velvetlovetts 10 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) Alright, do you guys remember on kh3D DDD at The Grid, prior to the Rinzler battle, you had a conversation with Xemnas and young Xehanort. The screen went black and there were copies of sora all slowly disappearing as Xemnas said "the bits and bytes that have made up your life so far, can you say for sure that they are not just copies of someone else's? [memories]" what did that mean exactly? Might that be something bigger for kingdom Hearts 3? Or did I miss something? Chronomagister 152 Posted November 2, 2015 He meant that if Sora was really himself an individual being with his own emotions and memories or was he in reality just a conglomeration of different people (Roxas, Xion, Ventus, everyone else he has inside him and/or has connected to at one time or another) and their memories and experiences and feelings. How does Sora know he's even himself or just an assimilation of others fused together in his body. If they all left, will he still be himself or would he just be an empty shell, with nothing to cling onto without "his memories." Ven has been with him since he was born and Roxas is a separate entity with his own memories as well as Xion. How would he be if they were released all at once. These are all serious questions, but i think Xemnas was just toying with him to scare him or make him doubt himself. 12 Master Eraqus, RikuFangirl2008, The 13th Kenpachi and 9 others reacted to this

It leaves me wondering if Sora will possibly lose everything in Kh3, I can't get over feeling like there's more to that statement from Xemnas.

Sora's entire journey during Dream Drop Distance was set on a path by Young Xehanort. They were guiding him to their own destination and needed to riddle Sora's thoughts to let the darkness in his heart get the best of him. However, Sora figured out his situation. He knows who he is and that he has always been this way, but these people have all influenced him, regardless of whether or not they're resting within his heart. 2 HarLea Quinn and velvetlovetts reacted to this

He was also right when he said Xemnas was toying with him. That was the whole point/plan with all the Norts to get to the end game in DDD when they needed him as a vessel. He was not gonna be a voluntary one so they had to go to other means to prime him and trick him. They went hard in TWTNW but did it throughout the whole game to Sora after realizing they could not use Riku as a vessel. This was all spelled out in game btw -this is no hidden clue for KH3. 2 velvetlovetts and Hero of Winds reacted to this
DemyxIsBest 367 Posted November 2, 2015 Mansex was just basically being a mega douche to make our young dashing protagonist to fill himself with doubt but, alas, his conquest to achieve a 13th vessel was dashed by our plucky hero's steel will. 1 velvetlovetts reacted to this
