Haha yeah but back when you were a kid that was when you didn't understand JRPG's yet.

 

And yup, you learn something new everyday lol. To tell you the truth, I found this out by complete accident when I was fighting Chernabog on a normal playthrough .

I've done that before back when I had my PS2. Though I agree he was hard at that time but if you learn his moveset and learn to manuvor them he's a joke even on the original KH1, haha.

I always thought the KH1 Chernabog was easy. Just cast aero on yourself and fly around to the back of his head and attack.

Isn't that true with most bosses tho? Once you solve the mystery behind their attacks, it's not as hard as it would have been if you knew nothing about what they were going to do. I think the main difference between then and now is that those battles where completely new to us, but now we know every little thing about them so nothing they do can surprise us anymore, aside from things like timing. People joke about how easy Sephiroth in KH2 was but did they forget how many tries it still took to take him down in the first place? It's not that the battles get easier, it's just that we get better.

Truer words were never spoken. Yeah, it is true for a lot of bosses in video games. Also, Sephiroth is KH2 IS easy even when you fight him for the first time. His moveset is too predictable compared to how he was in KH1.

I find this one of the hardest bosses Disney for sure. Ursula is easy.

He is relatively simpler than his KH1 counterpart, but he's still a challenge. I died almost as many times as I did against KH1 Sephiroth until I finally beat him the first time. As a kid. He's only child's play to me now because I'm older and more experienced, I've memorized everything he does because I already died a million times before, and with Final Mix I get Limit Form, which almost makes the fight unfair. At that point it's up to me to keep the fight interesting. Must be what a DBZ character feels like. X)"

Oh wow, that was pretty great!  You know, I never thought of using Aero on this battle!  I liked your approach to the battle, and having Tinker Bell to revive you was definitely a plus!  I remember back when I was a kid, it was harder for me to beat Chernabog, but now that I'm where I'm at now, beating Chernabog is child's play! X3

Haha thanks. And yeah Aeroga makes this fight complete child's play as well as Mushu and Tinkerbell summon lol. Though I summoned Tinkerbell so I wouldn't have to waste MP healing myself and have more use out of it with aeroga spells.
