldn't be much fun, would it?"

Antonio drank from his cup. Besides gaining on treasure, they had also been stealing alcohol and drinks of all kind. They were dead. They didn't felt hunger. But they could at least enjoy the sweet tastes of these new brands and drinks that had come up while they were six feet under the sea. "Well the world was ending. It will be a while before it was renewed. So after much annoyance he just let us have some fun, if it's all going down to crap as it is, we might as well have fun, right?!" Antonio asked, receiving cheers from his mate. He waved his hand as he poured another cup for Aya. "We should arrive in thirty minutes or so. Don't worry." Antonio insisted as he pushed the glass of alcohol towards Aya again. "Why not? It's tasty! You guys have come up with very tasty drinks ever since I was killed. This one tastes like strawberry!" Antonio cooed as he pushed the glass closer to Aya, almost insistent. "Come on. Drink. Drink. Drink." Antonio began to chant, only to be joined by everyone else in the room. Pirates will be pirates.

"I don't think I've ever heard of a demon being a pirate..." Veran muttered to himself.

"Where are we headed?" Veran then asked, turning his head to Arturo.

He would go check on Aya in a second.

"Strawberry?" And that got her.

Though she should have not, Aya drank the glass to the satisfaction of the other pirates. The alcohol went straight to her head. It was rather strong...especially for someone as small as her.

Samael would probably be disappointed.

"It is never too late to make history, my friend." Arturo cooed, turning away. "We are heading to Libertaria. Well, what is left of it. Centuries have worn it down but we have managed with what was left behind. Fixed a few things even." Arturo insisted, tapping at Veran's shoulder. "Come on. We have thirty minutes to waste. Let's enjoy some of the drinks we stole from the cruise ship. They have really improved their tastes over the years that we have been dead." Arturo insisted as he walked back inside the cabin of the ship. Inside was a sight he didn't really expect. Somehow, Antonio had convinced Aya to drink, and with a single cup, she was drunk, much to the amusement of everyone else around. "Oh dear, it appears that your master can't handle her alcohol, can she, Veran?" Arturo teased, smiling as he watched them. By this point the pirates had began to serve Aya another glass. Antonio, being as dramatic as he was, stood up on his chair, stepping his boot against the table, causing it to shake along with its glasses before he began to sing in a surprisingly, good voice. "Farewell and adieu to you, Spanish ladies! Farewell and adieu to you, ladies of Spain! For we've received orders for to sail for old England! And we may never see you fair ladies again!~" Antonio began to sing, and just like that, the rest of the crew began to sing along, knowing the lyrics to heart. "We will rant and we'll roar like true British sailors! We'll rant and we'll roar all on the salt seas! Until we strike soundings in the channel of old England! From Ushant to Scilly is thirty-five leagues!~" The crew sang, surprisingly in tune despite some being ot of it, but enjoying themselves regardless. Antonio notied Veran and Arturo enter, and he cheerfully smiled at the two, walking over to them with a glass in hand. "There you are! Veran! You're missing out! Your lady Aya is already one of us! Come join!" Antonio insisted as he offered Veran a glass while wrapping an arm around his shoulder.

"You let her drink?" Veran raised his voice at Antonio after the song.

He pulled the drink out of Aya's hand as she wined.

"Veraannn~ Why did you do thattt~" Her words were almost slurred.

"You don't need to drink alcohol so suddenly." he said firmly to his master, pouring the rest into his mouth. It wouldn't affect him.

Veran pulled Aya away from Antonio and she basically fell onto him.

"Drinks will not have an affect on me, but they will harm Aya. She is a lady, you should have more respect." He was getting a bit defensive.

"Ahh more respect~? But then you have me fall on you~ You just don't want anyone touching meee~" Aya giggled to herself, Veran looking down at her and sighing.

Antonio blinked a few times and shrugged at Veran. "Nothing wrong with a little drinking!" Antonio insisted, smiling as he saw Veran drink the remaining alcohol from Aya's cup. "Wow, Veran, you're a strong one aren't you?!" Antonio cheered, waving a glass at Veran as he giggled. Arturo however wasn't having it, quickly stepping up to Veran while his flint stock gun in his hand, pointed at Veran. "I'll have you know that the captain has the most utter respect for a lady such as Aya. Now I warn you, you shall retain from rising the voice to our captain again, or else you'll be thrown overboard." Arturo hissed. He would have no man, demon, or anything for that matter, threaten his captain. "Land ho!" A pirate yeled from the outside, signaling they were reaching their destination. Antonio clapped his hands and walked over to Veran and Aya. "We're here!" Antonio said, gently taking Aya's hands and getting her away from Veran, leading her outside so they could get off the ship. Arturo decided he would keep a close distance to Veran to keep him from doing anything. The place that they reached were large mountains of rock with only one entrance, all hidden within the mist as if it didn't even exist until now. As the ship rode through , it showed that on the inside was an island. It wasn't either too big nor too small. Big enough to have space for ships to dock in its makeshift dock. There were three other ships there, each docked in its individual dock across the island. The Sturmjäger (Storm Chaser), the Кракен (Kraken), and the Hav juvel (Sea's Jewel). The ship docked on its individual dock before they kicked the ladder down. Antonio clapped his hands. "Hurry up and get the treasure to the treasury!" Antonio ordered, and his men did as told. The island itself didn't have much buildings. Only one, actually, a large treasury where all of their treasure was stored in. The rest was decorated with chairs and bars and tables with board games and drinks. Pirates from different captains greeted them, cheering them on. "You won't believe what we found!" Antonio said, almost wanting to show off Aya and Veran to the rest of the captains. "About time you got here." A familiar voice spoke. Into the scene strode Nikolai, his suit torn here and there, his whip on his hip. "I told you I would bring them, didn't I?" Antonio said, extending his hand as if waiting for something. "Took your precious time." Nikolai huffed, reaching into his suit and taking out a velvet box, handing it over to Antonio. "Thank you!" Antonio said cheerfully as he walked over to Arturo. "Arturo~" Antonio cooed, opening the small box to show a pair of golden rings. Arturo gasped. "I thought we lost them when they looted them from our bodies!" "I got them back! Nikolai did, anyways." Antonio smiled, quickly getting the rings on each other's fingers. They were wedding bands. Nikolai crossed his arms and looked at Veran and Aya. "Long time no see. Are you enjoying your vacation?"

"You can shoot me and throw me overboard...I'll come back anyways." Veran smiled at Arturo as he held the gun to his head.

As they landed, although Antonio seemed to not want him near his master, Veran stood close to her.

They soon approached a familiar face. Nikolai.

"What are you doing here?" The demon jeered, biting his tongue.

Meanwhile, Aya was entranced by the rings.

"Wedding bands~~ Are you two marriieeeddd~?? Look at this rinngg~ someone amaaaaaaazing got it for me." Aya showed off her ring.

Veran turning his head to her.

"You will not dare steal that ring." He threatened the pirates.

Antonio and Arturo were busy being all cute with each other. "I won't steal that ring. I can tell it's meant to be of much importance." Antonio said as he smiled at Aya. "Yup! We're married! You seem to be on your way to being married too." Antonio said as he held Arturo's hand, who simply blushed and murmured happily about having their wedding bands back. "I am here to tell you what I have learned. Come along." Nikolai said. The group were led by Antonio and Arturo to the middle of the island, where they were introduced to three more captains. "Everyone! I would like you to meet Ivan, Ludwig, and Mattias! They're the captains of the other ships you see. You guys, meet Aya and her demon Veran." Antonio explained, introducing everyone around the large circular table. "Welcome mates. Join us, we're about to open up a bottle." Ivan said, his accent thick as he pulled out a bottle. "Perfect! Arturo and I got our wedding bands back! Perfect reason to open one up!" Antonio cheered as he took a seat. "Oh you did?! Congrats! You've been brooding about it forever!" Ludwig teased, laughing at Arturo as Mattias did the favor of opening the bottle up, the cork flying up into the air and eventually hitting someone on the head. Nikolai sat down, offering some seats to Veran and Aya as they began to pass the drinks around. "These the guys you've been waiting for?" Mattias asked. "Yes. They are the ones." Nikolai said. "Finally! I've been meaning to hear about what god told you up there." Ivan said as he took a large gulp of the drink. Nikolai picked up a glass. "How about we wait for Aya to sober up...because yes, I kept my promise and talked to God, Veran. Though he told me to tell you that your transfer to heaven has been postponed. Permanently." With that, Nikolai took a shot.

"Aya will be fine, we can tell her about it later if she doesn't remember now." Veran made Aya sit down as she swung her legs under the table.

"Permanently?" The demon had a ring in his voice.

"How harsh that is of you my Lord!" He called upwards letting out a laugh.

"Veraaann don't laugh you're scaary~" Aya was getting out of the haze slowly, her words still nonsense.

"God cut the wings of heaven from me off himself. I'd never suspect me going back to the promised land anyways. If hell is where I belong...I can only blame myself for it." He slid a glass away from Aya as she tried to pick it up.

"Besides...if you were given the chance again...you'd probably be in hell with me." Veran smirked as he stated at the reaper.

"Maybe. Just maybe." Nikolai said. His hatred for humanity, for those that had made him suffer what he did...he would have definitely had enough anger to go to hell. Maybe. "Well? Come on! Don't leave us hanging! We want to know too!" Ludwig insisted, all of the pirates leaning closer as they stared at Nikolai. Nikolai gently poured himself a glass, and then took a shot, drinking the whole thing in one go before he began to explain. "Like I said, I spoke to god. Things have gotten strange. The Reaper Society has began to prepare for a large amount of collection of souls. Even the demons from below seem to be wary of something changing. I needed to confirm...and he confirmed." Nikolai spoke. "The grand seven princes of hell are planning to end the world, and reign chaos for seven years, before destroying the world whole, leaving a clean slate for humanity to be born anew." Nikolai explained as he looked down at the table. "They are going to awaken...something. A giant sleeping within hell's core. They are feeding it. Giving it energy. Stirring it in his sleep. Usually, it is to remain asleep for eternity. But certain events have come into place. Certain pieces of the puzzle have appeared at the same time. If they are not stopped, if we do not intervene, the giant will awaken, and the world will end within seven years, before humanity is completely annihilated for this cycle." Nikolai explained. The pirates looked over in awe. "A...giant? Sleeping in the core of the earth?" Arturo asked, sounding in disbelief. "Sounds like it isn't the first time this has happened." Ludwig huffed. "It isn't...and it will not be the last. But if we are to survive until the next cycle, we must do something to stop it." Nikolai insisted as he quickly turned to Veran. "The giant can only awaken in certain events. After it has been fed enough souls and negative energy is one of them. The other event is the alignment of the planets, and with that comes the awakening of the Horsemen." Nikolai explained. "Like of the apocalypse?" Antonio asked. "Yes. The four Horsemen have been born within the same timeline. Once the planets align, their memories of their true purpose will return to them, and they shall start the chaos that will give the princes enough souls to awaken the giant." Nikolai explained. It all sounded like something out of a fairy tale or a bedtime story. But it was all too real. "Wait wait, let me get this straight," Mattias said as he slammed his glass down. "The four horsemen of the apocalypse have been reborn in this century, and once the planets align in a perfect line, their memories will return, and they will begin their reign of terror as they have always been meant to do, and that alone will cause enough deaths to create enough souls to feed this giant that is sleeping in the core of the earth, which the princes of hell will use to create the apocalypse?" Mattias said, trying to get everything in order. "...yes. That is the gist of it." Nikolai insisted. "...well thank goodness I'm dead! I wouldn't want to be in your shoes, mister demon!" Mattias said, looking over to Veran. Nikolai looked over at Veran once more. "You are the only demon on the living world with enough power to help stop this...guess your wings were cut for a reason, Veran."
