Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted February 2, 2016 -Roxas- Roxas smiled at Snow's reassuring words. It was nice to have the older male as a friend, especially since every other parent on the island... Didn't treat Roxas to well. Being a Nobody wasn't received very well. It doesn't help that not many trusted him in the first place. "Thanks for being so understanding. I think I can hold down the fort here... But hurry back just in case. The mayor barely put some actual thought into this entire fiasco and didn't think to send a few aids to help the kids get settled." With a sigh, Roxas bid a wave to Snow. He went in front of all the students, raising his voice to get their attention. "Hey everyone!" Roxas announced, smiling and holding an hand to his chest. "As most of you may know, my name is Roxas and it's really cool to have you all here. I'm just going to give you a small little tour around the school and show you to your dorms. We've roomed you according by family, so some of you may be roomed by yourself. If you want though you could request to be roomed with another person, or just simply decide once you get to your rooms. Just let me know so I can write it down." Roxas said confidently. 'The mayor is probably gonna have a fit I'm letting them room with whoever they want... But who cares.' Roxas thought. -Dexter- Dexter meanwhile exited the parlor, blushing as Fiona held the door out for him. "Thanks." Dexter said with a smile. Once they were outside, Fiona's words caused Dexter to sigh. They really should've brought their bikes. But it might've wouldn't have helped anyway since Kurai didn't have one either. "Er... It's not THAT far..." Dexter said while rubbing the back of his head. "Just a bit of a walk." Suddenly, Kurai summoned a Dark Corridor, and Dexter's eyes widened at the sight. 'A Dark Corridor...' Dexter thought, looking down at his hands. 'Not the only one...' He looked up to Kurai with small concern written on his face. "I don't mind going through, but it can be dangerous without protection." He looked to Fiona. He didn't care about going through without protection, but he didn't want to see Fiona getting hurt. Azure Flame 670 Posted February 2, 2016 "Dangerous? How so?" Kurai asked. "I've been using these all my life with no problem, except for the fact that I could only go to places in the Forgotten Isles due to the barrier seperating it from the other worlds." He didn't realize the dangers it could pose to those who's hearts weren't already filled with darkness, as his was.
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted February 3, 2016 -Jade- As Roxas announced the room situation Jade walked over, careful to avert his gaze from Vita and her friend. "We're being roomed by family? Does this mean my brother and I will be roomed together? I don't have any family, or at least not here." It felt like a stupid statement, but he thought it would be worth putting forth. After all, this was Vita's, eh, sort-of uncle, and others had family living on the island. He set his laptop case on top of his suitcase, raising his arms over his head and stretching. The school was large, spacious, and altogether lovely. It was a place he could readily call home, and yet . . . how could he, now that he doesn't wield the Keyblade? Meanwhile Snow waved in Roxas' direction. "I trust you can keep these young whippersnappers in their rightful place. I'll be back in a flash. Since my own daughters are missing, I have a feeling the missing kids might be with one of them, and I have an inkling on where to look." Snow liked to pride himself in thinking he knew his daughters well, even as they aged and matured. Fiona was daddy's little girl--always had been, and always would be, as far as Snow was concerned. Still, he was slightly concerned that Val and Fiona were missing, particularly with the Fatefaire kids. "So far I think only Azriel and Kurai are missing, or at least those were the names that I was missing from the roster. Ciao, and I'll be back before know it." The engine of his Honda roared to life, and Snow quickly veered away from the curb and down the street. -Fiona- A small gasp escaped Fiona as Kurai opened a dark portal beside them. Her pink-blonde brows pinched into a frown. "Are you sure this is really a good idea, Kurai? I mean, I don't know if they're even allowed on the island," she uttered, her squeaky voice barely more than a whisper. Immediately she glanced over to Dex. She trusted her friend's sense of judgment, perhaps with her life. If his expression were approving she would be willing to go, but the hesitancy drawn upon his own face made her heart beat faster in her chest. "Besides, if we arrive to the school through a dark portal, what would Mayor Moogle have to say? Would he be approving of us using the darkness?"
Azure Flame 670 Posted February 3, 2016 "Whatever." he said, closing the portal. "I was just trying to help." He put his hands in his pockets and turned his back to them. He didn't understand why they would act like that. Why wouldn't it be allowed? It's a form of transportation, one he's used several times in his life. Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted February 6, 2016 Roxas chuckled as Snow announced his plans. Honestly he wasn't shocked to hear that Fiona was probably with them. Roxas was downright certain that Dexter was with them as well, especially if Fiona was there too. "I know Dexter is with them. He always gets himself into trouble. I just hope he isn't doing anything stupid." With a stressed sigh, Roxas ran a hand through his hair. "Good luck." Just then Jade approached Roxas and asked about the rooming situation. With a smile, Roxas nodded down at Jade. "Yeah. You and your brother will be sharing rooms together. Don't worry though. They're really nice rooms so you both should be very comfortable. I know because I helped built them and prepare them for you." Roxas crossed his arms rather proudly, obviously happy with his work. He was certain the rooms were perfect. "You can decorate your room however you'd like. Just try to keep it clean alright?" Dexter meanwhile frowned as Kurai turned his back to them. Dexter was afraid of upsetting the newcomers. He wanted to make friends. Not make anyone feel uncomfortable. Dexter slowly reached out his hand and placed it on Kurai's shoulder. "Hey, it's okay!" Dexter said with a smile. He hoped he could lift Kurai's mood. "I think it's cool that you can open a dark corridor. I'd love to try it sometime. I just don't want any of us to get in trouble. Besides, we gotta show you where it is and the other cool places along the way."
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted February 8, 2016 -Jade- "No, I'm the kind of kid that likes to crumble his crackers in the carpet and jump on them for good measure. I don't think I can keep the room clean." Jade's emerald eyes flickered to Roxas', bemusement dancing in them. For a moment he wondered if Roxas would be able to tell he was kidding, given his deadpan humor and serious tone. But if he didn't . . . oh well. "And, if possible, I would like to share a room with a different kid, if you don't mind. Someone from here. My brother and I don't . . . exactly get along very well anymore." It was a long story, and he'd hoped Roxas wouldn't try to go into it. Just last year Jade would've done anything just to share a room with Kurai, for his company and to keep him safe. Now he's been wanting to distance him as much as possible, partly out of pain and also because Kurai had been unusual toward him. Deep down he truly missed his brother, and sometimes it felt that it was ripping his soul in two. -Fiona- Fiona scratched the back of her head. It seemed like they were easily offending the kids from the Forgotten Isles today. "Hey, yeah! We have lots of other neat things to show you. 'Sides, there's nothing like a good walk with plenty of fresh air, conversation, and--oh, God, no." The color drained from Fiona's face as she stared out over Kurai's shoulder, eyes wide in their sockets. Her mouth still hung open from her last words. Honestly, one would've thought that she'd seen a ghost. Behind Kurai, a red Honda minivan pulled up to them, which slowed to a halt as they approached. Every inch of Fiona's body craved to run and hide, but it was too late. She'd been spotted by daddy. "Well, well, I guess that I know my daughter as well as I thought." The driver's window rolled down to reveal Snow Villiers, an unreadable grin upon his face. "With two boys and hiding away from all. Dex, your dad's likely worried you've been abducted by Fi or something." Thankfully he didn't seem mad, but still this was not the meeting that Fiona hoped for. Her cheeks turned a dark shade as her father embarrassed her in front of her two friends, causing her to slam her fists to her sides. "Daddy, we were just getting some ice cream and showing the new kids around! You don't have to go around making such a big deal about this! God!" She threw her hands up in the air, flabbergasted. In response Snow merely shook his head, the grin disappearing from his face. "I'm not making a big deal of this. Honey, I was teasing. If anything you gave us all a bit of a fright by disappearing." He opened the van's passenger door with a button by the driver's seat, allowing the three youngsters entry. "By the way, where's Azriel?"
Stardustblade358 806 Posted February 8, 2016 They would be sorted out by family. "Which means..." Vita slowly turned her head to look at Zephyrus, who happily remained by the side of her pink haired friend. Oh this should be good. Vita gently groaned, rubbing her head at the thought. They were, by all technicality, cousins. Because her father came out as a result of the darkness within Ventus' heart and all that bullcrap. But even so, it terrified her. Zeph was...blunt and very childish, to the point where she could accidentally insult someone and not even notice or care. What if she got any ideas of pulling pranks on her while they roomed together, which was the most likely scenario? Vita could handle a few pranks but how far until it turns into something that ends up killing her, or worse? Maybe she was just overreacting, as most teenagers do when they have their small teenager crisis. But this was Zeph they were talking about. She could last a day full on only a lone chocolate bar and some milk. To even be able to keep up would be a pain in the butt. "Oh great." Vita said rather sarcastically, murmuring beneath her breath. She crossed her fingers. "Please a room to myself, please a room to myself..."
rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted February 8, 2016 {Val & Aqua} Behind Snow's car rolled up a light blue sedan, driven by Aqua, with Val as her passenger. "Thanks, Miss A." Val said, hopping out of the car. "No problem, Valerie." Aqua said with a smile. "I look forward to seeing you in class." "You too." Val responded enthusiastically, not sure what else to say. The older Villiars child jogged over to her father and sister, smiling a little at what seemed to be happening. "Dad! Does Fiona already have a date?" She teased, her smile breaking into a full grin. Aqua watched the Villiars for a moment, wistfully wishing her two children were so light hearted. Eraqus had unfortunately been given both a serious personality and a connection to darkness that made it worse. Acta could be alright, but she tended towards mischief. She loved them both dearly, but, like all parents, she wished they were easier to raise. {Acta, Eraqus, & Terra} Acta and Eraqus sat in silence in their dad's SUV as he drove them to the academy. They had had a short talk in which Acta was told firmly not to antagonize the new students...until they went over the line. Terra believed in second chances, as he had felt he needed one after being freed from Xehanort's control, but he also believed in keeping what you loved safe. Thus, he had been laying ground work to prevent too much damage from being done if/when one of the new kids followed their parents' foot steps. Eraqus had known about his father's plans since the announcement of the new program. He had thought it prudent, considering the potential danger the children of villains could represent. His feelings on the matter were much more...direct and harsh, but he had long ago learned to keep his feelings from effecting his judgement. "Mom knows about this, right?" Acta finally asked after a few minutes of silence. "That there is a plan, yes." Terra answered. "She does not know details. As a teacher, she has to put her feelings aside and help the student, no matter who they are. She wants to help, but can't." Acta nodded. That was mom. Always following the rules. Still, being a secret guardian against an evil that had been invited in the door did have an appeal. This could be fun.
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted February 10, 2016 Dexter was just about to go along with Kurai and Fiona to the academy. But a car pulled up. Dexter knew exactly who that car was. Fiona's dad. Dexter's face turned a very unhealthy shade of red. He was always nervous around her father. Dexter rubbed the back of his head, laughing nervously as he greeted Snow. "H-Hey, Mr. V..." Dexter trailed off, trying to playing it off like he was okay. "My dad... He worries all the time. A-And- um- no sir... Fi did not abduct me. You just missed Azriel too. He left to go to the school." Just then, another car drove up and out came Val out of Aqua's car. Great. Val immediately went on about Fiona having a date, which Dexter had to pipe in. "Ah, we were all just hanging out." Dexter said. "No date..." Why him. Meanwhile, Roxas raised an eyebrow at Jade's strange humor. It definitely amused him. Luckily Roxas could tell Jade was just joking. "Well then, have fun with those crackers." He couldn't help but be surprised when Jade asked to be roomed with another person. Roxas could tell it was something Jade did not want to talk about, so Roxas nodded and left it at that. "I... I don't see why not. Your brother and new roommate has to be okay with it. If you want you can go talk to someone and see if they'd like to room with you. It has to be boys though." Roxas cupped his hands around his mouth to make another announcement. "Just another thing, if you want to be roomed with someone else let me know! Feel free to ask me any other questions!"
Saber Lily 1,543 Posted February 10, 2016 Luxanna pressed closer to Zeph. "...I wish we were roomed together..." She said softly to Zeph. "...it'd be nicer to come back to a friend..." She didn't have many friends sadly, so...it wasn't the best thing for her. ------------------------ Madoka was waiting at the school by now, wondering if she had the unlucky job of showing the class around, or if someone from the Student Council would save her. --------------------- Jack said nothing. As soon as possible, he got out of the car and moved away from these crazy people.
Azure Flame 670 Posted February 11, 2016 "So, you are Fiona's father?" Kurai said, looking at the man that came out of the vehicle. He definitely looked physically strong, but physical strength wasn't everything. "I am Kurai, son to Master Xehanort and Maleficent. You raised a fine daughter, sir. Not only does she care about her friends, but she also doesn't blame us children of darkness for our parents mistakes, unlike that girl who threw the rock at me earlier. She tried to make me feel better, and her and Dex even treated us to ice cream, which we never had before. It's people like her that help me feel that maybe, one day, I can get rid of the darkness in my heart." With that, Kurai bowed to them and got in the car. Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted February 12, 2016 -Jade- Any roommate he wanted, huh? He cupped his hands, shouting at the back of Jack's head. "Hey, Jack! Want to room together?" He didn't know anyone else to choose, to be brutally honest. There was Terra's boy; that might've been interesting. However, he still didn't quite know what to think of him. If only he could wield the Keyblade . . . . Finally he turned to Roxas and nodded in thanks. "I appreciate it, Mr. Roxas, sir. Thank you for your help." He was curt in response, though his gratitude truly was sincere. -Fiona and Snow- Both Snow and Fiona seemed surprised by Kurai's words, though both had their own way of responding. Fiona turned a deep shade of crimson, hiding slightly behind Dex, while Snow grinned and scratched the back of his neck. "That's my girl," he said proudly. "We don't believe in bad guys at our house. Either your actions are good or they're bad, but everyone deserves a chance. Heck, I still think everyone even deserves a second chance." While Snow held an unpopular opinion, his words were true. It had brought peace to their island after the villains had been confined, but at what cost? There were so many kids like Vita and Kurai that were made to suffer. Innocent, beautiful children accursed to the punishment their forefathers brought upon them. Everyone made mistakes, in Snow's opinion, and still he felt that even the villains should be invited back, granted that they were kept in control and behaved. "Thanks, Kurai. I am glad that my daughters are going to have a friend like you." Speaking of daughters, his elder daughter emerged from Aqua's vehicle behind them. Upon her taunt Fiona's fists clenched tightly, her face a brilliant red. "What did you say, Val?!" Fiona boomed. For a little girl that is normally mild-mannered and friendly, this ferocious beast was anything but. She leapt up and tried to tackle Val, her face burning from embarrassment and shame. "How many times do I have to tell you people?! I'm not dating! I don't have to be teased every time I'm seen near a boy, jeez louise!" In response Snow only sighed, rubbing the side of his head. "And of course, who ever said that us 'heroes' are perfect? We've got our problems, too." He turned, heading back to his van, without even bothering trying to rip the sisters apart. "C'mon, let's all get back to the school. Dex, feel free to take a seat near me. I think it's going to be a minute before the cat fight is over."
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted February 13, 2016 Roxas smiled at how happy Jade seemed to be. Still... He wondered why he didn't want to room with his brother. Did he dislike his brother? Roxas could sympathize... Kinda. He didn't want to pry into Jade's business, but still wanted to help nonetheless. Perhaps he could seek out Jade later and offer advise. Roxas smiled as Jade thanked him and went off in search for a new roommate. Roxas waved. "If you need anything let me know!" He called. Meanwhile, Dexter was at a loss of words from what happened next. Kurai, well- said interesting things and suddenly Fiona got into a fight with her older sister. Usually Dexter would beat the shit out of whoever dared to hit Fiona, but considering Val was a girl AND Fiona's sister... Dexter kinda decided that was Fiona's battle. Snow was also there so he decided to just listen and get into the passenger seat. 'Fiona hits so hard...' Dexter thought to himself, blushing at watching the girl fight like a warrior. Azure Flame 670 Posted February 13, 2016 Kurai's eyes widened at the sudden fight breaking out, not expecting it. "My brother and I never fought like that." he said, following the other guys into the car. "I mean we argued, but it hasn't resorted to physical fighting. You sure they're ok?" rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted March 2, 2016 {Val} "Ah." Val said, ruffling up Dexter's hair. "Don't worry, I'm-" That's when her sister stuck. While Val could have held her ground against her sister's attack, she went down on the ground laughing. "Then why are you so touchy about it?" She asked in between bouts of laughter. After a few more moments, Val held up her hands and got control of her laughing. "Okay, okay, I give." She said. "I'm done teasing." {Acta & Eraqus} Terra dropped his two kids off away from the rest of the kids. Acta was going to have a tough enough time dealing with the new kids, so Terra decided to not tempt fate so early in the term. "Hey." He called to his kids as the got out. Eraqus and Acta dutifully turned back to their father. "I love you guys." Terra said. "No matter what, that's a fact." Acta smiled and leaned in to hug her dad. "I love you too, Dad." She said. Eraqus looked at the scene enviously. While he knew in his head that his parents loved him whole heartedly, he had a hard time feeling it. He had to build so many walls to ensure he didn't hurt anyone that it made difficult to emotionally respond to people. Father and son shared a look and nod before Terra drove away. "So, we ready to guard against evil?" Acta asked. "Always have been." Eraqus answered, the led the way towards the schools dorms.
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted March 3, 2016 -Fiona- Sure, Val might've been getting ready to explain herself to Dex, but that certainly didn't stop her any from pouncing. She was mildly surprised when she'd managed to knock Val over, however, and they both went toppling onto the concrete. Thankfully she had the padding of her sister to fall upon, but sadly the same could not be said for Val. When Val surrendered Fiona pulled herself up, the red fading from her furious face. She shook her head, offering Val a hand up and abashedly turned to face her friends already in the van. They both looked shocked at the display of aggression, to which Fiona turned a slight shade of pink. "Okay, let's go," she squeaked quietly, getting into the middle row of her father's van. She grasped her seatbelt and fastened it into place, not wanting to face her father or her friends right now. As soon as Val would enter the car, her father would speed down the road in the direction of the school. It would only be an eight-minute drive, but on foot it would have taken them so much longer. "So, Dex, your father is already at the school, so you'll be in his charge when we get there," Snow called from the driver's seat. "My girls, we're going to show the new kids around and then head home for the night, okey doke? It's exciting having the new kids in town, but I bet they're exhausted from all of their traveling and this change."
Stardustblade358 806 Posted March 4, 2016 (I kind of want to see drama by seeing Vita roomed with Acta) Zeph looked over at Lux and wrapped her arm around Lux's shoulder, bringing her closer and pushing her up to the front just a bit more. "I want to be roomed up with Lux too! Can we mister Roxas? Can I room with Lux? If I don't get roomed with Lux I'll get sad." Zeph said rather bluntly, yet happily. Roxas had raised his beloved daughter with all of his love and cherished her greater than any treasure. Yet Zeph still had the personality of a young girl, who was determined to do things she wanted her way, and wasn't easily swayed. Thankfully she had someone like Lux around to keep her from doing anything crazy. Vita smiled nervously. How many could they room together in a room? If they had bunk beds they could probably have four per room. She definitely wouldn't mind rooming with so many people. "I'll room with whoever I think?" Vita said nervously as she looked over at her cousin. "I certainly wouldn't mind rooming with Zeph and Lux." Vita said with a smile.
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted March 6, 2016 Dexter was rather flustered at the whole situation. Even though both girls were merely having a rather humorous wrestle than an actual fight, it still made Dexter blush at seeing Fiona in such a way. It was rather interesting. Dexter didn't really want to embarrass her any further, so he stood quiet in the car. When Snow mentioned Roxas' father however, Dexter sighed. "Oh great..." He uttered softly. The day couldn't get any better. He knew his father was going to embarrass him some way. Meanwhile Roxas couldn't help but scratch his cheek at Zeph's question. This was more complicated then he thought. "Well, uh..." Roxas said with a chuckle. "I mean, you both aren't exchange students here, Zeph and Lux... But if you really want to then I guess I could ask your parents and the mayor. As long as they're okay with it I don't see why not."
Saber Lily 1,543 Posted March 10, 2016 Lux blushed happily at Zeph's attention, and pressed into her friend. "...yes...I...I'd love to room with Zeph." She said softly. "...that would be really fun." Loud and slightly scary yes, but Zeph made her calm. She then looked at Roxas. "...I think mom can always talk to Mayor Moogle...he tends to listen when she closes the door behind her." Of course what happened behind that door, Lux wasn't aware of. To Xion, oh, she always yelled at Lightning for those stunts...
