I respect everybody's opinions whether if I agree with them or not.

I was upset when I heard that Tales of Zestiria is going to have a battle system similar to Graces. I really didn't like that game. That game put all of my hopes that I want to see in an action rpg upside down. I really hope to either reuse and upgrade the battle system for xillia or create a new battle system that doesn't have anything to do with Graces.

Tales of Symphonia, its the ''Ocarina of time'' of the Tales series.I'm pretty sure its the most popular game of the series too. Most people I know who knows about the Tales series are only familiar with Symphonia.

Graces must've been a rough experience for ya. I never played it though.Tales of Xillia's Battle System and Xillia 2's Chromatus were awesome. I even thought of how cool it would be if they made a Digimon game that played somewhat like Xillia 2.I would ramble on, but the amount of hype you probably have about Digimon is pretty low. xP

They will likely still use a more traditional battle system akin to Symphonia or Xillia in the future, but since the Graces battle system is very popular among the fanbase it is likely that there will be more installments that feature a system based on it.

I'm just unhappy with Namco in general, for many reasons.

I haven't played any of the Tales games aside from Xillia, but Zestiria looks cool. From the little gameplay I saw of Graces, I thought it looked fun, so I think I'd personally enjoy Zestiria. I have other reasons for being upset with Namco.

As long as I'm able to do a simple combo I should be fine with the game. Graces didn't even let me do a simple combo and it seems that I'm able to do at least a four hit combo in Tales of Zestiria which is good enough for me.

Well lets just hope thts the end of the recurring battle systems...

Next minute...

Tales of Grace 2

That kind of did happen with Tales of Zestiria. It can be argued that Tales of Zestiria is basically Tales of Graces 2.0.

I'm more upset by the fact that they've reused the Xillia graphics engine 4 times now (Xillia, Xillia 2, Zestiria, Berseria), when it's really not that impressive. The character models are good, but the colors are all muted and the environments aren't too exciting.

Oh, and that they've been gutting content that was normally in the older games to sell it as overpriced DLC. Don't know if Zestiria is improved in this regard, but Xillia had like 4 costumes to unlock in game. Abyss had at least 4 per character. (Abyss spoilers)

Even Asch got a costume or two, and he's playable for like 2 hours total IIRC.

Vesperia had even more.

Graces battle system wasn't my favorite, but I don't dislike it as much as you do. I can accept the series having two styles of combat, though I agree that I don't want the more traditional style to go away.

Yeah that's the one thing that really bug me about the series right now and I hope Zestiria doesn't do the same. The game lacks extra content but then you go to PSN and there are so many DLC that's not even funny and then japan have cool costumes we never got.

Yep, you are. One of the God Generals literally calls him the "charred remains of the sacred flame" or something very similar. I don't remember the exact wording, but I do remember that scene specifically.

I think it was either Legretta or Largo saying this

I like Emil from tales of symphonia 2 the most by physical appearance because for some reason his character design by stands out to me. I really like his bright blue and black clothing and light yellowish hair.
