Kingdom Hearts is a collaboration. I don't know what Game Radar are talking about. Especially when you look at recent releases, how can you consider it a Final Fantasy spin-off? There's barely been any Final Fantasy influence for a while. It's been going downhill since Chain of Memories. Moogles were the biggest influence and all they did was run a bunch of shops.

Kingdom Hearts is NOT a spin-off. Disney owns Kingdom Hearts.

You should get X/X-2 HD on PS4 also I'd advise getting the proper case for Lightning Returns. Also get Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings.

Speaking of X/X-2 for PS4, I can't find a physical copy other than the limited edition, unless I am somehow searching wrong. Doesn't seem like EB, Target or any other store have it. They all say sold out. I want a good game to get when I buy a PS4 and I want that game to be X/X-2.

Try Amazon.

Never would have thought of that. I forgot the PS4 is region free. Thanks.

While I wouldn't go as far as to say that it is a Final Fantasy title or "spin off" per say, I would call it a bit of a sibling franchise...or maybe a child franchise is more appropriate, so I guess you could say it is the child of Square Enix and Disney. Though if we were to liken Square Enix to Clamp, then Kingdom Hearts would be the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles of the Square Enix library, seeing as how it holds the potential to have cameos from any Square Enix property in some shape or form. But regardless of all the references and similarities it shares with the FF series, Kingdom Hearts is clearly a little too removed to be a Final Fantasy spin-off. The characters are all slightly different from their original counterparts, so really if you want to get technical about anything, at best KH would be considered an alternate universe or dimension, while FF is in it's own. It would be interesting to have Sora in the new Dissidia though, who knows how he would interact with all the characters he's already familiar with? But I digress.

And what about any rereleases that there have been? There's quite a few available on DS and PSP you know.

Technically the DS versions are full remakes. The PSP versions of I, II and IV are partial remakes while III is a port of the iPhone version.

I know, I'm just wondering if he's going for remakes at all, or if he's just sticking with the original releases? Cause if you're going to have 1.5 and 2.5 on there, then may as well go for the remakes and remasters while you're at it. Well, maybe after getting all the originals first.
