- Rufus Contralto and Dwarf (Ol' Yella) - Neutral - Outside Krile -

Ol' Yella was oblivious to the quick peek into his wild yellow eyes, gazing quickly at the puncture wound at Deuce's neck, analysing it with a manic stare, and sweeping underneath a cupboard to grab a poultice.  The bandage he pulled out reeked of herbs and mineral oils, almost enough to choke on the smell, and was abnormally small, just enough to cover the puncture wound.  Ol' Yella merely placed it on the wound and it sat there, stuck like glue and sealed with a dark, crimson rune on the top of the poultice.

Dwarves had only a basic runic system of magic, but they were excellent alchemists, metalsmiths, and medicinal healers, having a wide array of materials in the earth that can rarely be found anywhere else.  Magic and medicine formed a beautiful symbiotic combination, as Rufus knew too well.  After all, Rufus and Ol' Yella had the same teacher.

"Almost as good as new," Rufus spoke with a grin, patting Deuce on the shoulder.  "Still there is the wound, but skin knits quickly and will be fixed within two hours."

Ol' Yella grinned as well beneath that bush of a beard and rushed off, proceeding to chop off the rocktail's head and place said head in a pot of peeled vegetables.  Nobody likes the remnants anyway, so he threw those in the slop bucket.

Deuce - outside Kirle with Rufus and co

As soon as the appointment was finished Deuce gave one of the signature Orient bows knowing only that it was used to

"I honestly don't know what to say. I am grateful for your aid." As he said that however his eyes began scanning the herbs and the rune. It was all fairly new to him and he couldn't help but wonder what was in those herbs. True the odor was awful but then again so was Arian's after a long day. Just now he realized something. It was a thing he didn't really expect he'd know. He shook it off and turned back to Rufus.

"Not sure if it's right to ask but how come you are pirates?" His words were filled with the curiosity you'd expect from one his age questioning the motive of a man who took the path he's been brought up to avoid.

Dorian /flashback in Langerdon

He ventured out into the market where he felt most at home as it was he didn't really believe what had just transpired with Oryx then again this was all planned. He took a seat on a two sided bench. As he did so a voice spoke from behind:

"You have what you said?"

"No but better. Seems the empire is moving to attack." He said that without batting an eye or moving at all. To most it seemed as if he was just talking to himself.

"Where? How are they moving? How many?" The questions followed one after another as the man behind almost had a heart attack whilst saying that.

"Try to calm down. Payment before information. I don't know who you work for or why you do. I don't know your face, name nor your voice. Let's keep it that way." there was a moment of silence before the other person was prepared to speak. A pouch of coins was passed from one to the other and then weighed.

"Good enough. It's a last second sell so it makes sense there wouldn't be much." Dorian said still not moving. He kept his charade quite convincing.

"Kaipora and Hylvania. Oh and if anyone wants to ask hurry up there's not much time." Before he could finish the one he sold it to began rushing away leaving only the payment.

"A pleasure doing business with you." He smirked to himself and proceeded to stand up and be on his way.

(Arian is still stranded, Jonathan and Grim are still en route to Langerdon and Nalia is still with them and unconcious. I didn't bother putting all that up since it has no relevance.)

Fiora - Messiah

Fiora was a bit surprised to hear that the prisoner didn't want to be healed... However, Fiora wouldn't go against the woman's wishes. Fiora quietly placed the clothes she'd taken on Yltriss' bed, and searched her pocket for the vial that the delivery boy had given her earlier. "If you change your mind about wanting to be healed, the Doctor prepared this for you... I'll put it with your clothes." She placed the vial on top of the small pile she'd already made, then hoped that she would be able to leave now.. Of course, she'd have to stick around a little longer. The elf wanted to know what the real reason for Fiora's arrival was. She paused for a moment, debating whether or not she should lie and say that she only wanted to deliver the clothes. She had to get ready to join Eclaire in the upcoming battle, and didn't have much time to stay behind and talk... It would be best if I didn't tell her. She didn't like lying, but she had no other choice. "I was asked to see if you needed anything. I can come back later to see how you're doing, but I have a lot of work to do right now... I'm sorry." She apologized before quickly leaving the cell. I still need to visit the other prisoner, too... She made her way through the brig until she found another occupied cell. The man in this one looked more... somber. Fiora had a feeling that he was deep in thought about something. "Um... excuse me..." She began speaking, deciding to stay on the other side of his cell for now. "You're... Gabriel, right?" She asked in a quiet tone, though continued talking. "I've heard about what you did in the Empire... I'm not sure what you're thinking about right now, but if you want to make up for your acts... it's not too late. We're always looking for someone new to help, and I'm sure that Eclaire and the others would appreciate your assistance..." She wasn't entirely sure what to say to him, but she didn't exactly want to force him to join their cause.

(Sorry if that seems rushed, but since Sabre's rushing me to get this over with, I'm trying to make it go quick. I can change this part of the post if I need to)

Allitt - Messiah

After flying for a while, Allitt landed near Feldspar, but not directly in the city. She tried to keep cover by some rocks outside the city, although there wasn't a very good place for her to hide a ship. She decided to avoid landing in Feldspar, thinking it might be a good idea to keep hidden at the moment. She strolled into the town after leaving the transport ship, trying to not look suspicious. Of course, the cloak and hood didn't make her the most ordinary-looking person, but attracting attention on an assassination mission would lead to some trouble. She tried to think about where she could find these crime lords and looked around... She noticed a small pub not too far from the entrance of the city. I'm sure I could get some answers in there. She walked inside and took a seat, not bothering to order anything to eat or drink. She tried to listen to the conversations of some of the visitors, wondering if any of them would mention some sort of figure she could go and interrogate soon. She really didn't enjoy spy work, but she had no other leads on where to go. It would have been nice if I at least wasn't alone... She thought to herself, realizing that would make her look a little less suspicious... and a little less bored.

Indy - Empire

Indy listened to Isaac's orders before leaving the ship. It sounded like he'd end up getting to see quite a bit of action if he was heading straight for their base... "Got it. We'll take everything we can." He confirmed before following the charge into Kaipora. His soldiers stayed close, and they split off from the main group to attack the air base. Upon arriving, a group of guards standing outside quickly got prepared to battle, while some tried to warn the soldiers inside. "Go straight for the doors! Kill any of their soldiers that get in your way." Indy commanded, and quickly began running towards the doors that were now being blocked by the guards. His physical appearance began to alter as he prepared to use his Tanzynite powers. He held out a hand towards the small crowd in front of the base's entrance, and a large fireball formed in front of his palm. It suddenly launched towards the building, melting the snow along its path. It seared the clothes of a few guards who managed to dodge the attack, but it did manage to catch the defensive line in front of the doors. A few of those soldiers let out pained shrieks as they were engulfed in the flames. Those who had dodged began to prepare a counter attack, but the Imperial troops began fighting back, and their commander continued to approach the door.

- Rufus Contralto - Neutral - Outside Krile -

Rufus gave Deuce an askance look, surprised by the sudden question, and rubbed his chin ponderously with his eyes reaching up to the squat ceiling.  No one had really asked him that question before, and he wondered what was the best answer.

"A myriad of replies come to my mind, but none cover all involved," he spoke at last, shaking his head like a stumped old man.  "I was a misfit with a lust for adventure and action, and I wanted to hurt the Empire, so I pirated this vessel with the help of two others, both dead, to my knowledge.  Lelita wanted freedom and is the best pilot I can find, so I let her be in charge of the helm.  Harst, Shipman, and Mullins have a history, but they don't care of the job as long as they get paid and treated well.  Ol' Yella and I are boon companions with a connection, learning from the same teacher and taught in the utmost of symbiosis combining magic and potions.  A misfit too is he, a result of tempestuous breeding, but his brain, however loose, remains intact.  I fear only a few realise his true genius.

"Pogo's an interesting one, though.  His intelligence matches his sloppy mannerisms and diplomacy, but he's the most loyal of my crew and stays my first mate because of that.  No one complains about him much.  And Reggie . . . Reggie's beyond me.  Hired was he to be a spotter, but he's a bookworm and an appraiser.  He knows what to sell and what to look out for."

Ol' Yella pounded away at some dough for dumplings in the rocktail soup, and the rattling of too many things from his massive dwarven fists became too much for Rufus to handle.  Beyond that, the slight tug of deceleration forewarned Rufus that the ship finally hovered near the road's location, and he smiled.

"Come, Master Deuce," he shouted as he started leaving the room, "into the hall so your ears don't bleed out, and press the digital button along the way.  We are here."

- Yltriss Hyulli - New Empire - Prisoner on the Oathkeeper -

Yltriss narrowed her eyes at the young woman as she left, a number of questions and assumptions flooding her head.

"This girl truly is too innocent," the elf muttered under her breath.  "She can't even lie without giving herself away with a pause.  What is Messiah thinking, adding her to their ranks?  Is Eclaire just that brainless or is the girl here for other reasons . . . or is this all a ploy?"

Fiora's voice could be heard further down the hall, talking to who she suspected to be Gabriel.  It was a skill she was practicing, overhearing from afar, but she still had yet to master it.  She looked over to the clothes lying at the foot of her bed, a black shirt with black pants, each simplistic yet of excellent make.  Both were too large for her, meant for someone with a stockier, healthier build than her emaciated self, but Yltriss was not able to complain.  The warmth of the reflected heat and the feel of the better material than what she used in her elven robe delighted her beyond complaint.  And then there was the phial that the doctor Julius had made her.

It looked like a sickly liquid, no less dangerous than the tanzynite she had used to inject in her own veins but still had the potential to be poison.  She dared to pop open the bottle to sniff and threw her head back, disgusted with the smell.  Sure enough, it smelled of tanzynite and not a toxic substance, but surprisingly mellow in comparison to other tonics she had smelled.

I must say, Julius has his ways.  There was a time that tanzynite was complicated and time-consuming to make, but those days seem to be long over now.

With a grimace, she threw her head back and tossed the contents of the phial down her throat, nearly choking on the taste.  Hiding the glass container in the shadows of the bed, she dropped to her food tray and nibbled at the meat to calm her stomach into not upheaving the alien liquid.

In the next few moments, the world seemed clearer, the doctor's creation taking swift effect.  Her withdrawal symptoms were fading away, as well as her lethargy, and she sat upright on the bed and stared at the ceiling, the greatest feeling of relief in a long time taking hold on her.  She felt like a newer, better person.

- Gabriel Stross - Messiah - Freeeeddooooom...sort of.

Gabriel was sitting on his bed in his cell, looking down, but he looked up at Fiora as she spoke to him from the other side of the cell. Offering him a chance of redeeming himself, this instantly triggered him to stand up, quickly walk over to his workbench, push some stuff off of it, and grabbing the rifle on the table and walking over to the cell, literally on the other side of it.

"Wait for it..." The Ai spoke as the number pad on the side of the cell lit up green, unlocking the door in the same instant, Gabriel did that with just his mind, as messiah weren't exactly succesful at suppressing his mechromancy, and they kept his Ai with him, which is who he used to hack things from a distance...with something called Wireless connection.

Gabriel simply stepped out and walked close to Fiora, handing her the rifle, a modified Messiah rifle, which shot electric enhanced bullets, with higher power and had more ammo capacity and battery. "Would you kindly give this in for testing?' The Ai asked. Holding the gun towards Fiora, "Or...someone as cute as you would rather take this as a...friendly gift? so no hard feelings in the future? hm?" The Ai asked in a cheerful tone. Gabriel was just going with it, he just wanted to walk out of his cell...and possibly try to help.

- Tolan and Mary -

Both turned their gaze towards Vortludo and Ava, who were sitting at the tables near them. Tolan simply looked over at Mary, who simply nodded with a smile as she walked over to Vortludo and Ava's table, with Tolan following them, Tolan uncovering his face with his attire as he walked over as well.

As they sat down, Mary sitting first and Tolan sitting beside her right after, Mary showing a energetic and happy smile as she sat with them and Tolan with a more serious expression, but with a small smile.

"Vortludo right?" Mary asked, "And you must be Ava" Tolan asked Ava, "How are you two? with all this going on lately?" Mary happily asked the pair as Tolan nodded as well. They both looked at each other before looking back at Ava and Vortludo. "I don't think letting Tolan near a necromancer is a good idea..." Mary snarked as Tolan scoffed. "You're the one that went berserk last time we faced one...years ago." Tolan Replied, before looking at them, "Any ideas on who it is yevgeni is speaking with?" Tolan asked.

- Draksis - New empire - Biromoore -

Draksis kept his arms crossed as Cyler did his thing with Zanza, turning his gaze to Jeremy as Draksis simply stared at him, a hostile aura started being generated and was able to be felt coming off of Draksis, as he stood silent for a few moments.

He would wait before attacking, even if Cyler and Zanza were ducking it out right beside them.

(Will update Mikhail soon. Not a lot to do with Henry, waiting on Ariana's response, and Maxis is still killing.)

- Kaspar Ulrich - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin -

Kaspar looked at the girl Yagyu with an unwavering smile, fixating his gaze on her unique appearance.  She had the air of a power beyond normal human boundaries, but how he was unsure.

"Kaspar Herzog Ulrich, a newcomer to this fine citadel and a guest to the esteemed leader of the Seraphim Order, Yevgeni Malachite."  He spoke as crisply as a diplomat, intending to convince the young one-eyed lady that he was harmless.  "I believe I have seen you talking with him earlier today on friendly terms, but perhaps you did not see me.  Now, if you do not mind, I have a feast to attend."

With a modest bow, he turned his back toward her, churning up an illusion spell to reveal a copy of himself walking toward the banquet hall while hiding his real self.  He did not trust Yagyu probably as much as she did not trust him, and precautions had to be made should she try to make a move.

-Ariana - Neutral - Langerdon-

The woman was slightly taken aback by Henry's sudden outburst.  True, she hardly knew the man, but she didn't think it in his nature to get so enraged, and so quickly.  Her expression remained unchanged upon his words, awaiting his silence before opening her mouth.  "It would seem you have suffered as well, to which I regret but have no control over.  What is done is done, there is no changing the past, as much as I hate to claim it."  It was surprising that Neena then was permitting her exit, without the threat of death (or at least for ten seconds, but that was more than enough time for Ari to flee).

Ariana rose from her chair, studying Neena carefully.  It took great effort for her words to follow, probably because she didn't truly want to voice them to the ninja whom she'd strove to kill only a year ago.  How much things had changed since then.  "What ends do you hope to accomplish, Mors?  True, you are surviving and you have a home, but is that really enough?  Look outside!  Your people are dying, and we all have lost everything dear to us.  Isn't that enough of a reason to fight back?  I have seen you on the battlefield, and I daresay you have much talent."  Perhaps her words were a death sentence, but she wanted to get through to the girl.  An ally here would be beneficial, especially when neither rebellion or imperial territory would embrace her presence.  She brushed stray strands of raven hair from her face, eyeing the two somberly.  "I can never atone for my crimes, and I will admit here and now my heart is not pure, but I want to at least try.  Are either of you with me?"

-Ava and Yevgeni - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin-

(Quick note: Yuffie, I believe Vort didn't respond to Yev's request, though I will move on temporarily to keep the flow going.  Feel free to have Vort hear this and agree, or have him interject something later and we can come back to it.)

A look of concerned shadowed Yev's face as Yagyu excused herself upon his question.  His brows furrowed, yet he merely nodded, blond bangs falling across his forehead.  "Very well.  You are dismissed, Yagyu, but I heavily wish to hear your response before the end of the day, if you will."  His thoughts could not linger on his spy for long, however, as Tolan and Mary immersed themselves around the dining table and sitting near Vortludo and Ava.

Ava straightened herself in her seat as Rei made mention of her mother.  "Yes, she did love me dearly." Her tone was strained, almost distant.  "A mother that any daughter would desire and adore.  I am sure that one day you may have daughters who will love you the very same."  This conversation was not going the direction she'd wanted it to.  Her eyes stung and watered, though she was determined not to let any droplets escape.  That would not go well, especially with Vort sitting alongside her.  Tolan and Mary, thankfully, distracted her from her thoughts, inquiring further about the departed spy.  "That was Yagyu, a new recruit to the Seraphim Order," she replied dully.  "I don't know if she's of any use, though.  She hasn't brought any information to the table of value yet.  How about you guys?  What have you been up to?"

At this Yevgeni rose from his seat, clasping his hands together.  "Well, now that the majority of us are here and seated, I would like to discuss a few matters of importance, if I may steal a moment of your attention from this delicious meal."

A smile tugged at the edges of his mouth, though it was difficult to discern whether it was cordial or sincere in nature.  He sat back in his seat, eyeing each of his comrades in turn.  "This past year we have succeeded in our ambitions.  Eclaire had, sadly, fallen, and we took to great measures in order to rebuild.  Now our numbers are greater than ever before, our men and women possessing true hearts of gold and determination.  I am grateful to each and every one of you, as are the people whose lives, hopes, and dreams depend on us.

"As all of you know, we can never accomplish our true goal with the likes of Oryx upon the throne.  His dominance of the imperial realm tarnishes the dreams we have of a peaceful nation, our hopes of unity and justice.  The lives of many are still being destroyed by his tyranny, which we can have no more.  We have lied dormant for as long as we could, helping our civilians struggle to survive in these trying times.  Now, however, is our time to act."

Yevgeni snapped his fingers, and a woman in sleek silver armor came from around the corner, pressing a button on a remote.  Behind them a screen lit, its image the very remains of the world they lived in.  "Oryx is killing our world.  As long as tanzynite is in the people's minds and hearts this will proceed.  My goal is to rejuvenate the world, not only ridding Oryx from its dominance but also to revive the dying continents that exist within our scope.  This is where I need all of you.

"We need the alliance of our imperial nations.  We need to touch their hearts and bring them to our calling.  We advocate peace, which they need to hear.  I want us to focus our energies on embracing one of our fellow imperial territories, namely Lysengard which has resisted the spotlight until now.  Perhaps they can see reason and understanding.  If not, we will make them.  It is time that we began expanding our horizons.  We have little influence when looking at the grand scheme of things, but this is about to change."

Finally Yevgeni turned to Vortludo and nodded.  "My friend, we are going to see our dream vision.  Together, we will make peace, regardless of our resistance"--Yev then turned to the rest of the table, raising his voice so that all could hear.  "We leave within twenty-four hours from now.  All of you, my fine ladies and gentlemen.  I do beg your pardon for the short notice, but time is of the essence, especially since enemy forces have been shown to stir."

-Isaac - New Empire - Kaipora-

The attack had officially begun, and it wasn't long before Kaipora knew it, either.  Flares were sent into the sky, likely alerting the military members of Kaipora that they were under siege.  Isaac strode lightly through the shadowy city, dawn's light barely making its mark upon the sun-kissed sky.  People in the streets scurried in fear upon meeting his eye, no one daring to take a step up to engage in combat.  This was going to be all too easy of a conquer, Isaac sensed, what with all of the townsfolk cowering and taking cover.  Behind him the sounds of bullets firing arrested his attention, causing him to spin on heel.  Several of his men were shot dead by rebel troops, their expressions pure hate.  Isaac whipped out his machine gun and pointed it at them, tilting his head to shake the dark brown bangs from his eyes.  "We are of the New Empire, and we ask you to stand down.  Any resistance will lead to--"

He was unable to finish his sentence, however, when some of his men from behind shot mercilessly at the rebel troops, causing them to fall on the spot and die instantly.  Isaac's expression darkened, yet he said nothing.  How he hated the tragedy of war, yet it was a necessary evil to restore order.

Isaac then stormed off, his troops shortly in tow.  The building he sought was only a few yards ahead and a man or a woman--he wasn't certain which--was already at the door.  It opened by a short black-haired man, who seemed disappointed.  "Hey, you're not the empire," he could hear him say, to which Isaac abruptly arrived, pointing his machine gun at the back of Shinobi's head, along with Karvis's face.

"No, but I am.  I want a word with this Thagmus Karn and I understand that he's here.  Bring him forth, and if everything goes well no one gets hurt," the general said smoothly, his tone business.

-Jadis - Messiah - Godolvia Mines-

The mage tread carefully into the dark entrance of the cave.  These mines were ancient; they'd existed for centuries, which the dwarves prided themselves in.  Jadis hoped that dwarves still dwelt here, though it wasn't common knowledge if they did.  The dwarves often kept their work in secrecy, probably so that their profits weren't divvied among others and the government wouldn't try to poke their nose into their business.

With a wave of his hand Jadis ignited his lantern, extending it out in front of him.  The pathway below was a steep decline, treacherous if not tread on with the greatest of care.  A frown furrowed his brow in concentration as he carefully made his way down the path, one frail wooden plank at a time.  The sound of his footsteps echoed throughout the mine, though no other sound except for the dripping of occasional water could be heard.  It seemed that the mine was indeed all but abandoned, and after an hour of wandering Jadis considered turning back.  The equipment was rusted, the tracks in a state of disrepair.  Jadis was convinced when heavy footfalls could be heard behind him and rough hands grasped at his shoulders.  He dropped his lantern in surprise, his eyes subjected to the blackness of the mines.  Something cold and sharp dug into the flesh of his neck, most likely a weapon of some nature.  Words couldn't escape Jadis's throat, even though he opened his mouth to utter them.

"Who are ye, and what are ye doin' in our mines, elf?!" a voice boomed behind him, jerking the weapon tighter against his throat.

Kavris - Kaipora -

Kavris's face lit up. He pushed past Shinobi and right up to Isaac.

"Well, it's about time."

The scurrying and readying of blades within the building told Kavris that the city's management weren't likely too pleased at the new guest.

Kavris listened to his new friend Isaac for a moment...

"No, but I am.  I want a word with this Thagmus Karn and I understand that he's here.  Bring him forth, and if everything goes well no one gets hurt," the general said smoothly, his tone business.

Kavris's smile stretched into a Cheshire grin. "Oh, but you see people already have been hurt." He motioned with his head towards the soldiers behind Isaac. "Your men have seen to that. Such brutes, you have no guest-ly manners about you. I'm Kavris, Baron Karn has hired me for sometime as a head of Tanzynite research here in the city. I've been cooking up all sorts of things for him, and honestly I've come to be quite fond of these people." The joyful man lied. "Now you've come into this fair city and harmed and terrorized its citizens. All for your rubbish little king." Kavris was trying to hit all the pressure points.

He danced about as he spoke, giving every word from his mouth a grand complimentary gesture. In his hand he still held the white surrender flag, which shivered in the billowing wind, as it were anticipating something anxiously.

"Listen, I have no doubt that you mean only the best. Just following orders. Such and such, jibbity-jab. In any case it's completley obvious that we're outmanned and out gunned and out... well everything." He bowed extremely low before Isaac, holding only the small white flag up. The flag had an oddly thick central cylinder it was attached to. The white bit of cloth blew back and forth furiously.

"We surrender."

Kavris's finger moved but a tiny bit and suddenly the top of the flag erupted in crimson flame. The flame burst up from Isaac and Kavris and rose high into the air.

It was a flare. Kavris's smile widened and he resumed an upright posture.

"Oh, but before we go quietly into that good night. I figured I'd give our conquers a showcase of some of my work."

Explosions suddenly rocked Kaipora's perimeter, thick loud bursts. Wooden houses splintered in moments and stonework went flying into the air, but then slowed before it even began to fall, end eventually halted, before dancing back and forth between moving away from the explosion that had sent it flying and... moving back toward it.

"Nasty stuff. You see, I found Tanzynite that actually tampers with the very flow of time. I was able to amplify but, but good heavens is that stuff impossible to control."

The explosions formed a perfect circle around the town, and cannons fired up huge shards of Tanzynite which burst into the air, sending clouds sprinting between where they wanted to go and where they just were, and back again. It was just where Kavris had instructed them to place the shards. Suddenly the entire perimeter of the town was ripping apart between the right flow of time and the very very wrong flow of it. Some of the soldiers entering the city gates were torn apart as the air viciously threw everything it could back forth in an indecisive rage.

"So you see, I didn't. I just compacted it into dense little shards and then all it took was putting it around the city and setting off explosives near it."

Rebel soldiers began to expose themselves from houses and shops throughout the interior of Kaipora, where time still flowed normally, aiming towards the Imperial force that had already come through the gates. It became impossible to see outside of the city's perimeter as light was simply tossed around in the explosions' vicinity. Kavris threw the white flag-flare behind him like a child discarding a toy and drew his blade, pointing it up towards Isaac. The Tanzynite time bursts wouldn't hold forever, but Kavris would have as much fun as possible while they lasted.

"Now then, my Imperial friend, it seems you and your men are just about trapped in a city full of rebels with no way out..." Kavris's smirk returned. "Looks like time's up."

{Nymeria - Neutral: The North; Siege of Hylvania}

Nym scrabbled through the battlefield, getting closer to where the mechs and portals had appeared. As she got closer, two of the portals disappeared, but that didn't seem to do much good. She crested a hill to see Arkham fighting.

"More unknowns." She muttered.

Not holding with the saying "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", Nym viewed Arkham as one more threat to the North. Pulling away from the fight, Nym pulled out her radio.

"Give the portals a wide birth, for now." She ordered to the lieutenants. "Let's see what our 'hero' friend can do."

{Ciriel - Messiah: Langerdon}

The dairy truck rolled through Langerdon at a sedate pace as Ciriel stared into the depths of her fresh chocolate milk. She and Ronnie had had a long talk, which had left her stunned.

"You alright?" The Milkman asked, giving his passenger a quick glance.

Ciriel looked blank for a second, then shook herself and nodded.

"Yeah, just processing." She answered, then took a long drink.

Ronnie gave her an apologetic smile.

"Sorry I didn't get to you earlier, but you were busy and I had just picked up some new routes."

"Eh, it probably worked out better this way." Ciriel replied with a shrug.

"Still think Eclaire is a good choice?" Ronnie asked.

"Best option we got. She might actually do some good."

"Just so long as Oryx is taken, heh, out of the picture." Ronnie said, a hint of disgust in his voice. "Leave him alone, and he'll make everything bland and the same."

Ciriel nodded. She had no intention of leaving Oryx out of the line of fire.

"So, where am I dropping you off?" Ronnie asked, his tone back to his normal, cheerful self.

The angel cocked her head to the side, like she was listening for something.

"Next right." She said. "In front of the pub."

"Gotcha." Ronnie said, then made the turn.

With one last gulp, Ciriel finished off her chocolate milk, then put the empty bottle in a recycling bin Ronnie had in his truck.

"Thanks for the ride, Ronnie." She said cheerfully As she truck came to a stop.

"No problem, kiddo." The milkman replied with a smile. "Knock 'em dead."

Ciriel chuckled, then opened the door and hoped out. She waved after Ronnie as he drove away. She wished they had had more time to catch up, but she was on a mission.

"Speaking of which." She murmured to herself.

The Angel turned and walked down the street, looking for Neena and Henry.

As Stark blocked Zane's strike Stark had quickly pushed away from Zane as did Zane from Stark. As some distance was made Zane took the moment to quickly observe his surroundings until he found just what he was looking for, a finishing blow.  Not soon after Stark surged forward rushing at Zane, Zane couldn't help but be disappointed in his opponent's way of attack. Zane's battle experience was far to great to be taken lightly & this rebel scum will face this fact first hand "You humans are all the same Stark. Your out numbered, your out matched & your nothing but outsiders in a world of demons" said Zane as he quickly threw his fan weapon into the air above himself.

Zane then quickly lifted his left knee up to his stomach before letting Stark's blade just pass through Zane's body, Just as Stark's blade exited Zane's body coming down Zane quickly kicked the tip of Stark's blade with his left leg he had held near his stomach causing the tip of Stark's blade to get stuck in the dirt. Zane then pulled the chain's that are connected to his fan weapon handle downward, thus bring his fan weapon down from the air heading down to hit Stark's head from above. "The moment he jumps backwards to dodge my fan attack he will be blown away by a strong wind from my fan sending him straight towards that broken branch sticking outward at us, stabbing him & thus killing him" thought Zane hoping to end the fight quickly & painfully.

- Dark Heart & Sahail (Both Criminal Underworld) - currently in Shivering Moors

Dark Heart walked through the elf village following her nose until she soon come to an old house in the village that looked quite abandoned for some time. "This must be were she's been hiding all this time..." said Dark Heart as she opened the front door entering the old house. As Dark heart entered the room she looked around but all she saw was some old furniture, old books & some old paintings all covered in dust. "Hm...her scent of energy still lingers here but it looks like she's no longer living here." said Dark Heart.

Meanwhile Sahail had innocently found her way inside a massive elf library were books from not only all around the glob were but also books from a good million years ago were too. "Oh...so this place is called the 'Eternal History Of All' is it?" said Sahail as she held one of her guns pointed at a scared elf cowering before her, "Y-y-yes mam, this library was made by us elves m-m-many many years in the p-past & holds h-heaps of info on a-a-anything your mind wants to know t-that exists in t-t-this world" said the cowering elf. "Hehe, that sounds like just what I need. OKAY ELF! I need info on whatever Dark Heart's race is & info on the events that took place 1 year ago before the empires fall...Well, GET TO IT BIG EARS!" yelled Sahail as she shot her gun making a hole in the cowering elf's right ear "R-right away mam" said the cowering elf as he held his right ear in pain quickly running off to find the books she wanted. "That symbol in Dark Heart's left eye has to be her race's mark! look for it!" shouted Sahail to the cowering running elf. "Hehehe, oh Dark Heart, I will find out what your hiding & finding out what happened in the past year will defiantly help me in many ways in this war hehehe. To bad our friendship is merely a tool to me or I might feel sorry for you, hehehe" whispered Sahail to herself.

Soon Dark Heart exited the old abandoned house "It looks like I won't be able to track her down after all...I best get Sahail so we can leave this weak village & see if Oryx has anything for us to do" said Dark Heart as she begun to walk around the village looking for Sahail.

- Rei (Neutral) & Yagyu (Seraphim Order) - currently in City of Ruin

Rei gave a smile covered in butter & bread crumbs to Ava for her kind words before letting her mingle with Tolan & Mary. Rei continued eating in the strangest manner until the leader of Seraphim Order rose up form his seat giving the lay down of everything, Rei couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Oh my goodness! I had no idea the world was in such trouble." said Rei surprised. "So this Oryx fellow has been causing trouble for everyone around the world & no ones stopping him? Where's his mother! I'm sure if we just get his mother involved she can set him straight!" shouted Rei to Yev not fully understanding the whole thing. "Oh my, sorry for shouting everyone..." said Rei as went silent.

Meanwhile Yagyu was in a hallway with Kaspar. As Kaspar showed his smiling face Yagyu's serious expression didn't change in the slightest, As Kaspar turned his back to her heading toward the banquet hall Yagyu's eye narrowed. "So your names Kaspar...I wonder?..." whispered Yagyu as she then quietly moved her right bandaged up arm to her right eye lifting up her eye patch to reveal her red glowing demon eye. Yagyu narrowed her demon eye at Kaspar trying to see what the normal eye could not see, but Yagyu had no idea that the Kaspar she was looking at was a fake illusion. After the fake illusion of Kaspar left the area Yagyu then covered up her demon eye with her eye patch only to feel a sharp sting of pain in her right arm afterward. "Hm...I don't trust anyone but my leader Yev & If he says this Kaspar is okay to stay here I won't object to him. But something about him makes my demon eye feel weird...maybe I'll just quickly check the room he was just in to make sure he's not planning to kill Yev" said Yagyu to herself. Yagyu walked just over to the basement's door hesitating to open the door "Doesn't this room lead to the basement?...why would he want this room?" thought Yagyu still hesitating to open the door.

- Kaspar - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin -

Kaspar onlooked Yagyu's actions from the shadows of the room, puppeteering the illusion of himself to head into the banquet hall before dissolving into a small flash of light and a puff of magical smoke.  His green eyes narrowed as interest lapped at the corners of his mind, and not the good kind of interest.

An interesting eye you have there, my dear, he thought to himself with a quiet chuckle.  I see that patches can hide more than a blind eye, but a red, glowing one is new to even me.  However, your visual power can be of great service to me, whatever secrets it holds.  May our paths cross once again in the near future so that you may tumble into near-death's embrace.

With an unchanging smirk on his illusive face, Kaspar waited for Yagyu to slip around the corner and joined Yevgeni's banquet, taking a seat two seats down from Ava.  The food looked eye-watering and delectable for others, but not for Kaspar.  For him, eating was a thing of the past that he left behind, instead drawing forth the power of the earth and death to fuel his unlife.  Even still, he decorated his plate with a sparse amount of vegetables of various shapes, playing the part and joining in the festivities.

Meanwhile, in Kaspar's recently taken room in the basement, precious little could reveal his presence except the strange swirl of dust that overtook the room and the trace amounts of a dark magic.  The dust could most easily be distinguished if one has a keen eye or enough light (though other means abounded), and the dark taint could very easily be felt as any or all of three things:  cold, sorrow, and the sensation of drowning.

- Paul (NPC) - Seraphim Order - Defensive General of Hylvania -

Paul was near the edge of despair on many a situation, warring alongside a small company of troops against the imperial invaders of Hylvania and watching the dwindling of his troops in the most horrible of ways.  On a spiral staircase a Hylvanian soldier, a family man and one of the Seraphim Order's best troops, was shot in the neck and tumbled down the stairs in hideous fashion, in the end crumbling into a blend of blood and metal.  A few minutes ago, four greenhorn troops were cut down and grappled in front of Paul by a man in a white mask, one of which was his son-in-law.  Rage had built up within him, gathering with each passing death, and now he found the man in the white mask fighting on the battlefield alongside an unknown ally.  Red-faced, he turned to his fellow survivors.

"Fight on and live on, comrades!  I must confront the man that killed Vaan, and rejoice in the knowledge that the battle will end quickly with the death of its commander."

His only answer was a grim silence, but it was nothing he did not expect.  There had been too much death for rejoicing, and none of them were in any condition to even smile.  A little mellower, Paul charged into the heat of battle, aiming his hand at Zane's figure far away.

"Unto the sacred brook rallies young waters from the mountains, channeling its vitality to those who are good that drink from it," he spoke in Elvish, water spinning in front of him in three spheres, "but for the wicked it delivers violence.  Gush forth and drown the wicked one!"

The three spheres burst outward in a torrent, firing in thin, high-pressure streams of water.  One was aimed at Zane and would strike his stomach dead-on, and two aimed behind Zane at two paces and four paces in length from him.  Paul hoped that this would be enough to kill him, or at least put him in a bad position for the mysterious Northern commander to kill him.

-Eclaire-

Once Fiora arrived, she'd find Eclaire standing at the precipice of the Oathkeeper's deck, just looking out at the clouds. She took a breath in, and turned to Fiora. With as oft smile, her hand brushed her wife's cheek.

"I know you want to talk, Fi. But not now. I promise you, once Shivering Moors is with us, you may talk to me all day and night. But right now, please. Watch my back."

Taking Fiora's hand, she then grinned way too evilly. "Also, trust me, right?"

And she fell backwards, dragging Fiora right off the deck and hurtling down towards the ground. She let Fiora scream, and actually found it adorable. but even then, she couldn't let her continue screaming. Her body rippling with darkness, she went Succubus. Flight-able, she spun and brought FIora into her chest, holding her close.

"It's okay Fi. I got you." She whispered, their descent slowing. "I have you."

And so, she landed in the center of the city as the Oathkeeper roared overhead, blocking the sun. Her body rippled and was then covered with her normal uniform, and she advanced. "Shivering Moors." She shouted, her voice silencing all those around. "I am Eclaire Tonnerre! Anyone here who once served the Order of Lux, who now serves the Seraphim Order, who once looked to Langerdon and wished for the fall of the Korbenic Empire!" She summoned In Paradisum, holding it over her head. "I was said to be dead! My vessel, my flagship was said to be rended apart. But do I look dead? Does my flagship, look torn to parts?" She looked at the square. Yes, middle of the day. Always the best time.

"If anyone of the Seraphim Order wishes to come and try and say that Yevgeni, the traitor, is truly in charge, then come. Otherwise..." She didn't move either. "I ask for the help of the Elves. The world is in trouble. And I, I have a plan."

-Victoria-

She frowns. Relaxing, she takes a breath in. "Jazz. Assistance protocol in place. Take control of Kusanagi. Kirin, continue." She stood. "I have somewhere to go." Leaving Jazz to not break her ship, she stepped out and right into the airfield.

She took a breath in, and summoned her sword. Of all the places...

"Oh Zion, your sense of humor..."

-Jeremy-

"...okay, this is interesting." He leaned back, floating. He seemed pretty chill. "So, yeah. Someone tell me like. What is going on, who are you people, and firetruck the "Seraphim Order" and also, do I look lame enough to follow that insult to real Nephilim? No, no I don't. I'm Jeremy Hunter, ex-Captain of the Empire, and second in command to Eclaire Tonnerre. Any more questions? Good."

Deuce: With Rufus and co outside Kirle

Deuce's face lit up the moment Rufus said they were nearing  the location where the cryo pod was. After the words were uttered he eagerly followed Rufus to the hall following the one instruction he was given. However as soon as he reached the main deck he came into a state of shock.

"This ... This has to be a mistake ..." He fell down to his knees and stared at the horizon. It was just one step off from tears for him. Didn't they care? Of course they did right? he just kept silently looking everywhere hoping he missed them but much to his dismay nothing anywhere. He was told about this some time prior by Grim. Any member of orient to leave the group under his own will or by chance will be left behind no matter if it's the leader or anyone of significance.

"They're gone ... Just left ..." He felt those words escape him and he felt as if he were about to pass out. Another panic attack was not needed and he felt a tear go down his cheek. After he got a hold on his emotions (more or less) he stood up and wobbled backwards leaning against the mast. Questions surfaced and explanations appeared everywhere but he couldn't rationalize any of them. He went as far as invasion probabilities or any crisis that would excuse it but again nothing.

"What do I do now?" He said out loud turning to Rufus but soon understood that what he was asking had no chance of finding fertile soil. He sniffed then sighed and began regaining what little composure he could.

Kinzoku -- New Empire -- Siege of Kaipora

Something bad was going on. Kinzoku could tell from her position on the walls. She snapped her fingers and sent another piece of metal flinging into a rebel's face as she watched carefully on the walls. And suddenly the explosions ripped everything to pieces, an Imperial soldier below her was torn to shreds and Kinzoku flung herself into the actual area of the town, away from the temporal distortion. Eating dirt, she coughed for a second before getting back to her feet. She stared at the wondrous tanzynite empowered shield. The Metal Mage thought she could see something just outside the walls. She leaned her head to the side curiously, and discovered that it was a man.

Ryonne -- Messiah -- Siege of Kaipora

Ryonne had dismounted his vehicle a fair bit away, and then run the rest of the way. He had caught sight of the explosions, and had turned up his speed a notch, hoping to get there in time to understand what was going on. He made it to the gates, and peeked through into the town. Something was very very wrong. The Swordsman held out his hand, created a small dagger, then flung it into the town. It didn't make it far before becoming stuck, then turning in on itself as the object tore through multiple timelines. He heard a sharp giggle, and looked to the source. A young girl, a teenager by appearance, who was stifling laughter at his predicament. Ryonne gritted his teeth, and clenched his fist on the hilt of his blade. He couldn't get inside to help the rebels. Slowly, both of them were surrounded on opposite sides of the temporal shield, by their opposite sides. Their eyes met again, Ryonne's glare doing nothing but earning a mischievous grin from the woman. And they both set to work, butchering opposing soldiers.

Vortludo -- Seraphim Order -- City of Ruin: Banquet Table

(oops my bad Mystic, that one slipped my mind)

At Yev's request, Vortludo had nodded shortly. He of course knew this. Kaspar's art had dark origins, but Vortludo felt that he was far more helpful than he was dangerous by all means. The Noble would still follow through on Yevgeni's orders of course. If that was to be his job, then he would do so. Vortludo listened eagerly to Yev's speech, and smiled broadly. This was perfect, exactly what they had been waiting for. Now they could truly do what they were intended to in the first place! After Rei's silly little outburst, which was followed by a moment of silent shame for the odd woman, Vortludo stood up from his seat, his robes flourishing around him. He grabbed his goblet of wine off of the table, and raised it high. "A cheers to the triumph to come!" He exclaimed, desperately hoping the others would follow his lead.

Cobica -- Seraphim Order -- City of Ruin: Outskirts

Cobica burst through the entrance ahead of the two royals, leaping down from the plane, ignoring the exit stairway. He stretched his arms to the sky dramatically, then began walking back towards the gate. "Alright, so Jynn, buddy, we can't just go marching into the Great Hall. Well, we can. But the soldiers need to head to the barracks. Should be plenty of room. Hopefully. The hangar is on the far end of the island, bring your planes over there. Have the pilots say that Cobica sent them, and if they aren't let in, I'll beat the shit out of them later." He spoke casually as he headed towards the entrance to the main base. "To the left of the Great Hall is the barracks, their mostly underground, once again just give them my personal message and you'll get yourselves set up. I'm assuming you have all your organization set up, so I guess you'll just be added to the soldiers we have." Cobica reached the gates, and pushed them open. He looked back to Jynn and his wife. "Get your soldiers that message, considering they didn't hear me. After that, we can get going to the banquet. If we're lucky there's still food and booze left over."

Neena -- Tanzynite Crusade -- Langerdon Apartment

Neena looked at Ariana. The woman had decided to attempt again. It had been ten seconds. Neena had counted in her mind, even as the Demoness spoke. "I am fighting back." Neena said, in scarcely more than a whisper. "Every single day, I save a life. Have you seen the world outside of this door? Chaos. Destruction. When Oryx came, he unleashed the entire body of criminals that Korben had been holding back. Women raped, honest establishments razed to the ground. It may not be much, but I do what I can. A single arrow of mine can save an entire family's livelihood. What do you think I've been doing this past year? Lazing about in a bed despairing over what could have been? No. I have been saving lives. Let the Seraphims and the Empire fight their wars. I'm one person, I can't make a difference in one of those. But here, here I can change the course of fate with a snap of my fingers." At this, Neena snapped her fingers. A burst of dark flame exploded and then extinguished just as fast in front of Ariana's face. "I haven't lost sight of my goal, and I will complete it. But for now, directly saving innocents is far more important than my crusade, and especially more important than your quest for your lost dog. So maybe I should ask you instead. Are you with me?" The Assassin spoke. Then she turned away from Ariana and began to walk back towards the couch. Her food was going to get cold. "And if you aren't, get the hell out of my house, or I swear to Zion, Oryx, and whatever other deities are out there watching that I will kill you, then incinerate your body."

Stark -- The North -- Siege of Hylvania

Stark let go of his blade, and went with his first instinct. He caught the fan blade in a clapping catch. His hands had enlarged, and grown fur, and claws were quickly becoming evident. Stark glanced to his enemy. "You got one thing wrong in your little speech there," He started, his teeth lengthening and sharpening as he spoke. Stark threw the fan into the ground, getting it stuck similar to his own blade. "I'm no human." He said, looking Zane in the eyes, his head having shifted into that of a wolf, staring him down with a predatory gaze. Stark noticed the water mage coming, but did little to take advantage of the positioning, of the attacks. Because now, he knew nothing but to kill. Stark grabbed his sword once more, ripping it from the ground, then pouncing forward with the speed far faster than that of a human. The Young Wolf slashed downward with a two-handed grip. The strike was so powerful that when it hit the ground, the steel shattered. After this, Stark did not hesitate, dropping the blade, now fully in wolf form, he surged forward, striking with both claws outstretched.

- Rufus Contralto - Neutral - Outside Krile -

The older man looked on at Deuce's nervous reaction with a scratch of his bushy head, not entirely sure what to do.  Rufus long knew that he was pathetic with kids, let alone with women to have a son or daughter of his own someday, and Deuce, being of an age between youth and adulthood truthfully unfamiliar to him, was hard for him to understand.  However, he did understand abandonment, and that sparked an idea for action.  He was not about to leave Deuce to his own devices in his time of need.

"Surely there's been a mistake, Master Deuce, or worse yet they actually think you to be dead.  In search for them we shall take great precedence, but taking care of ourselves is of utmost concern.  This ship will be running out of fuel soon.  Lelita!"

"Aye, Cap'n?" cried the helmswoman from the raised portion of the ship.

"Turn the ship back to our home port, back to Hylvania before we fall out of the sky."

"Will do, sir," she spoke with a smile, the expression mostly at Deuce's still remaining on the ship rather than the thought of returning home.

"As for you, Master Deuce, we are in grave need of a mechanic on this ragged, ill-sought-after ship.  My crew and I have little knowledge of how to repair things, and any help you can provide us would be of great assistance.  That is, if you'll have us as comrades before we get you back to your blond-haired crier of 'Deuce' and other assorted friends," he added with a wink.

- Jasmine (NPC) - Seraphim Order - Shivering Moors -

The Cinnabar General, quite like many of his fellow elves, glanced above the town and saw the strange shape of an airship looming over the town square, blocking the noonday sun with an eclipsing shadow.  It was not often that an airship crossed the borderline of the elven homelands, usually in the form of high-class personnel and goods transports, but this seemed different than both.  It just hovered there in the sky, and to Jasmine's eyes it was a threat.

Paul, my elder brother, is this the unrest you are feeling right now? he thought to himself, feeling the burning sensation of loss in his chest and the ache of strain in his muscles.  Are you being beset by a similar fate that is to become of us in our very own capital?

A cry came out, a scream from high above, and Jasmine's eyes narrowed.  His hands fumbled for the tanzynite injector gathered in his clothes and, upon catching a proper hold of it, fired it into his bloodstream.  Water frothed at his feet and was ready to surge toward the falling woman to stop her descent, but instead she was snatched up by someone else, someone with wings.

At first he could not believe his eyes, but it was so.  That someone with wings was Eclaire, and she was alive and well.  Nevertheless, he was wary.  As she spoke to the crowds of Shivering Moors, he felt a sense of unease in her persuasive words--as Paul would have, he thought in check to himself.  Pushing forward in the crowd, almost bowling over a few elves in the process, he fought his way to the centre of the square.

"What mean you that Yevgeni is a traitor, and what plans have you in store for the world?" he boomed, trying his best to match her coverage of voice.

He had to admit that he did not like the eyes of his countrymen watching him at this moment.  Outside of his shining red armour, he looked almost like every other elf out there, excepting his thick muscles and his proud features.  In addition to that, public speaking was not one of his strong points, but to prevent himself from being torn away from the stage and booed away by the crowd he kept his turbulent eyes locked on her and his feet firmly planted underneath him.

[[EDIT:  Changed Rufus' destination to Hylvania.]]

Jynn & Riley Venas- Seraphim Order (Landed in City of Ruin)

Proud to finally be serving the Seraphim Order, or in Jynn's mind, the Rebellion, he complies and gestures to his warriors to do as Cobica commanded, knowing that they listened. All of the planes headed for the hanger and the pilots are reminded to announce Cobica's allowence, and all the ground troops head for the barracks. Jynn and Riley then follow Cobica. "A banquet? Oh good. I need to get some kind of food in me." Jynn replies. "And a well-deserved drink to relieve the stress that you gave me today, scamp." he thought to himself. Riley remained as silent as a mouse. She looks at Jynn, knowing that he is exhausted from the constant nagging from Cobica. She then leans towards him. "Are you going to be okay, Jynn?" she whispers to him. Jynn just nods his head. Riley then starts to recollect. "So the Seraphim Order is the new name of the Rebellion, with a guy named Yevgeni leading it. But Jynn says that Yevgeni could have darkness inside of him, and Jynn doesn't know what's causing it. Hm............ I should be careful." she thinks to herself.

-Yevgeni and Ava - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin-

The entire table fell silent upon Rei's outburst, likely both in shock and horror.  A slight frown creased Yev's pencil-thin brows.  "I think his mother is a bit out of our reach now.  What did you say your name was again?  I believe Yagyu thought you would make an excellent recruit, yes?  What do you have to bring to the order, my good lady?"  Truthfully, he was starting to second-guess her, given her odd mannerisms.  As quickly as he asked the question he shrugged it off, namely because Vortludo proposed a toast and rose from his seat.  A wide smile crossed Yev's face as he rose alongside his friend, raising his goblet in like.  His emerald eyes sparked.  "Indeed!  To peace and unity!"

Many, if not all of the table, rose from their seats, cheering and clapping.  Yes, this is what Yevgeni wanted to see, and he was the host of it all.  The new world he pictured was perfect; soon no more unnecessary deaths would take place, once they raised their own flags upon imperial territory and cleansed the earth of tainted blood.  It would require sacrifice, something that Yevgeni was willing to pay.  His world, however, was going to be the dawn of a new era, one that he would pride greatly in achieving.

Ava, too, rose from her seat and raised her goblet, clinking it gently against Vort's.  This news is indeed what she had wanted to hear.  Recovering villages was fantastic, but not when so much was left in need of doing.  A soft smile crossed her rosy lips, tainted a darker hue from her lipstick.  "You were right, Vortludo Prince, as you predicted," she murmured softly over the cheers of the table.  "Who was I to ever doubt you?"

-Ariana - Neutral - Langerdon-

"It would seem that we both have our own objectives in saving this dying world."  The tall dark-haired woman strode to the door, tilting her head so that her hair left her face.  She tilted to steal one final sweeping glance at Neena.  "You have a good heart, and good motives.  I wish you well, for you're one of the only things that these people have left for them.  I despise what the war has left this world in.  I hadn't seen it for a year, and I daresay that Korben would've died in shame if he'd lived to see what happened to Langerdon."

With that, Ari strode out the door, shutting it behind her and leaning against it.  A deep sigh escaped her, the streets far from quiet.  That was a fruitless effort, as many of her attempts had been.  Everything she did seemed like nothing more than a waste now.  Was there even a purpose in her existence anymore, at all?

-Jadis - Messiah - Godolvia Mines-

Words could not escape the elf, the blade of the rusty axe digging deeper against his throat.  Lanterns were flung around, dancing amongst the dwarves that surrounded him.  There had to be nearly a dozen of them.  Suddenly his captor shook him violently, drawing blood from his tender pale flesh.  "Speak!  Or are you a mute?"

"I--I am Jadis Sorein.  I was raised in Rhasolvich and come to you in the name of Messiah.  We are a peace-seeking nation, and we need your help.  Please.  The world is dying and we want to change it."

"And what is a lil ol' elf like you going to do to change it, eh?  EH?!"  Jadis' captor threw him into the dirt, his knee grazing against the old railway that the mine carts once frequented.  "Them elves be here for our treasure, boys!  We can't let him return!"

Jadis's eyes widened upon the dwarf's claim, elbows still on the ground before him.  "No, please, I tell you the truth!  Eclaire Tonnerre sent me to--"

"Eclaire Tonnerre is dead anyway, you runt!  You speak nothing but lies to charm us!  That's all that your race does and always has."

Heavy footfalls charged from Jadis' left.  It was his time to act, if he ever would.  He quickly cast a basic fire spell, engulfing the nearby tracks and the approaching dwarf's feet.  He howled in surprise and pain, stomping to attempt putting out the fire.  The flame's light danced off many surrounding blades as the dwarves pulled out pickaxes and swords, though Jadis was already on his feet and began charging to higher ground.  He couldn't flee.  No, he needed to prove himself to Eclaire, and in order to do that he needed to get them to listen . . . .

Somehow.

-Shinobi, aka: Ayane Takahashi - Neutral - Siege of Kaipora-

The arrival of Issac was not entirely unexpected, as Oryx's Forces were preparing to storm the place when she arrived, but she was a little bemused by the Machine Gun pointed at her head, even if it wouldn't be the most effective thing in the world, Armour and all, but she did turn to face him as Kavris exited to confront the hostile newcomer. What unfolded as he did was...new, even for Shinobi, as he seemed to trap Issac and the remaining New Empire Forces inside the city for them to pick off.

The Armour-Clad Ninja smirked beneath her helmet visor as she looked to Kavris, impressed by his actions and confidence.

"I came to ask if you needed my help, but it would seem you have some of this under your thumb at the very least....however, you have my Sword." She said, her voice masked as always before she telekinetically unsheathed her sword, blue energy surrounding it as she commanded it to cut the Machine Gun, hoping to neutralize Issac's weapon.

-Arkham, aka: Nolan Vigil - Neutral, Fights for Zion's and Eclaire's Will - Siege of Hylvania-

The Gate Lords were not too happy with Arkham's slaying of one of their brethren, prompting them to take the remaining power of the fallen Vex and imbue themselves with it, granting them extra "umph" and protective measures reminiscent of Taken Hobgoblins he had seen earlier, but seemingly far more effective in practical usage. The Mechromancer was not bothered, rushing forth to slay more Taken, cleaving the heads of Acolytes with ease and taking down a Taken Knight with a stab to the Gut, with his sword being as big and powerful as it was, was a death sentence for the weak. He kicked away a charging Taken Thrall into several others before stopping to survey his surroundings.

"Okay...Taken to the left, to the left...Taken to the right, to the right...Taken behind me and Gate Lords ahead of me...shit. And, wait...no one here knows I'm one of the good guys. Sure, I am killing Taken but that could just be for Sport..." He said to himself, but his vocal thoughts were interrupted by a Sword-Bearing Taken Knight, with a more elaborate head shape than most, so he meant business and was potentially a Lieutenant of Oryx's.

-Zanza Quinn - Neutral, Supports Messiah - Biromoore-

Draksis seemed to believe Oryx was not nothing but destruction and chaos...confound it all, he was beyond saving. Oh well, he didn't intend to anyway. The approach of Cyler didn't bother him all that much either as he leaped out of the way of his charging attack and landed after taking out his sword and stabbing it into the Ice, channeling Energy to shatter it and dragging the blade across the ground until he faced Cyler and sliced upwards, sending an Energy Wave that wouldn't hit him or anything, merely to deter him, then sheathed his blade as he turned back to Draksis. "I have no quarrel with you, Thug!" He called to Cyler, then his attention was focused on Jeremy and Draksis, the former's declaration of "firetruck you" to the Seraphim Order produced a smirk upon Zanza's face.

"Then you are an ally to me, Jeremy. You may choose not to view me as such but it is how I shall view you. I wish to fight for Messiah, so let us hope we survive this." Zanza said to Jeremy, still keeping his eye on Draksis, his hand upon the handle of his blade. "As for you...are you going to fight or flee?" He said to the armour-clad fool.

-Crota, Son of Oryx - New Empire - Oversoul Throne/Crota's Personal Dimension-

War was coming. The Rebellion Groups were making their moves and Oryx made his own precise, calculating moves like any good chessmaster, even with extra people involved in all of this, all of the pieces played their roles perfectly.

Now, it was time for the "Knight" to enter the fray....more specifically, The God-Knight.

Looking out at his Oversoul, the God Knight and Son of Oryx himself: Crota, prepared to move out, having called upon many Tombships containing his Spawn of Crota Hive Sect to follow him shortly after he enters the Mortal World using his Corporeal Form that he would need to use, as his soul was bound to his Oversoul Throne Dimension to prevent true death and while this prevents him using full power, Crota would not need it...The Great Disaster was evidence of that.

The Hope-Eater then disappeared in a green flash, travelling the Dimensions until a Large Green Hive Portal began opening in the middle of a war-torn town simply called:

-Hylvania-

This portal appeared while several were fighting, one named Stark, slowly expanding in size and making its signature noise until it flashed and in its place, stood the Prince himself, not yet glowing and his form was more physical than it would have been in the Oversoul Throne. He summoned his blade and called out in Hive Tongue while raising it which summoned many smaller portals in the sky, from which immediately and slowly produced at least 5 Tombships, each carrying many Hive and ready to re-enforce the New Empire.

Maxis - Goldolvia division slaughter.

"First I cut deep." Maxis began to literally sing while slashing down a soldier with a strong swing, with grace and finesse as he cloaked and reapeared behind another one, "Then I thrust!" Maxis said as he thrusted his sword through the man's torso. As some soldiers who weren't getting attacked began to open fire at him, prompting his shield to deflect the bullets, as his shield broke, the soldiers ran out of ammo on their magazines, as Maxis simply pulled out his boltor "And I open fire!" He said as he sprayed onto the group of soldiers as they died, their bodies left with large stakes of metal in them, instead of bullets. As his clones kept cleaning up some of the opposition.

One brave soldier though, pulled out a stun baton and struck Maxis from behind, Maxis was without the shield, the stun baton stunning him with a electrical discharge, "Electricity, the fuel of technology!" Maxis shouted as the soldier, horrified, kept swinging his baton at Maxis, who turned towards him, but didn't block, he took three full stun baton blows to the from and one thrust to the chest. "The pain of battle, such a sweet sensation..." He muttered as the soldier attempted a last swing at him, but Maxis simply moved to the left as he grabbed the soldier's arm and broke it, the bone sticking out of the body. "ISN'T IT SWEET?!" Maxis Shouted in delight. as a clone appeared behind the soldier, who was now reeling in pain, and grabbed him by the head, locking him in a standing chokehold. As the real Maxis stood in front of him. His shield had regenerated.

"It...makes me...so delighted!" Maxis said as he put his weapons away and thrusted both his hands at the soldiers chest. the gut area. his hands piercing deep into the skin, as Maxis began to open the poor soldier's torso. "The ripping sensation, the tender flesh being torn apart! this is just one of the many sweet things of war" Maxis said as the soldier dropped dead, and blood was spilt all over Maxis's armor, soaking him in blood. "And with that ends the lives of those who believed in fake speeches" Maxis chuckled as the other clones had finished cleaning up and soon disappeared. Maxis looked around at the pile of corpses. "I think I exhagerated...oh well" He shrugged as he detected a blip in his radio signal, it was located deep below Goldolvia. It was Jadis's signal.

"Hoh boy I nearly forgot about Jadis's mission...I think he might need my help...I can head there, im kinda free." He said taking another look at the now lifeless area. "Yeah..." He said as he looked over the geographical map for any caves, accessing Messiah's databases to find the entrance on his map, "got it." He said, as he cloaked and began heading there, still soaked in blood.

Draksis - New empire - Biromoore.

Draksis stood silent as Jeremy acted both disrespectful and like he didn't care about the situation he was in. if draksis was able to sigh he would. but well, at least the Nephelim and maniac fight was entertaining...for the short time it lasted, which was literally seconds.

Draksis looked at Zanza as he spoke towards him. "Well..." Draksis said as he vanished from his position, and reapeared behind Zanza, his back turned to the boy. "A Nephilim I see, an abomination with no place in the world of men, demons and angels...or some say, some say their appearance is a sign of the end times coming. Some say they are a curse. But I am not here to answer such a question..." Draksis said, his voice strict and serious, but also cryptic and mysterious, "Oh little Nephilim, I am not here to fight but to observe, the worth of ones before me. But if you wish to strike, then do so at your own risk..." Draksis spoke, not summoning his sword, nothing, it looked almost as if he didn't consider Zanza a threat at all. Draksis aura emanating from him, a threatening, cold, lifeless aura.

- Henry - Uneasy alliance - Apartment.

Henry saw Ariana leave the room, he hesitated for a second before looking at Neena, "You know we can't let her leave now right? she knows where we live." Henry said sighing and he stood up from the couch and walked out the door, following Ariana.

Quickly finding ariana soon after, leaning against a door. He approached her, "Pardon me asking, but Neena asked you if you were with her?, I mean, it seemed like you were trying to make allies or something, why else would you come here?" Henry asked her, leaning against the opposide side of the door. "i know what you did in the past, first hand even, I was a lab rat, but not anymore. I changed to...well...I don't know...something I guess." He said sighing, "Look i'l just cut to the chase, what you did before...thats not for me to judge, and at times like these, it isn't fit to fight over the past." Henry said, "So I'l offer you this, i'l let you stay with us if you so wish, and i'l do my damndest to keep Neena off your back. Who knows, maybe you two could work well together." Henry told Ariana as he walked over to her, standing in front of her.

"And if Chrysalis is alive, she will come find you, I know she will, and when she does, i'l be able to greet her too, as a friend. I too care for her you know, until then, what do you say...uneasy partners?" Henry said extending his hand to her, "And before you go all 'you don't need someone like me' Let me tell you this, I am a monster dreadnaught, made for destruction, and Neena is pretty much a ninja murderer and killer of anyone that uses Tanzynite...that includes me but...she's harmless once you get to know her." Henry explained, "A ex-genocidal heartless woman like you wouldn't be too different in this little 'alliance'." Henry finished, waiting Ariana's response.

- Oryx - New Empire - throne room

Oryx saw the events of Hylvania and a grin was cast upon his face when he saw Crota entering the conflict, his own son, honoring his father, he couldn't be more proud of him for being such a warrior...still.

He looked over the situation at Kaipora, and created a blight orb on his left hand. "...Tiriel...are you awake?" Oryx asked, contacting his new subordinate, fallen angel Tiriel, "hello dear, would you be so kind as to help the siege at Kaipora? seems like our troops need some help there. Thanks in advance." Oryx said, contacting the angel from wherever she was located.

In the middle of the room the giant continent map hologram lit up, showing several locations being attacked at once. but one in particular, footage of a fleet being taken out by a single angel.  "Chrysalis...so I see you still remain  among the living....good." Oryx said as with a flick of his fingers the map disappeared. as he watched more events unfold.

- Tolan and Mary - Seraphim order -

"Well, there are people doing something to stop him..." Mary spoke. As Tolan took a sip of his drink, "The Seraphim order." Tolan spoke to Rei. as Yev gave an astounding statement to all, making many cheer and stand up from their seats. Even mary stood up and cheered...Except for Tolan, who remained in the table, sitting, watching the events unfold.

-Isaac - New Empire - Kaipora-

The general shrugged at Kavris' words.  "My apologies, but I strive not to allow innocents to get hurt.  It cannot be guaranteed that they won't, and, 'sides, from what I understand your men are not entirely innocent.  I can't be responsible for people who strike first recklessly."

What happened next, however, came entirely as a surprise to Isaac.  Kavris bowed lowly before Isaac, surrendering, and yet something about his demeanor seemed insincere.  Isaac nodded in response, a grim expression tugging at the corners of his mouth.  He began to stride forward, until the end of Kavris' white flag exploded.  Instinctively, Isaac ducked, covering his head with his arm, as did the majority of his men.  Kavris immediately explained what had occurred before Isaac could even get his question out.  "Tampering with the very flow of time?  How interesting."  Truthfully, Isaac was in awe at Kavris' capacities as a Tanzynite researcher.  If they were not on opposing sides perhaps he could've actually befriended him.  Just then Shinobi struck at his machine gun, which he'd noticed only a second too late.  It heavily dented the gun, the blade of his opponent having deeply gashed the side with a scorch mark.  At this Isaac threw his gun down, raising his hands defensively.

"All right, so I can see that we're playing on your terms now," he said finally, taking a step to the side.  "Or, at least mostly."

He nodded, and a few of his men shot at the light fixtures of the building, casting them in sudden darkness save for the light in the hall.  Leaping into action during this moment of surprise, Isaac snatched the dagger from his side and lunged for Kavris, not to harm him but rather to pin him into the doorframe.  His men locked their guns on the rebellion forces, their consumption of Night Piercer tanzynite enabling them to see remarkably well in the darkened room.

-Jadis - Messiah - Godolvia Mines-

(And yes, the elf could really use an additional hand in this mess, bloody or not. :D)

Jadis' heart thumped loudly in his chest as he climbed up a darkened mound of mass, consisting of soils and whatever other elements the dwarves had piled.  Apparently they were not very good at climbing, for instead the hacked away at the mound and attempted to make it crumble.  A yelp escaped Jadis as it swayed under his hands, but the ledge he so desired was not very far away: a platform of land, likely carved out from groundwater or a storage facility of old.  It was a small space between the ceiling and the ledge, but it would suffice holding him, if he could only reach it.

His fingers grazed the ledge, attempting to shift his weight to seize hold of it, until one of the dwarves snatched his ankle and began tugging.  Pain seared his knee as he heard it pop out of place.  In fear of his leg breaking entirely from the dwarf's immense strength, Jadis let go of the ledge and fell into the dwarf, who wasted no time in pinning him painfully to his chest.  That is when Jadis sent forth a signal.  He wanted so badly to do this alone, to prove to Eclaire and Fiora that he was capable.  At this rate things would end disastrously.  After all, there was only one of him and twelve of them.  How could any elf keep them all at bay?

-Shivering Moors - NPCs

Many of the elves listened to Eclaire intently.  Some were shocked at her survival, gasping and pointing frantically.  Many cheered, and, had Eclaire been on the ground, she likely would've been trampled by adoring fans.  Others, however, did not take quite as kindly the the appearance of Eclaire Tonnerre, nor the words that she uttered.  "That is outrageous!" one of the elves boomed, shaking his fist in the sky.  "Yevgeni is no traitor.  He has restored our nation and given us a proper ruler.  He strives for peace and wants to make the empire pay for all of our suffering!"

"He's saved so many lives," another elf interjected.  "We owe him everything!  We could never betray him!"

Finally a female elf stepped forward, her long lilac locks swaying with her subtle movements.  "Commander Eclaire, it is an honor to see you again, and most of all learn that you live.  Of course, you have many of our blades at your side, but I am afraid that we cannot simply betray Yevgeni.  He has done too much for us to do so.  Please, let us all greet him and inform him of your survival.  I am sure that he'll be overjoyed to see you."

Overall the reception of Eclaire's appearance was mixed, though there were undoubtedly going to be many loyal followers on her side.  It would take much to convince the people that Yevgeni was truly a traitor, as would be expected after his dedicated rule over the past year.

-Ariana - Neutral - Langerdon-

Ari glanced at Henry from the corner of her eye and sighed, moving away from the door and crossing her arms in her typical stance.  "I am not like Neena, Henry.  I never have been.  I am selfish.  I want to survive, and I thirst for revenge.  Our differences will never allow us to fully align.  It is not in our makeup to do so."  She shifted to look at him from the side.  "You are sharp.  Yes, I did come for an alliance.  I can do nothing on my own, not anymore, but with the power of us threesome I felt we could accomplish so much more.  We could reunite the empire, joining hands with even the mages and all classes, and who knows, maybe we could even do more than that good-for-nothing Seraphim Order is.  I wanted to join you, but to be honest I need to have a little more assurance that I won't find an arrow through my heart as I sleep in the night."

It surprised her that Henry was offering her this invitation.  After all of the lives she'd taken, after her nasty retorts, and even attempting to kill Neena and Henry both last year, he was offering her a second chance?  She bit her lip painfully, her eyes glassy as they met Henry's this time.  "Truly, you have a good heart for your willingness to give me a second chance.  Out of all people I am probably the most disgusting before your eyes."  A smile stretched her pale lips, as she strode back to Henry and grasped his extended hand, her fingers frigid in his.  "I will join you, but I need to hear it from Neena that I won't die tonight.  I assure you that I will prove useful to your cause.  After all, I was once known for my Uzume meat stew."

(Alright, here goes...> :) )

- Maxis - Messiah - Godolvia mines - Non-lethal protocols.

Maxis had found the entrance to the cave in a few minutes, well, the archwing was useful for traveling to place to place anyway, and he figured he'd need to hurry. Maxis had a stun baton in his hands, from the soldier he killed, Maxis was still however, Soaked in blood, which already dried onto his armor, making him look quite menacing. He looked at the entrance of the mine for a moment a cloaked, "How come this hasn't been found by the empire yet? its not exactly inconspicuous..." Maxis snarked as he entered the mine.

While cloaked he noticed the dwarves quite riled up, 'probably Jadis causing a rucus, note to self, teach stealth techniques to Messiah...and demand an extra free for the training...' Maxis thought to himself as he casually walked down, his footsteps muffled as he was cloaked, avoiding confrontation with dwarves, until he came upon Jadis being pined down and held by one, with many other Dwarves coming along with arrows, and swords and pickaxes and whatnot.

Maxis walked a bit closer, cloaked clones appearing beside him, also with copied stun batons, the two clones went to the  right and the left side respectively, while Maxis himself went forward.

"Excuse me but do you have time to speak about our lord and savior?" Maxis said as he uncloaked, putting his hand on the dwarf who was holding Jadis's shoulder, behind him, as he struck the dwarf fiercely in the back of the head with the butt of the stun baton, knocking him out instantly, "Oh nevermind." He commented sarcastically as jadis fell from the dwarf's grip.

"Here take this." Maxis threw the stun baton for Jadis to grab. "Really what was Eclaire thinking, 'oh lets send a young elf to a dwarf occupied mine HE'L BE FIIIINE', yeah right, its not like dwarves and elfs are sworn enemies. Should have sent Mikhail, he would convince them easily."

Maxis criticized the plan as he looked at Jadis, who was now probably wondering why Maxis was soaked in blood, which had already dried. "Don't ask." He said as a Dwarf lunged at him, prompting Maxis to just thrust his arm forward, punching the dwarf in the face, sending him a few meters away, as his clones had finished tazing the other dwarves to unconciousness.

"I was in the neighborhood, thought i'd drop in and say hi and see how you were doing. So what now Jadis? escape or do you want to get the dwarf leader and 'convince' him? your choice." Maxis said, leaving the decision up to Jadis.

- Mikhail - Messiah - Luin infiltration.

It was quiet, at the bar Mikhail had resided in, with a drink on his table and some a hood over his head to conceal his identity, he was wondering how the hell would he gain information about empire's plans, he took a sip of his drink as he looked out the window. Until a quite big thug kicked in the front door of the bar, and went to the counter, "Oi, you bitch, give me a drink." He ordered the girl at the counter, quite a cute, and reasonably pretty girl, catching Mikhail's eye almost instantly. Prompting him to leave his table and walk up to the man.

The man went on to break several glasses and whatnot, causing quite a rucus and property damage to the bar and the owner. "where is my drin-" He was interrupted by a punch to the side of his face, from Mikhail, knocking him out of the chair and making him land straight onto the ground as he clutched his face. "Oi what the hell." The thug muttered as Mikhail simply stared at him "I don't like it when someone disrespects a lady." Mikhail responded, the statement made the bartender woman blush as Mikhail dashed forward and kicked the man through the opened door of he bar. Sending him flying out.

"Who the hell are you..." The thug muttered as he managed to get to his feet and rush at Mikhail, trying to punch him with his left hand, but Mikhail simply sidestepped to the right and grabbed him by the throat, chokeslamming him onto the ground hard.

"the better question is...if you have a boss, where would I be able to find him. Considering you just strode into the bar must mean your 'gang' has a reputation around here, and I know that the criminals are under Oryx's lead. So...be a good boy and tell me?" Mikhail interrogated the thug, who was barely conciouss now.

"Go to hell, you viper eyed firetruck..." the thug replied. Mikhail just smirked "thats no way to speak to your elders, now, I think you're going to tell me from the goodness of your heart." Mikhail said waving his hand, making the sign of Axii, which instantly influenced the thug's mind his eyes glowing white for a few seconds.

"Y-yes, the boss is overseeing a weapons deal at the main warehouse to the west of the city." The thug responded, his tone of voice calmer, and submissive. "thank you" Mikhail replied, punching the thug in the face, knocking him unconciouss. He promptly searched through the man's pockets for his wallet, finding it, and taking all of the money.

But Mikhail didn't keep it for himself, he turned right around and walked inside the bar again, putting the money on the table, "For the repairs of the damage he just did." Mikhail said looking at the bartender's eyes, a pretty woman, blonde, with blue eyes, and pointy ears, an elf. who blushed by looking at him.

"I'l be back later for another drink." Mikhail said leaving and waving his hand in departure, the woman simply waving back as he left, to head to where the meeting was taking place.

- Zane - New Empire - currently in Hylvania

"What?! where did this strength come from?" thought Zane as he saw Stark caught his fan weapon with his hands. After Stark threw Zane's fan into the dirt getting it stuck it was becoming clear to Zane just what he was, Zane stood still staring at Stark as Stark's body was now fully transformed. "So...your a human cursed by the wolf's fang I see. Interesting, but it won't save you fro--" said Zane before he was interrupted by Stark's quick footing towards him swinging his sword once again. "Ha, you think this will hit me" said Zane as he let the sword pass through his body waiting for the chance to counter Stark, But then Stark smashed his sword into pieces which distracted Zane's vision for a moment with all the glittering shards of steel everywhere. At this moment Zane couldn't see the first water strike that come towards his stomach "GAHH!" yelled Zane as the first water attack hit him dead on & right after that Zane got slashed by Stark's sharp claws across his chest area, both attacks sending him backwards a bit. But the last 2 water attacks Zane could hear coming only moments from him & quickly pulled his fan's chain but not to pull his fan to him, but rather the opposite.

Zane pulled himself towards his fan weapon instead just dodging the last 2 water attacks with one tearing off his clothing on his left arm revealing his race's symbol on his arm (Zane's Symbol is coloured white) & also his dark black skin that was as dark as the dark abyss. Zane stood near his fan weapon before pulling it out from the ground with some blood dripping form his stomach area & his chest "Where did those water attacks come from?..." thought Zane as he looked around the area quickly "Oh, so it was you." said Zane to himself as he could see just in the distance an elf warrior (Paul). "A magic using elf & a werewolf man...this might be entertaining after all." said Zane as he's eyes begun to glow red, but just then a strange portal opened up & Crota, the son of Oryx appeared before them all. Zane stared at him for a moment "General Zane, it appears that Oryx's son has entered to aid us in battle with his own ships & troops" said a soldier on Zane's ear phone "I see...maybe he can take on Stark while I handle that annoying magic user" said Zane as he then warp'd himself away reappearing just in front the elf magic user "Your gonna pay for your interference scum!" yelled Zane as he went for a punch at the elf's face but quickly warp'd away reappearing behind the elf still going for a punch at the elf's head.

- Dark Heart & Sahail (Both Criminal Underworld) - currently in Shivering Moors

As Dark Heart was walking to where she last saw Sahail she could see in the distance a massive ship hovering just over the center of the village. "Is that ship...the Oathkeeper?" said Dark Heart to herself as she then begun heading towards it, but she suddenly started to cough a bit heavier than normal covering her mouth while she coughed. After Dark Heart stopped coughing she looked at her left hand that she used to cover her mouth with only to see some blood "..." Dark heart continued heading towards where the oathkeeper ship was.

Meanwhile Sahail was quietly reading through some old books with 6 of her shadow clones doing the same, the books she & her clones were reading held heaps of stuff about what happened a year ago before the empire's fall. Soon a Sahail shadow clone placed her right hand on Sahail's left shoulder before leaning near her ear whispering some words "Oh, I see. & here I thought I'd have to use you clones to stop Dark Heart from finding me, hehe. Get the other 3 clones outside & make sure that dark Heart's kept busy with these new comers until I've read all these books, I still need to read about Dark Heart's race, so get to it clone!" said Sahail to the clone that had whispered into her ear. "So the person that just showed up is named Eclair is it, hehe. I've already learned about you Eclaire & your failed order of Lux group that tried oh so hard to destroy the empire but you just could quite save the world could you, hehehe." whispered Sahail to herself.

It didn't take long for Dark Heart to reach to where Eclaire & the massive group of elves where. As all the elves including Jasmine & the elf woman spoke out to Eclaire about Yev being a traitor a sudden instant wave cutting the air itself slashed across the field in front of all the elves causing some elves to fall backwards in fright. The wave quickly faded away & almost all the elves looked to their left to where the wave had came from only to see Dark Heart standing with her peashy blade in hand. Dark Heart's peashy blade was fading in it's yellow glow after using it to create that wave attack "Stay out of my way elves." said Dark Heart with a serious face looking at all the elves before looking at Eclaire & Fiora "Eclaire... I didn't think you were still alive in this world, I guess we both we're playing possum. It's nice to see you both again after 900 years. Oryx will be glad to hear your joining us in the fight against the rebels that betrayed the Order of Lux. Come now Elcaire, Fiora, lets go see Oryx together" said Dark Heart as she held out her left hand to them both.

- Rei (Neutral) & Yagyu (Seraphim Order) - currently in City of Ruin

Rei was totally embarrassed by her little outburst & just quickly sat in her seat twiddling her thumbs until Yev asked for her name & what she brings to the table of use "Um...ahh, well I, I, I...hmm..." said Rei trying to sum up the words to speak. But thankfully the attention was taken away from her after Vortludo proposed a toast, Rei was relieved & decided to join the toast too. Rei didn't drink any type of alcohol so instead Rei just rose her cup of tea for the toast instead "Yes indeed" said Rei to the toast. Rei then heard what Tolan said to her "Oh, so this is the Seraphim Order is it? never heard of it" said Rei showing a clueless smile at Tolan before taking a sip of her tea.

Meanwhile Yagyu finally got up her courage & opened the basement door & started to walk down the stairs slowly "It's awfully dark in here, wheres that light?" said Yagyu until she quickly found the light switch pulling the switch to turn on the old light bulb "That's better, now let's see..." said Yagyu as she could now see better with some light in the room. Yagyu searched the room from head to toe trying to find something or at this point anything suspicious that might tell her more about this Kaspar fellow. "Grr, I can't find anything but heaps of dust & my demon eye has the same feeling in here as then I'm near that guy...wait a sec" said Yagyu as she then lifting up her eye patch to reveal her red glowing demon eye. Yagyu then looked around the room with her demon eye "Now I see, there's defiantly a strange magic presence here, it...it feels cold, almost suffocating even." said Yagyu to herself as she grabbed a handful of the dust. But just then Yagyu felt more pain in her right bandaged up arm "Gah! I shouldn't be using this eye so much after that fight" said Yagyu as she then quickly covered up her demon eye with her eye patch. "I better get some rest, I'll spy on Kaspar later" said Yagyu. Yagyu soon exited the basement room & was heading down the hall towards her bedroom, Yagyu found her bedroom door & entered her room closing the door behind her & just fell onto her bed staring at the ceiling.

- Kaspar Ulrich - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin -

Kaspar rose his glass to the rest of the table, a counterfeit smile stuck on his face.  He wondered when the festivities would end so that he could return to more important business, but again he eyed the weight of the group with a pitiless scale.  All within the room looked quite adept in their abilities but the innocuous-seeming girl Rei and maybe the happy-go-lucky Vortludo, but he had no way of gauging their auras fully with his green, sunken eyes.  He would have to cast seeking magic to understand their abilities a bit better, and he had neither the time nor the resources to use such a spell.

"I must say, Yevgeni, you harbour very interesting company," he uttered with a matching, interested look around the table.  "If I may ask for all of your names, I would greatly enjoy meeting you all.  I am Kaspar Herzog Ulrich, a denizen of an unimportant town close to Feldspar.  I used to serve my own interests far from the Empire's gaze, but now I seek two things:  to find and unravel the mysteries of this world and to better my fellow sentients of this world."

- Paul (NPC) - Seraphim Order - Siege of Hylvania -

Paul cracked a slight smile on his proud and angry features, managing to score a hit on the enemy general and cause a disruption in his fighting style, but recent events worried the elf.  The man Zane was solid and powerful, not only still standing after a powerful burst of water struck his stomach but able to phase in and out of objects when he deemed fit, as was evident when the Northern werewolf attempted a wild slice through his body with a blade.  This was a magic the elf had never seen before, or something worse and darker than magic, but worse yet was the other recent event:  where there once was one enemy, now there were two.

Paul had little time to think about the new adversary as Zane teleported in front of the elven general, preparing a fist aimed for his head.  Paul drew his rapier and sliced it horizontally towards Zane, simultaneously lashing out with some remaining water at his feet with his other hand.  He was aiming for the counter should Zane try to phase or dodge, but Zane dared a trickier approach, slipping out of view and continuing to aim his punch towards Paul's head from behind.  It was impossible to react fast enough after his exerted actions, and Paul felt the full effect of the punch to his cheek, nosediving into the ground.

Luckily, the damage from the punch was not that great, rattling the man soon enough to gather more groundwater and form a ring of water around himself, the water spiralling clockwise into a controlled vortex that did not spill outward.  After four seconds, the water stopped spiralling to his left and was fired off at Zane in a wild gush.  Near the end, Paul readied his rapier in icepick (reverse) grip, just in case Zane teleported or phased to avoid the attack.

- Jasmine (NPC) - Seraphim Order - Shivering Moors -

Jasmine was about to agree with the lilac-locked elf in front of him, recognising her and her standpoint, but chaos lashed out far too quickly.  A slashing wave fired off overhead, causing panic within the ranks of elven citizens.  The crowd dispersed as everyone ran for cover, but Jasmine, Eclaire, and Fiora stayed put, as well as the elven woman from before.

"My lady," he said to her, "you're too important to risk losing here.  Run and take shelter.  As for you, Eclaire," he continued, turning his head to look at the leader of Messiah, "trouble seems to dog you, but from a glance I can understand you to not be as blackhearted as this youth in front of me.  Should you consider me an ally for the present, I would be proud to bring her down alongside you to prevent death in this city."

Deuce needed a few moments before he managed to collect himself. He just then realized again where he was standing. Even so he cheered up slightly once Rufus said he’d help.

‘Calm down … Now think. This isn’t a bad pirate crew … Is it? … No it can’t be. If they were then they’d have already sunk probably.’ He cast a gaze at Conrarto and then down into the floor. It was strange how he already felt slightly at home. Then came the fuel news.

“Um … Mix in a little alcohol and it should last a little longer.” He said out of reflex. That was usually the case when he advised Arian how to not crash. The news was quite good at least for him since Hylvana was definitely an area of interest for Orient. He looked back up at the captain and trailed away in thought.

“Well if you’d want I could. I mean I have no idea how old this ship is but I can’t do much mid-flight … Aside from small maintenance. If I take out the wrong screw it could all go crashing down.” He chuckled a bit before taking a look around again.

“I’d be happy to join.” Deuce slightly smiled when he said that. It relieved some feeling of abandonment and it felt much better that he wasn’t alone … albeit with a crew of pirates.

“Tell me. How old is this ship? And I’m almost afraid to ask: Has it ever been shot down yet?” He instinctively remembered the first few questions when it came to orient trading.

{Nymeria - Neutral: The North; Siege of Hylvania}

Nym began cursing under her breath. She didn't like to admit it, but she wasn't cut out to be a battlefield commander. She was good at the personal kill, but making decisions that effected her brother's whole movement made her nervous. She wished she was fighting what ever caused Stark to change and he was seeing the new developments and deciding what to do about it.

With both the Empire and the Seraphim Order here, Nym felt like the North's forces were being squeezed between two giants. Stark would know what to do. He had to.

Pulling out her radio again, Nym was about to try to contact her brother when the new portal appeared above the city. Last she had heard, Stark was that area. Fear gripping her, Nym started running towards the portal.

{Ciriel - Messiah: Langerdon}

While Ciriel would have preferred to sight see as she looked for her targets, she didn't want to draw attention to herself because of her garb. Not that she stood out too much, with her scythe and sniper rifle folded up on her back. But it was better safe then sorry, so she stuck to more ally ways and back streets.

She was using a previously forgotten...well, talent to track down Neena and Henry. It had degraded a lot since her fall, but it still managed to be useful. Following what she could only describe as her target's "Song of the Soul", she closed in on Henry and Neena.

Ciriel stopped when the "song" led her to where Henry and Ariana were talking. Her eyes narrowed when she realized what Ariana was. That was going to be fun.

"Oh well." She breathed, then walked over to the duo.

"Hi, I know I'm interrupting your conversation, but I tend to do that a lot." The Angel said to the Dreadnaught and the Demoness. "But if you are willing to live with it, I have a proposition for both of you and the ninja. Oh, I'm Ciriel, by the way."

-Jadis - Messiah - Godolvia Mines-

Relief flooded the young mage upon Maxis' arrival.  As skeptical as Jadis had been of Maxis having sided with the empire in the past, all sins were now forgiven in his eyes.  Jadis caught the stun baton and locked eyes with Maxis.  His companion really was a mess, though he felt now was not the time to ask.  In fact, Maxis told him not to.  Together the two faced the angry dwarves, who sluggishly approached from all sides, pickaxes raised.  "I--"  To be honest, Jadis was torn on what to do.  On the one hand he was desirous to prove himself to Eclaire once and for all.  He was tired of being considered young, incapable, and incompetent.  He had matured much through this war, and able he was.  Just . . . not in this current predicament.

"No."  He shook his head firmly.  "Maxis, we must convince them.  Eclaire is counting on us to receive aid from the dwarves.  We must convey the message and get them to understand our plight.  Will you help me, please?"

Just then a dwarf came from behind Maxis, threatening to take a massive axe to his neck.  Jadis used a wind spell, causing a surge of wind to brush past Maxis' face and hurl the dwarf backward to roll head over heels.  Other dwarves came charging shortly behind, pickaxes raised to further charge Maxis.

"Please, we don't want to harm you!" Jadis cried out, his brows contorted.  Using another wind spell, the mage propelled himself onto the storage ledge above.  He was now out of reach from the dwarves, though the space was cramped.  At least from here they would be forced to listen, without trying to dissect the elf in the process.  "We call for peace, and ultimately want the same things that you do.  Eclaire Tonnerre is alive, and we need you!"

-Ariana - Neena and Henry's Alliance - Langerdon-

Just as Ariana was going to head back inside and try to calmly explain that she'll cook so long as Neena allowed her to keep her life, a young woman approached.  The woman's brows knitted as she exchanged a glance between Ciriel and Henry.  "You often get visitors?" she asked him, before extending a cold, bony hand to shake Ciriel's.  "Ari.  Ciriel, huh?  Why do I get the feeling that we've met before?  Oh, well.  It was in another life now, I'm sure.  Everything has changed since the fall of the Korbenic Empire.  Now, what is this proposition of yours?  I doubt that I'm in any position to receive any proposition, but I can always listen and see if its a good bargain and would profit me."

A blunt statement, and yet the truth.  She shifted her weight into one hip, crossing her arms as she eyed Ciriel skeptically.  Yes, she definitely looked familiar, though from where she couldn't be certain.

-Yevgeni - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin-

After the toast Yev seated himself at the head of the table once more, lacing his fingers together and resting his chin on his gloved hands.  His emerald gaze turned to Rei.  "Sorry, dear, I am afraid that my attention was arrested by the toast.  I am sure that we would gladly welcome you to the Order with open arms.  We shall have a meeting with Yagyu tonight once you are through, granted that you are not too tired to converse."  The blond then took notice to Kaspar's presence, to which he nodded in his direction.  Yes, he could sense the dark arts about him, perhaps even the art of necromancy that he desired.  Of course, he didn't wish to get ahead of himself and outright ask Kaspar about his practice of necromancy, but it would certainly be a very valuable asset to the Order.

After all, imagine what the Seraphim Order could do with an undying army at their disposal.

"My good sir, I'm glad that you were able to make it after all," Yev said, extending a hand in the air.  "I do hope that your rest went well?  Did Graham show you a comfortable room to your liking?  If not, we have plenty of other accommodations that I'm sure would suit you."

(Will post for Ava once Yuffie posts, and will post for Isaac as soon as MDS and Kunivas post).
