Soravids 1,056 Posted September 25, 2015 For the first time in 4 years I'm currently replaying Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII on my PSP in preparation for the PS4 port of the original FF7 coming in less than a month. I gotta say it's every bit as great as I remembered. I would love to see an HD remaster on PS4 one day. Perhaps when the FF7 remake nears it's release? 1 Clouded Sun reacted to this
Ven983 490 Posted September 25, 2015 I would imagine that sometime in the near future would make a bundle that includes Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, and MAYBE (A very huge maybe) Advent Children for the PS4. 1 Soravids reacted to this

I have never played it myself, and have heard mostly negative reviews about since because of it's gameplay style, but since it is part of the official FFVII timeline it would be hard to imagine them not trying to re-sell it sometime before the Remake releases. 1 Soravids reacted to this
Shulk 8,623 Posted September 25, 2015 We've had enough remasters lately. I'd be fine waiting a while until they decide to bring Crisis Core to the PS4. The PSP version still plays just fine.
Bartholomew W 67 Posted September 25, 2015 It would be awesome if the final fantasy vii remake had all the final fantasy vii stuff in it. Like what they did with ffx and x2. 1 SorrowSurvivor reacted to this

It's one I'd get, but at this rate, I'd prefer it if third party developers took a break from constant remakes/remasters. Square could probably wait a little bit before making a remake for Crisis Core. 1 Soravids reacted to this
Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted September 25, 2015 2 things. One, it's not a port of Final Fantasy VII coming to PS4, it's a Remake. A port is when you simply move a game from one system to another. A remake is when you rebuild the game from scratch or take it and fundamentally change major parts of it. A Final Fantasy VII port would be just taking the original PSOne game and having it available digitally on the PS4...which they've done already. What they're doing now is a remake. Second, while that might be interesting, I don't know for sure if they would do that. I mean, it would be welcome, but I wouldn't know if it HAS to happen before VII's release. It all depends on what they feel like doing, and seeing as how the team is busy with VII, I don't know if they would even have time to work on something like that. But who knows? Ven983 490 Posted September 25, 2015 I thought Advent Children was a movie...? It is a movie, that is why I said it is a huge maybe. It would be nice for them to include it in a bundle like that since it would it is part of the outlying FFVII story, but at the same time it isn't necessary because it is a movie that has been released. It would just be on there purely for convenience for the fanbase if it was included. 2 things. One, it's not a port of Final Fantasy VII coming to PS4, it's a Remake. Sora96 17,256 Posted September 25, 2015 Advent Children Complete's on the PlayStation Store if you want it on PS4 badly enough. Dirge of Cerberus should get a PS2 Classic release. Hajime Tabata does not want to remaster Crisis Core so it's not happening.

Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted September 25, 2015 Nope. Lol. Tabata clearly said earlier this year he did not want to remaster Crisis Core. Well that sucks. I really liked that game. They could have at least cleaned it up a bit and put it on Vita. I really need an excuse to use my Vita, I haven't been buying games that much lately. T_T" And as I said, what happened to that list of PSP into PS3 titles? I remember Birth by Sleep being one of those, but instead of being exclusive it got bundled in 2.5. Have any of the other games on that list met that obligation?

You know, not long ago you were saying an FFVII remake wouldn't happen and even said it would be a waste of resources, but here we are now. Just saying. The port of FFVII is what's coming next month. The remake isn't coming for a long time. Not if Motomu Toriyama is co-director. Guys, don't you think we should at least wait a little while before we start calling Nomura slow on the FFVII remake? There was plenty of staff working on XV, so blaming him alone for what happened isn't accurate. We're supposed to get more news this Winter so I think we'll be pleased with that.
