Unto The abyss 79 Posted September 30, 2015 The Totodile seemed excited and very happy. You could even call it jolly. He ran about in circles around the Cyndaquil as it appeared. He seemed fast for a Totodile. "You seem pretty happy to be outside." Adam said to the energetic Totodile. The pokemon seemed to ignore him and continue to run around. Kor winced a little at that, but smiled as he looked on at the two people in front of him. He looked down at Azure, who was glaring at him, before then looking to Chuck and Adam. He was also looking forward to making friends in addition to Pokemon. "Yeah, Azure's the name of my Totodile, because he's as blue as the ocean, and I can tell that it will take a while to make him nice. My grandfather lives in Olivine City." he said as he shuffled into his bag and pulled out a S.S. Anne Ticket. "I came here with this and have resided in Olivine City for about a year." Azure glared at the tree and he jumped at it, and bit it, and kept on biting it with strong force. Kor was already feeling excited while he was meeting new people. "Cool! I'm assuming you're going to challenge the Eight Gym Leaders and fill up the Pokedex, and meet new Pokemon, just like I am, huh? Considering that we just got a Pokemon and Pokedex." Azure let go of the tree, and and started looking at Rex with no hostility on it's face. Kor was quite curious about this, wondering if Azure didn't trust people. He looked at Chuck, and then at Azure. "I'm not too sure, the Professor did say that Azure tried to bite him on the head, perhaps he's hostile to people." Said Kor, talking to Chuck. He said but it seems Blaze is ignoring James and is just standing there. ''You want to play like that? Fine I'll just carry you then'' He says to Blaze while he struggels to pick him up. Kor was getting excited as he was already meeting more people, and that he was also meeting new Pokemon. The thought of meeting more Pokemon made him happy. It wasn't THAT big of a problem. Rose's Chikorita was a boy. She knew exactly what to name him. She would name him after a plant. NEX 2 Posted October 1, 2015 (edited) Alexis watched the girl leave before walking up to Professor Elm herself. "Hello. Im Alexis Newlands. Im here to pick up my first Pokemon." "Ah yes.. I do believe your the last one." The professor says to her. (Correct me if Im wrong) "Seriously! Aww... Oh well I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised I did wake up late." Alexis smiles. "Anyway I already know which Pokemon I want." "Well I suppose thats good." Elm smiles "and which one is it." "I would like Chikorita please." Alexis smiles. Professor Elm gladly gives her a Pokeball containing a Chikorita. In addition he also gives her 5 empty poke balls and hands her a pokedex. "Huh? Whats this for?" "Its for you to record data on the pokemon you see along your journey." Elm explained. "I see. alright then. Im ready to go!" Alexis smiled. "Thank you Professor. Ill be off now." Strike thought about how she chose Chikorita, a grass type, which he knew was weak against a fire type like Zoda. Maybe it would be a good idea for Strike to have his first battle against Alexis, since Zoda would have an advantage and Strike needed to test his and Zoda's battling skills. "Hey Alexis, you chose a Chikorita, a nice choice indeed. Say since we are both new trainers, why don't we have a battle? It could help straighten us both as trainers." Strike asked her. "Okay Zoda, this is the first moment in our journey together. If we are to fulfill our dreams, we must grow from experience, so let's give it everything we got." Strike said to Zoda as Zoda smiled at Strike and nodded. "Quil!" Zoda said as he then jumped from Strike's arms and on to the ground, ready for battle. NEX 2 Posted October 1, 2015 Alexis made sure she gave the other trainers outside some distance away from the battle before she called out the Chikorita. The grass pokemon landed onto the ground. "I apologize for not getting to know you first." she said to the pokemon who seemed to quickly realize the battle that was about to occur. NEX 2 Posted October 1, 2015 "If their going to start strong then so are we. Start it off with Grassy Terrain!" Alexis exclaimed having pulled out her pokedex to examine the moves of her pokemon. Chikorita responded by spinning the leaf atop its head. The ground beneath began to glow brightly and Chikorita's grass attacks grew in strength.
