"Heh heh heh! Good one guys!" Kai commented as he smiled. There were still 7 more to take care of. He quickly took out his sword and with a grin, he ran in. "Let's go!" He said. The two Octoroks that Nox hit with their own teammate had jumped up in the air and landed right in front of Kai, with their eyes, of course, very mad. The kid skidded and stopped, being face-to-face with the two of them. He flipped backwards from them, still grinning. At the same time, they both charged up and let out 2 shots of rock projectiles! The shots were getting closer and closer to Kai until....

"It won't work on me this time!" Kai's Deku Shield was brought out and it clashed against the shots! They bounced back and were sent into the air diagonally. The two Octoroks' eyes went from angry to panic. One thought came their minds....

 

They're dead.

"Now it's my turn!" Kai's two legs and feet ran towards the squid monsters. With a "HAH!" heard and a slashing sound, the two were nothing but dark smoke. "4 down! Only 5 more to go!" Pixi said, coming in sight next to Kai.

Irisviel had drifted back to Sara, mostly due to the groups movements...then the Octoroks...

 

Grabbing Sara's hand, she spun, accidently throwing her to the ground as she used her own magic to catch and throw back the cannonball and throw it back.

"Pay attention." She growled, before disappearing into the shadows...and a second or two later, appearing behind an Octorok, slashing it away with Thornscar.

"Monsters..."

Maxwell let out a chuckle, this would be easy, he quickly pulled out his crossbow, and shot one pin arrow at one octorok and fired its second bolt part in the one next to it, soon enough they were pined together as the bolt's rope retracted, pulling them together as Maxwell unsheated his greatsword and did a heavy slash, sending them both flying away, dead. 

 

"3 More!" He said as he sheated his sword and quickly used his katana to slash at the nearest one, which was the one most far from its allies, doing several quick slashes before finishing with a kick.

Rabiyu was watching how the rest of the group was fighting against the Octoroks.

"They are quite the group." She said to herself. "Maybe we have a chance."

The ranger got her bow and an arrow ready, aiming at one of the remaining monsters.

"Ini mini miny...moe"

Rabiyu then shot against one of the Octoroks, killing it successfully.

"Alright. That's another one down." She said to her companions.

Sara had been a bit... stunned when the Octoroks had arrived. Even though she'd spent years practicing, she never had to fight any actual monsters before. However, after Irisviel warned her, she was able to get back to reality. She was chosen as a hero for a reason. I have to be strong and face these, or I will never be able to fight the more powerful enemies we might find...! Getting back on her feet, she pointed her rod in the direction of the last Octorok, and a fireball shot out from her weapon. The fireball hit the Octorok and took it out immediately. "I... did it!" She exclaimed happily. "Is everyone okay?" She decided to ensure that no one was injured at all.

"Yeah! We're fine! You took out the last one!" Kai said, smiling. Now that the path was all clear, they could move on to Lake Hylia. "I'll race you guys there! Heh heh!" Kai was about to take off, judging by his stance. Until....

 

"HOLD IT KAI!" The loud voice of Pixi strikes again. It was one of the only ways to stop Kai from where he was. He wobbled a bit as he almost tripped as he was beginning to run. Kai soon regained his balance and stood still. Pixi then flew in front of his face. "Don't go running off again. You know I hate it when you do that. It worries me."

Kai's face then had a look that seemed obvious that he just remembered. "Oh...Right..."

"Look, just stick with the team and don't go on your own okay?" Pixi asked. As his fairy, it was her job to protect him and keep him in line. Kai's smile soon returned, lighting up the mood. "Alright! I will!" Pixi sighed with relief. Finally the boy listened for once. That should decrease the group's chances of getting into trouble. For now at least.

"Glad we've got that covered. Let's move forward!" She stated, flying to the front of the group, acting as the leader with the others following.

 

Lake Hyila

 

"Finally we've made it!" Kai stated. Looking at the body of water, the many islands that rested in the water, and a building that was near the lake, it would be beyond obvious to say that he was amazed. Kai just took a moment to look around. He never went anywhere else outside the forest except for Hyrule Field, where he spent most of his time. On his right, he saw a scarecrow, sitting on a stick and on a small square of seemingly farming grounds. Kai just took 2 steps forward to just take all in. His eyes were just astonished by the scenery. Pixi meanwhile was floating in the air where the entirety of the group could see her. "Alright you guys! We need to find that Great Fairy that's been captured here!" She said.

"Well, no surprise there Miss Sherlock." Kai commented. "What was that?" She asked, sounding slightly angry. She was then coming in close to Kai's face."Heh heh heh! I'm just kidding!" Kai laughed.

After being given the order to find the Great Fairy, Sara nodded. "I will do my best to find it." Afterwards, she walked over to Irisviel. "Oh, Irisviel. Thank you for protecting me from those monsters earlier." She smiled. Now that she'd thanked the girl, she decided to get back to business. "Now... where would someone hide a Great Fairy?" She asked no one in particular. She gazed around the surrounding area... There were a lot of places to search at Lake Hylia. The fairy could be on one of the islands, or in the building... Maybe even in the water. "How are we going to search for the fairy?" She realized that there wasn't much of a plan at the moment.

That thought had just came into Pixi's mind. Where would they find the captured Great Fairy? Right now, they didn't have a clue..."Oh...Right. Guess I never got that part down." She said. "Warriors....Can you hear me?""WOAH! Wh-Who said that!?" Pixi said, flying around in a zig zag pattern, heading towards Kai and going under his hat. The sudden voice caught her by surprise. "Don't fret. It's me, Princess Zelda. I speaking to you all in telepathy.""Ohh...That's pretty cool!" Kai commented. "Yeah, we hear you Princess." "Alright then. There was one bit of information I forgot to mention about the Great Fairies. They're whereabouts are inside the Temples, where they are being held captive by a powerful creature..." "Well, I have to admit. It makes perfect sense." Kai said. "I wish I could tell you the location of the temple, but I must get going. Ask around to see if you can gain information. I bid farewell!" The Princess's voice was now gone. Pixi then slowly flew out of Kai's hat. "Okay...Now we where they are. We just need to get there! Shouldn't be that hard, right?" She commented. "That depends...Define hard." Kai said.

Irisviel sighed, then walked to the water. Looking into the cool blue water, she straightened up. She went over and grabbed Sara, dragging her to the edge.

"If you're going to talk to me, you get to help." She sat down and began undoing her boots, then slipped her socks off. Standing, she slid her dress over her shoulders and let it drop, revealing...a bathing suit. Because she's always prepared. Stepping out and smoothing the bikini's black ruffles, she piled the items into a small bag and shoved it into Sara's hands.

"Hold that." She then turned, and, grasping Thornscar, waded into the water.

 

Casting a spell of water breathing, she dove in.

Holding his head as Zelda spoke telepathically, for some reason, that gave him one heck of a headache, he didn't exactly know how they were supposed to find this 'temple' Zelda spoke of, so he decided to do the most logical thing, wait for the weird girl to dive into the water and search for the temple down there. "If its really underwater, Im gonna die, can't swim with this armor..." he said with a sigh as he found a tree log to sit on as he waited for the search results.

Sara waited quietly after Irisviel had taken her over near the water, and happily took the bag that the girl had offered her. "I will make sure that nothing happens to it, Irisviel!" She spoke dutifully. She admittedly would have also liked to go into the water, but if the temple was down there, she'd be following soon enough. She wasn't really prepared for swimming, though, especially since she didn't know how to... She decided to worry about that later. For now, she had to take care of her new friend's belongings. She heard Maxwell voice his concerns, and decided to reassure him as well. "Maybe someone can find an entrance that is not underwater...?" She suggested. "That would work for me as well, since I do not know how to swim..." She confessed.

Daka and the team made it to Lake Hylia, and when they did, Daka was screaming in his head, Where is the pedestal where we play the song that raises the temple from the waters? Isn't this anything like the Temple near where the Dekus live?! Daka sat down next to the water and swatted at it. "Wah... (I can't swim...)" Daka sighed, looking in the water.

While Iris was finding the Water Temple from underwater, she would find that the Temple entrance was visible, but it will not open....No matter how she may try to do it. Behind her, an even bigger army of Octoroks were watching her from behind...About 15 green angry eyes were staring at her from the darkness...

 

Meanwhile, on land, while the others were waiting, another voice could be heard, but not from inside their heads.

"Hey, hey, hey!" The voice called out. It would be the scarecrow to their right. It was waving back and forth. "Hey! Come 'ere! I need to tell you people something!" The Scarecrow said. Kai was surprised by the scarecrow talking. He almost jumped but didn't. He looked to the others. "Should we talk to him?" He asked.

Rabiyu was sitting by the lake while looking calmly at the water.

"It looks like Irisviel is good at magic."

The ranger's mind was starting to drift away when she heard a voice. The moment she turned around she saw the source, a scarecrow.

"I think we should." She answered Kai. "Maybe we can get some clues about the temple, or maybe he's lonely and wants someone to talk with."

Iri kicked the damn door and turned around...to face an army. Sighing, she held Thornscar blade down, using the elongated handle as a pseudo-staff.

"I don't think you idiots realize who you're dealing with..."

 

She shot forward, the water moving her at them. Her black blade of sorrow sliced through the beasts with impunity, their cannonballs striking her a few times...but by the time she was done, it didn't matter. Weakly kicking, Iri headed for the surface, and finally broke through. Gasping in pain, she swam to the shore, a bit aways from the group. Crawling up, she collapsed, her body pretty banged up from the Octorok ambush.

"Ow..." was all she said, laying in the grass. "...dammit."

Sara was about to go talk to the scarecrow, but Irisviel's arrival distracted her. Seeing her new friend hurt, she quickly ran over to her. Thankfully, she'd decided to buy a potion on the way into town. She'd actually bought a lot of random junk with the allowance her brother had given her, but the potion was definitely the most important one of them. She handed it to Irisviel. "Here, drink this." She sounded worried. "What happened to you down there? Were there monsters in the water, too?"

Irisviel drank it, then sat up coughing.

"Octoroks. Ambush near temple...sealed door...barely got them. I'm not good in such areas." She coughed again. "Ow...my side...got me good..."

Nora looked over as Irisviel surfaced. If there were enemies waiting down there then there was a good chance that that place was the place they were looking for... But it was best to check all sources first. She walked away, Sara would take care of Irisviel, and headed towards the scarecrow. "Well then," she turned back to the uninjured/ not-assisting-the-injured members of their party, "let's see what he has to say." Moving forward again, the knight stopped in front of the straw man and smiled. "Hello Sir, I am a Knight of Hylia, and I was sent to investigate the irregular happenings in this area." She had to lie a bit, which she regretted, but they couldn't tell people their actual mission unless they wanted to attract the more attention from the Dark Fairy. "Can you tell us anything about the monsters that have been showing up around here?"

The scarecrow still moved back and forth. "Oh good! Your friend made it before it was too late." The scarecrow said. Kai blinked twice at this comment. "Before it was too late for what?" He asked the scarecrow.

"Before I explain, I'll say my name! My name is Pierre. I've been staying right here in this lake for as long as I can remember! But back to your question..." The scarecrow stopped moving. "Things have been happening around here. Strange things. After an amount of time, dark clouds would suddenly start to show, covering the entire lake. Then rain would fall down. Lighting would strike! And here's the worst part...." Pierre paused for a moment.

 

"The lake would be making dangerous, wild waves! It's like a storm every time and it looks more dangerous than the last! The latest one that happened almost made it to the land! And I would see some Octoroks flying out of them and onto land!"

 

Kai went wide-eyed at this explanation. Sudden storms? How was something possible. Pixi then appeared and was flying next to Kai. "Call it a hunch, but I think it's one of those Dark Fairy curses."  She told the others.

Sara's potion only seemed to help a little. She'd need to use something a little more powerful... She held her rod out towards Irisviel, and it began to glow green. Shortly after, Irisviel began to glow the same color. "That was a healing spell. It should help you get better." Sara smiled. "If we need to battle more Octoroks down there, that could be a problem..." She tried to think about ways they could counter them. She couldn't even swim, let alone fight underwater. What would she do if there was another ambush, especially if the temple was down there? She decided to make sure that Irisviel was better, first. "Do you need help getting up, Irisviel?" Sara asked, extending a hand to help the girl back to her feet.

"How does that help us getting to the temple underwater?" Maxwell questioned the scarecrow, getting straight to the point, while the report was definitely related to the dark fairy, he wanted to get this over with, as they already had one heavily injured, He walked beside Kai and looked at the scracrow crossing his arms.

 

"How do we go about opening the temple's doors?" he asked.

Rabiyu followed Nora with her eyes. She also listened as the young knight told a little lie to the strange scarecrow.

"A knight of Hylia." She thought. "And here I thought the White Goddess only had one knight."

She then sighed and crossed her arms.

"Sounds like a a clue," Rabiyu said as she got closer to the others. "but just like Maxwell said, it doesn't answer our question."

The ranger turned around and looked at the lake.

"Do you known any way to get into the temple?" She asked Pierre. "Anything at all."

With the spell working wonders, Iri sat up slowly. She had a massive scar fem where the Octorok had hit her with a well pled cannonball...then her body slightly warped...as an illusion spell fell. What had appeared to be smooth skin noe bore numerous scars, most on her back and stomach. She looked away, then went invisible eith a single uttered word.

"Don't look at me." She yanked her bag from Sara, and soon rustled into some high bushes. "Unless you want to see the fruit of an aristocratic upbringing."

Pierre thought about this. He looked up at the sky in thought....Then finally, he looked back at the Warriors and moved around again. "I may not know an alternative way, but maybe the Zoras do! You could go to the Zora Domain and ask them about it!" Pierre suggested.

"Zoras? What are those?" Kai asked.

"Zoras are creatures that spend most of their time in the water and can even walk on land Kai." Pixi answered. "Oh okay! Then let's-"

"LOOK! Above the lake!" Pixi suddenly said. Kai turned to the lake and saw what the scarecrow was talking about. A dark cloud was forming over the lake. It started small, then got bigger and bigger and bigger, just about big enough to cover the entire section of Lake Hylia, even the whole shore! "Woah....Things just got dark quickly..." Kai commented.

 

And if any of warriors would leave at this time, they couldn't. Not while the storm event was taking place. The exits were blocked by magic.

Sara would have asked Irisviel about the scars, but given how the girl responded ,she figured it would be best to not bring it up. Instead, she allowed Irisviel to take the bag back. "If you are feeling better, we should go and join the others soon." She suggested. She also noticed the sudden cloud above the lake... "We should try to get away from that, as well."
