Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) 3,859 Posted December 7, 2015 So after all of this time I've finally decided to take a look at what Pokkén Torunament actually was, and surprisingly, is a Pokémon based Tekken. Now, here's my question, what's all this hype about? I like Pokémon quite a lot, I've played most of the games, so that doesn't leave me out as a "Pokémon fan". This isn't trying to be offensive at all, it's pure curiosity, why do you want to play this game? Sure, it'll be fun, but it just doesn't look like Pokémon anymore, they've just settled a different route, having games like a Candy Crush Pokémon (Pokémon Rush). To be honest, I would play Tekken or Mortal Kombat before Pokkén Tournament, I want to see what's different, why are some of you interested in this title so much! Thanks for the response in advance! Shulk 8,623 Posted December 7, 2015 It brings a new dimension to Pokemon battles, which is really cool. There have been a lot of amazing Pokemon spin-offs, and Pokken looks to be joining their ranks. I'm getting into fighting games, and I love Pokemon, so the idea of both in one game is really exciting to me. The gameplay looks solid, too. 2 Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) and Setrex reacted to this
WakingDawn96 1,166 Posted December 7, 2015 I am actually a big fan of the game already, and you can't change my mind about it whatsoever. The reason why I like it is because it's a Pokemon fighting game that isn't Smash Bros and it keeps a lot of Pokemon elements while trying to make this game very different from Smash Bros, and it is actually more than anything we have previously seen Pokemon do before so it is adding a new element that can turn out to be successful! Plus, it's the one fighting game where I can battle as Suicune since Suicune is my third favorite all time Pokemon, only downgraded because of Oshawott and Chespin! 1 Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) reacted to this

venxas24 544 Posted December 7, 2015 I've recently gotten really into fighting games since they're easily to pick up and play in short bursts unlike RPGs which take a lot of time and need you to be immersed in the story. Fighting games are as much of a time commitment so this will help with people who've gotten out of the RPG games. Also I think it's really cool because it's what I've always wanted from a Pokemon game. In the show they don't take turns or only know 4 moves at a time and this is a lot like that. You have multiple moves and can use them whenever you want so it fulfills my dreams. It just adds a new dimension to pokemon game and it looks cool too 1 Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) reacted to this
