Jynn Venas-Seraphim OrderMelstrome responds to Cobica's sarcastic threats to his friend by extracting a plasma blade from his head. "Now Mel, let's be nice to this gentleman, after all we did kind of barge into his territory.", Jynn reminds him. The equine complies and retracts his horn. "The last thing I want to do is get into a sword fight with an innocent.", Jynn whispers to himself. "He might be aligned with Yevgeni. Maybe he can help me find him, if I can earn his trust..." He walks up to Cobica with little concern, although he braces himself for a fight. "I'm very sorry sir, I'm not here to claim territory, sabotage your city, or spy on you. I came here to protect my people from Oryx.", he replys. Jynn stops ten feet in front of Cobica. "I've heard the story about his takeover of the Korbenic Empire. And I worry he might try to expand his empire, and take over my kingdom. I also........", he pauses, feeling embarrassed. Looking down, he reluctantly finishes, "......worry about those near his empire...., people like you." He looks back up at Cobica with a sincere look. "I wish to find Yevgeni, and help him take down the imperials." Putting his hands behind his back, he asks, "So are you willing to trust me?" Then he remembered Cobica "bowed" to him. "And how did you know I was a king? I'm not wearing a crown."

-Eclaire-

She had left the bridge awhile ago, and now was in the observation deck. She sighed softly to herself, and typed a bit on the computer before her...she checked a few more things...then finally decided.

She tapped a few buttons, and the in ship intercom came on.

"This is Eclaire. As most of you know, it has been one year since I led a Rebellion. For this past year we stayed hidden here in the Razgriz Straits, for one year we have recovered, rested...and trained. From the devastating loss of the Battle of Langerdon, from the appearance of Oryx and the loss of the direct connection to the Goddess...but now is the time to act. We have repaired the damage to our ships, we have finished most of our newest weapons. our abilites only grow, so now is the time to act." She paused. "In one hour, I need all combat personnel to report to the conference room for combat duties. And remember this: We are smaller than we once were. All combat ops are in one to three man teams. If that. That will be all."

Turning the comm off, she looked down at the ring she wore around her neck.

"....now to make sure Fiora doesn't beg too much..."

Fiora - Messiah

The idea of discussing missions made Fiora a little nervous. To tell the truth, she hadn't exactly had any missions. She'd just been helping Eclaire out with whatever work needed to be done. She did a lot of healing, but not much more than that. "Um... I haven't really left the base lately, either.  Eclaire's been trying to keep me safe, so most of my jobs have been helping around here. I spend a lot of time in the infirmary, but that's the closest I've had to a mission in a while." She explained, trying to not sound disheartened. She understood that Eclaire had good intentions, although she hadn't spent years learning how to fight just so she could spend her life cooped up in a large, flying cage. She wanted to help more. It sounded like Jadis had the same desire as well. "Eclaire might seem a little difficult at first, but I'm sure that you can gain her trust if you keep at it. I could even help, if you need me to." She tried to encourage the young elf, hoping that her idea would work well. After saying this, she heard Eclaire's message to all members of the rebellion. "In fact... this may be our chance to prove ourselves." She pointed out. "Think you're ready to take on something a little more challenging?"

Allitt - Messiah

Allitt's thoughts were interrupted by Eclaire's new orders. She quickly jumped to her feet. Alright! I've waited a while for this... Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll even manage to find him... She ran out of the lounge and into the halls of the ship. "I wish I didn't have to wait so long, though..." She muttered, anxious to get going now. She wasn't the type to enjoyed waiting, especially when she'd get a chance to fight afterwards. Unfortunately, she'd have to deal with it. She decided to walk towards the conference room and wait near it for a little bit, hoping something of interest might come up.

Indy - Empire

More dirty work... Indy would have groaned if Oryx wasn't so close. Of course, it was an important job, and it might have given him a chance to run into some rebels who could give him answers... He decided to help out. "I can take Rengen. Just make sure that the other soldiers joining me won't get in my way, and I'll be fine." He spoke with a stern tone. He didn't know a whole lot about the town, but the other two were already taken. He figured it wouldn't be tough to wipe out some of the Seraphim Order members and get the city back in order. Helping with big missions like this would help to prove his loyalty to the new empire, after all. He didn't want to miss out on a chance like that, especially now that he'd become a little more distant from his life as a soldier.

Oryx - the taken king.

Oryx took a small moment of silence as Isaac gave his suggestions, to which Oryx didn't seem disrespected or even flustered, "A good point Isaac, so be it, the attack on rengen is cancelled, we will focus on Kaipora...and Hylvania, both are surrounded and are highly valuable assets, and we can have a good ammount of attackers as well as reinforcements...the attack will begin at dawn, the troops will be organizing themselves, please take this opportunity to prepare everyone...except you Die and Naja, I need you two getting intel on this 'Seraphim order'...if you can of course." Oryx said as his voice echoed throughout the room.

"You are all dismissed...except for Dorian, he and I have business to discuss." And with that, everyone was dismissed. Alak-hul summoned a portal to walk through, Dex remained in the room.

"What are your business here...Dorian..." Oryx asked.

//

Gabriel Stross - Messiah's engineer, also prisoner.

Gabriel sat in his chair as he looked at her, as his Ai began to speak again, "That question was actually from both of us, we've never seen you before, thats all". The Ai spoke as Gabriel perked up as she mentioned being an angel.

"Now gabriel asks: Angel? you don't mean you were one of the empire's experiments were you? the empire had an outright hunt for angels and other magical beings, all tested upon gruesome experiments...most never survived...please don't say you were one of them?" The ai narrated Gabriel's thoughts to Ciriel, because if this woman had suffered in the hands of the old empire, a good part of it was his fault, because he had made the equipment... and he felt guilt just from thinking about it.

//

Maxis - Messiah's mercenary.

"If thats your decision...I have to thank you, sort of." Maxis thanked Ryonne for not attacking him, but Maxis could see that the man wanted to take him up on his offer, he wanted to put Maxis down, much like everyone else on the ship...Maxis leaned his back on a wall as he watched Ryonne leave and give the news on the village massacre... "Thats...firetrucked up." Maxis had to admit it, while he was a backstabbing arse, he wasn't the type to kill innocent civilians, pay or no pay. He had at least 'some' honor in him.

As Ryonne left the room, Maxis cloacked as the door closed. Now what would he do? he didn't know, he didn't feel like training on dummies.

//

Mikhail - Messiah - Witcher.

"What have you become yevgeni, and to think I respected you..." Mikhail said in disappointment at the bridge, soon leaving it to gather his thoughts at Eclaire's announcement.

He began to walk down the hallways, he wanted to find someplace quiet, for him to meditate and gather his thoughts on all the occurences so far, that is if no one were to approach him.

//

Henry - Dreadnaught - Neutral.

"Very good dog food though..." Henry just went along with Neena's insults as he joked. It was one way to lighten the mood, which was oh so important nowadays, with all this shit going on.

"I don't know about killing but I can damn well break some bones and interrogate them...if they die in the process so be it., after what they've done, Im not going to just stand idly by after their slaughter of innocent civilians..." Henry said with a serious tone, he hated innocent people getting hurt or killed, he outright despised it.

"Well, I just can't not think about Eclaire, I saw her evacuating as I stood behind to buy time...alongside Tiriel who's probably dead or worse by now..." Henry's tone dropped for a second as he spoke. "Still, on this Seraphim order of sorts, lets keep our ears to the ground for now, if we get enough information we might even be able to take a jab at them without them being alerted of us...possibly taking out one of their commanding officers...now theres an objective!" Henry pointed out, regaining his normal tone, not sad or angry anymore.

"And on the topic of leading, yeah, you certainly aren't any leader type and me neither, theres also the fact that even If I was most people would run away when I summon my armor, which would not be very good." Henry joked.

Dorian: Langerdon

“Straight to the point then. My business here is mostly the expansion of our now small trade organization. The reason I came here is to be expected really: I and orient desire trade rights with no tariff across the empire. Furthermore we would request to be taken into account as the main suppliers of weaponry and overall goods. But I believe in equivalent exchange so we would in turn stabilize your economy and fund your struggle with the other faction/factions.” He spoke in snakelike tones as he came towards the end. He was about to continue but decided otherwise. Afterwards he took out a scroll lined in gold upon which the terms were written and the plan.

“This may sound unappealing but in reality the aftereffects will be huge. You may refuse any part of it but in summary as is written on the second paragraph the overall trade system will prohibit centralized economy allowing money to flow to the lifeblood of any army: its supply lines and the farms in the frontier. The four year crop rotation will ensure soil will be reusable, the mine direction system will ensure a quick supply of metals, a trade blockade will be made around this area…” He ran his finger around Kaipora south through the sea and ended a circle around the before mentioned town.

“Orient will of course be the ones taking all the current merchants out of the picture …And finally …” He pointed towards the southernmost peninsula.

“The founding of a new city focused on naval engineering. With that the southern island will fall by two fronts. It will be financially broken and unable to receive reinforcements with relief supplies.” He concluded his speech by lifting the scroll up as if he were presenting a sword to a king.

Arian: the skies north-west of the elven city

“A simple job. Get in rip off some lowlifes and sell them out. DORIAN I F***ING HATE YOU!” Shouted Arian as he flew north wind away from the airship that was chasing him. They were firing their batteries at him getting closer with every attempt.

*Earlier that day.*

“That’s fifty for each crate, twenty for the travel expenses and four as a bonus.” Said a man in the Palsian merchant’s guild. He wondered what was so valuable about the cargo but as experience taught him don’t try to look unless you’re a masochist. Deuce said it may be agricultural supplies but it was a tad too heavy for that. Afterwards he set out on his little venture to the authorities. Sadly for him, as he was crossing the market, he felt a blade pressed to his back.

“Don’t breathe, move or …” The assailant was caught off guard by what seemed to be a piece of scrap metal hitting his groin and making him roll to the floor in pain.

“What?” He mocked his assassin but as he turned around several flintlock pistols were pointed at him.

“Can’t we settle this over alcohol? My treat …” This was answered by pistols getting ready to fire. The captain was amongst those and spoke in a crude language.

“We’z aint got da time for ya. I likez youz but ya made one big mistake. Tryen ta sell us out might’ve just signed your death warrant. But dunt worry. You’re head’s gonna go right on top of me pointy stick. Daz a honor dat is.”

“Can I get a last request?” His eyes shifted towards a building under construction at the far end of the marketplace.

“Wuz that?”

“This.” He slowly put a hand in his pocket and took his last resort. He injected tyzanite into a vein on his right leg but acted as if he forgot something.

“Well to bad no smokes.” He smiled as white energy began pulsing through his veins and sending out a shockwave before any of the pirates could do anything. As that happened all the people around were overcome by panic and before you could say one the entire square was engulfed in chaos. During this Arian ran as fast as his legs could carry him to the building he saw earlier occasionally flipping over a stall. There was some pistol fire but ultimately nothing hit him and he was able to get to the building he saw earlier. There he climbed the framework performing several acrobatics along the way until he finally reached the rooftops. There he jumped from one to another free running style and was able to exit town in that manner and get to his flyer. However as he gained some altitude artillery fire rained down from somewhere. The batteries were shooting in intervals of ten seconds giving him some time to avoid the shots.

*Present moment.*

The chase has already lasted several hours and burned a good chunk of his fuel supply with all the air tricks. Finally he turned preparing to fight back. He hated it when he had to do this especially ever since the three day war. A quick loss of altitude plus and a pull up maneuver was all it took for him to get behind the vessel. There he fired a missile into the engine effectively causing the thing to fall from the sky and sink to the bottom of the sea. His victory was not to last as just now some of his last fuel reserves went and all he could do was land in the middle of the Nordic ocean. Luckily his ship had a transmitter and a transmitter where he sent out a request for help to anyone who would receive it.

Deuce and Nalia: Outside Kirle

“You know psyche problems like amnesia, insanity etc.” He said and thought to himself ‘It’s probably madness.’

“Well you’re on imperial soil tho I’m not really sure what you make of that. We’re just south of a bigger city and slightly west of a trading outpost. I don’t know which star you mean nor am I fluent in astronomy but I guess it’s safe to say you’re from up there.” As he finished a giant doglike creature made of earth rode in with his sister on it. It was Osor and it seemed that his call for help earlier went a little bad. Nalia had already went ballistic and prepared to fight.

“Get da hell away from Deuce!” She shouted from her mounth and made three figures from stone slowly approaching Keyes.

“Sis settle down it was a fals alarm … I think … Well the blade isn’t pointed towards my head now anyway.” As soon as he mentioned a blade pointed towards him the rage only escalated and the creature she was riding began a charge.

- Rufus Contralto - Neutral - Outside Krile -

Rufus was flabbergasted at the sight of the Tenno's teleportation, something which seemed like a dimensional tear than anything magical or using substitution, much like his own skill.  Harst, his first mate, fell backwards on his fleshy rump at Rufus' right, and Lelita adjusted her spectacles on her thin nose, fascinated as well.

"Interesting," she uttered lowly, "this skill is much like the Captain's, but less limiting, and that cryogenic pod is beyond odd in make.  I must take a sample of its structure for study."

"And what of your head?  Are you so sure that it will remain in place before you can get near it?" Rufus quipped, shaking his head.  "Lelita, this is no place for you like I thought.  Slip back to the sloop.  Harst as well."

Lelita blinked before balling her fists.

"But, Cap'n--"

"Enough, please, Lelita.  The crew is my top priority, especially--"

A woman riding a doglike mount caught his and perhaps everybody's attention, generating golems from the ground and stone in the area and riding towards them.  That was the last straw for the pirate captain.

"Time to leave.  Lelita, Harst?"

Rufus made a quick reach with his left hand toward his two associates, the etched tattoos on their forearms making a quick reaction to his generated back-summoning spell and teleporting them both to the safety of the airship, where a sigil was prepared for this kind of situation.  Lelita would be furious with him, but a peace offering of the cryo pod should relax her from beating the snot out of him just a little.

"So," he heaved, less a sigh and more of a show of exertion as he reached for his weapon, "Deuce, I take it?  Have any way of taming your sister before a stone head is hacked off?"

- Yltriss - New Empire - Messiah's prisoner -

Yltriss grimaced up at the ceiling from her ragged cot, Tanzynite withdrawals leaving her sapped of the energy she usually had in abundance.  Being prisoner had left her already thin body emaciated and her mind occupied with thoughts of escape and foolish flights of fancy, be they romantic or the simple desire for a filet mignon to magically appear with all of the dressings.  Gosh, was she hungry.

Her eyes flickered over to the camera watching her cell, wondering if someone was watching.  It was an eerie notion she had that sometimes she was being watched by someone different than the norm, but it was just that, a notion.  She had no way of telling for sure unless someone different from the norm paid a visit, though this did not happen for a while.  What was it?  A month?  Three months?  Five?  She hated the inability to tell the time besides the clicks and whirrs of machinery and the drum of her own knuckles . . . and the growl of her stomach.  Her stomach growled a little less than a minute sequentially for quite a while now.  Gosh, was she hungry.

Images of Feldspar, her governed city and her home for too long, slunk into her memory.  It was not a paradise, of that she knew too well, but being there in the flesh would have been beyond Elysian.  She would have had free roam within her pantry and refrigerator.  Gosh, she was hungry.

- Zane - New Empire - currently in Langerdon

Zane was now in a massive room that has heaps of weapons & other stuff that any army needs to invade or defend. Zane was looking around the room seeing his men practically ready for the taking back of Hylvania. After 10 mins were up Zane begun to shout out loud for all his men to hear "ALRIGHT! WE HAVE OUR MISSION TO TAKE BACK HYLVANIA! YOU ARE ONLY TO ATTACK ANYTHING THAT GETS IN THE WAY OF THIS MISSION IN ANYWAY! NOW PUT YOUR LEFT HAND ON THE PERSONS SHOULDER NEXT TO YOU!" shouted Zane. After a moment or two every solider had their left hand on anothers shoulder, Zane then put his left hand the only solider that had no one next to him & within a seconded Zane & his group of soliders were gone, warp'd away. Not soon after Zane & his group of men reappeared near Hylvania, Zane' group was just out of range for anyone to see them from Hylvania. "We are to stay here til dawn. By then I should have regained the strength I used in transporting the group here & that's then we take the town back." said Zane as he sat down on a rock, Zane was motionless after that, almost like he was meditating or deep in thought.

- Dark Heart & Sahail (Both Criminal Underworld) - Zack (New Empire) - currently in Goldolvia

Zack had warp'd himself to Goldolvia after talking with Zane in Langerdon "Hmm...I know your here somewhere girl..." said Zack as he looked around the ruins of what was once a town. "What do you want Zack?" said a voice within the area "Wha!...so you are still here, Dark Heart." said Zack as he finally could see Dark Heart in the distance sitting casually on some rubble rocks with her demon blade Peashy stabbed into the ground near her & she was also in her Dark Formus form too. Zack slowly walked over to her carefully keeping an eye on her "So...your still unable to return to your human form ay?" said Zack "...Leave me alone." said Dark Heart as she then coughed a bit "I'll get right to it then, I need you to take out another town or so. These towns are called Hylvania, Kaipora & lastly Rengen okay? got it?" said Zack with his hands behind his head.

Dark Heart gave Zack a serious stare that could intimidate any opponent "You said if I destroyed this weak town & it's people you'd take me to see her..." said Dark Heart "Well ya, but that was only to frame the rebels to the world seeing them as nothing but killers & to have fun angering Oryx too, heh." said Zack "You know what Zack...I met someone here that helped me destroy this town 3 days ago, come on out Sahail" said Dark Heart as Sahail showed herself from near a ruined building. "Sahail has also agreed to help me do one more thing here too." said Dark Heart as Sahail walked over next to Dark Heart as Dark Heart stood up pulling her demon blade Peashy out from the ground.

Just then the weather over the town started to rain heavily & lightening strikes begun to happen. "This ruined town is the perfect place for your demise Zack." said Dark Heart "WHAT! Your betraying me?!" said Zack "Sahail, lets go with that combo" said Dark Heart as Sahail gave a nod understanding her. A serious battle went down & in the end their was a massive hole in the middle of the town were Zack died & his body being blasted to nothingness & anyone near the town Goldolvia could see a massive black dragon flying just above the town partly hidden by the dark clouds from the storm with Dark Heart standing on it's head "We're done here Sahail, lets head back to Pandora. If Oryx needs us he'll tell us himself, I'm not taking anymore orders from these generals" said Dark Heart as they then flew off towards that town.

- Rei (Neutral) & Yagyu (Seraphim Order) - currently in Krile

Rei listen carefully to Yagyu as she explained her mission more "It was suppose to be a simple mission that my leader Yegeni gave me. I was the 2 leader of a group of rebels that went to Goldolvia 3 days ago, our mission was to recruit more members for our rebellion. We even tried to recruit ex-imperials to our cause but they didn't take our cause to kindly & started a little fight with the first leader, we managed to defeat them without killing them but the battle left the surroundings a bit in rubble. But that was only the beginning of our problems as thats when that strange girl named Dark Heart showed up.

This evil looking girl approached us asking us a strange question, after the first leader answered her question with his answer he must have answered wrong or something cause just after he answered her question that girl took him down without any effort. I told the group to take the first leader to safety while I took her on but...while I was battle Dark Heart I could hear some gun shots behind me in the direction the group ran in, which makes me believe my group was killed by more enemies in that town we didn't know about. After battling Dark Heart for a while I found my strength just wasn't enough to beat her, so I managed to escape the first chance I got but I was too beaten up to make it to the next town to recover & that's why you found me passed out cold near godolvia." said Yagyu as she took a sip from her cup of green tea.

So. Yltriss..." She looked over to the starving woman, and slid a tray of beef, bread, veggies, and water right by the door. "...why should I show someone like you, any mercy? That's right...I'm not a monster." She slid the tray in, so she may eat. "But you're going to tell me everything you know, and if you don't tell me something I don't know, then I'll devour you myself and toss your body to the predators who survive." She was not kidding, not in the slightest. "You have two minutes to convince me keeping you alive is worth the trouble, because I can't be worrying about prisoners right now...especially dangerous ones like you."

-Yevgeni - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin

The blond rubbed his hands together in an attempt to warm them, though it was useless.  The land received very harsh winters, and it was no rarity for the temperature to lower below 0 F.  He passed the gates of the palace and strode along the cobblestone, which had been shoveled away from the kind servant workers.  Any moment his crew containing Vortludo would arrive, and he was eager to greet his old friend.

The sound of rustling wings arrested his attention, causing Yev to spin on heel, his white robe billowing behind him.  How he had not noticed a pegasus sooner was beyond him, nor the presence of Cobica and a newcomer.  He strode over to them swiftly, his boots clicking on the cobblestone path.  "A king?  From a faraway nation?  Now that is something laughable.  Everyone knows all that's left of the world is what Oryx practically owns."  He stopped before the supposed "king," looking down the bridge of his nose.  Something did indeed seem noble about him, and it was rumored that an independent kingdom still existed in a faraway isle.  Could it be so?  "What business do you have here, and what, pray tell, is your name?  Cobica greeted you with a sword, and generally that does not bode well."

-Ava - Seraphim Order - Rhasolvich-

Both pain and awe struck Ava as she watched Vortludo handle the child with such sincerity, grace, and compassion.  He truly is something, Ava couldn't help but think.  On their way back she murmured under her breath, perhaps loud enough for Vort to hear.  "Sometimes I think you'd make a better leader of the order."

At Vortludo's tender words the young girl, Krea, bowed her head lowly.  "Thank you, sir.  May you have a safe journey home."

Another cheer resounded from the group before everyone began to disperse, leaving Ava and Vortludo alone on the airship as it began to rise to the sky.  She ran a hand through her long bangs, the rest of her disheveled black locks coiled into a tight bun upon her head.  It would certainly be nice to return home and to actually sleep in her own bed for once, though she had to admit that she greatly missed her home back in Langerdon.

-Jadis - Messiah - Oathkeeper-

It surprised the teen that Fiora had been kept from missions as well.  Heck, he was certain that wherever Eclaire went Fiora would be right in tow.  It was interesting that she was often kept on board Oathkeeper in like, but she probably was just being protected.  Jadis nodded.  "She loves you and just wants to protect you.  That may even be why she's keeping me: she knows that I mean something to you.  In dire times like these, though, I disagree with such methods.  When I joined the Order I was childish, I know, but so much has happened since then.  I am ready for whatever she has in store for a true warrior."

The moment Jadis stopped speaking the intercom voiced Eclaire's command.  The elf turned to Fiora and acknowledged her suggestion.  "Agreed.  Let's go see what she wants.  I'll back you up, too, and, if she'll let me, I could promise to join you and help protect you."  The moment he said these words he partly regretted it.  His cheeks flushed red as he quickly spoke up to correct himself.  "Not that you'd need protecting, of course, Fiora.  It's just that ah, well, I mean.  It's always safer in numbers, right?"

With that, and hopefully with Fiora in tow, Jadis spun on heel and headed in the direction of the meeting room.  Hopefully Eclaire would finally put her faith in him, as he had in her for the past year.

-Isaac - New Empire - Langerdon-

The general bowed lowly to Oryx, greatly awed that he actually listened to what he had to say and agreed to it.  "Many thanks, my lord.  Kinzoku, we will leave post haste at four AM.  Be ready, and if you have any other mages--experimental or no--I will require their services, if you can muster them.  I will have my troops ready."  As they were dismissed and people began filtering out of the room, Isaac strode to Indy and clapped him on the shoulder.  The young man had been loyal to the empire for some time and had climbed the ranks rapidly.  He was one that Isaac respected greatly.  "If I may have a word with you, Indy, outside," he said casually, leading the young man outside of the meeting room and into the corner.

"I understand that the attack upon Rengen has been cancelled, or delayed for a spell.  I'm sorry for speaking up, but I think we will do well to have our powers focused on only two places at once.  I would be honored to fight at your side, if you would be willing to join me and my crew to Kaipora, my friend."

Yes, with the metal mage and one of the Caelum twins on his side, the takeover of Kaipora would be a cinch.

-Ariana - Neutral - Godolvia-

The ex-general drank deeply from her glass, yet her thirst still was not quenched.  Using any of her darkness exhausted her heavily, and the flight from the capital took its toll on her ragged body.  She'd managed to find her way into a rundown bed and breakfast that wouldn't recognize her face.  Not that there was much to recognize about her now anyway.  Her hair was practically a matted mess of black strands and her body a skeleton.  She wore a simple pair of black pants and a violet blouse, along with a dark cloak that she'd purchased in town.

Survival was probably her largest goal right now, as she now had no idea or aspirations in life, except . . . to find Chrysalis.  She was the one who'd brought meaning to her life after her fiance passed, and was the only person who had brought her a hint of joy, love, and humanity.  No word was heard of Chrysalis after she'd freed the girl, and she was desperate to catch some word of her presence, or even to find her.

Ari bowed her head low and closed her eyes.  Her head was pounding again, and she was soon thinking about calling it a night early.  Suddenly a ruckus was caused inside the diner, where patrons rushed to the window and some started heading into the basement.  A dragon could be seen in the distance, its origin entirely unknown.  Her violet eyes widened.  It'd certainly been a while since she'd seen one of those.  Who could've stirred enough trouble to draw its attention here?

Jynn Venas-Seraphim Order

"Oh great..... Is this going to turn into a fight over nothing?" Jynn thought to himself. "I am Jynn Venas. Me and Mel came from another land far from here. I came to protect my people from Oryx." he answered. "I've heard about the Korbenic Empire. During their rule, I did not want to interfere with a battle that I had no involvement in. I figured the Rebellion were able to fend off the empire. However, after Oryx defeated the Rebellion, I began to worry about my kingdom." Jynn turns his back towards Cobica and Yevgeni and crosses his arms, but still prepared for a fight that might break out. He turns his head. "Not only do I wish to defend my land, but I also want to help those who wish to stop Oryx. You guys have been through so much, I feel that my help is absolutely necessary." Jynn pauses. "Helping those who need it is the greatest feeling in the world....." he quietly says to himself. He turns back towards Yevgeni and Cobica. "I hope you can accept my offer. I sense that you two are part of the Rebellion, or at least, what's left of it." Jynn then asks, "Also, do you two mind telling me your names?"

- Yltriss Hyulli - New Empire - Prisoner on Oathkeeper -

Yltriss raised her head marginally and glanced back toward the bars, catching the gaze of the succubus leader of the new renegades.  Eclaire Tonnerre, a flash of a soldier and a fearsome woman to meet, given her fierce visage towards her opponents.  The elf slowly raised the rest of her body as well, stalking closer to the bars.

"Why indeed.  Why bother yourself with one such as myself if not for questioning?"  She flashed an oily grin as she picked up the portion of bread, scooping out some of its soft interior and hastily swallowing it with relish.  "Though your ideas are just in your own eyes, your group -- Salvation, Savior, oh-h-h, right, Messiah -- is nothing more than a ragtag of lowlifes, thieves, and killers believing themselves to be expected deliverers to your world.  What better enforcement of this belief but to imprison?  But who am I to say?  Ask your questions."

Deuce

"Aye cap'n ..." He mocked a little knowing if everything gets bad he'd make it out fine. His voice trailed off thinking of solutions.

"It's a bit of a predicament ... Three people can calm her down. One makes her go into a frenzy and takes all the hits, one does some fancy acupuncture and the last one talks her down." He said thinking out loud then looking at Osor and back at Ruffus. 'This is stupid ... really stupid ... But when dealing with a berserk sister it might work. Dorian did it once ...' He thought to himself about the idea he just got.

"Ok ... This will sound idiotic... Can you fake taking me hostage? That'll at least stop her." He said face-palming then rubbing his forehead with his palm. It proved effective before but that was "mister I am immortal". On the other hand he quickly wondered where Jonathan and Grimm were. Aside from waging a small war with her the most effective way to deal would be negotiation where she'd be forced to at least halt.

The Doctor -- Messiah

Julius Verstand opened his eyes to look across the hallway. Something was making some noise. Oh. Poor Yltriss was speaking with Eclaire... An interesting encounter to be certain. The Doctor yawned. Well perhaps he could still interact with someone a bit more interesting than an elderly elf on withdrawal. Personally, the Doctor had managed to sneak his own substance that erased tanzynite withdrawal symptoms. It truly was a shame that he only ever carried one dose on him. He moved to the bars of his cell. "You're being rather harsh aren't you Yltriss? Harsh and dramatic. I've never had any love for harsh drama queens, and Mademoiselle Tonnere seems to be the type that would agree with me. Also, as a note, everyone here is at worst, a traitor. Well, they're all killers, but in war, it isn't homicide, so that doesn't count. Traitors and rebels are the worst that this lot have to offer when it comes to criminal population. And personally, I'd regard murder and rape to be far worse a crime than treason. Overall, Yltriss, you're simply incorrect on a factual basis. Couldn't you just answer our captor's question? It would make it easier on me. And Gabe. I know that making things easier on Gabe is probably high on your to-do list, even if my well-being is of little consequence. Speaking of my well-being, Commander Eclaire if I could have your attention? Though I probably did have it already considering I interrupted you a tad... In any case, when are you letting me out of this cell? I've seen just about all of your soldiers, and I must say, they look to be about as intelligent as a brick wall. And that's if they put their heads together. You must need some help. I could be that help. You can look at any records, I was never trusted with the higher level materials. I was but a development goon in the eyes of Korben. I have only loyalty to the one that gives me the ability to do some work. And right now, in this cell, that's not you. It certainly could be though." He ended up rambling a tad... It had been a while since he'd had something to actually talk about. Talking was a delight.

Ryonne -- Messiah

Ryonne entered the meeting room. It was empty. Damn. Why did no one else ever arrive on time? Frustrated, the Swordsman took a seat, not in a position of any high regard, like one of the head's, or the seats next to that, but the middle. Just the middle. Sometimes that's what he felt like. Just the middle, the mediator, who was there because he was supposed to be. A soldier who carried orders and didn't ask questions. He wasn't Mikhail, constantly questioning and mocking everything and everybody, wasn't Rika, a cute little girl that was the center of all attention that was nearby, wasn't Fiora, the wife of the commander and thus earned as much respect and more affection than Eclaire herself. No, he was just Ryonne. The strong, silent type, who garnered no attention. Wasn't that what he wanted? To be the silent drive of the Rebellion, to serve the people of the world not from the balcony, not from the command tent, but from the frontlines? Yes. Before, when he didn't need attention. Because he got plenty from Viridem. But now... He shook his head. He was being a child, a selfish child. He needed to do what was best for Messiah, and if that required he follow the orders and do his duty, then that was what he would do. He didn't need any kind of reward like a puppy in training. The work should be reward enough.

Cobica -- Seraphim Order

"And I don't trust you." Cobica said clearly to the man. "I really don't." He then whispered to Yev. "My friend is right. Any idiot knows that there is no other world. There are two countries left. Elvish land, and Oryx's. And you aren't an elf. I'll give you that you carry yourself like some noble that has never shit for himself, but that could easily be an act." He waved to his blade. "Hence the sword. Fight like a king, and maybe I'll believe you. Well, that was the plan at least." The Half-Breed glanced to Yevgeni. "But I doubt that will be allowed now that my friend is here. Won't want me to kill a potential ally probably. But your story is lacking, and though a flying horse and a royal demeanor is certainly unique, it's nothing that couldn't be fabricated on the mainland. So either piss off because your cover's blown, or give me and my friend here something to actually believe."

Vortludo -- Seraphim Order

"Thank you kind child." Vortludo said to Krea as they departed, smiling to the rest of the crowd as they cheered for their departure. The Noble closed his eyes, memorizing the image, a crowd of happy people, some smiling for the first time in what must have been a very very long time. That was what he was fighting for. That and... He flipped the page of his mind backwards. Ava, her beautiful black hair framing the most wondrous smile as she offered a piece of banana bread. He thought he heard her say something, but did not quite catch it. Vortludo opened his eyes once more, and looked to his darling, question in his eyes. "My apologies my dear, but what did you say?" He asked as the airship took off, and headed back home.

Kinzoku & Die and Naja of the Crow's Eyes -- New Empire

"Of course your Grace." Die said with a nod. He stood and walked out of the room, Naja following behind him neatly and orderly. Once they had left, and were halfway up the stairs, Naja leaped up ahead of him, landing on stairs in front of her leader.

"What are we actually going to do Die?" She asked, knowing that he had more on his mind. She had known him for long enough to tell that he had been thinking on something this time.

"Exactly as he asked. Gain intel on the Seraphim Order." Die brushed her off, and began to continue up the stairs. Naja moved in front of him, and their eyes met. She challenged him with her glare. Die smiled. "And then we'll join them." Naja's eyes went wide with surprise, and she moved out of the way rather quickly. Die moved up the stairs, his cane thumping against the stairs in a near rhythmic fashion. "Come along, we must meet with the rest of the Crows." He said.

Back in the throne room, Kinzoku groaned when Isaac gave his orders. "4 in the morning! I'm not some morning songbird!" She jested loudly, but no one paid her any heed. In exasperation, she levitated the metal chair in which she sat, and left the room, manipulating the doorknob when the time came. She was supposed to find other mages... Well, that was definitely something she could do. She smiled. But it wasn't her typical smile... No, there was something far more malicious behind this one. She vanished away into her room, still seated on the chair.

Neena -- Tanzynite Crusade

"Hmph." Neena grunted in a hybrid emotion of affirmation and resignation. She turned off the burner, and grabbed some bowls. She poured half of the pan's contents into each bowl, then stuck a spoon in each. She took hers and moved to the tv. She flicked it on, and the news began. "Dinner's served. Chicken stir fry." She said to Henry. "As for a goal like that... I think it's definitely a good idea. I'll keep an ear out." The Assassin agreed with Henry's point of view. Neena began to enjoy the dinner she cooked, doing her best to imagine that she was in a better place than the rundown shithole she was currently residing in, and in better company than this idiot corrupted experiment she had for a partner. Well... He was alright company. She had to give him that. And he had fallen down to the bottom of her kill list. Best for last after all."

Jynn Venas-Seraphim Order

Melstrome runs in front of Jynn with his horn out, ready to defend his friend. "No Mel. If they want me to prove myself by fighting....... then it's a fight I am forced to give them..." Jynn remarks. He walks around the pegasus with his eyes closed. He stops and sighs, knowing he has no choice but to fight. "If you want me to fight so badly, then so be it...." He opens his eyes and slowly raises his right hand towards Cobica, as if it is an attempt to grab him. He finishes his statement with a slightly aggressive "I won't hesitate." Suddenly a beam of thunderbolts radiates across his hand, with a katana appearing afterwards. Its blue blade shines brightly in the sunlight. Jynn swings the sword in a U-shaped slash, sending a blast of warm air towards Cobica. Jynn's eyes briefly flash white, and then electric sparks wrap around his his left hand. Jynn gives an angry glare to Cobica. "Your move........ After all, it is a fight YOU want!"

Cobica -- Seraphim Order

"Flashy... But flashy won't save you, your grace." The Half-Breed's last two words were so full of sarcasm if they were a bowl of cereal, the milk would have spilled over, along with several wheat flakes. This metaphorical cereal bowl was very similar to this man's body.

About to spill it's fluids.

Cobica rushed forward very quickly, bringing his blade down in a two handed vertical slash. Cobica followed through with the slice, the momentum carrying him forwards. He utilized this momentum when he leaped upwards, and sheathed his blade. Black and White appeared in his hands, fallen from his sleeves as he flipped in the air. He landed on the other side of Jynn, and fired off several rounds from each of his pistols. Yev wouldn't be happy about doing this. But screw him. He needed this adrenaline, this thrill. It had been too long since he had fought someone decent. And so far, it was already helping. Cobica felt alive! "Come on! Show me some more of that lightning! I need to charge my phone too, does your horse have an outlet on its ass?"

Jynn Venas-Seraphim Order

Jynn's senses helped him block Cobica's first slash. Immediatly reading Cobica's movement, he is able to keep up with the Half-Breed jumping over him. As soon as he saw Cobica pull out his pistols, Jynn uses his electrified hand to deflect the bullets. "Oh don't you worry, I'm not even trying on you right now!" Jynn answers. He charges a electrified orb in his left hand, it's power is radiating with energy. "Are you able to charge your phone with ball lightning?!" Jynn flings the orb at Cobica.

-Eclaire-

The woman teleported into the cell in a swirl of petals as the Doctor talked.

"Because, Yltriss, the doc is correct. We are a collection of traitors...to you. For the people of the Empire, no, to every living creature who wishes for peace, we are the saviour. We are salvation. We are not a collection of murderers and thieves, rapists and psychopaths. We are soldiers who chose not to pull the trigger when Korben razed a villaged, we are doctors who chose to save the mage who soldiers decided to gun down, we are children who's parents were slaughtered for a false king on a throne of glass." She yanked up Yltriss, slamming her against the wall. "We are the wall upon which darkness broke, and the shield of all who wish...to live. We are traitors an empire that no longer serves the people, but itself! You wish to be imprisoned by monsters? By rapists and murderers, thieves and psychopaths? Then return to the Taken King, and let Oryx dispel upon you what he inevitable will - death. Here, in this cell, you live. In this cell we shared what food we had. You starve when we starve, you fill when we fill. I may be a traitor to you, but you live. You are not mistreated, you all are kept here and fed. Clothed. Ensured you never freeze. Your Empire led to my mother's death, led to the fall of the Kingdom of Orience..." She leaned in closer. "If you belief we imprison because we are a ragtag bunch of lowlifes, thieves, and murderers, then remember." Eclaire ripped from Yltriss her clothing, dropping her. "You remain modest because I chose to not be Korben. You lay with food because I chose mercy. We have not raped you to death because we are not monsters." She kicked Yltriss away, into the far wall. "But if you want me to be a monster, then continue. Anger me more, Yltriss Hyulli, and I will turn this cell into your own personal nightmare." In a swirl of petals she now stood outside the Doctor's cell. "You are going to be moved to the Science Deck, and put to work. We need anything that can help, Doctor. The Ghosts of Razgriz could use some upgrades." She input a code, unlocking the door. "Head there now. Four Marines are right outside the block waiting for you. Also, don't touch anything. If another door opens after I leave they have orders to kill you all."

She disappeared, and appeared on the conference table in the Meeting Room, lounging."Early as always, Ryonne." She said. "Once the others arrive, we'll start."

-Jeremy-

"Almost all here."

The enigmatic commander of the Oathkeeper stepped through the door, his little sister trailing behind him. And behind them was Teresa, the XO, and the four pilots who belonged to the Razgriz Air Command Squadron. They found seats around the table, and Jeremy had to deal with his little sister in his lap. Mindblowing superpowers, still played with dolls and quantum entanglement theory. He looked at Eclaire.

"So, what's up?""We wait."

And so...he sighed, and waited.

-Victoria and Sasha-

The two other ship captains walked in a few minutes later, taking seats at the opposite ends of the table - Victoria near Jeremy, and Sasha next to the Razgriz. Neither really spoke, they only waited.

- Mikhail - Messiah's witcher - And Maxis prime - Messiash's tenno -

Mikhail stepped into the meeting room, his swords clanging on his back as he waved slightly at everyone, "And here I thought I was late." Mikhail commented as he took a seat, right beside Ryonne. "I take it we'l be moving out soon?" He asked.

He didn't have much to do, he was honestly quite bored, or rather, sleepy and tired, since he did not find a peaceful place to meditate and, possibly brew some potions, but a call was a call, and he had a meeting to attend first.

The silence was broken as Maxis soon uncloaked inside the room in the far corner, "Whats up?" The Tenno asked nonchalantly, as Mikhail threw a throwing knive in a split second reaction to Maxis's sudden appearance. The knife hit him in the chest as he disappeared in a flash of light.

"Well, so. What are we going to discuss?" Maxis asked, uncloacking sitting at one of the chairs on the right side, chuckling slightly at Mikhail throwing a knife at him. There was one definition to Maxis's behaviour, and it was much like a spoiled brat, he was having a hell of a time. Being carefree had become a new hobby of his...

- Oryx - The Taken king -

"A reasonable offer...I accept." Oryx moved his hand slightly as writting was placed upon the scroll, in acceptance. ORyx had read the whole scroll in seconds, and he did not see much of a problem with the terms. "The new city will be founded as soon as we manage to claim the territory, the south island is the Seraphim's main base, and will fall."

A Taken lackey walked into the room through a portal, "Order the preparations. If our attacks are succesful and we claim territory, we will be ab

le to push this 'Order' and delay their actions, long enough for your plans to come to fruition...Dorian." Oryx explained as the Taken Lackey left.

"You are dismissed Dorian." Oryx said simply.

Henry - Uneasy alliance with Neena

"Its about time we acted, instead of hiding." Henry commented, glad Neena actually agreed with him...for once. Getting this girl to agree to any of his plans was a trial in it and of itself, it was really annoying sometimes. But she made good food, that was all he could really ask for at a time like this. "Thank you." He said as he began to eat the meal, albeit with manners and not eating it like an animal. He had discipline, least he could do.

In fact he isn't even sure how he and Neena formed this alliance in the first place, they just kind of did, and they have survived together ever since a year ago, when Oryx's taking of the empire began. He didn't really stop to think about how she was as company, which...was acceptable, she was rude and angry at times. but he grew used to it so he didn't mind it as much.

Fiora - Messiah

Fiora was glad to hear that Jadis was interested in joining her personal mission to convince Eclaire to take her along to the upcoming battle. His accidental slip didn't really seem to bother her; in fact, she smiled. "I understand what you meant. I would be happy to fight alongside you, Jadis. It's been a while since I saw your skills, so it would be nice to see what you've learned since we last saw each other." Hearing that he was concerned about her safety, even if he hadn't quite meant to mention wanting to protect her, helped to put Fiora at ease. She'd come a long way from the silent, shy girl who knew none of her allies upon first joining the rebellion a couple years ago. That's right... I have grown a lot. I should have no problem asking Eclaire to let us join the fight. She quickly built her courage, then chased after Jadis as he ran off to the meeting room.

Upon entering, Fiora quickly scanned the room. She instantly noticed Eclaire was present... She would have liked to arrive first so her entrance wouldn't have drawn too much attention, but this still worked... kind of. "Um... Good morning, Eclaire." She greeted the commander. She wanted to try to remain respectful since she was still beneath Eclaire in rank, despite the two being married. Of course, trying to be a bit more personal might help her cause... Or just hurt it even more. M-maybe I should have gone for a more serious greeting instead... "Good morning, commander." Yeah, that might have been better. She silently noted. Of course, it was too late to change that now. She quickly caught herself before her indecisiveness became too apparent, and tried to calm herself down. She took a deep breath, and gave Eclaire a much more serious look this time. "Jadis and I are both here and willing to help." She explained.

Allitt - Messiah

Allitt entered the meeting room around the same time that Fiora and Jadis did, meaning she walked in just as Fiora awkwardly tried to explain her arrival to Eclaire. Allitt knew who Fiora was, although wasn't particularly close to her. She knew enough to tell that this might not end well, though. "Uh... I get the feeling I showed up at a bad time." She muttered, and quickly made her way to a seat. She sat down and kept quiet, figuring it might not be best to interrupt what might happen. She simply decided to look around at the others sitting at the table, preparing herself for whatever could follow Fiora's introduction.

Indy - New Empire

Indy was a bit disgruntled to hear that the attack he'd offered to lead was being cancelled, but in the end, it didn't matter too much. He wasn't particularly interested in it in the first place. Isaac's sudden approach made Indy jump, although he remained calm. He'd become a bit more... violent since his sister left, although he kept himself controlled when he needed to be. Causing a scene in front of the emperor would be a bad move. Instead, he followed Isaac outside and listened to his proposition. "That's fine with me. So long as I get to see some action, it doesn't matter which city I target." He answered. He'd be taking down rebellion members either way. Both cities could get him the answers he needed. "I'll go ahead and prepare for the attack now. I'll make sure I'm set by dawn, but let me know if we'll need to head out sooner." He kept a respectful tone, although it wasn't something he was particularly used to. It helped him to keep at least a little calm, though.

Dorian: Langerdon

"Thank you for your council. Should financial matters ever be a burden please contact Orient trading. I will send a representative later on to give the rest of the tax and trade system notes records etc." He took a few steps back and bowed then left. 'If all goes according to plan then my little stunt back there may earn me a position of political power.' He thought to himself calculating the odds he had at fortune and power. With a brief chuckle he said out loud:

"Which minion will I send?"

-Yevgeni - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin-

The Seraphim leader's eyes narrowed as Cobica commenced battle with the newcomer.  He had to admit that he admired Cobica's devotion and seeing what Jynn was really made of, but he partly didn't want to scare the man off.  If he was indeed a king from a rumored thriving country it would've been in his best interests to receive his aid rather than earn his wrath.  Finally as Jynn summoned an orb of lightning the blond interfered, summoning a wall of bright light energy to block the attack and diminish the lightning on the spot.  "Enough!" he cried loudly, though Cobica knew him well enough to know that he was not angered.  The half-angel turned his gaze to Jynn, his wings manifesting behind him.  "You asked for our names, which I will provide: I am Yevgeni Malachite, leader of the Seraphim Order, and this here is my right hand man, Cobica.  Anyone who crosses him will cross me, so I would advise that you tread on very careful ground."

He paused, tilting his head.  "You must forgive me that your arrival seems highly suspicious, especially with such timing after our charity march back in Rhasolvich having just commenced.  How do I know you're not an illusion of Oryx's, getting ready to infiltrate and destroy our base the moment I grant you access past these gates?  While I apologize for being suspicious, you cannot blame me given the circumstances"--he shared a glance with Cobica, reading his expression--"however, I will give you the benefit of the doubt.  If your land is true and you are indeed its king, show me some proof.  While you may fight like a noble it is possible that anyone could.  Perhaps you could take my Cobica to your land and prove its existence?"

Of course, Cobica would kill him for even proffering this proposal, but he couldn't afford to leave the City.  Vortludo and the others would be arriving soon, and he needed to discuss future plans.

Almost as quickly as he'd finished speaking, the roar of an airship loomed overhead.  The Rhasolvich team was arriving, its massive wooden base coming to a halt alongside the gates to disembark its patrons.

-Ava - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin-

A teasing grin seized the edges of Ava's face, as she playfully tousled Vortludo's hair and dropped the basket of baked goodies on his lap.  "Why, you never really listen to anything I say, do you?  Am I just that distracting?  Really, Vort, Yevgeni's going to stop assigning missions with us together if you keep this up."  Ava straightened, her expression growing serious.  "Truthfully, I was just saying that you would make a really great leader.  You're compassionate, you know what the people want, and you have a sense of justice and peace.  That's all.  Not to be treasonous, or anything."

Her tone was chipper, yet the somberness in her eyes likely betrayed her emotions.  She snatched up one of her books off a coffee table and began reading it, though she really was hardly paying attention to the text on the pages.  Her mind was shifting all over the place, like the rumored attack on Godolvia and the suspicious placement of the Order.  Some accused the Seraphim Order of being responsible for the slaughter of half the city, but it was heavily unlikely, if not impossible.  And yet . . . why did a small part of her believe it to be true?  Sometimes she felt the Order was just as corrupted as the empire.

Soon she felt a tugging on her head and pressure in her ears.  They were lowering and preparing for landing, apparently.  She snapped her book shut, striding over to the window.  Outside she saw the Kingdom of Orience draw closer, the castle's rough edges slowly coming into focus.

-Jadis - Messiah - Oathkeeper-

People were already in the meeting chamber when Jadis and Fiora arrived.  The mage smiled toward the silent Ryonne and nodded toward Mikhail, perhaps deliberately overlooking Maxis.  Even though he'd sworn fealty to Messiah Jadis couldn't help feeling slightly distrusting of the Tenno.  He'd served the empire, after all, and had been the source of many unjust deaths.

The mage stood alongside Fiora, clutching his bow tightly as his friend spoke.  Fiora seemed uncertain of herself, approaching Eclaire carefully.  Jadis, however, went straight in for the kill, speaking for both Fiora and himself without beating around the bush.  "It has been some time since we have been assigned to anything, and we know so much wrong is going on in the world.  If you're ready to deploy, deploy us together!  We're perhaps some of the best troops you could send, especially when together.  If you're worried about Fiora's safety I promise, on my life, to protect her.  Please, let us do something to help.  We've been inactive on this ship far too long."

There, he'd said it, and if Eclaire still refused him he'd just let her have it, stirring up all sorts of trouble.  While Jadis had matured and grown significantly over the past year, there were times that he could still be childish if he didn't get his way.

-Isaac - New Empire - Langerdon-

Kinzoku's protest disgruntled Isaac slightly.  "Watch it, we're soldiers, and we get up when we have to.  Oryx requires that we begin siege at dawn, and if you've got a problem with it, well, I'd suggest you take it up with him.  Elsewise we're leaving when I say so.  The boons to being a general."  The general, however, still wore a smile as he spoke, being lighthearted in nature.  Isaac couldn't take life too seriously, else it would just depress him.  Once Kinzoku was gone he focused all of his attention on the Caelum twin.  Upon his approval Isaac nudged his shoulder.  "That's my man.  Thank you.  Your assistance is going to be huge out there.  I'll let you pick an army and be my second in command while we're out.  With the rest of my crew and the assistance of Kinzoku and her mages we should be more than prepared for tomorrow.  Heck, I'll be surprised if we even encounter any losses.  We leave at four AM sharp, and we'll discuss strategies on board the airship on our way.  I want us to take a discreet approach and head straight to the mayor's office.  Best to cut our casualties as short as possible by targeting the source."

Jynn Venas-Seraphim Order

Jynn stops and faces Yengevi. "I never wanted to lash out at anybody, I apologize. And yes, I will admit, I did barge into your territory, And I apologize for that as well." Jynn complies. He withdraws his sword, but still keeps tabs on Cobica to make sure he doesn't make a sneak attack on him. Jynn thinks for a moment. "Should I show Cobica my land? What if he becomes hostile towards everybody?" He wonders to himself. "I don't want that to happen, but yet again, I need Yevgeni's trust, so I guess I'll just have to give Cobica proof." Jynn looks back to Yevgeni. "I would gladly give Cobica a tour of my land for proof, but, I'm not too sure if I can trust him not to attack me or anybody in my city." Jynn looks at Cobica. "I'll call for an alternative transport, since my gelding, Melstrome, will probably be hostile towards Cobica." He pulls out his phone and makes a quick call. After he puts away the phone, a plane appears in the horizon traveling at an incredible speed. It then slows to a halt before floating to the ground with it's landing gear out. "That was quick." Jynn whispers to himself. Suddenly, he notices the landing airship. "Does this airship belong to you?" Jynn asks.

- Rufus Contralto - Neutral - Outside Krile -

Rufus nodded and flashed a grin, understanding quickly.  In a quick movement while Deuce was occupied with pounding his forehead, he swung behind Deuce with all the grace he can muster and crossed his weapon, a kindjal, in front of the younger man's neck dangerously, tip pressing against his neck.  In the meantime, Rufus prepared a back-summoning spell with his unarmed hand, a subtle yet bold move meant as an escape route should the girl not comply to the negotiation.

"Lass of earth-forged soldiery and mounts, cease your charge!  I will not be held accountable for his death," he shouted, pressing his sword a little closer and accidentally drawing blood.  "Sorry, mate.  My bad," he whispered lowly to his supposed captive.

Rufus did not make a very good pirate, but he did appear as a daring rogue.  He silently hoped that his performance would stop the girl.  He had little love for killing or being killed.

- Yltriss Hyulli - New Empire - Prisoner on Oathkeeper -

Yltriss felt hurt by the Doctor's words, but over the course of her near-two-hundred lifespan she was more wise than to correct him aloud, especially in front of Eclaire.  She recognised Messiah to be a collection of traitors, and there was little shame of that, to her knowledge, having almost betrayed Korben herself but robbed of it at the moment of truth before it happened.  As for Gabriel, she knew it would be easier for him if she talked, but it would not be what he wanted, not truly.  What he deserved was freedom, not this terrible place.

Eclaire cut short her thoughts, flashing into the room in a flurry of rose petals and remarking corrections on Yltriss' diatribes.  Yltriss inwardly smiled.  Poetic, but useless were her words to the old elf.  Image was everything, and even as she was beaten, stripped of her garb, and kicked against the wall she was assured that Eclaire was indeed not a monster but a brute, a murderess, and a poor diplomat.  This was to her favour.  If the girl was any more patient she may have wrangled some information from Yltriss, but instead Yltriss obtained information from her.  Oryx, the Taken King, huh?  Interesting, she thought, learning of the name for the first time.

Picking herself up and favouring her kicked side, she took up her tray of food and sat on her cot, eating a little more of the delicious, delicious food.

"Good work, there, Herr Doktor.  I'm sure our captors will treat you famously," she spoke to her parallel cell-mate.  She smiled coyly, albeit painfully, toward him before subsequently returning to her meal.

((Kaspar will come at a later time when it is more convenient for him to converse and interact, probably when the airship docks at the City of Ruin and unloads its passengers.))

(Sorry for the delay, lads and lasses)

{Ciriel - Messiah}

"That's right." Ciriel answered, only a hint of tightening in her voice. "I woke up in one of the Empire's labs and spent a couple of months in agony. But I got busted out and joined up with Tonerre."

The fallen angel paused to listen to Eclair's announcement for a moment before speaking again.

"And with that, I'd better go." She said. "Looks like I'm off medical duty and back on combat. Though, if you are feeling ill, I'll still be helping out."

Ciriel started walking out, but paused a moment.

"I'm well aware of your, well, involvement with the empire. So, you'll be happy to know I believe in second chances. Don't waste it."

With those final words, Ciriel left to report to the conference room. She entered the room and sat down without saying a word.

{Keyes}

Keyes listened and observed the actions of the people who had awoken him. One had left. Wise. The others seemed to be arguing. The way one of the females looked at the cryo pod made it clear that she wanted it. He glanced at the pod, considering the implications of letting it fall into the hands of others. It held no other Orokin secrets beyond its obvious function. More importantly, it would not give away any Tenno secrets.

"Your battles are your own concern." Keyes informed the others.

Why they were falsely creating a hostage situation did't concern the Ash.

"If you want to pick this place over like carrion, do so. I have no more use for it."

- Gabriel Stross - Genius engineer - Messiah's prisoner -

(TIme for depressed Gabriel time!)

Gabriel stood silent, neither him nor his Ai made any reaction to Ciriel's words as she left, when she left Gabriel looked down, even with the visor on, anyone who passed by could very well tell. Dude was sad, he was...crestfallen for a better term. He looked at his hands for a minute before closing them.

He was never the same after he kileld Viridem, her death brought him a guilty conscience, one even his AI wasn't able to cheer him out of being depressed because of it, it wasn't only that, but the time the suit locked at Oryx's takeover to prevent him from being taken, he was very well alive and able to think for a time. and in that semi unconciouss state, he had a long and hard time thinking things through, everything that the empire was before, was directly because of him, his inventions, his mechs, everything he did was for the empire...and for what? for them to kill, pillage and ravage innocent lives, ruin families, torture innocent ones like Ciriel...all because of HIS inventions. And he finally realised, after all this time how ignorant he was, to the empire's actions, but when he realized it was all too late. He couldn't feign ignorance...any and all blame, hate and guilt he had from others was VERY well deserved. he soon closed his hands into fists as he simply looked up at the ceiling, the moment he closed his hands however, a small interference happened in the hallway and the cell, the lights flickered a few times, but that was it, really.

They were killers, they were traitors, they were all murderers even, all who were part of messiah, were involved in heinous acts before, but it wasn't the act of Gabriel supplying the empire that was eating away at him, it was that he tried to fake ignorance, and try his best to forget everything that happened around him at the time.

And now that he finally thought things through...he could only blame himself...for being such a fool. And no matter the second, third, or fourth chances, he would never forget what he did.

He didn't even know why he was helping Messiah in the first place, they clearly didn't trust him, hell, Ryonne and Mikhail would rather see him dead... which was probably for the best...part of him wishes they would kill him, but another part...mainly his AI connected to his conciouss, did not. He didn't know what he wanted in the grand scheme of things. He didn't know if he should help Messiah, or not...if he would let himself die or not, if he wanted to escape or not...

There wasn't anything he could do at such a time however, and really. His only option would be to wait till Eclaire ordered him an escort or anything of the sort...until then, he had some things to build...better, to distract himself of these depressed thoughts. His AI didn't speak during the entire scene, obviously leaving Gabriel time to grieve...
