Character sheet (Idea Approved by Mystics, so it's a go.):

Name:
 Crota, Son of Oryx

Gender:
 Male

Age:
Unknown, not as old as Oryx himself, but old enough.

Side: New Empire

Race:
 Ascendant Hive

Appearance:
Physical Form/Base Power P.S: None of that Green Glow unless he powers up willingly-

Posted Image

True Form/Full Power:

Posted Image

Weapon: Light-Consumer (Pictured above) - Not Crota's original weapon, as that's the Sword of Crota that was destroyed by a Guardian, but it is still formidable. It is larger than most Hive Cleavers and can be shrouded in Green Flames to activate Runes or to boost its power, but when he is at full power it constantly glows with a powerful energy that can cause serious damage upon impact. It does drain the Light of Guardians, so it's safe to assume the Light of others is vulnerable unless it is REALLY strong and bright.

Tanzynite tonics (limit of three):

Tanzynite Instigators (limit of three--experimental Tanzynite has a limitation of one, and only with prior approval):

Race abilities/Magic (Unsure how to class his powers, but are similar to his Fathers):
The God-Prince of the Hive has many powers and abilities at his disposal regardless of his current power state, although him at full power in his Dimension is of a great status. Specifics are as follows:

Presence of Crota - When in the presence of the Son himself, only at full power, he will cease all health regeneration, natural or otherwise and this can only be restored by taking his Chalice of Light, which is always available but needs to be passed to an individual to restart their Healing Power/Factor.

Darkness Blast/Darkness - Like Hive Wizards and Oryx, he can project blasts of Darkness Energy from his hands upon his command, decimating enemies on impact. He does have general control over the power of the Darkness itself anyway, but not anywhere near the extent of his Father, who literally commands it to Take people.

Traversing Hive Portals/Summon Hive - As he holds command of his own Hive Sect known as the "Spawn of Crota", the Hope-Eater can call forth his troops at any time he commands it, as well as traverse the same system himself, normally arriving through the Portal as usual, but in his dimension, he is summoned with a Projection of his own head before appearing in dramatic fashion.

Impervious to Physical Damage - AT FULL POWER AND HIS DIMENSION ONLY: At his fullest strength in his realm, Crota's body is immune to all known forms of attack unlike his shield, but it does have one weakness: An Ascendant Sword, held by a Swordbearer Knight who enters the fray to help do away with intruders. Should the Knight be slain, the Sword may be taken and when Crota's shield is down, he will drop to his knee and be open to attack with the sword.

Personality: An absolutely merciless and mighty creature, Crota almost matches his Father in sheer brutality and cruelty, but his anger and rage pale in comparison to that of Oryx, but this Hive-Knight is not a pushover, at all. He gets right to the point, starting things off in a fight with combat, maybe stopping to taunt or talk, but he is more forward than his Father in this front, who would go into monologues or shout at his enemies, Crota fights...that is all. Having slain countless Guardians in his own universe and destroyed lives, worlds and cultures single-handed, Crota is thoroughly without mercy or even a care for the weak and will not hesitate to kill a weakened opponent or one with their attention elsewhere.

Despite all of this, even considering some past events, he still loves his Father, Oryx, very much and still creates Shrines and Monuments in his honour or kills in his name as well as his own. Normal Hive Interaction for Love is to kill each other and outdo each other in such, but they do share what most would consider tender moments, especially as Oryx would do anything for his Son, disregarding past events.

Backstory: Centuries ago, Oryx desired a Son, an Heir to his throne should the worst happen, siring Crota as the God-Prince upon birth and raising him as he was made from birth: Cruel, Evil and utterly merciless. At some point in Crota's life, due to a trick by one of his relatives, a massive group of Vex where allowed access to Oryx's Throne Room and caused some serious trouble for him as they invaded en mass, learning Hive Sword-Logic and generally making a mess, even Crota's attempt to stop them were fruitless as they teleported repeatedly. Angered, Oryx dealt with them himself and banished them back, but left the Portal open as he took his Son by the leg and tossed him into the Portal, ordering him to "Come back glorious or die forgotten!".

This remains as one of the most brutal, but also most effective punishments given to Crota, as he DID come back glorious enough to be sent to Earth's Moon: Luna, after dispatching the Vex who invaded earlier, all the while making Shrines to Oryx on Luna, dedicating himself to his Father's Will and making sacrifices to Oryx to increase his power and satisfy his Worm. During this time, he killed thousands of Earth's Guardians during The Great Disaster with his former weapon: The Sword of Crota, which devoured their Light and killed so many in seconds, but at this point, Guardians were weak, so that wouldn't be possible now.

Now, Crota is awaiting further instruction from his Father, who resides now in the land once owned and ruled by Emperor Korben.

Accepted! I certainly approve of the idea. Plotwise I believe it would be very interesting for Oryx to have a son, plus we need more influential power on the New Empire's side.

Yeah,I need a recap.

You've got it. I'll try to get this to you later today, if possible. Right now I'm headed off to get some things settled at the campus, but I'll definitely do that when I get back. : )

Hey there!  To give Mystic's Apprentice a break, this'll possibly help.  The majority of the post would be Emerald's/Yuffie's original recap from several pages back, but I will outline my additions in VIBRANT RED RUS.

Seraphim Order:

After time spent rebuilding the village of Rhasolvich that was heavily damaged in an Imperial attack, Vortludo and Ava return to the City of Ruin by airship, with new recruit Kaspar in tow.

Meanwhile, Jynn Venas comes to the City of Ruin looking to join the Order. Cobica engages him, suspicious of his motives, but Yevgeni breaks the fight up. They agree that Cobica will visit the country that Jynn claims to be the king of. Cobica goes with Jynn to find Venas-ville, which ends up being underwater. Once there, Jynn's wife Riley joins the group, and Cobica grants permission for Jynn to bring troops back with them.

Back in the City of Ruin, Ava and Vortludo land and greet Yevgeni before departing, leaving new recruit and necromancer to speak with Yev.

Throughout all of this, Yagyu had been recovering with Rei, and after speaking with each other for a short time, they head back to the City of Ruin so that Rei can be recruited into the Order. Now, every member that's in the City of Ruin is in the dining hall, enjoying a feast/meeting.

Not many changes here.  Yagyu confronted Kaspar the necromancer in the City of Ruin, and Yevgeni gave a semi-triumphant, semi-slippery speech to his Seraphim Order.

Messiah:

Eclaire came to the cells of Yltriss and the Doctor, desiring intel that Yltriss refused to give. Yltriss promptly made fun of Eclaire and Messiah, then the Doctor taunted Yltriss, and asked Eclaire to be let out so he could actually do some good. Eclaire then assaulted Yltriss, stripping her of her clothes and verbally destroying her, then let the Doctor out to go work on some new tech.

After this, it was time for the meeting, during which Eclaire gave several orders, mostly relating to raids on Imperial bases, fleets, and factories. Eclaire and her fleet was task with heading to Shivering Moors to recruit the elves to Messiah's cause. It was not long after all operatives departed on their respective missions though, that news came in of an Imperial assault on the rebel towns of Hylvania and Kaipora. Eclaire reassigned various tasks to the operatives already departed, in particular the Caladbolg to assist in the defense of Hylvania and the Kusanagi to do the same at Kaipora. Other individuals were to head to these towns after completing their other mission.

Fiora, after the meeting with most, if not all, of Messiah, went off to meet with Yltriss and Gabriel, both prisoners aboard the airship base Oathkeeper.  Yltriss is now clothed and choked down the Doctor's concoction to stem off tanzynite withdrawal, as she suffered it beforehand.  Gabriel stepped outside of the cell, opening it with his mechromancy abilities, and offered his services for Messiah.  Jadis is having fun with blade-bearing dwarves, Ciriel is heading for Neena/Henry's apartment where a domestic dispute may arise at any given moment (see OTHER), and chaos is ensuing in Biromoore (see OTHER).

New Empire:

A meeting happened in which Oryx planned out the attacks on Kaipora and Hylvania, which the Zane was assigned to Hylvania, and Isaac, Indy, and Kinzoku were to siege Kaipora. Oryx also met with Dorian, and signed an exclusive trade agreement with the Orient. The Crow's Eyes were to gather information on the Seraphim Order, and report it to Oryx, but they instead decided to join the Seraphim after robbing the Imperial vault.

Zane grew impatient, and attacked Hylvania before the planned time. The assault was going well, but then the rebel group the North launched a counter attack, and beat the troops back. The Caladbolg also arrived and began dealing damage. Stark, leader of the North, just engaged Zane in battle.

Kinzoku, Indy, and Isaac have begun the preparations for their assault, and are just now leaving Langerdon for Kaipora.

The simultaneous assault on Kaipora and Hylvania is resulting in devastation on both sides, but no losses of our main fighters or generals are recorded yet.  Kinzoku, Indy, and Isaac are now in Kaipora, confronting a powerful new threat by MDSVeritas's character, Kavris.

Other:

Sahail and Dark Heart are headed for Pandora, traveling like good old buddies on a road trip. Except they hate each other, and Dark Heart has already burst and cut of Sahail's hand off once, before sewing it back on with a warning.

Neena and Henry, unaffiliated rebels reside in Langerdon, enjoying some time to themselves before Ariana, an ex-Imperial came to their doorway, asking questions about her former colleague Chrysalis that currently is a part of Messiah.

Keyes' pod was activated by Rufus and Deuce, and chaos ensued. This is the only plotline I haven't been able to follow, sorry. Atrias, riku, or Vaude could probably fill in what happened.

Cyler stole a truck and is somewhere on the road to Biromoore.

Cyler is confronting two (or three) others in Biromoore, duking it out with Zanza (a DMD Vergil clone), Jeremy (Sabre's character and the Oathkeeper's owner), and Draksis (I don't know, some imperial guy with powers).

As for Rufus, Deuce, and Keyes, things broke up in the following order:  1.) Deuce's sister showed up and confronted Rufus and Keyes, 2.) Rufus and Deuce teleported out of the area after being forced into a predicament, leaving Keyes on his own, 3.) Deuce's comrades brought Deuce's sister into an unconscious state and let Keyes walk off (to or away from Krile, the nearest town, I have no idea), 4.) Deuce is welcomed aboard Rufus' ship and given a healing medication, and 5.) Rufus' ship coasts toward Keyes' pod to later find that all was abandoned.  That sums it up nicely, I think.

The moment Oryx find out about Dorian, Crota is being sent after him.

No fuss. Oryx doesn't like betrayal, and he won't even take Dorian, he'l just order the bastard dead.

Good thing no one knows about Crota :D

Next up, the ceph from Crysis. Just because.

Finding out will be the fun part

Indeed it will, well, it certainly seemed like they knew about the attack already, with this much preparation and Messiah's ships, so the empire will already know there is a spy among them.

ANd what better than the guy who wasn't even affiliated with them who came to strike a 'business' deal with Oryx?

Everything about Dorian screams suspicion...

Only the crow's eyes.

They got pendants that protect against Oryx's ability to see through their eyes. No one else has immunity to it, other than having enough willpower and magic to resist it.

Actually, it would seem Vaude and Yuffie beat me to the recap.  Thank you so much, guys!  This helps tremendously.  Some basic things to know would be the intro at the start of the RP: it gives a history of the world and why the events are the way that they are.  An empire has fallen, and this is the result.  A year after the great war, the New Empire is starting to seize hold of new territory, and currently two Rebellion societies (Kaipora and Hylvania) are under siege.  Vaude quoted and wrote the majority of what took place below (my other quoted post), though there are a few additional incidents currently taking place, namely with characters rather than the plot.  Shinobi is currently neutral siding with the rebels, in the stand down with Karvis (neutral/rebellion) and Isaac (New Empire general).

What I would do is choose what side you'd like to be on, create your character sheet, and I can offer some specific scenarios that might be a good fit for your character.  We have a lot of characters and the plot is rather quick-paced, so giving a full background on each event is going to be incredibly tedious, lengthy, and confusing.  Just knowing the basics and immersing yourself in, along with the information provided above and below, will probably be of most use to you. : )  Let me know if I can be of any more assistance.

Hey Sora's baby, here are 2 things forgotten in recap for ya

1 - Dark Heart & Sahail where heading towards Shivering Moors not Pandora & they are currently already within the village Shivering Moors now.

2 - Here's the whole attack on Godolvia that went down in the spoiler & it includes where the dwarves are within Godolvia too.

3-4 days ago now the village or city of Godolvia was destroyed & many died without remorse, mercy or guilt & most of them were ex-imperials. Oryx took this attack as a sign of war after hearing it & that the Seraphim Order was the cause of it all. But this was false info that Zack created to not only frame the Seraphim Order to the world seeing them as nothing but killers but to also anger Oryx into full swing against them. Zack tricked & used Dark Heart into sending her to the village or city to destroy it & it's people. While at the same time Yagyu was on a mission in Godolvia with a group of allies that Yev sent her on to recruit more people to the Seraphim Order, Yagyu's group tried to recruit some ex-imperials to join them but instead they chose to attack her group causing a battle that slightly damaged the village or city. After the battle Yagyu's group was approached by Dark Heart, Dark heart took out her groups leader so Yagyu held off Dark Heart to let her group escape to safety with her leader but they were killed off by Sahail who had entered the town mainly aiming to kill off any imperials & anyone else she wanted. This is were Dark heart & Sahail met each other. Yagyu couldn't defeat Dark Heart & barely escaped which Rei finds her later on. After which Dark Heart & Sahail join up to destroy the village. Afterwards Zack finds Dark heart but is betrayed by her & with help from Sahail kills him off & greatly damages the whole village of Godolvia leaving a massive hole in the middle of the village. Dark Heart left some survives which Sahail hated greatly, mostly being kids. Ariana was in a nearby diner & could see Sahail in her dragon form before they left. The dwarves at this time are & have been underground through the whole thing as the dwarves city is under the village of Godolvia as they are mainly mining & stuff. Zack didn't know about the dwarves underground & that's why their still alive. Eclaire doesn't know Godolvia has been greatly damaged yet but knows the dwarves are under the village or city of Godolvia.
