I'm not mad, but I am disappointed. Square Enix haven't disappointed me that much, since I expect a trailer to be released sometime soon, but I'm mad at whoever said it would release at 6AM GMT. I just feel sorry for those who wasted many hours of their sleep waiting for this video.

People need to stop crying, I mean we at least got screenshots and D23 isn't over since it hasn't actually started yet. When it finishes you can sure as hell be salty if no trailer is released.

The fact that Square Enix tweeted that they can't comment on anything makes it seem as though they are on a noose held by Disney. So perhaps it is possible that Square Enix want to release but Disney aren't letting them?

It makes sense that Disney is withholding the trailer from us, since it is technically their event. We really know anything about what's actually going on. The fact that Square refuses to comment on it kinda ticks me off, but we don't know if they have their lips zipped by Disney.

Whether the decision came from Square Enix or Disney,I just don't get why they would make a trailer and only show it to a select group of people.I live in Canada and I have school and other stuff to worry about I can't go to this event, not everybody can go there just to see a trailer,so its kind of unfair for us.KH3 is a very anticipated game too,so I really wonder for what reason they would hide this trailer from the public and if they intend to show the trailer eventually why wait, why not releasing it now, this whole situation is just weird.

I'm not mad a Square Enix though,we got two trailers already which is more then enough for me,we know the game will come out eventually we just have to be patient.

The fact they had a private event for a game trailer is incredibly stupid. The internet exists now, the fans want to see the game, and yet they choose to show a random group of a few.

Or the people who paid for the event should be shown exclusive content, since they...you know, PAID to go. What's the point of going to any event if it'll all be shown online eventually?

Kingdom Hearts is owned by Disney. So yes, Disney can make these decisions. They're probably keeping it till after D23.

I would like to see something official if this is true. I haven't found anything that states that Disney owns kingdom hearts.

Square doesn't really have any obligations to show us anything so i'm not really bothered, put it this way -

Would you rather:

A) Square be super secretive and when the games come out they're really good and surprise a lot of people

B) Square build up an immeasurable amount of hype and when the games come out they completely suck and everyone is unhappy

I know which i'd rather have.

I am a little salty. At this point we already know Square-Enix is prone to making these kind of decisions. But here's what really gets me, Many people have been waiting for KH3 sense 2006 when the secret ending in KH2 Fina lMix was shown. Even then it was called Birth by Sleep but for one many people believed it was KH3 and even if they didn't a future title after KH2 would eventually promise the existence of KH3. After 7 years they finally show it off at E3 2013 with a second trailer coming later that year. Little to no info in 2014. An E3 2015 trailer with the promise of a world based on Tangled, in D23 the same year they showed of Big Hero 6 but this D23 while they didn't show a new world they did show some new information that won't be released to the public. Information for a game we've been waiting for 9 years now and that a lot of people are hyped for. That's what gets me salty.

To be honest I am a bit mad. Now there isn't any proof yet that the trailer won't be shown, but in the past Square has shown that they do deliberately keep content under wraps at some events. This is where I think there is a flaw. It's not good for their image as a company to only show content to a select few and it's certainly not helping boost any sales. I'm sure it's their way of raising hype but it only ends up pissing people off. As much as I love this series and all the work that Square puts into it, I cannot help but be surprised at all the people who continue to defend every decision Square makes. They do make mistakes that make fans angry sometimes and yes while whining about it isn't necessarily the best fix, it might at least on some level let the company know that they are causing fans to distance themselves, even if only a little.

But hey, maybe that's just me.....

They can have a good game at release while also giving people information prior. They're not mutually exclusive from one another.

Really it's just stupid that there's even a possibility of this trailer being exclusive. I don't see E3, PAX, or any other game convention keeping stuff exclusive. This doesn't help hype it up. It just makes people not care about it as much as it would before.

It was from an unreliable source, and after all that waiting for the trailer the night before and only getting screen shots I wasn't really holding much hype, and just went to sleep so not really. Luckily I'm off tomorrow

Thanks for that, now I hope Disney gives KH some more attention. It needs better representation in Disney infinite.
