MythrilMagician 6,963 Posted November 3, 2015 Companies seem to do anything to aquire another successful company these days. Facebook acquiring WhatsApp for 16 billion (or 19 billion as some other sources said) was crazy as well.

J. Severe 1,137 Posted November 3, 2015 that's... a lot of money for a developer that's only made a couple of mildly popular mobile games, I mean sheesh lol
Sora96 17,256 Posted November 3, 2015 that's... a lot of money for a developer that's only made a couple of mildly popular mobile games, I mean sheesh lol That and they made 575 million in 2012. 5.9 is billion is 12 times that.
Captain Swagblader 280 Posted November 4, 2015 That and they made 575 million in 2012. 5.9 is billion is 12 times that. Activision could use some help in the mobile sector, which is probably why they bought off King. If they have a dominance in the mobile market, they could get more people to play their own games. i.e. Call of Duty.
