I feel like a lot of people in this community is setting themselves up for disappointment, we get a picture with the KH3 logo on it and everyone goes rampant and wild assuming we are getting a new trailer when in reality it's probably just gonna be a 2.8 trailer. The tweet said "trailer" and we know KH2.8 is confirmed for Jump Festa so i doubt we're getting anything KH3 related. If we do, then great. But I'm just saying, if we don't then it's YOUR FAULT and not Square Enix's. They haven't promised anything. It has the word 'trailer' so either it's 1 long trailer which I doubt or just a 2.8 trailer. Maybe, they may do what they did with one of the 2.5 trailers and throw a secret KH3 trailer in (I think it was at E3, with xehanort and eraqus) that's possible. The sense of entitlement that plagues this community is really bad sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I love everyone in the KH community but when we don't get news or info or footage that we aren't even promised, most people start moaning at Square Enix like it's their fault when it's ours for getting our hopes up.

I think we'll probably get something kingdom hearts 3 related at jump festa. the picture shows the kingdom hearts 2.8 and 3 logos so it's not really a stretch to think that kh3 is probably going to be shown there. What I think is a stretch is people thinking that we're going to get another new world reveal when we'll probably not

If we get a KH3 trailer that would be AWESOME, but if not I wouldn't be disappointed, since I'm not expecting one

My opinion is fairly similar, but I would rather say that I don't care if we get a trailer of any of them or not

Exactly. Heck, I'm not even holding my breath on the 2.8 trailer. I know I might sound like a pessimist, but I'd rather be wary and then pleasantly surprised than be super hyped and then disappointed.

I think that it is entirely Square Enix's fault if we don't get a KH3 trailer. They put up a KH3 logo on the poster, so they should follow up with it and give us a trailer. I know it says trailer, rather than trailers, but I think that is more likely to be a mistake than putting up the KH3 logo.

KH3 will appear in some way, that's all that has been confirmed, no trailer has been promised to fans.

I agree with you and plus I'm not going to be upset over Square Enix nor Disney if there isn't a smidgen of KH3 there. When I see the picture with both logos, I was like: "Ok, I could see this in a few ways." And plus I still have it in my mind of what was mentioned before all of this that, HD 2.8 FCP is going to be mentioned at the event.  

 

And I really do see it in a few ways. 

1. It could be just a HD 2.8 FCP trailer.

2. It could be a HD 2.8 FCP trailer with a smidgen of KH3.

3. It MIGHT be the same trailer that was shown at D23. ( I really doubt that it is...) 

 

That's one reason why I going stay in the dark to observe through the so-called "hype" of the overexcited fans. Just using them as guinea pigs, and see if it's safe to cross the bridge or see that bridge crumble before my eyes. No all aboard the "hype" trains, or jumping the bandwagons. 

 

So far, I've seeing/hearing a lot of fans so far thinking KH3 might make an appearance. I'm also seeing that some are still sore over that D23 fiasco.

I see what you mean and agree with it. I mean, looking back at D23, people fell into that trap. I call it the hype trap. It's basically when there is an unreasonable amount of it, that when something they expect to happen doesn't, they hate it and the company that is behind it. That's why I cringe when I see people say on here "all aboard the hype train" or "hype up" or something like these examples. These could be the people that could and possible will be the most disappointed, or even angry and everyone else has to suffer hearing their unreasonable, immature, and unwarranted rants for at least one week. That's why I kept a cool head with D23 and not seeing anything was not so bad.

The thing that we should do is, not really want to see anymore new footage of kh3, i say it's both fans and squares fault as they have been showing trailers since it's been on alpha stage which is ridiculous, even if its pre rendered it still takes time out of development to make new promotional stuff when the release was years away and might be now.

You have a point, We should only expected 2.8 as now is not the time to be that excited for 3, 2017 is where promotion of kh3 is when it's going to go full force, people should stop expecting a new trailer just to be excited for something that isn't coming next year.

I'm excited but necessarily "hyped" I've known for a long time that getting over excited leads to your mind making crazy 'what if's' and expectations that ultimately leave you sad, angry, or even depressed. Still, the enthusiasm is infectious no matter how much I try to ignore it x) TL;DR I'm curious to see what Square has in store for us but I won't feel like Square Enix "betrayed" me because of wild theories.

You guys do realize KH3 is confirmed right? I don't get where you guys are saying that it isn't confirmed. It is certainly/most likely one trailer, but KH3 footage is confirmed. So yeah.... Lol.

I'm happy we got the trailers! I will admit i was wrong in most aspects but i stand by my views about the community. Still, I'm glad we got the trailers.
