ZeroKitteh 397 Posted November 2, 2015 As D23 Japan and the premium theater draw closer, I can't get my mind off of when I went to D23 in Anaheim earlier this year, it was such a great experience! If anyone else here went, what was your favorite moment there or some of the most fun things you saw/did? The video game presentation on sunday was amazing Im so glad I was stubborn to wake up early that day. And the Disney/Pixar presentation where they showed off footage from TGD, Zootopia, Moana, Finding Dory, Toy Story 4, Coco and Gigantic was really breathtaking. I met the animator of Bing Bong. In fact I met many Disney animators and had a great discussion with them. But my favourite moment was when I met the Disney animator Mark Henn who animated cub Simba, Mulan, Belle and many other Disney characters I grew up with. Meeting him in real life was such a dream come true. He was very nice and I got his autograph and a very memorable handshake. At that time I was over at the Walt Disney Animation area and watched when the creators of Big Hero 6 explained how they created the movie. But even from that distance I could hear from the stage where they presented The Lion Guard. Yet there were a lot of opportunities that I missed cause of long lines and tight schedule. Yeah it was a tight schedule and I almost didn't make it but the staff were really nice and did their best to let the most in.
