Enix 995 Posted December 19, 2015 It's official your government hates you. They don't like that you have privacy. You might be planning to over throw them. They need to know just how to deal with you. So lube up, cause Big Brother is coming to legally rape your privacy!

I'm sure they know what I had for breakfast this morning. They've been watching people online for years. They probably know more about your Google history than you do. It's actually the conservatives who are more comfortable with spuong on theornown people because their thought process is:"If you have nothing to hide, then you wonts mind us taking a look". They're the ones who want Snowden extradited and hanged for treason. MythrilMagician 6,963 Posted December 19, 2015 That's Liberals for ya.... Man I hope Donald Trump gets in and fixes this crap....Like I said earlier, privacy doesn't exist. You know those ads you see on websites? They run on cookies based on your browser history. Your ISP can see it too. Facebook supposedly sells your private info to put ads directed at you. This is so broad that it can't be put into one post. Besides, Donald Trump will just make things worse and some fear that not just the US would be affected by him. 1 Alicia Maddox reacted to this

You are honestly one of the few people on here that I actually like!Well first of all, I'd like to apologise for what I said before. I was just really pissed of at the whole thing and I vented in a bad way. I don't mean any offense to you at all.And second, I applaud you for actively wanting to understand both sides, so I won't try to convince you. As CISA I'm not a us citizen but in the UK where I live the (conservative) government have been repeatedly trying to press forward a piece of legislation nicknamed the snoopers charter despite massive public outcry. The reason why I am not a fan of this is because I like my privacy and also, as a Muslim, I KNOW that I'll be subject to more scrutiny than my friend who's white. That's just the way it is and I accept that but the fact is that safe places such as whatsapp or snapchat where I have expressed alot of criticism of the government could be used against me, sure it may not start that way, but the more people take this lying down the more liberties will be taken. There are only two logical conclusions to this (imo) - Either the creation of a police state- or a revolt against this legislation by the people
Ultima Spark 753 Posted December 22, 2015 It's not liberal vs. conservative/left vs. right/whatever ("both" sides have valid opinions as well as stupid ones), it's libertarian vs. authoritarian (while that doesn't capture the whole scope of the thing, I think it's a slightly more accurate picture to start with). High-up politicians don't give a shit about your religion/race/whatever label, they only care about fleecing the masses out of money and rights for their own lifestyles and goals.
