What some of you need to realize.

Because of all the complaints I'm seeing about how most of the Kingdom Hearts 3 footage has been in the same few areas:

 

They have good reason not to show us more areas. Evidence can even be seen in the newest trailer, as pointed out by a forum member. Not a lot of the maps have probably been completely finished or even presentable, and are most likely works in progress. In the new trailer, you can even see that the path to the sandlot isn't even there. They don't want to show us unfinished maps because we'll get mad- so they just show what's presentable.

 

Please, some of you. Realize this the next time you complain. Be happy we've gotten the footage we have- it's amazing!

 

Also, I'm so so so happy with the small details in this trailer. Just had to say that. The animations, the materials, the ways that Sora and the others interact with the environment.. God, I can't wait for this. Someone put me in suspended animation for two years please. Thanks.

I'm not disappointed but rather want some variety in the trailers, they've shown us nothing but flashy trailers, which is what we've been getting since 2013, it's rather stale to me, and they could present some of the smaller aspects of the game, such exploration in worlds, Character interactions or even mini games. 

 

Or even not show anything, why do people want these trailers when the game is still probably two years away? 2 YEARS AWAY

I'm not disappointed but rather want some variety in the trailers, they've shown us nothing but flashy trailers, which is what we've been getting since 2013, it's rather stale to me, and they could present some of the smaller aspects of the game, such exploration in worlds, Character interactions or even mini games. 

 

Or even not show anything, why do people want these trailers when the game is still probably two years away? 2 YEARS AWAY 

i wasn't disappointed i was just over hyped. I just wanted some new things included like some plot details because we've been getting nothing but gameplay since 2013...

Exactly. And the funny thing about this is that SE FINALLY gives us the D23 trailer that the KH fanbase wined and begged for when the D23 event started. Now we finally get the trailer but now the KH fanbase is complaining about the trailer not being "new" lol.

Sorry. joking aside, i don't see much plot that can actually happen in this one, it feels like it will be KH2 where they'll stretch the game out before the final battle, as the sides are already getting aligned and ready. Now it's only a matter of how, but the script is already written. so maybe they've just been holding back on plot until around release.

Not gonna lie I really want to see what Big Hero 6 looks like but I'm not expecting it at all. I love the trailer and I'm just happy we even got one. I think the only maps they have presentable so far are only the ones we've seen so far, so I totally agree with you on that one.

I just wish everyone would relax. I'm very patient for KH3. By being like how most people are right now will just ruin the game for them when it comes out.

to be honest i'd prefer we get less trailers with more variety in their content than multiple trailers showcasing practically the same stuff. i get that they have little to show, but that's all the more reason to not release so many trailers.

 

i guess at the end of the day they're at least trying to let the KH fanbase know that KH3 is being worked on, so i can't really fault them for that. still, it was an "OK" trailer.

Not probably. Definitely.

2.8 and KH3 have equal priorities right now, seeing as Nomura is only directing KH3, if I'm not mistaken, and another director directing 2.8.Both are going full steam ahead. I doubt someone other than Nomura is directing a Kingdom Hearts title.

The KH fanbase has to realize that Square Enix don't have to show anything if they don't want to; the trailer they just showed was a gift to the fanbase for all the support they've given. Like most people have said, KH3 is most likely 2 years away (if it doesn't get delayed). That's 2 E3's, 2 Tokyo Game Shows, 2 Gamescoms, and 2 Jump Festas that Square Enix will use to show off new footage/news. In between all of those events, there's plenty of other good games coming out including FFXV, Uncharted 4, Ratchet and Clank, Gears of War, Kingdom Hearts 2.8, and maybe FF7 Remake episode 1.

And I know a lot of you guys are like "Eww, complaints  :dry: " But you have to understand that the people who complain are the people who express that they are not satisfied with the product that they've been showing. If we don't express our thoughts on the game on the web, Square will never see that some fans are unsatisfied with the way they handle things and we'll end up with a game we don't like after years and years of waiting. I don't want that personally, and I understand that the game is still in development, that's exactly why I'm ranting. 'Cause if I start ranting in 2017, it'll be too late for them to change anything. And the game NEEDS improvement imo.

How long was "Rise of the Tomb Raider" in development again? Two years? Really? Is the game popping? Yes it is. Just saying.

Of course they are going to edit out the touching scene why not just wait till the game comes out and see it, and which improvements does KH3 need if anything it looks perfectly fine from what I'm seeing.
