catmaster0116 2,676 Posted December 15, 2015 I have that book....wasn't it supposed to be an encyclopedia of monsters from the Harry Potter Universe? How did they make a film out of that? It'd be like making a film out of the oxford dictionary or a biology textbook. Oh my goodness...I've just realised that Acromantulas have a chance of appearing in this Film....Please.....not the spiders....I hate spiders 3 Official Bowtie Artist, Yuya Sakaki and Sora96 reacted to this
Green Sparrow 795 Posted December 15, 2015 Before the trailer I was kinda meh about the film, and now... I'm still kinda meh. Idk, I'll probably like it more once I see it. For now, it's still near the bottom of my anticipated 2016 movie list.Interestingly enough, Doctor Strange will come out on November 4th, while FBAWTFT comes out two weeks later on November 18th. Both of these movies are about magic people. I think DS will be the better movie, but idk who will win box office. Seeing the Marvel and Harry potter brands go up against each other will be interesting...

AwesomeKHfan 1,250 Posted December 15, 2015 I'm a big Harry Potter fan. I read all the books, watched all the movies, played almost all of the games. HYPE! 1 Official Bowtie Artist reacted to this
Headphone Jack 1,147 Posted December 15, 2015 aaaaaand of course it's a trilogy lol i like the studios wording for it. "At least" a trilogy. Basically "Of course we're gonna milk it for at least three movies." i guess you can't blame studios for wanting to have a consistent cash flow but still... Anyways so far I'm still kind of indifferent towards it. Maybe the next few trailers will convince me to go see it. 3 AwesomeKHfan, Official Bowtie Artist and Awesome Sauce reacted to this

Riku21Terr 214 Posted February 13, 2016 I’m worried that the lighting/colour grading for the Fantastic Beasts movies will be taken too far like it was for Deathly Hallows Part 2. The lighting in that film was so dark that I pretty much could not see a freaking thing during the main, outside the castle part of the Battle of Hogwarts. I know that they were trying to make it dark to match the thematic tones of the story, but they did not need to make it so literally dark. Even something like Lord of the Rings, which was just as dark or more, did not go that far with its lighting and colour grading. From what has been released so far the film appears to be following a similar kind of lighting style with similar darkish grey colouring. The story does not seem to be as dark and intense as DH2 was so there should be no reason why it will be near impossible to see certain things in the movie. If anyone reading this gets a chance to go to any test screenings, or has any sort of insider connections to the movie, would you please make sure that this is not an issue in any way?
