- Rei (Neutral) & Yagyu (Seraphim Order) - currently in City of Ruin

Rei was a bit nervous as to what will be said within the meeting as she & Yagyu followed the rebel leader Yev. Yagyu was following closely behind Yev being concerned for his safety with all these new faces, while following Yev Yagyu turned her head to see eye the others once more before departing the big feasting room. Yagyu saw both Vort & Ava leave together which slightly made Yagyu a bit jealous & then Yagyu's eye turned to see Kaspar with that same fake smile on his face. Yagyu just couldn't shake off the strange feeling her demon eye gives off when near or around him to which Yagyu narrowed her eye at him in annoyance "whatever your intentions are...I will find out, even if I have to spy on you within the night or daylight Kaspar" thought Yagyu as she turned her head to following Yev out the door with Rei following behind her. As for for Jynn & Riley, Yagyu saw them as only more untrustworthy faces that might betray Yev & to make sure to watch them closely too.

As Yev led Yagyu & Rei up some stairs Rei was starting to sweat a little bit with crazy nervous thoughts until they reach a room with many bookshelves all around with a desk in the center for them to talk. Yagyu took the other seat with Rei standing just behind her still nervous, Yagyu took a deep breath before starting. "Yev, the mission you sent me on with some fellow rebel members & rebel leader Sid (NPC) to recruit others to our cause in Godolvia didn't go well Yev...in fact, I'm the only one thats still alive. It started out a little rough but we were starting to convince some to join us in time, but that's just when the mission went to hell. You see my group tried to recruit a group of ex-imperials to join us but instead they chose to attack us causing a battle that slightly damaged the village, but this wasn't the worst of it as just after we won that fight we were approached by a strange dark looking girl. This girl took out our leader Sid with easy & so I fought her to by time for my group to escape the area with our injured leader Sid, but while I fought the girl I could later on hear screams & cries for mercy from the direction my group ran off in. I can only assume that there was another assailant within the area causing more trouble for the town. The girl I fought was extremely tough to fight & in the end I was about to die, but I just barely managed to escape the battle with my life. But I had no strength left & fell unconscious on the outskirts of nowhere, & that's when I met Rei Yev." said Yagyu calmly.

"I'm sorry to say that it was also my group that has caused alot of people around the world to seeing us as killers or far worse, & I will take any punishment you see as fit for this..." said Yagyu feeling overwhelmed with regret. Rei meanwhile stood quietly in silence as she didn't want to interrupted Yagyu.

- White Heart (Neutral- currently aboard Rufus's pirate ship

White Heart just sat there staring as she was quickly approached by the captain of the ship (Rufus). After listening to Rufus speak White Heart's eyes looked upwards before she quickly shook her head like a wild dog shaking off water, but she was shaking off the bits of wood in her hair all over the deck's floor. White Heart then stood up straight eyeing Rufus for a moment scanning him all over until her eyes flashed white for only a brief moment. "Human confirmed. living, IQ 81, body condition lacks Vitamin C. Name requested & cause of actions, Now switching to common speaking." said White Heart before she scratched her cheek copying Rufus's actions "...Hi...my name is White Heart. I crushed into your ship as a cause for my bodies sensing functions not fully online yet. I must ask for your name human? & what is your purpose? Why are you here? Why does your mind often think of the female humans?" asked White Heart almost like she was interrogating Rufus for his life's story.

Fiora - Messiah

Fiora stopped in her tracks once her opponent finally approached her. She kept a calm expression, and as Sahail gave her warning, Fiora quickly studied her surroundings to try and come up with some sort of battle plan. This isn't the best place for me to fight... I'll need to get somewhere a little more open. She noted, trying to think up a few options. After a few seconds, she came up with something. It was... a little crazy, but it was probably the best option. She had to do whatever it took to keep this woman away from Eclaire, even if it would end up having some bad effects later on... She rose an arm into the air and decided to try out a new move she'd been preparing. "I won't let you interfere with our commander's battle!" She exclaimed, then a burst of blinding light erupted from her raised palm. She shut her eyes and turned away from the source. Being so close to the source of the blast wouldn't leave her unaffected, but she could do her best to not be blinded by it. Once the light had faded, she turned around. Her vision was a little blurry, but she could still easily make out her surroundings. Hoping that her magic had blinded Sahail for even a few seconds, she mustered up even more power to shoot a bolt of lightning at the woman. She didn't do anything too strenuous, but used just enough power to hopefully make some sort of difference in the battle. She began to back away, not daring to turn away from Sahail. She had to keep her guard up in case her attacks both failed.

Indy - Empire

Indy swiftly dodged to the side of Victoria's attack, but before the attack could actually do anything, she was tossed away. Indy hadn't expected Kinzoku to interfere in the battle, and the other man that had just arrived only complicated this even more. On the bright side, the new arena meant there was no way for Indy's target to run. He'd finally have the satisfaction of killing her himself.

Allitt - Messiah

Once Allitt had been led into the hideout, it didn't take long for her to complete her mission. She met with the crime lord: A man wearing lavish clothes, sitting in a well-decorated room with a few guards standing by the door. It made Allitt sick, but she tried her best to keep up appearances. The crime lord gave a smirk as Allitt entered. "Hm... Who's this? A new lackey?" He studied the woman. He could tell that she was a female as her cloak did give a bit of a look at her more feminine figure, but he was unable to see her face.

"I heard that you're looking for some new recruits to do your jobs for you... I may not look like much, but I assure you that I'm very skilled." She spoke in a mysterious tone.

"I'm sure that you are... However, before we discuss anything, I'd like a good look at your face..." He responded, curious about the woman before him. She looked rather young, but sounded confident. He wondered if she was from this area, or perhaps just a traveler...

"Alright, I'll give you a look..." Making use of her enhanced speed, Allitt zipped ahead so that she was able to look right into the leader's eyes, then after drawing her blade, drove it into his chest. "This good enough for you?" She smirked as the man's eyes went wide. Allitt quickly turned around towards the nearby guards, certain that they'd try to fight back. This is where her other powers came in. Her body slowly became encased in ice, and she gave the other men in the room a menacing look. "For following this man, you're all just as guilty as he is... As much as I'd like to have a fun fight, I can't let you escape." They all froze where they were standing, many with horrified expressions on their faces. Once the threat was clear, Allitt's appearance reverted back to normal, and she let out a sigh. "Maybe I can get a real battle soon... I should have asked Victoria for a sparring match while I had the chance." She muttered, then exited just as calmly as she'd entered.

Once she finished her job, she boarded her ship. "So... I have to go recruiting now, huh? Not the most exciting job, either... Hopefully I meet up with someone interesting." After fiddling with the controls for a few moments, the ship rose and soared off into the distance...

- Rufus Contralto - Neutral - En route to Kaipora -

The pirate captain looked at the newcomer with great surprise as her eyes glowed with an inner light, a trait he knew was not a very human trait unless one had absorbed an abundant amount of magical energy, but what was even more fascinating was the way she spoke, as if she were assessing him in the form of data.  He wondered whether the Empire filed a document on him for a brief moment, but some things said did not match up.  He let her speak on, his mind reeling in confusion.

"White Heart . . . a quizzical name this is, and you seem rather off your rocker with that kind of an explanation for smashing into a flying airship, though I thank you for establishing my intelligence.  Eighty-one, huh?  That must be quite high!"

He smiled gleefully, entirely pleased with the sound of that score.

"Uh, actually, Cap'n, that's kinda low on the . . . oh, never mind," called out Reggie from the crow's nest again, letting the man have his assumption for this one time.

"Paying no nevermind!" chirped Rufus.  "I am Rufus Contralto, the captain of this fair airship, and I am here to ensure the welfare of this fine crew, not to mention the welfare of this entire world!  The world's digging its own grave with this continent-wide war, but we are just the right thing to save it.  Through smuggling, robbery, and confrontation, we are making the world a better place to live."  He theatrically held his arms out wide, back turned on White Heart and his crew as he watched the world sweep past, but that one remaining question burned his enjoyment of the conversation down to an unsettling low.  "And for future notetaking, my mind does not often think of women.  You may ask Lelita that."

That earned a quick reaction of Lelita's storming over to Rufus and giving him a solid thwack across the cheek.

"That's what you get for keeping me out of your dreams!" she shouted, storming away just as quickly.  "Or something like that!"

- Kaspar Ulrich - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin -

Kaspar was pleasantly amused by Yevgeni's words, the man taking a great interest in his services, but he wondered why he was as keen to introduce the services of a magic class as unpopular as necromancy or dark divination into an order that sounded so holy.  His thoughts resonated within his skull, struggling to recollect the man's words, and his eyes shone with a pallid green sheen even through his specialised illusion magic.

Personal interest, he thought with an inward smile.  What hidden purposes does this Yevgeni have to delve into the secretive nature of my art?  I must admit, this man intrigues me.  I wonder, if he persists in his curiosity, whether he will make a pupil, an acolyte, or an ostiary in my new world order.

And then came Yagyu and her blue-haired companion, Yagyu establishing her presence by tapping the leader's shoulder.  They locked eyes, and Kaspar could only sense that she was extremely suspicious of him.  She was the one of which had had to be the most cautious.  Even suspicion and theory can blossom into a threat.  He knew this well over his many years.

"I will retire as well, but it is a sincere pleasure to meet you all," Kaspar enunciated to the rest of the room's occupants, bowing as soon as he ascended and departing from the table.

His pleasure was indeed sincere.  He gauged that so very few were interested in him and among those precious few individuals he probably found a candidate to include in his dark, deep schemes.  If he had the capacity to truly smile, he would have had a Cheshire grin plastered on his face.

- Zane - New Empire - currently somewhere in Langerdon

After Zane's battle with Paul Zane come back to the empires base. "Oh! General Zane, your back already. Was you your mission to take over Hylvania a success sir?" said a random solider "...Hylvania is within our grasp with Crota there but still, The state of that village is almost just as bad as that city Godolvia. Now excuse me, I need to rest for a while" said Zane as he started walking away from the random solider. "Oh! wait general Zane! I received a message from that strange girl a while ago now sir, she says to remind you of your meeting with her later today & to not be late, should I send a reply message on your behalf sir?" said solider. Zane paused for a moment in silence staring at the solider before speaking "No...no reply. I'll be leaving to rest now, I am not to be disturbed unless it's Oryx or important solider." said Zane as he left for his room.

- Dark Heart & Sahail (Both Criminal Underworld) - currently in Shivering Moors

After Dark Heart listened to Eclaire that massive shield Eclaire created surrounded them both, Dark Heart stood there watching Eclaire's combinations "Only me you would seek revenge upon?..." said Dark Heart before coughing for a moment. Dark Heart looked around keeping her eyes & her nose sharply focused on all the lightening propelled spears slightly getting ready to move quickly "You know what Eclaire?" said Dark Heart as the moment came when the spears were sent flying at the ground exploding the entire ground that was within the shield below into a massive shrapnel bombardment explosion. Dark Heart's black matter arm instantly started to cover her whole body & her sword in the strange dark black matter to shield herself from the shrapnel bombardment. You could see from outside the shield the rapid force of all the shrapnel smashing all around within the bubble shield. After all the shrapnel from the ground was all but dust & the bombardment was over there was a massive crater within the bubble shield & Dark Heart was laying on the dusty ground with her black matter still covering her up, until it all shattered off of her body like it was made of glass or something. "Your must stronger than the Eclaire I remember, hehe" said Dark Heart as she slowly got up from off the ground coughing a bit heavier with a bit more blood dripping out of her mouth.

"I-i can feel it growing closer to...my heart!" whispered Dark Heart to herself as she held her chest tightly where her heart is. Dark Heart stood up with her body now mostly covered with bruises & some blood from that powerful attack "To think black matter can shatter with extreme force is something even I didn't know of...however" thought Dark Heart as she looked at Eclaire in the distance "I can still form some black matter to fini--" said Dark Heart right before she quickly fall to her knees & begun to cough up alot of blood from her mouth "D-darn it...n-not now of all times. Guess I'll be returning there once again...but before that." whispered Dark Heart to herself. "Eclaire! I can see that if you ever lost your light, your heart will darken just like mine did. I'll look forward to that day when you feel that pain, heheheh--" said Dark Heart to Eclaire right before she died falling from her knees to the ground in front of her.

Meanwhile Sahail had her guns pointed at Fiora waiting for her to leave the library but then Fiora raised her arm into the air blinding Sahail "Wha! what's this light?!" shouted Sahail asher eyes were forced to closed by the blinding light. "D-darn you litt--!" shouted the blinded Sahail right before she was hit by a bolt of lightening. Sahail was falling backwards from the lightening strike she was hit by until she just burst into shadows fading away revealing that the Sahail that Fiora was fighting was just one of Sahail's shadow clones. Meanwhile the real Sahail was reading the Zanzia book with interest as she finished CH3 quite quickly. But just then a black shadow of Sahail showed up near her whispering in her ear "What! Dark Heart is dead, how very...fortunate this is, hehe" said the real Sahail.

- White Heart (Neutralcurrently aboard Rufus's pirate ship

White Heart looked at Rufus slightly tilting her head to her left side in confusion to why Rufus acts the way he does & why Lelita smacked him. This showed White Heart that she has many things she can learn form them & White Heart was greatly interested in what Rufus spoke about just now too & that's when her main programming started up. "Your purpose is to better the world through smuggling, robbery & confrontation in a time of war. You have greatly triggered my purpose captain Rufus Contralto, I must request to stay with you & your crew to further my understanding of you as humans. In return I will carry out any order you request of me as long as it's allowed by my settings." said White Heart "May I also request your crews info captain Rufus Contralto?" asked White Heart.

-Yevgeni - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin

The blond tightly clenched his fist, his jaw nearly as tight as he growled, "This is why you can never trust the imperials.  They will double-cross you in seconds flat.  They have no honor, none of them."  He listened to the rest of Yagyu's tale, though displeasure was clearly written upon his face the entire time.  Once she finished he rose from his seat, pacing back and forth behind the desk before pausing thoughtfully.

"No," he said finally.  "It is not your fault, Yagyu.  You were not in charge, and it was not wholly your fault.  You did what you could to survive and help the others in survival.  It is just unfortunate what happened and how we were framed there."  Finally he resumed his seat, folding his hands on his desk.  "And so I understand that it was Rei who saved you, then.  She is a healer? Can she use magic?"

The slight motion of the woman in the corner of the room caught his attention, turning his emerald gaze onto her.  Aqua sat only a few feet away from the desk, observing the conversation as it took place.  "What do you think, Aqua?" he asked tentatively, tilting his head in contemplation.  "Do you think we have room for another healer?"  While he would have the final say, he did value Aqua's advice, and trusted that she would know a good medic when she saw one.  Her time as a member of the Seraphim Order was well-dedicated to their cause, which earned her much favor with him.

(I actually can't post for anyone else until others post, but I wanted to get this out there to continue this plot point and to give Sora's Baby an entrance).

- Aqua - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin

Aqua gave a small smile. She took a few moments to gather her thoughts. "Well,I can't judge her powers without seeing them. However,I can see that she's stronger than she looks. If she's given a chance to be of help she will. If there is something about her you're worried about say it. I can tell you're not worried about if she can or can't heal." The elf closed her eyes tightly.

Aqua was by no means trying to be rude. She was rather trying to make sure something wasn't being kept secret or hidden. After all Aqua knew of how badly 'The Order needed members. She was sure of that fact. It wasn't as if she had been strong when she first joined, nor had that changed. She knew that he'd only ask to see if Rei was a good character not strong or powerful.

The female elf could tell that she didn't need to asked to see if someone had powers or not. She could also feel how nervous Rei was, although that came more from the fact she had been in the same place not to long ago.

(Uhhhh-not trying to overstep anyone.)

-Eclaire-

She walked over and summoned Overture, and shot Dark Heart's dead body in the head.

"Only those born strong can succumb to such weakness. Those born weak and who gain their power through personal victory...no, I won't fall to such pathetic darkness as that." She turned and began limping away. She had to get to Fiora...her body was badly hurt, and she could barely think at the moment, as her adrenaline was dropping. The near suicide attack badly hurt her, with all the rock shrapnel, and now...she needed heals, bad.

-Jeremy-

He kicked away from Crota and flew to the massive dreadnought. By now the last of the Werewolves and Order got on, and he slid into the cargo bay as it closed. With the shield at full coverage, he let Demon Reign fall as he flew into the bridge. His stamina drained, the boy worked quickly, bringing the vessel up and away. Ships came at him but he hit hyperspace and got out of there, leaving Hyvlania to the mercy of Crota.

-Victoria-

Thrown to the side, she slid and turned. A tag team battle...fine.

"As you wish, mage. Just know that Indy belongs to me, and you do not deny a goddess her chosen love."

- Rufus Contralto - Neutral - En route towards Hylvania -

" 'Triggered your purpose,' you say?  Settings?" grunted Rufus, rubbing his pained cheek for a few seconds of idle thought before his eyes lit up in excitement.  "Another prospect!  Accompanying crew, we have another prospect!"

"Gre-e-eat," uttered Reggie from above.  "Maybe she can magic us up a new deck because we're low on funds."

"Sensational," murmured Harst under his breath.

"Another mouth to feed, I guess, even though our rations are low," Lelita sighed.

"Oh yargh!  'Nother girl!" spoke Pogo between disgusting slurps of undercooked rocktail soup, having sneaked a bowlful from Ol' Yella.  His lack of taste would no more assist his afterward stomachache than a Tumsynite tablet.

"Y'hear that, lass who goeth by the name of White Heart?  You are more than welcome to stay, even if you seem like you're all logic and all robot.  That explains a lot, actually, but it is strange.  I've never seen a humanoid robot of this quality before," Rufus mused aloud before shaking the thought out of his head.  "As for your last question, Lelita's the other girl on board the ship and the best navigator on the continent, Pogo there's my first mate, Harst my boatswain, and Reggie above us in the crow's nest.  I'll have you meet the rest of the crew later when they show up, or if you'd like to peruse the rest of the ship.

"Now," Rufus continued, adjusting his tricorne hat, "White Heart, I would like to ask you a few questions.  Who built you?  What is your purpose?  What services can you provide us?"

- Jasmine (NPC) - Seraphim Order - Shivering Moors -

Jasmine was about to reach for the door before a intense burst of light flashed from the library's windowed door, paining his eyes but not quite blinding him.  He thanked his lucky stars that he was in a well-lit area at the time and not in what he assumed was a shadow-ridden library.  Thinking quickly, he slipped inside and squinted in Fiora's direction, managing to witness Sahail's shadow clone's coup de grâce from the entrance.

Impressed enough to give a whistle, Jasmine commented, "Well executed.  I hope the real one would fall just as quickly, and I pray I'd be the one to do so with my blade.  Care for assistance, young miss, or are you too going to turn me aside like I shouldn't defend the general public?"

((Don't mind Jasmine; he's not really too happy with Eclaire telling him to sit back and watch dangerous folk do what they like in his city.))

(Sorry for the delay, lads and lasses)

{Ciriel - Messiah: Langerdon}

Ciriel gave Ariana a tight smile. The Demoness was a complication that she didn't like, but the boss had wanted who ever she could get, so...

"My old job had me moving a lot." Ciriel answered politely. "And if you consider being free of the fear of being Taken a benefit, then we've got something to discuss."

Ciriel gave Henry a shrug after his lament of being found by two people.

"I'm just really good at finding people." She replied. "Old talent."

The Angel follow Henry to the apartment and sighed when there was no sign of Neena and a open window. She would have to track the ninja down later.

"Got any chocolate milk?" Ciriel asked as she took a seat in the apartment. "Otherwise, I'm good."

{Nymeria - Neutral/The North: Hylvania}

Nym shifted into wolf form as she ran towards the city. She felt a little better as she saw the forces of the North start to pull out. She felt a little guilty that she wasn't leading them out like Stark would have, but then she did do better in smaller scale. Still, the people of the North could think for themselves, which was going to save their skin.

The main concern now was Stark. If he was shifted, he might not realize it was time to leave until it was too late. Nym wasn't about to lose her brother if she could help it.

As she ran, she caught Stark's scent. She followed it out of the city to where Stark and Crota fought. She bared her teeth, then leapt on Crota's back, using her claws to try and rip his throat open.

-Ariana - Neenry Alliance - Langerdon-

"Anything strong, please," was Ari's reply in response to Henry, taking a seat on the leather sofa.  She was mildly surprised by Neena's disappearance, but than again she felt it was partly a blessing.  Now she didn't have to worry about losing her head in the night.  She ran her fingers through her midnight-black locks, eyeing the worn grandfather clock in the corner of the room before turning her violet gaze back to their latest companion.

"So, Ciriel . . . what is this that we've got to discuss, hmm?  We all have old and new jobs, it would seem, much of which we'd prefer keep to ourselves.  Now, if you don't mind my asking, you have a presence about you that I have sensed only with one other.  Are you of some divine nature or something, or is it just the perfume you wear?"

Of course she was being slightly sarcastic, but she was also increasingly curious.  Something about Ciriel's presence reminded her heavily of Chrysalis, even if it were not as strong.  There was something light about Ciriel's aura, something that Ari had grown to discern with her heightened senses.  Not that it was any of her business, but she just found it quite curious.

A yawn seized the dark sorceress, which she stifled as she stole a glance at Henry preparing their drinks in the kitchen.  She had to admit to herself that he really wasn't such a bad guy.  No wonder Neena didn't mind having him around.

- Zane - New Empire - currently somewhere in Langerdon

After a while of resting Zane felt able enough to go to his meeting & so he did, Zane left his room & after a while of walking somewhere within Langerdon Zane come to an abandoned old building & entered the building slowly making sure his guard was up just in case this was a trap. After Zane entered he could see just up ahead the girl he was to met with covered by a black robe with a hood covering her face from the light "...So it's you is it, what is it you want?" said Zane, the girl didn't say anything at first but soon come to speak "I was wondering if Oryx has any plans for the rebellion or the world itself yet? & I hear that Oryx has attacked Kaipora & Hylvania just days after Godolvia. Is there a reason for this or is there some type of pattern in his attacks?" asked the strange girl. Zane sat on a nearby old chair "Both Kaipora & Hylvania are the only areas that the rebellion has that's near Langerdon, should we hold these areas it will be near impossible for the rebellion to attack Oryx in Langerdon with support from outside allies & reinforcements. As for oryx's plans for the rebellion, I believe death is the only plan I see for those rebel scums & as for the world...whatever it is it will only benefit you in your goal." said Zane casually.

"...I see, but don't think I'll trust your words so easily Zane. I know you have other goals besides helping Oryx keep his rule." said the strange girl "Oryx must keep his rule over this world for many reasons but I must say...it's annoying hearing your words from a fake. Do you distrust me that much?" said Zane "...I'll be taking my leave now Zane. My times at it's end to be here." said the strange girl as she exited the building from the backdoor while Zane still sat in his chair.

- Dark Heart & Sahail (Both Criminal Underworld) - currently in Shivering Moors

With Dark Heart now dead Sahail started to feel a strange pain in her reattached left hand "W-what's this pain? it...it hurts! it hurt's so much!" said Sahail in pain a she held her left hand tightly with her other hand. Sahail's remaining 5 shadow clones suddenly disappeared in a burst of shadows & Sahail suddenly fell to her knees still holding her left hand increasing the tension on her hand until her left hand just come off without warning along with the black matter which held it together. Sahail gave a slight scream of pain trying to withstand the pain of again losing her hand, until sahail noticed some black matter slightly still on her wrist "W-what's this?...it's black matter. I thought Dark Heart said the black matter would only hold as long as she lived. Did she do something else to me?...darn you Dark Heart! whether or not your dead I'll find out what your hiding even if I have to rip apart your body." said Sahail slightly angry now, Sahail turned to her shadow self "YOU! go get Dark Heart's body & take it back to Pandora's cave at once!" said Sahail as she picked up her left hand that fell off.

"That little intruder that's looking for me will most likely find me soon without my clones keeping her busy. But I don't plan on fighting her or anyone like that Eclaire just yet, I still need to read up on that Zanzia book & maybe do a little bit more research on the past war. But it would be rude of me to leave without a least leaving them a little present hehe." said Sahail as she then put her cut off left hand near the fireplace she was reading near until it caught on fire, Sahail then tossed it at a bookshelf which started a fire "I almost feel sorry for these old books, almost hehehe." giggled Sahail as she faded into a shadow rip on a wall while the fire she started soon grew bigger & bigger consuming more & more books & quickly spreading all about & heading to Fiora & Jasmine.

Meanwhile Sahail's shadow self appeared near Dark Heart's lifeless body & quickly consumed it in shadows causing it to seep through the ground. Then the shadow on the ground quickly ran off along the ground heading for the village of Pandora.

- Rei (Neutral) & Yagyu (Seraphim Order) - currently in City of Ruin

The moment Yev clenched his fist tightly & growled Yagyu could feel his frustration as if it were her own. As Yev then begun pacing back & forth it made Rei feel a bit scared of him & what he'll say to Yagyu. Soon after Yev's answer to Yagyu was no which made Rei feel a bit relieved for Yagyu but for Yagyu she still felt some guilt to how things went & are now. As Yev & Aqua mentioned & spoke about Rei Yagyu lifted her head up from eyeing the floor in guilt & spoke up "I'm sorry to say Yev & Aqua but, Rei can't use any magic. From what Rei told me when I woke up in bandages she healed me through advanced medical treatments that she learned from the elves in Shivering Moors, & that she not only learned from them but improved their methods of medicines too. This is also the main reason I think she'll be of good help to us, having a person who can save another from near death injuries without the use of magic could come in handy & allow our healer magic users to reserve their magic energy." said Yagyu rigth before she looked towards the still nervous Rei "I will agree with Aqua that even I haven't seen if Rei has any powers other then her skills with medicine & that I can't really judge what areas shes good in besides a healer. But at the same time I believe if she were to join us her area should be as a healer as we need them more than anything else right now." said Yagyu as she turned to face Yev & Aqua while Rei just stood there nervously twiddling her thumbs.

- White Heart (Neutralcurrently aboard Rufus's pirate ship

After hearing Rufus's crew members positive thoughts & words about White Heart joining Rufus's crew White Heart's positive gauge filled up quite alot causing White Heart to show a small smile even tho White Heart has no emotions. White Heart then noticed that she hadn't said anything about her being a robot yet & decided to confirm this fact to Rufus along with the other questions asked

"I give you my thanks for agreeing to my request captain Rufus Contralto. I, White Heart, am indeed a humanoid robot created many years ago before the war & I require no food nor drink nor do I ever tire or need rest to maintain active. As for your questions, my creator is a woman named Blue Heart, but she often goes by the name Rei. My purpose in this world, I have 3. My main purpose is to seek out living beings like you humans & to observe them & see how they react, feel & think so that I may learn from them how to behave around you living beings better. My other 2 purposes I can not log into as they seem to be locked & only to be accessible to 1 form at a time. I can offer you my services with my abilities of tracking, flight & combat skills. Should you need to track something down I'll be able, should you be in a fight my learning pro can fight them off as I'll be able, should you need me to fly or carry someone or thing across the sky I'll be able. My other skills are locked to my other forms tho captain Rufus Contralto." said White Heart softly.

White Heart then nodded "Meeting the rest of your crew would help me greatly so I will choose yes for that option captain Rufus Contralto. But before I do, can I request where it is you are headed to captain Rufus Contralto?" asked White Heart.

- Rufus Contralto - Neutral - En route to Hylvania -

First of all, I implore you to call me by my title 'Captain' or just 'Rufus'," Rufus laughed, clapping the robot on the shoulder twice good-naturedly before realising that she was made of sturdier material than himself.  "Second, I am heading to Hylvania, a lively town in the northwest where we have connections.  'Twould be grand to get some fuel reserves for tomorrow, and sleep in a bed rather than a bunk."

He smiled wistfully as he looked at the lowering sun under the shade of his hat, wondering at what hour it would be in Hylvania.  He had no sense of time beyond where he was, and whether it was earlier or later the further they went west.  He turned back to his new crewmember lackadaisically with a light grin.

"Excuse me for a minute, Cor Lucis, as I peruse something from afar.  Lelita, Pogo, I'll be prepping for our arrival.  Keep firm hold of our flying fortress in the meantime!"

"Not quite sure if that's how you say 'Hold down the fort,' but aye, Cap'n!" shouted Lelita from the helm.

Stomping his foot, Rufus formed a finely burnt mark on the deck beneath him and prepared for a backwards summoning by placing his hand on his chest.  His eyes closed as he felt the ripple of dimensional forces curling around him tightly, but the other four signs of success ceased.  He opened his eyes in confusion, not feeling any difference in his location but a noticeable drop in his magic, and quickly realised that he was still on the ship.

"Perplexing," he thought aloud.  "For some reason this is not working.  My marking must be befouled or there's not enough space nearby, but that's impossible.  I marked the ceiling of the general store!"

Another try, another failure, and Rufus groaned as a wave of fatigue washed over him.  The spell took a full gulp of his magic reserves even if it failed.

"Ah well," he muttered under his breath, dotting the sweat on his brow with his newly withdrawn handkerchief.  "We'll have to do things normally, in that case."

Vortludo -- Seraphim Order -- City of Ruin: Gardens

"I will follow wherever you lead." Vortludo said in typical gentlemanly fashion. He went with her, arms interlocked. He loved the feeling of her. Not anything specific just her near him. Truly, he had no idea what he had been missing in his life before he brought her over to his table that time in the bar. But being with Ava made him feel so full and complete. The Noble wondered what life would be like without her. As they sat upon the swing, he listened carefully to her question. Then Vortludo nodded. "Of course my dear." He answered honestly. "We all change from day to day, from moment to moment. The Vortludo that was just enjoying a meal with his brothers-in-arms is not the same one that is sitting here with you now." He said. "But specifically, when I met you, you were enslaved by Teka. In freedom, you have truly blossomed. It is only natural. A heavy burden was lifted from your shoulders, and now you are here. More beauteous, kind, and in general a better person." Vortludo finished.

Stark -- The North -- Hylvania

Stark was blown back by another blow from Crota. The blade he had carried had dealt damage, but not enough. He untransformed, and sat up, mildly injured. He pressed his palm to his head, the headache that always ensued after transforming still coming in strong. But he had no time to be injured. No... Nym was there atop Crota! Stark watched as the ship began to fly away, and acted fast. He lunged forward, and threw a clod of dirt into Crota's eyes. He leaped up and grabbed Nymeria by the scruff of her neck, tossing her into the ship. He ran after them, leaping into the leaving vessel just in time. Stark groaned and coughed. "Sis, next time please just board the ship. For me?" He whispered. Then he stood up to his full height and looked to Jeremy. "We're glad for the assistance. Reinforcements were not anticipated, especially in such large intensity. But could I get your name Commander?"

Kinzoku & Ryonne -- Opposing Sides -- Siege of Kaipora

Kinzoku smiled and blew a kiss to Victoria. "Sweetie, I'll deny whoever I want, whatever I want." She said, the words sounding very threatening but her sickly sweet tone muddying the waters of her intention. Ryonne shook his head, and surged forward once more, slashing swiftly disgonally. Kinzoku simply dodged backwards, coming up against the wall of her stadium. The Swordsman continued relentlessly, lunging towards her. She leaped off the wall and over her opponent, sending a metal knife at his back. He wheeled around, and sliced through it. Ryonne didn't stop though, and dashed forwards again. Kinzoku dodged to the side though, and Ryonne continued, lashing out towards Indy instead. Kinzoku looked to Victoria and flung a few orbs of metal at high velocity.

The Doctor -- Messiah -- Hovering Over Shivering Moors

The city below had descended into some sort of chaos. He wasn't really paying attention to the monitor he had set up with a camera feed of the goings-on belows. It might be problematic. But, it wasn't his problem this time. No, best save things like this to the public faces of Messiah. He was quite content working on what he had to do. His notes and data had been lost to the Empire unfortunately. So, he had to start from scratch. Recreating the Super Soldier Serum (the SSS) had been simple enough, but he only had one dose with what was available. He had heard that Gabriel was up and about now as well. Combined, they could make another Spartan suit. That'd be helpful to somebody. He swiped the Spartan suit idea over to Gabriel, the notification soon to pop into Gabriel's inbox. But there were other things that could be done. The Doctor sighed. He really needed more Tanzynite here if he was going to be helpful at all. But, he thought that another Immortui tanzynite would be possible. He thought about his old boss, the late Emperor Korben. Producing computer minded unstoppable warriors would definitely be in his wheelhouse. But Eclaire probably wouldn't go for it. Alternatively, he could make some more compound tanzynites. Storm Lord and Hell Lord would be efficient in dealing damage. But once again, Eclaire would not be a fan of those side effects. The Doctor sighed. Work was a lot harder when he had to care about morality.

Neena Mors -- Tanzynite Crusade -- Langerdon: Palace

Neena crept about the palace, silent as a mouse. From shadow to shadow. Death would strike someone today. After her disagreement with Ariana, she felt dirty. She needed to renew her vows. Fortunately, right by her house there was a whole palace full of people just dying to be assassinated. All the guards had some form of dosage of tanzynite, so she was full lethal right now. Of course, she still kept quiet. It wouldn't do to go loud. While she could take care of herself just fine, even the entire Imperial Army stationed here, not to mention their special projects, mechanical and tanzynited. She would fall to that eventually. It would take a while, but it would happen. So. Quiet. Silent. Hidden in darkness. She would find a target soon enough. And the world would be one step closer to cured.

-Eclaire-

"Excuse me, away from my wife."

The leader of Messiah limped in past Jasmine. "Fi...c...could use a heal..." she whispered, before falling straight facedown. She clearly was badly hurt all over, and her armor vaporized into crystal shards, leaving her in her normal clothes.

-Jeremy-

"Colonel Hunter, Messiah." He told Stark. Panting, he collapsed against a wall. "I'm with Eclaire Tonnerre. No we didn't die, yeah we're alive and right now we're going to go ahead and take back this world. Tired of evil gods screwing with it I swear."

Fiora - Messiah

Once the Sahail clone was vaporized by Fiora's lightning bolt, she stopped moving back. However, she kept alert. She gazed around in the hopes of spotting any other clones, or even the real one... However, a loud whistle from behind her made her jolt and quickly twirl around. She was relieved to notice that it seemed to be someone that was on her side. She listened to his request to join her. "I wouldn't mind that at all. I could use all the backup I can get..." She was then interrupted by the sight of a woman limping into the library and towards her. "Eclaire!" She let out a gasp as she tried to pick the woman up. "Wh-what happened...?" She muttered, just before smelling something odd...

"That's... smoke." She looked around, quickly noticing the spreading of flames coming towards her and the others. "We need to get out of here, now." She managed to keep calm. If she panicked now, this could end badly. She lifted Eclaire up into her arms, then turned over to Jasmine. "Quick, follow me. If that woman is behind this, she's probably left by now... We'll have to find her outside, after I heal Eclaire." After saying this, she made her way towards the exit, being careful to keep Eclaire comfortable while she did so. It didn't take too long for her to get outside of the library, and she eventually found shelter in a building a little farther away. She wished that she could do something to save the library, but her lightning magic wouldn't help, and she needed to save Eclaire. She just hoped that this would serve as cover for long enough to get the two ready to fight again. Once she set her sudden patient down, she quickly got to work on using her magic to heal her.

Indy - Empire

Once he had adjusted to the new setting, Indy decided to set some rules for the fight. He glared at Kinzoku. "As much as I hate to agree with her, leave the girl to me. I need to be the one to kill her." Shifting his gaze over to Victoria, something finally clicked in his head. "You're... a goddess?!" His eyes widened as he shouted. Ugh... I have a goddess chasing after me? As if it wasn't bad enough when I thought she was just an ordinary girl... A sudden attack from Ryonne was enough to bring Indy back to the fight. He ducked to the left of the blade. The slash was too fast for him to completely avoid, although he noticed it in time to only get a small cut. It stung, but he could still fight. "If you're getting in my way, I'll make this quick." His body became wrapped in flames as he began to charge a fire attack. He quickly shot out a fireball towards Ryonne. It was a little small, but it would do for now.

- Yltriss Hyulli - New Empire - Aboard the Oathkeeper -

Yltriss awoke from a fitful sleep, but for the first time in a while it was not because of dreams but rather due to restlessness.  Perhaps this was due to the fact that she was dressed warmer, or that she had eaten, or that she was feeling the relief of the tanzynite addiction's washing away, but a sweet sensation of truly living, even if she was inside a cell, made things so much brighter.

That was not to say that she was going to be passive, however.  With an enjoyable series of stretches of her lithe, energy-fueled body, she leaned down to the ceramic cup she was given and after throwing it against the wall picked up a shard.  With it, she got to work, bending down on all fours and carving into the floorboards large, crudely made letters.

After carving the word "I WANT" into the floor, she was sure that the guards in surveillance would be rushing into the room, pinning her to the wall and prying away any utensil that was not nailed down, but nothing happened.  The place seemed like a ghost ship, and she its only occupant.  Smiling, she continued scratching her demands into the floor for the rest of the half hour, widening and deepening the furrows.  When all was done, she was satisfied with her work and travelled over to her bed to rest.  Emblazoned on the floor was "I WANT CHICKEN."

- Kaspar Ulrich - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin -

Blood driveled down the necromancer's hand as he scrutinised his work, an elaborate circle finely etched into dusty, recently carved grooves and filled with a red substance no one could mistake.  A cupful of blood was nothing to him.  A wound like this was nothing to him.  With his unhealing magicks, the flesh knit together in a warped and twisted fashion, folding in on itself as if sutured and leaving behind a ragged scar.

Murmuring dark incantations in a language long forgotten by common man and scarcely remembered by elves, he stretched forth his bloodied hand and called forth an eldritch, shapeless haze filled with the wispy forms of spirits.  Whispers reverberated within his skull, the half-words unbalancing his sense of time, and once he found a wraith he sought he reached into the cloud before him and ripped it out.  The soul was ensnared by the throat, its form still human and not maligned by wallowing too long in the pools of death.

"What news have you of the world, dead one?" he inquired, staring into its clouded eyes.

Most of what it said were not words at all, but rather faint garbles of images.  An army, rampaging Hive soldiers, a family burnt to a crisp by elite elemental mages, death, destruction, mayhem, the hasty glimpse of a sword brought down to where one's neck would be--Kaspar recognised little of what was shown, but the city Kaipora caught his attention.

"That is all from you," he replied, letting the form be dissolved back into the haze of death.  "You are not worthy of my legion."

It was not long before he reached in again, however, and pulled out another form, this time an elf with regal, haughty features.  Like before, it was gripped by the throat and unputrefied.

"What news have you, nameless one?"

"I . . . am not nameless," said the wraith, its eyes unclouded and staring back at him.  Kaspar saw vivid images this time, revealing entire events.  The revealment of a man in a white mask especially caught his eye, featuring a power he had never seen before.  The wraith spoke on.  "I am . . . Paul Lotus, a general of the Order."

"You have demonstrated a great service to me," Kaspar wheezed, eyes shining in interest as he grasped his dagger and marked the spirit's cheek, an inflamed red sigil left in its wake.  "Await my call in eagerness.  The pool will not deface you yet."

The wraith fell back into the tumultuous cloud, and the door to the netherworld was closed shut.  The encircling ring of red became black as age robbed the blood of its colour.

Many a good find on this day, Kaspar concluded mentally, entirely pleased, and two great servants may be reaped from this harvest, but the day has not ended yet.  Much needs to be accumulated before the sun comes up anew.

-Jasmine (NPC) - Seraphim Order - Shivering Moors Library -

Jasmine was, needless to say, surprised when the leader of Messiah came in soon after he did, limping past him and falling to the ground like a sack of potatoes.  The woman was horrifically wounded, but still managed to travel this far.  She certainly has tenacity, Jasmine thought, eyeing her with subtle astonishment.

However, like Fiora, he caught the scent and sounds of the library going up in flames, and prepared himself as a result.

"Go on ahead of me," he commented to the healer, not turning as water gathered from his hands to fight the flames.  "I'll come as soon as I can."

With a great amount of water, he gushed it to cover the ceiling of the burning section of the library, stretching it thin to quench every flame on every square inch.  Next, he released it in a drizzle, little by little, so that the majority of the flames ravaging the library died down to little more than small embers or smouldering books.  He came close to falling on one knee, the effort of moving such a large body of water taxing but little more than that.  This was nothing compared to what he would face from the librarians' scorn for soaking their books, and he surprised himself by chuckling at the thought.

Turning to leave, he tailed Fiora and Eclaire by following the trail of blood left behind by the Messiah's pink-haired mascot.  All the while, two thoughts ricocheted within his baffled head:  "Wife?" and "How in the world did she find us?"

Kavris - Kaipora

He smirked.

"Give up now?" His muscles relaxed and he assumed a pose of almost casual philosophical conversation amongst the raging battle. "My dear foe, the real nature of the game doesn't reveal itself until you're skirting the line of death itself. That's where life truly lies. Your fiendish little Empire, as darling as it is, seeks a sense of order in this world. But us- you and I- we understand what order really amounts to; a false hope for those who don't see just how close their death is."

Kavris played with the handle of his blade as hundreds died around him. "To live and see just how fragile life is. For example; your empire had hoped to capture this town once more. To reclaim it. To control it."

A gigantic explosion rocked the city, and it kept growing. The ground splintered and cracked, furious shards of red earth ripping out from beneath it. The last little bit of fun. The time-shifting Tanzynite had been strange and complex. This was just the basic explosive stuff, though. Nothing too fancy, just a lot of explosions. Did the trick every time.

"But you won't be reclaim or controlling anything. Not when this city is a smoking crater and your army is a shattered remnant."

Kavris had always known the city would fall, but he wanted to make sure it was at least spectacular.

As a huge amount of what was once Kaipora's road split open and dragged a cart under into the red abyss the government building behind him began to resound with shrieks and cried. It didn't matter, they'd be gone soon to.

Now for the exit.

Kavris did a small salute to Isaac and then vaulted up to the roof of the the nearby council chamber building, pulling himself up with more effort than he cared to exert. He scanned the rooftops. The city was shaking and shifting with every moment, but he found a path that just may work. He leaped to the next building over as nearby buildings collapsed and continued roof to roof toward the city's outskirts.

Now just to see if that curious general would choose to follow him or retreat...

- Zane - New Empire - currently somewhere in Langerdon

As Zane still sat there on an old chair in an old rotting building he thought to himself out loud with his hand just under his mask "...It's only cause of Zack I gave you that eye girl... & to think she seeks nothing but revenge for her sister even at the cost of her own heart, the other is lost in revenge itself...is this why you wanted me to guide them my dear brother Zack?...I also have a feeling that Kurome isn't on my side anymore..." said Zane thinking out loud. Zane then stood up off his chair "I better report back to Oryx & see if he has anything for me to do?" said Zane as he then warp'd away, Zane soon reappeared within the main building near the throne room of Oryx. Zane walked through the hall heading to Oryx but he soon found himself approaching Dex "Dex, is Oryx in the throne room? & what have you been doing as of late in my absences to help Oryx's rule?" asked Zane curious to know.

- Sahail (Criminal Underworld) - currently in Pandora's Mountain Cave

Sahail had made it back to the village of Pandora's mountain cave & had her shadow self bring Dark Heart's body to the same location. Sahail had her shadow self place Dark Heart's body on the rocky ground with a little lantern nearby her to light her view of Dark Heart's lifeless body, "Even when your dead you still piss me off with the fact I couldn't kill you myself...darn you!" yelled Sahail as she slapped Dark Heart's lifeless face hard. "Now then, how shall I get my answers from you is the question?...ah, I know." said Sahail as she took out the Zanzia book from her clothing "I know the goddess of chaos Eris created your race for the sole purpose to erase order & bring about chaos to all things & to kill off all angel races & anyone who dear hold or use angel powers or their blood. It's all in CH3, hehehe gah! d-darn it! That pain is coming back again, but why?" said Sahail to herself. "It's because your body is trying to reject my blood Sahail" said a voice from behind Sahail, Sahail quickly turned around to where the voice come from only to see a ghostly image of Dark Heart standing behind.

"H-how the hell are you still alive?!!" yelled Sahail as she drew her gun pointing it at Dark Heart's ghostly self. "I'm not alive anymore Sahail, but rather, I have just become your whisper. A whisper is a ghostly image of a dead Zanzia that only those with their blood can see & hear them. A ghostly image of myself is being formed from a part of your mind were my blood has reached & my blood lets me act & speak like myself through your minds view" said Dark Heart's whisper "A whisper?...that's one of the chapters in that Zanzia book, I really should read the rest of that book later on. So how did you inject me with your blood & when?!" said Sahail in an angry tone "Hehe, it was then I reattached your left hand with my black matter. I'm surprised your not dead yet Sahail, I thought my disease would have killed you off soon after I reattached your hand but I guess my races unknown disease effects it's host in different ways. For me it was a crystallizing disease" said Dark Heart's whisper "tell me 1 more thing, what did you mean by my body rejecting your blood?" asked Sahail a bit calmer "My blood is flowing through your body slowly taking over your own blood & your body can't seem to handle the change, there for it's rejecting it causing you pain. But if you eat some of those black shards from my dead body which hold more of my blood you can speed up the process of the takeover & your body will undergo a kind of transformation into a black matter holder. Also your missing left hand will be replaced with a new left hand made of black matter. But you won't be able to form anything with it since your human" said Dark Heart's whisper.

"So what your saying is, by eating more of your black blood shards I can attain new power?...hehehe, my, how kind of you Dark Heart to give me this opportunity." said Sahail as she wasted no more time talking & quickly started eating heaps of the black blood shards until, "Gah! ha! arghhh!! AHHH!!!" screamed Sahail as she quickly fell to the ground holding her sides in heaps of pain which she found extremely unbearable "Wha-what's happening to me Dark Heart?!! Your said I'd gain new power from eating those darn shards!" screamed Sahail pissed out & in heaps of pain angrily eyeing Dark Heart "Hehe" smiled Dark Heart's whisper as she walked over to Sahail crouching down near her "Did I forget to mention this kind of transformation brings you to the point of death & that you will suffer tremendous pain until it's over, I've only ever seen 1 other person live through this transformation." said Dark Heart's whisper. Sahail was starting to lose herself under all the pain she was feeling "Oh, one more thing Sahail, my names Kurome." said Dark Heart's whisper with a smile while Sahail looked at her from the ground with her vision slowly starting to blurr.

- White Heart (Neutralcurrently aboard Rufus's pirate ship

"Very well, I will use either of those you wish to me called by Captain. Your target is Hylvania." said White Heart as she took a moment to search her memory banks "I have no knowledge of such a town existing in my memory banks." said White Heart slightly tilting her head to the left wondering if the town even exists at all. White Heart just stared at Rufus while he looked off to the lowering sun in the distance wondering what he was thinking & why he would look at a lowering sun in the first place, soon Rufus stomped his foot on the deck & a strange mark was beneath his feet. White Heart's eyes quickly begun scanning his actions "He's magic supply has greatly dropped. He must be using a kind of magic" thought White Heart still continuing to scan his actions.

After watching Rufus try again & fail again White Heart's eyes saw his magic supply drop again, White Heart then thought to ask a question "Captain, I would advise you restrain yourself from using such massive amounts of magic energy & if need be, let me other my magic energy for such magic use Captain. My creator Blue Heart installed a freezing blue energy drink maker in my left arm" said White Heart as she grabbed her left hand turning it around until it come off revealing the insides of her left hand to be a kind of cup that just filled itself with nice cool refreshing blue crystal looking water "Here Captain, drink this to regain your lost magic supply, my creator Blue Heart installed this drink maker in me as she often overworked herself & needed more energy." said White Heart as she offered Rufus the energy drink.

-Yevgeni- Seraphim Order - City of Ruin-

The blond stopped pacing by the long window, bracing a hand against the worn brick.  Aqua certainly seemed approving of Rei, though perhaps she felt he was more desperate for recruits than he preferred to give the air of.  While it was true that the New Empire's armies were strong, and they would need every ounce of manpower that they could get just to stand their ground, he didn't want to seem needy.  No one would take a leader serious who seemed at all desperate.  Finally Yev shifted, turning to face Yagyu as she spoke on Rei's behalf.

"I will admit that this is not what I expected," he uttered, his voice barely above a whisper.  "However, because you both see value in Rei, I am willing to give her the opportunity to be one of our chief medics.  If these terms sound acceptable to you, Rei, consider yourself a member of the Seraphim Order.  Welcome, and I hope that you will enjoy your time here.  We will be departing at dawn, and I believe it would be fine to have a good healer on board.  Feel free to help yourself to the lab, make up a number of remedies, and be sure to get yourself some good rest.  You all are dismissed."

The Seraphim leader started to make his way toward the door, yet paused before Aqua and offered her a hand from her seat.  "I do hope we can look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning aboard the ship.  If you cannot make it I understand, but I think Rei would do well to have someone by her side throughout our journey."

On that note he left the three women as he briskly left the meeting room, his white cloak billowing widely behind him.

-Ava - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin-

The tenderness of Vortludo's words merely brought a tear to Ava's eye.  She turned from the noble, glassy eyes overlooking the pond in the distance.  Crickets could be heard playing their song around them, breaking the silence that threatened to engulf them.  "A better person, you say."  Her expression darkened.  "It's funny that you say this, because I hardly think so.  True, I may be working for the Order and helping people, but I'm also a traitor to my home, my family.  All of the people that were important died because of me, because I failed."

She could not continue, there was no way that she could continue fighting the torrent of tears if she did.  Instead she shook her head, burying her head into Vortludo's shoulder.  He was so strong and warm; truly a comfort to her wounded heart.  For quite some time she sat there, silent, before finally composing herself to begin hoarsely.  "I am fighting because I want revenge, Vort.  I'm fighting because I can't accept things the way that they are.  Is that really what is making me a better person?  Am I better?" Why was she breaking like this?  So far she had been so strong, seldom expressing herself and maintaining that positive hero air.  Was it because Rei had mentioned her mother?  How silly.

"Anyway, I am being selfish," she murmured, sniffing slightly.  "You need your sleep before we depart tomorrow.  Before that, though, do you think you could do me one favor, Vort?  Please?  What is it that you dream of, when this war is all said and done."

-Isaac - New Empire - Kaipora-

The ground jerked, causing Isaac to sway on the spot.  He threw an arm out to steady himself, as he listened to the hundreds of voices screaming in unison.  What was happening didn't seem good at all.  For the first time in a while, Isaac felt that he was fighting a battle he could not win.  He stole a glance into Kavris' face, the smug look of satisfaction upon it.  "And how do you picture yourself better?  Through destruction, taking so many lives?  This war is pointless, do you not see?"

Apparently Kavris--and most others--didn't share his views of war, particularly the siege at hand that was costing so many their lives.  Before Isaac could blurt more, Kavris slipped away, saluting him sardonically before disappearing up the roof.  He didn't fully understand what Kavris did with that rocket, but it was certainly taking its toll on Kaipora.  Isaac merely watched as Kavris' form disappeared above, causing him to growl in frustration and shake his machine gun.  One of the men beside him stepped forward, brandishing his own gun on his shoulder.  "Orders, sir?  Shall we pursue him?"

To go after him, or not?  That was certainly a question, though now there was no time.  "No," Isaac stated finally, shaking his head.  "We evacuate the city.  I don't understand what that psycho did, but whatever it is is wrecking the town.  Have our men fall back, and let us save as many of the innocents as we can.  Our job was to claim this city, not to see it fall."  The dark-haired man turned, his gaze falling upon the ninja against the wall.  A sigh escaped him, shaking his head as he turned.  "We will settle our differences later, my good man, unless you have a problem with me evacuating this place while we still can?"

At this the tower groaned, an unsettling noise that would leave a pit in anyone's stomach who happened to be nearby.  Suddenly a wall started to cave in, stress breaking apart a wall at its center as beams struck out.  Isaac's eyes widened as he stressed the urgency of escape to his men.  He pointed a finger at the door.  "Go, quickly!  Let's move!"  After his men charged forth he followed thereafter, ducking to escape from protruding beams before barrelling out of the broken-down door.

 - Maxis (bloodied) -Dwarf mines - Assisting Jadis.

"What." Maxis replied to the dwarves, in a flat tone. They were willing to follow him...and not Jadis? well this was unexpected for sure. Maxis quickly glanced at Jadis and back at the dwarves. "Hm." He pondered for a second.

"First of all you guys do not need to follow Eclaire if you don't wish to, she'l probably sent you all into a suicide mission to gather paper and ink or some nonsence, you'l listen to me and Jadis, understood?" He proposed.

He tried to remember what Eclaire ordered Jadis to do...even though the order wasn't at him, he thought he'd mind as well proceed with it. "Alright then, dwarves, you are to come to woodarc with me and Jadis, to the east, shouldn't be too far. We do not wish any of you to fight unless you volunteer, we need your crafstmanship and resources for the upcoming war. If you wish to fight then just say the word. You're free to leave some dwarves at the mines if you so desire, to not slow down the mining you are all doing." Maxis ordered.

"And if we win the war...I promise you dwarves will have a place to call home other than a mine. That and the assistance of a highly technological military force with spaceships and gundams...I mean Mechs." Maxis corrected himself, Damn he needed to re-calibrate his suit, he didn't mean to say that.

"Anything you want to add Jadis?" Maxis

- Henry - Neenry alliance - dealing with women.

"Or you're just really lucky"  Henry joked as he opened the fridge and looked inside...it wasn't as filled as he'd hope, but he did found some chocolate milk and a bottle of whiskey he "borrowed" from a liquor store a while back. He grabbed some glasses, one for each of them, and poured the drinks. Giving Ariana a glass of whiskey and Ciriel a glass of chocolate milk.

He quickly drunk his whiskey cup in one gulp, This was nothing to him, and he put the, now empty, cup on the table. "Nothing like a strong drink." He said as he then looked at Ciriel. "I know from just looking at you, and the fact you haven't tried to kill me yet, you're with someone, what do you want?" He asked Ciriel with an unamused look on his face.

- Dex - Empire base.

"Hm?" Dex turned to Zane as the man spoke to him. "I think he should be, and i've been preparing for the assault at Kaipora, I will move out there in a few moments, with some backup ships as Taken ships have reported a highly advanced vessel at Kaipora." Dex explained the situation to Zane.

"According to Taken reports we've won Hylvania with the help of Crota, and hopefully, he holds his position in the city, as an surprise attack is still possible" Dex commented.

- Xicor - New Empire - Streets of Langerdon.

Xicor strolled around the streets of Langerdon to see if everything was going okay in the taken military outposts in the city, he didn't enjoy having to be the one supervising everything, but Oryx wanted someone he could trust on the job, that and Xicor's clones were handling the brunt of research and all. He was also checking up on the outposts to make sure any information about wanted people had been acquired.

He was nearing an outpost right now, with dozens of guards, all clad in special medium armor, to give them good protection and movement, but with some heavily armored personel too.

- Draksis - New empire - In pursuit of Chrysalis -

Chrysalis would find herself tailed by what seemed to be pitch black darkness projectiles, with almost perfect tracking and turning speed, and they were catching up to her at a pretty fast rate. it was Draksis's attack, but where was he?

The taken ship took heavy damage from both Kusanagi's and Chrysali's attacks, but as it began to catch on fire literally in almost every part of it, the ship turned around...and began flying straight towards the Kusanagi ship. with what seemed to be boosted speeds, as a grey aura envelopped the ship, it was its final attack, a ram. As the other Taken ships that remained began to open fire onto the Kusanagi.

One of the ships began charging a laser attack, which took a few moments to charge up before firing, the laser would deal possibly heavy damage to the Kusanagi's shields or hull.

Draksis and Kalameet (his pet dragon) flew through a cloud, which was masking them from up high as they began to fly at Chrysalis at high speeds, possibly catching up to her, as the projectiles kept creeping closer to her.

{Ciriel - Messiah: Langerdon}

Ciriel inwardly cringe at Ariana's question. Saying what she was might alienate people, but lying wasn't the best course of action. Half truths might work.

"Fallen angel." She answered free a moment. "Woke up in the world without me ch memory, or clue why I was there."

She thanked Henry for the milk and took a sip.

"So, to get all the cards on the table, I work for Messiah, under Eclaire Tonerre. We are building up connections and recruiting new members to take on the Empire, the Order, and anyone else who pops up, trying the tyrant shtick. Having you on our side would be a boost and better ensure the over throw of the likes of the Taken King."

{Nymeria - Neutral/The North: Hylvania}

Nym was surprised when Stark grabbed her, but she knew enough to go limp and let him drag her alone. Ending up in the ship was another surprise for her. Why were they trusting outsiders?

As Stark spoke to her, she started to shift back to human form. She wanted to scold him for his his double standards. If he could risk his life, why couldn't she? Why should she run when he was fighting?

But here and now wasn't the time to argue this with her brother. Not with company. But Nym did give Stark a look to say that she was holding a rant in.

"So, what do you want for helping us?" She asked Colonel Hunter, a bit of hostility in her voice.

-Jeremy-

He looked up.

"Well, I was hoping for military support with overthrowing a God of Chaos and restoring order, but a cup of coffee would be fantastic. Or pizza." He looked up, panting. "Listen, I just needed allies. I just need...I need help. My world's crashing down and all I can do is fight. But alone my song will fail, so...yeah. I saved your asses so like, we all can get together and take back the world. End slavery, end Oryx, bring back Zion, you know." He looked back at Nymeria, boring into her eyes with his cerulean irises. "The job the Order was supposed to do, before it was taken over and turned into a murderous entity."

-Chrysalis-

The problem with perfect turning and tracking, was when it was turning and tracking someone who was near godly. Chrysalis grinned and poured the speed on, and as the ship charging it's laser began...well, Rika suddenly pressed her back to the hull just below it...and teleported, letting the bolts smash into the Taken ship, altering it's firing line to avoid damaging Kusanagi, which unleashed a full salvo upon the ramming ship as it altered it's course lower...that, and the ramming ship suddenly was being torn apart by multiple attacks by Kirin, who had detached his attack and now was taking out the engines. Jazz kept it up, but right now, Victoria was needed..but she was busy.

-Victoria-

She lowered her sword...and charged at Indy. "You...IDIOT!"

-Eclaire-

She grimaced soon, and opened her eyes. Reaching up slowly, she cupped Fiora's cheek.

"...Hi dear. How was work?"

-Ariana- Neenry Alliance -- Langerdon-

The raven-haired woman gratefully took the glass of whiskey.  It tasted a bit more bitter than she preferred, but it would do.  This had been a very, very long week, after all.

Just as she was drowning her miseries in whiskey, Ciriel's words drew her attention.  "Hmph, fallen angel?  Those are rare.  Wonder what it took for you to get kicked off Team Archangel.  A demon boyfriend, perhaps?  That often gets them every time."  She was feeling bitter, though it was not very fair that she was taking it out on Ciriel.  Ariana hardly cared, however; she'd been detached from her feelings for quite some time.

That was, however, until Ciriel breathed a word regarding Eclaire.  Ari coughed, the whiskey she'd choked on burning her throat.  She wiped her mouth, placing her glass on the coffee table in front of her before gripping her elbows.  "Eclaire . . . .  So the succubus traitor did survive.  I knew the rumors of her death couldn't be true.  She was always too strong for that."  Immediately her thoughts went to Chrysalis, life filling her deep violet eyes once more.  She leaned forward in her seat, her gaze meeting Ciriel's.  "Does this mean that Jeremy has joined Eclaire, and his sister?  Rika?"

Her heat skipped  a beat at the very thought.  Perhaps a sliver of hope remained for her to find her dear girl after all.  Would she still forgive her, now that she has fully broken free from the empire's manipulation?  Only time would tell, but she was more than willing to find out.

-Jadis -- Messiah -- Godolvia Mines--

The dwarves held an unreadable stony expression as Maxis spoke, though afterward a few nodded and others muttered among themselves.  The dwarf who had spoken originally--presumably their leader--raised his axe, likely to silence his crew as he spoke to Maxis.  "Indeed, we would like to leave these mines and expand our business beyond that of Oryx.  We will not fight right now, not until we meet Eclaire with our own eyes and she promises us freedom and profits.  Should she ever back down on her word she would not survive, of that I can assure you."

Jadis straightened, glancing down at Maxis from his perch.  He did seem confident, albeit soaked with blood.  Why was he so heavily respected while Jadis was nearly slaughtered?  He climbed down from his ledge, finally leaping down to land alongside Maxis.  The blue-haired mage stole a glance at Maxis before taking a few steps forward.  He strolled straight before the dwarven leader, his stench nearly causing Jadis to wrinkle his nose in disgust.  "As Maxis said, you do not have to fight.  We will organize a meeting with Eclaire for you, and there she will discuss the terms.  I can assure you, however, that Eclaire will treat you fairly and not go back on her word.  Soon the empire will take even this mine from you.  They cannot be trusted."

For a moment the dwarf and the elf locked eyes; a battle of wills, it seemed.  Finally the dwarf snorted, nostrils flaring as he glared at Jadis.  "Very well.  Take me to Eclaire, from there we will settle our deal.  Me name is Gregor, and Jord here will come"--he gestured his axe toward his companion, a red-bearded dwarf who looked nearly as dirty and disgusting as Gregor--"the rest of me crew will set back to work.  Give us the runaround, and I swear by me axe that I will hang ye hands on me wall."

Jadis merely crossed his arms, glancing at Maxis and nodding.  "That will be fine.  Let us be off."  The young mage returned to Maxis' side, raising on to his tiptoes as he whispered, "thank you."

--Yevgeni -- Seraphim Order -- City of Ruin--

It was not a restful sleep that greeted the Seraphim leader.  Instead it was plagued by nightmares: shadows of old faces, the stench of blood, and memories of trying and yet failing to save those dear to him.  The sights of his mother's murder were flashed before his eyes, even if he wasn't there to witness it, and his sister--his dear Veriti . . . .  The poor girl suffered a fate worse than death before her body's eventual deterioration, something he could never forgive himself for until he set things right: made her torturer's pay dearly for their existence, and bring her back into the world which she belonged.

Finally Yev decided enough was enough, and threw the covers off before leaping out of bed.  He strolled to the window, the pale moonlight bathing his face.  Yes, things had been strange since he'd begun tampering with necromancy, and he knew it was a forbidden art for a reason.  Still, it was his only chance at bringing back his sister, and it was worth every risk in the world to him.  Even if it meant . . . .

He closed the curtain, leaving himself in the dark of the early morning.  He dared not think about the consequences.

It was a battle whether to decide to try grasping for more sleep, or to prepare for the day's travels, yet he decided to go with the latter.  He dressed in a fine burgundy silken shirt, black trousers, and a matching cloak of a paler maroon and golden trim, bringing out the golden strands of his hair magnificently.  All was silent in the old ruined castle as he stepped into the hall, with only a few guards scattered about to bring life to the otherwise desolate halls.  What was there to prepare with a castle full of sleeping people?  Not very much, especially since everyone deserved their rest before they embarked upon a battle of a lifetime.  There was one thing, however, that did interest the blond, something that he'd wanted to speak with their newest recruit about and yet never found the opportunity nor privacy to do so.

Down the stairs he went, encountering only a few guards as he traipsed down into the basement, to visit the very dark mage that could hopefully help him set things right.  Drawing a breath and holding his torch high, Yev rapped his knuckles on Kaspar's door, hoping that the man was everything he suspected.

- Rufus Contralto - Neutral - En route to Hylvania -

Rufus glanced at the blue liquid sloshing inside the cup with a look of surprise, astounded for a number of reasons but nonetheless thirsty.  Kindly thanking the girl and ensnaring the cup, he tentatively took a sip and was marveled at its unique flavour.  It was like nothing he had ever tasted before, and significantly better than the tonics his potions master had given him long ago.

"This . . . is fantastic stuff!  What's in it, I wonder?  Ginseng, taurine, electrolytes, maybe some ethanol for bite, and it is perfectly chilled, too.  You must have quite the refrigerator for an arm.  I'm guessing R60 insulation's in there or some sort of enchanted cold spell.  Don't ask me about the first.  Worst days of my life there."

The great sensation of revivification surged through him quickly as he drank on, his magic swiftly returning to him in surplus and stamina almost entirely recovered.  Maybe if he finished the last gulpful his fatigue would have been fully gone, but he did not want to waste it now that his arcane reservoir was restored.

"White Heart, I thank you for your great kindness of potions provision.  I would especially love the recipe, should it be known to you," he complimented, shifting the cup to his left hand and shaking White Heart's hand with his right.  "By Jove, won't Master Ralleoleo be jealous, if he's still alive.  Newt-eye swamp sludge, while accomplished and effective, is enough to make someone gag by sight, smell, taste, and name!"

- Kaspar Ulrich - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin -

It was the wee hours of the morning, and Kaspar was burning the midnight oil as he usually did, fell magicks weaving about him in scripts of the old tongue.  The air was saturated in fetidity as a new portal of green and purple flames slung itself around and around in front of Kaspar, revealing to him creatures of darkness wrapped in shadow.  They were the Venerated, five necromancers of old that sloughed off their mortality, but in doing so lost themselves and became raw power.  Kaspar would have wrinkled his nose at the sight of them, had he a nose to wrinkle.  What good was power if one cannot use it?

"Forgotten kindred," Kaspar started, "I have come anew to gather your power and bestow your rich blessing upon a new soul."

The forms turned to one another, spectral with nothing under their garments.  Not even a thought of their bodies remained, their minds merged into a twisted, multitudinous entity.  Icy blue jewels dangled from outside of their cloaks on rings and pendants, reminding Kaspar of his own jewel on his finger.  He hid it among his robes absentmindedly.

"Too long have you not graced us with veneration," said one of the five, its voice like a rockslide and just as dangerous.  "Your promised faith offering of ten and one souls is overdue."

"Apologies for the delay, but they were difficult to gather until recently," Kaspar wheezed, his head bowed low.  "The tenth has been collected two days ago, but the eleventh I aim to keep."

Five gazes without eyes shot through him.  He knew he was playing a dangerous game, but he was determined to win.

"And yet you seek our audience," a second commented.  "Your thoughts are to alter the bargain and strike a new one.  How long are we to wait for this next faith offering should we deign to bestow upon you new favour?"

Kaspar licked his parched lips with a dry tongue and stated, "Fifteen days is all I need, and fifteen souls for the harvest.  Last time was thirty for eleven, but I'm sure more for less time is a deal few can match.  One of your Carbuncles, however, I have need of."

The Venerated were silent for a time before a third spoke up.

"Very well.  You will have our accord, and the bargain is struck, but know that should you fail our business will terminate, as will you.  You have until dawn to relinquish your ten souls to us, and one of the hexes upon your jeweled finger shall be lifted."

Kaspar narrowed his eyes and checked his ring, the gemstone darkened with a curse only to be lifted by the Venerated themselves.  Kaspar swore under his breath, recognising the doubly ingrained death spell for both life and unlife.  Meanwhile, one of the five's pendants was released from its owner's garments, and it slowly penetrated the barrier to be caught by the fell man.

"All shall be as you command," he muttered, a low bow following shortly thereafter before a twist of the wrist broke the connection between the two spaces.  The portal dissipated without a trace, and the magic scripts in the air did the same.  "A fool am I to think they would grant something for promises again, but in the end this"--he held up the pendant to eye level and smiled into it--"is worth thousands of souls in the end.  A second Carbuncle is in my grasp, and soon to be worn by him or me."

A knock at the door could be heard behind him--a faint thing, but one that made Kaspar inwardly grin one search spell later.

And here is the appointed one.  What fortunate tidings it is to know that Fate has led these events to fruition, thought Kaspar as he approached the door.

"Come in, young leader of the Seraphim Order, come in," he voiced lowly, his bony hand grasping the handle and tugging the door open in the meantime.  "What brings you to this door so late at night?"

((Jasmine will be up sometime later.  He might have only one or two more posts before he's retired.  His brother Paul is dead from the exchange with Zane's troops, but he might make a cameo later due to Kaspar's soul scar.))

Aqua-Seraphim Order-City of Ruin

Aqua sat up in her bed just having awoke. Her sense of dread had lead her to have a manner of odd dreams. This with her own nervousness made her feel slightly ill. It was this that made her get out of bed. Sitting around and mooping wasn't helping her in any way.She took a few shaky step from her bed. Her own mind was playing tricks on her. She shook a deep breath, then another, then a third. She needn't let bad thoughts stop her now. She let her eyes wander over to the window. It was still dark out. Her sigh was louder than it needed to be,but it did help her feel slightly better.

She was now clean and dressed. It had passed the time for her and she knew she wasn't going back to sleep again. Her dreams wouldn't help her feel any better. She looked out the window. Another sigh passed her lips. She was still too early to leave her room without waking someone up. She knew most were earlier risers, yet there were many that weren't.
