Buttercup Camera 229 Posted October 19, 2015 (edited) Ever since I started to see some 60FPS videos and some of my friend's recordings.. I started to get headaches and felt rather dizzy. I've never played a game in 60FPS, and I don't know how can people stand it. It feels.. unreal.. and it makes me feel worse than traveling on a boat. Why does this happen' to me? Some of my friends can't stand 30FPS... 60fps is disorientating to me.. I did some search but all I found were rage threads with peopel calling others "peasents" and laughing at their faces. ShadowKeyblade 219 Posted October 19, 2015 Did it have motion blur? If not, not sure how you could get motion sickness from it.

It just feels weird. My head is dizzy and my eyes hurt. ( I wear glasses btw.) Edited October 19, 2015 by Marcomax

From what I can see, it might be just because the game wasn't designed around 60 FPS. I'm not sure about those other games. Any FPS games? Those are nearly always 60 FPS, can't imagine most of them giving you motion sickness. Edited October 19, 2015 by ShadowKeyblade
Lulcielid 159 Posted October 19, 2015 For me 60FPS makes things move way to fast than they should and sometimes it hurts my eyes.
Kyouma-Blade 90 Posted October 19, 2015 I think the reason you have headaches is because you're not used to the 60fps. In a gameplay standpoint, it's almost always better to have more fps, because then your inputs have more precision. It's more helpful in rhythm based games or shooters. Hearts Creed 142 Posted October 19, 2015 I've never really liked the way 60 FPS looks personally. I'm perfectly content with 30 FPS.
OmegaForte 1,674 Posted October 19, 2015 Ironically I'm fine with 60 FPS on video games, but movies on the other hand... sometimes takes getting used to, but I end up leaving it at what the FPS suppose to be by default.
