Guest Posted October 20, 2015 It's just a thought that popped into my head. The Master Foreteller gathered six particular Keyblade Wielders, made them masters, and alongside the Master Foreteller: vowed to be the guardians of light hence their obsession with the Lux. One particular Keyblade Master was curious and wondered why there needed to be guardians of light when the worlds were full of light. He started to tamper with the darkness and eventually came to realise that there was an imbalance of light and darkness. Convinced that this particular student no longer fulfilled his duties as a Guardian of Light, the Master Foreteller decided to banish him from the Union, and eventually, the war between 7 lights vs 13 darkness's ensued. catmaster0116 2,676 Posted October 20, 2015 The concept of 7 vs 14 was due to the fact that the original X-blade was shattered into 20 shards (7 of light and 13 of darkness). Wasn't Kingdom Hearts still intact during the time of KHX? (i.e. It hadn't yet shattered into 20 pieces) Xehanort should've just called for all the kings horses and all the kings men if he wanted to piece KH back together again. 1 2 quid is good reacted to this
Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted October 20, 2015 The whole existence of the 7 Guardians of Light didn't come about until AFTER the Keyblade War, when the X-Blade was shattered into 7 of Light and 13 of Darkness. It couldn't have been before the fact because the event hadn't had happened yet. Their roles could have been similar to 7 "guardians" of the Light, but in terms of what they actually are, they're just several beings brought together in the interest of protecting the world from falling into Darkness. KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted October 20, 2015 The seven and thirteen did not exist before the Keyblade War. The X-blade did not break apart then into seven and thirteen. The foretellers are not part of the original seven lights. The seven would come after the war and have successors in multiple generations.
Guest Posted October 20, 2015 You guys are right, I should have thought about the lore a bit deeper beforehand. A moderator can come and close this topic now: there's nothing really more to add to this.
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted October 22, 2015 Heh, that's actually pretty badass! And when you think about it, it makes sense, since the 6 Disciples, along with the Master Of Masters, count for 7 total Keyblade Wielders! I really like this theory! Honestly, the Foretellers could have been alternate depictions of light like the Princess of Heart but the traitorous Foreteller did not want to go through with it. That is an interesting way to put it! That just adds to the bigger mystery of things, eh? I bet Nomura and his team are high fiving each other because of all the theories we fans come up with! Haha, and I find that to be an awesome thing for Nomura to do, am I right? Because what's the fun in knowing everything about the mystery? It's always better to keep guessing, which is why I love how the Kingdom Hearts series always leaves me with something new to uncover!
