catmaster0116 2,676 Posted September 21, 2015 (edited) The Keyblade was modelled in blender, textured using photoshop and then imported into Mikumiku dance (MMD) as a prop...EVERYTHING was done by me...a good 2 and a half weeks to make and a good 2 months to learn how to use blender ~ Right now I'm trying to fix the physics of the Keychain Chain which is driving me completely insane You can see a closer look here I feel like doing the foreteller's Keyblade too....but after seeing how complex the designs are...I gave up...I just don't have the time to spend . catmaster0116 2,676 Posted September 21, 2015 This looks EXCELLENT!I want to be a 3D animator but I haven't even started yet. Can you help? Thank you I'm not a pro modeller, I was just lucky that everything turned out okay - if truth be told this was my first 3D model I ever made from scratch lmfao. In terms of software, I use Blender 3D Modeller, the software is free to download from their website. Be warned though that 3D modelling and animation is not something that is easy and it will take lots of time and perserverence (and most days I just want to bash my head in since I also have University). There are many videos on youtube that give you guides on how to model stuff, I suggest you start with these first and make simple things like a ball or a table before you try manking complex things like weapons or vehicles or even character faces. The animation software that I use is a software originally aimed at animating vocaloid models called 'Miku Miku Dance' - again this is a free software that you can find by simple googling. There are detailed guides out there which explain how to use the software as well as export models from blender and then import them into the MMD system called 'PMD editor', Do give them a read. Also if you poke around deviantart lng enough you can also find KH models (like Sora, Riku, Xehanort...etc) to use in MMD. Once again, I stress the fact that it will take some time - but if you put in the effort and work, I'm sure you can make magic into reality. 1 AngelTheWeirdStranger reacted to this

catmaster0116 2,676 Posted September 21, 2015 Thank you very much.I should mention that I have no drawing skills. Can I still do it? I can't draw either But imagination is a must! All things start from ideas and imagination - as long as you have those you are set to go. When I made the Starlight Keyblade, I didn't draw anything - I only coloured it in on photoshop 1 AngelTheWeirdStranger reacted to this

Kittenz 4,281 Posted September 21, 2015 I suggest this instead of mmd
Veemon 1,540 Posted September 21, 2015 That's an excellent effort! Good job. I'm not sure what kind of art-like designing I want to do, but this is just one of them. (Other industries include: Hand-Drawn; Digital editing; animation(maybe); Blacksmithing (building swords, shields, etc.); and maybe even sculpting.)
