Calling all Roleplayers!

Hello all! I'll try and be swift so I can collect opinions in a reasonable time manner. A friend of mine attempted to introduce a system some time ago that involved a collection of roleplay battles solely for the sake of said battles. People would post their characters in the main thread and announce challenges and a separate thread would go to the battle. I'm here to make a second attempt at such a ideal. Introducing the KH13 Combat Network!

 

In brief, there would later be a thread explaining how the system would work. To put it simply, said thread would have guidelines for how the system operates and a database of participating members with links to a thread posted by said member containing all their available fighters. The main Network thread would be used to apply for entry into the player database and make public challenges, and the individual duels would be carried out in their own individual threads. 

 

I know lots of people like to roleplay for the story (insert self advertisement here referring to a roleplay I'm trying to start (check my posted topics in my profile))  However, from what I've seen, hands on combat has been a staple of KH13 roleplaying, and I would like to create a network in which roleplayers can duke it out and hone their fighting skills whenever they want. Tried that, the people there made it sound ridiculously complex. I think a newcomer-friendly version would prove much better in my opinion.This sounds awesome actually. Sounds like Megaman Battle Network. "KH13 Combat Network", huh, how about we abbreviate it to KHCN or KHBN? Only an idea, of course. I don't really have TOO many characters, but I'd be willing to make amends if the people I battle aren't brutal murderers who LOVE to have killing scenes. (Hence the Sword of Stones crew no offense.)Rock on!

You tried the wrong person. Riki, as grand as his vision is, is not the greatest at putting it into simple terms. Takes practice to fully understand what he is saying in my experience. Try anyone else and you'd likely have a better time.

Yep, what she says. Usuallly seeing movies helps to understand the flow of battles... unless you are Lv 1 vs lv 99 GOD +++++ in that case... welp... potato...

Those were my words exactly, had to re-read that a couple times before I actually understood what the heck I was reading.
