    • I always beat 'em on the first try.

    • One to two. There really hard ones I have to try more than once.

Depends on the boss, the difficulty level, and how strong I am in the game. Usually I think I can get them on the first try, otherwise it might take me a couple attempts before beating. But like I said it depends.

Depends on what kind of boss I face in a game and what genre

Keep in mind that my opinion here doesn't include superbosses cuz those are their own separate quests that require postgame skills and stats.

Bosses like say,Xemnas in KH2 or Sephiroth in FFVII might seem hard at first but once you get their their pattern they're pretty managable

on the other hand...............bosses like freakin Lucifer in Shin Megami Tensei IV took me an eternity to beat because of how brutal he was...........I died over TEN TIMES just to beat him and get the Law ending and the neutral ending

It depends on the game's difficulty, and I like playing on VERY high difficulties, but when I play on a sort of standard difficulty, it doesn't usually take me more than 2 tries (actually, depending on the game I may not be beaten untill very hard bosses appear, like in FFXIII).

A few, generally. Depends on the type of game, how I'm playing it, etc.

Also depends on how long I've been playing; taking a break and coming back to something with a clear head and sharper reflexes usually makes it a lot easier to beat a boss.

Depends on the boss and the difficulty. For Example:

Lingering Will Critical= MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY deaths.

Lingering Will Proud= MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY deaths.

Lingering Will Normal= MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY deaths.

Lingering Will Beginner= MANY MANY deaths.

Darkside Proud= 0 deaths

Darkside Normal= 0 deaths

Darkside Beginner= 0 deaths

Really depends on the game and the type of boss. There are games I really like, but I'm pretty bad at. Bastion is a good example of that; I could get through the game fairy well, but those optional arenas kicked my ass every time.

And it depends on whether I'm fighting a story boss or a superboss. And even then it's differs case by case. The first time I faced Xemnas, I beat him on the first try. On the other hand we have bosses like the Fume Knight in Dark Souls 2. Eff that guy. Oh and Lingering Will of course, but his fight actually fun.

I always beat them on the first try. Games nowadays have become too easy. I remember all the hard games and challenging bossfights in my childhood... and now the boss kicks himself in the butt. The hardest thing in a game is to skip a cutscene.

Depends. But on average, I'd say...

2-5 times on occasional Harder Bosses

And 7-20 tries on secret bosses on the normal difficulty.

Regular Bosses usual only take one try to beat, but the real trick is having the strategy on what you must do when the time comes. Being the victim of a Flashy defeat is not as satisfying as getting a cautious and carefully planned victory. :)

Rock on!

There are times when even though I memorize the patterns of the bosses, I tend to lose either because of carelessness, or a sudden surprise I didn't see coming! So normally, for me, it takes about five to six times to beat a boss, and well, if it's for the really hard ones, it takes a few more tries! But that's what I love, the challenge! :D

It really depends on the boss sometimes. However, considering my experience and how I try to play cinematically these days, I probably have the skill level to be in the 1 to 2 times category. Usually if I die more times than that, it's because I'm being too stubborn in trying to fight the boss in the "right" way, to make it look more cinematic. If I was actually trying in a strategic manner without trying to be flashy or anything, I'd probably have enough savvy to beat a boss within 1 to 2 tries, at least for standard bosses on a standard or hard difficulty. If it's a secret boss then it will likely take more than 3 tires, no matter how I go about it.

Like everybody said it depends on the boss.If we're talking about KH bosses specifically, I can beat most of them on my first try on the normal difficulty, but on critical I'll die 0 to 5 times until I recognize all of his attack patterns, when you play KH on critical, you realize how much you don't really need to know the bosses patterns on the lower difficuly settings because you can take so many hits before dying, but then you go on critical and you have to learn how to avoid every attack because its easy to die in one combo. If we're talking about the super hard optional bosses then I'll die 1 million time until I figure out his pattern, the proper equipments and magic spells to use and I'm lucky that they don't spam their bullshit attacks(looking at you 2.5 data Xemnas and the ''we shall go togheter'' attack)

It depends on the game and if I'm doing a challenge playthrough or not. I did a LVL 1 crtical run as ventus and died many times since I was at level 1 and if its a boss like BBS's MF that is extremely cheap and unfair then it takes a while but if it's a fair, well designed boss fight I can usually get it by my second try unless I'm just underleveled like often happens in Pokemon and FF

Beginner mode = 0 deaths

Standard mode = probably 1 death max for a standard storyline boss, maybe twice or thrice for a really hard storyline boss

For super bosses it ranges between 5 or more deaths (Dustflier, Ice Titan) to never having defeated them 'legitly' (Sephiroth, Mysterious Figure and No Hearts or Armour of the Master)

hypothetically speaking I probably would not win playing in Proud or Critical mode

Depends on the game. If there's a difficulty setting, I usually go with the highest or second highest because I like a challenge, so it'll take a couple attempts in most games. Some bosses can also get pretty annoying... The battle at Bionis' Interior towards the end of Xenoblade comes to mind as one that took ages. ._.

For this series, usually only once, unless I'm tired it seems (like I spent ages in the am trying to defeat Demyx and Hyenas at different points, and was able to beat them first try when I woke up refreshed)
