I'm not sure if there's already a topic about this, so sorry in advance. Anyway, what was the first video game you have (or remember) ever played?

I can't exactly remember what my first video game was. It was either Kirby's Adventure or Dragon Warrior IV, both for the NES. When I was little, I was either playing Kirby with my mom, or playing Dragon Warrior with my dad. Of course there were other games I played with them, but these were my favorites! :3 I always enjoyed my time playing these games with my family, and because of that, these games are still very precious to me. <3 If it weren't for these games, I might have never played any other video games that I love so much!

*Edit: Can't believe I forgot to add this, but I was around three or four when I started playing these.

mine was a scooby doo game for the gameboy advanced. I don't remember beating it because I haven't played that game in a VERY long time. I don't think I beat it anyways.

I think my first video game was this really weird game on vtech called alphabet park adventure.

Either that or lets explore the airport by humongus entertainment.

As I can remember, Super Mario Sunshine for the Gamecube was my first game. I received it on my 6th birthday.

Today, I still remember trying to get all the sprites to unlock Mario vacation shirt. Also, I occasionally listen to the soundtrack of the game.

Good old times.....

I was one of those cool kids with a SNES in the early 2000's. As such, the first video game I remember playing was Super Mario RPG.

Mine was Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I played the crap out of that game back in theday. I'm glad SEGA put it on VC for the 3DS for me to relive good old memories with that game.

I'm pretty sure one of my first, if not the first, video game I played was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on PS2. Thinking back, it played a lot like a Zelda game.

I am not sure of mine, but i think it was Pokemon Yellow, Red or Blue.

Depends on the platform we're talking about. Probably some cheesy Magic School Bus game on the PC (they're still amazing shut up) or some variation of Mario for the GameBoy. And, of course, Pokemon Red.

Super Mario Bros. Hard to say if it's really my first but is definitely one of the first video games I ever played!

My first was Nicktoons Unite on the PS2. I was 7, I believe, at the time, and I loved that game to death.

Gex 3: Enter The Gecko. didn't have a saver pak (It was the nitendo 64 version), so it restarted all the time. I literally knew the first level by heart. I was about 8 or 9..I didn't even know games could save, I thought every game just restarted when you turned it off.

My first was probably some PC Elmo game. But my second, when I was about 3, were PC games made by humongous entertainment, pajama Sam, spy fox, freddi fish, and putt putt. Although they were kids games they weren't poorly made, the games all had multiple endings and each screen was filled with little things to click on and a little animation would play. The story lines were funny too. I didn't play a Nintendo game until I was about 7 or 8 though.

NES with a lot of games, the Zapper, and 2 controllers. Long story short: My mom bought it all from her Co-Worker, when me and my brother were really young.  Got stolen when I was in High School...

1. Jaws (played it. Keep dying...)

2. Super Mario/Duck Hunt (played Mario more. Keep dying at the 1-1 stage/Failed miserably on Duck Hunt.)

3. Super Mario 3 (tried to let it load up but it wasn't working)

4. American Gladiator (My mom wouldn't let me play it when I was little. Teen rating...)

5. TMNT (Tried to play it but didn't know how to play it...)

And there are more that I can't remember.

Not sure, really. I think it was Pokemon Red, since my grandfather had the ol' Gameboy. But it could be anything, honestly.

My first actual video game was probably Days. That might explain why I love Kingdom Hearts so much now.

Winnie The Pooh: Tiger's Honey Hunt for the Nintendo64. That or Pokemon Fire Red for the Game Boy Advance.

I listen to a lot of video game music, and Mario can have very good music.

I still have that game. In fact, its my mom's favorite! Yeah, the first three Harry Potter games had a very rpg vibe to them.

Lol, I remember those games! The one where they went to space was my favorite out of them.

I was actually kinda afraid of Mario for some reason when I was little. Thank goodness I'm not anymore though, cause there are a lot of awesome games in that series!

Ah, I love that game too! But I'm a sucker for crossovers!

Ah, Humongous Entertainment, they were also apart of my childhood. To be honest, I still play these games from time to time; they're very nostalgic for me.

I was playing freddi fish the other day ☺️ I love those games

Lets see...................................................................

I think it was Kirby 64 the Crystal Shards.

Hmm, this is a bit of a tough one for me, since my memory's kinda fuzzy on which game back then I played was my first one!  But, the game I remember playing the most was the PS2 Spider-Man 2002 movie game!  God, I remembered watching my brother play it, and after he left for the USA, he left his PS2 to me, along with all the games he had!  And so, I found myself playing the Spidey game quite a lot!  God, memories! :')  Right now, I'm actually playing the game again!  That's right!  My 2002 Spider-Man movie game for my PS2 still works! :3  Just reliving the nostalgia, ya know? :3

I remember also playing Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex very much!  Another game which I also still have! :3

Yea the first three games were pretty solid. I tried to keep up with the series but the 4th game was pretty meh and the 5th game felt like it had all the life and color drained from it. Probably because around the time of the 4th game, EA had been trying to make the games look more realistic. Bad move, imo.

I think the first game I played was one of the Crash Bandicoot games (Warped, I think). The first game I owned was Kingdom Hearts.

It was something on the SNES, I think. My dad had a SNES before I was born, so I'm pretty sure that introduced me to video games as soon as I was old enough to hold a controller. No clue what specific game, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Super Star Wars... which is actually interesting to think about, given how much I love Star Wars.

Before early 2000's for me, but yes, SNES-beginners unite! Just wish my first game was something that cool. xD I love Super Star Wars, but there are so many SNES games I wish I'd played when I was younger. Biggest example being EarthBound, seeing as how that's my second favorite game now...

I'm not going to count those cheap PC games for kids like Putt Putt and the magic school bus, etc. lol.

Forgive me, my memory is a bit foggy but I think my first video game i ever remember playing was either Pokemon Ruby or Super Smash Bros Melee. But I didn't own them. I just played them sometimes at someone else's house.

My first game and console I ever OWNED though, was like when i was 6. It was  Nintendo DS Lite. And Brain Age 2. I had asian parents. lol.
