Have you played a Final Fantasy game because of the characters that appeared in Kingdom Hearts?

Yes and No, I got into Final Fantasy because of Kingdom Hearts, but the first game I played was XIII, which none of the characters are featured in KH (yet).

Yes, but I've never latched onto FF. The darker themes just turn me off of the series, except for the older one's. 9 and up disinterest me.

I only played them because of KH: the only reason I purchased Crisis Core was because of Zack in BBS.

That's how I got into VII. Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus where the only games I fully completed, I'm somewhere in the middle of Disc 1 of VII currently.

Actually it's the complete opposite. I am playing Final Fantasy Dimensions because of Kingdom Hearts.

I played FFX because of Tidus and Wakka. Other than else, I usually play FF games.

I played Final Fantasy and then Kingdom Hearts, so I already knew the characters.

Yes and no,I got into Final Fantasy because my friend recommend me Dissidia,but I wasn't convicenced until I saw Cloud,Squall and Sephiroth on box.I ended up buying the game,but what really got me into FF is the story mode of Dissidia,the characters were interesting and I was curious to see them in their original games.

not really. i had heard about the FF series through word of mouth and had wanted to play them but at the time i wasn't a fan of turn based combat. played Persona 3 and then my opinions on it were changed so i had a copy of FFX that I borrowed from my uncle and gave it a shot. I really enjoyed it and since finishing it I've been trying to play through all the main games backwards. Only completed FFX and FFIX though lol

Not necessarily because of specific characters, but yes, I tried Final Fantasy because of Kingdom Hearts. My thoughts on the series overall are... mixed. I love the older entries, but the new ones don't appeal to me outside of a few spin-off titles.

Not really. After playing VIII, X and XII, I wanted to see if the other titles were as good, and only while playing those did I realize that they also featured characters I'd seen in KH.

No, been playing FF games way before I found KH.

Yep, Kingdom Hearts is what got me into Final Fantasy!  I remember that the first numbered entry in the series I played was Final Fantasy IV, and I loved it to death! To this day, it remains my favorite entry in the series to date!  Haha, but yeah, if it weren't for Kingdom Hearts, I probably wouldn't have checked out Final Fantasy!

Nope. But, Dissidia Final Fantasy did get me into the series.

ffx was my first after playing kh1

I feel like I'm the only person here who hasn't played Final Fantasy.

I played FF XI before KH...I hated it As a ten year old I did not have the patience for the turn based battle system.

I have been a huge Kingdom Hearts fan since 2009.  I did not get into Final Fantasy until mid-late 2014 when I decided to watch all the games via YouTube.  I am now up to XIII-2 and am loving every minute of it.  The coolest thing that comes from knowing about each franchise is the fact that I now know who comes from what game and their initial stories before their Kingdom Hearts re-imaginings.  

I was really into FFX before KH but I didn't think to try the rest of the series until KH came around. Same with Disney movies. KH is the reason I ever watched Beauty and the Beast or the Little Mermaid

No. Any ones I recognized I had already played the games they came from, and I haven't played any of the games that had characters I didn't recognize at first... but I did look up their origins.

Yes, I tried to play Dissidia and began to love the FF series and its characters after knowing a lot about them...
